"Hurricane Katrina elevated Nagin to the national stage, where he gained a reputation for colorful and sometimes cringe-inducing rhetoric. During a radio interview broadcast in the storm’s early aftermath, he angrily pleaded with federal officials to “get every doggone Greyhound bus line in the country and get their asses moving to New Orleans.” In January 2006, he apologized for a Martin Luther King Day speech in which he predicted New Orleans would be a “chocolate city” and asserted that “God was mad at America.”

With no George Bush to blame or democrat party to shield him from criticism for inaction and imprisonment for negligence in the death of hundreds of people, I want to see this low life shyster talk his way out of this one! Ray-Na faces 10-35 years in Federal Prison. Couldn't happen to a more deserving guy.
It was only a matter of time that Nagin would be found to be corrupt. Nagin was not bright enough get out of his own way during the Katrina hurricane event and yet the voters of New Orleans elected him a second time. I guess when you're a liberal you are, by definition, a glutton for punishment by your very own Democrats.
ReplyDeleteEvery major city or state in America that is in fiscal and financial trouble is led by Democrats. It's more than a trend. It's a way of life for Democrats to spend other people's money as if there is no tomorrow. Even drunken sailors realize the party is over when the money runs out.
