Giving to Congress Information of the State of the Union

"As undignified as it is unedifying and unnecessary, the vulgar State of the Union circus is again at our throats.
The document that the Constitutional Convention sent forth from Philadelphia for ratification in 1787 was just 4,543 words long, but this was 17 too many. America would be a sweeter place if the Framers had not included this laconic provision pertaining to the president: 'He shall from time to time give to the Congress information of the state of the union.'
"'Information'? Not exactly.
"The Constitution’s mild requirement has become a tiresome exercise in political exhibitionism, the most execrable ceremony in the nation’s civic liturgy, regardless of which party’s president is abusing it. You worship bipartisanship? There is not a dime’s worth of difference between the ways the parties try to milk partisan advantage from this made-for-television political pep rally." — George F. Will

  1. If you're an honest politician then you should not be in attendance at this democRatic lying corrupt fiasco.

  2. And just since you posted this Jan, King Messiah Emperor Obama has used his executive power to raise minimum wage for federal contractors. And who exactly are federal union contractors? Oh I know who they are, future democRat voters is who they are.

  3. A very simple solution to this dilemma: impeachment!

    1. Eugene yes impeachment a fine solution. But we have a Congress with no integrity that will bring impeachment charges. Both sides of the aisle are 100% corrupt. I believe we can count on one hand the number of honest politicians in America. I've been wondering lately if Obama is America's punishment for forgetting the Ten Commandments and God.

  4. Jack, I agree with you as to the level of honesty in Washington. However, Obama is a lame duck. He benefits no one, and he is rapidly becoming a deficit to his own party. The Demon-crats, as friends of mine refer to them, are looking toward 2016. If Obama continues to cost them votes they will look to their own interests. Like rats fleeing a sinking ship, they will abandon Obama. First, they will have to find some way to make sure it can't be interpreted as being about race. They may have to use one of their house ni**ers to act as the Judas goat, but they will most certainly dissociate themselves from his "legacy" before he destroys Hillary's chances of being elected.
