RCP - 46* Now Officially Less Popular Than 45. And It Only Took Him a Year.

Without the major newspapers, the hateful twitter mobs and 5 major networks pounding away at him 24/7- 365, the man that loveth ice cream and the media proclaimed as another "Lincoln," ready to “hug” and heal the nation is now less liked than his predecessor.

"As of February 1, 2022, Biden’s Real Clear Politics (RCP) average of all the polls showed him at 41.4 percent approval and 54.7 percent disapproval. 

Exactly four years ago, on February 1, 2018, Trump’s RCP average stood at 41.5 percent approval and 54.5 percent disapproval."

As 46's* progressive circus begins to crumble, it's become less realistic for the media to ignore reality and pretend that Biden is popular.  So, they don't try. And while 46* enjoyed worshipful media reporting, both in the campaign 'Hunker in the Bunker", and during his first year, much of the coverage now acknowledges things aren’t going well, but still won't admit the self-inflicted damage and downplay or ignore the most explicitly bad numbers for Biden.

46* is now, officially, historically unpopular, and more unpopular than 45.  In 2017, the networks gleefully noted that polls found DJT “unfit to serve,” that people were embarrassed to have him as president.” Yet Biden’s numbers are equally horrific.

Maybe it’s time now for all the apocalyptic, nightmarish polling language journalists used to describe DJT's media driven unpopularity to be brought back and applied to Joe Biden. That is, of course, if journalists wanted to be honest.

Dr. Jill - I didn’t expect ‘healing role’ as first lady. 🙃

Well neither did we sister! But according to the AP, while sitting in the sunshine near the swimming pool at a lavish Casino Hotel in Las Vegas, the first lady told the Associated Press she saw herself as a key member of President Joe Biden’s team; that she found herself taking on a role that "I didn’t kind of expect, which was like a healing role."

“I would want to know that my president and first lady cared about me. I think that’s an important part of what I do. I mean, just helping people through the tough times.”

She's obviously trapped up in her own imaginary bubble of DC royalty. Someone needs to tell Dr. Jill that shuttling her husband back and forth between DC and Delaware every weekend doesn't really qualify as healing a nation. And dragging your husband to the site of a disaster 10 days after the event is not healing either, doc. It's a photo op. We know the difference. 

We all know she watched with envy a drooling media shower an undignified & unattractive Michell Obama with glowing comments of her intelligence and monthly fashion magazine covers wearing clownish outfits, and she wants some of that. She wants it really bad. 

Truth be told, Dr. Jill should just be glad that the media is having mercy on her and not giving her the Melania Trump treatment because her husband is a senile doofus who's run the country into the ditch.  

It Seems America's House is not a Happy House

White House lower-level aides reportedly have the sads and are considering leaving their jobs because of what appears to be a lack of appreciation and respect it was revealed in an exposé published by Politico on Wednesday.

The top aides run the White House in an insular, top-heavy way and maintain distance from the lower-level aides, they told Politico. “No new friends in Biden world,” is apparently how they describe it.

But it gets worse. The aides say that they were only allowed to participate in the White House’s Independence Day party if they volunteered like indentured servants. “Most White House staff could only attend if they worked as unpaid volunteers staffing the event, per an email from White House operations sent at the time and shared with us,” according to Politico. Things were slightly better for Thanksgiving when attendance was reportedly doled out based on a lottery system. In this instance, some aides got to attend without having to roll up their sleeves. But the keyword there is some.

“The White House also used a lottery to dole out time slots for holidays tours this week, setting aside three days when staffers could bring their family members to see the building’s elaborate Christmas décor.” This made them angry.

In fairness to the Biden administration, many note this is how Democrats have always operated — by seeming to treat their allies and those who are useful to them well and everybody else — the commoners, per se — like trash. “People are thrown under the bus from the very top, there are short fuses and it’s an abusive environment. It’s not a healthy environment, and people often feel mistreated. It’s not a place where people feel supported but a place where people feel treated like s–t,” one source told the outlet.

Too many people who think they are smart and aware actually just don’t grasp the obvious. So they have to be hit in the head — figuratively! — with a hammer … again and again and again … until they see the light (or until the hammer breaks — figuratively!).  No one sensible conceivably thought that after 50 years of his manifest mediocrity and plentiful plagiarism in public life, this charisma-less character suddenly was going to become another Winston Churchill. Biden so obviously was going to lead us nowhere, certainly not into the Promised Land.  Like the mediocre colonel who submitted a mediocre application for promotion, his only letter of recommendation could read: “His men would follow him anywhere — but only out of curiosity.”

And yet the Democrats selected him from among their box of chocolates without fillings in the center. And now the rest of America is surprised to see the Guernica they got?  It never could have been otherwise. He had no vision for half a century,  and yet now he suddenly was going to see a future? His bumbling of Afghanistan was so dramatic that it pierced through the combined Leftist Media and Social Media walls protecting him from public view. People finally got their glimpse of the man they had seated in the Oval Office. He never has been in positive numbers since.*

Not only does the emperor have no clothes, but he also is no emperor. The border is in chaos. He has inflaming race relations. His vengeful weasel of an Attorney General is now looking to criminalize parental expressions of deep concern regarding their children's education. Crime is soaring as bail is ended, while police are disheartened, resigning, or taking early retirement, avoiding resolving particularly perilous street incidents when they can look the other way.

The pandemic that he said would disappear on his watch has not. The economy that he said he could manage better than DJT is on the verge of becoming a trash fire unseen since the Carter years. He has not distinguished himself on foreign policy; our enemies see a weaken animal while our allies nervously fain confidence.   

This is the mess we did not need to bring upon ourselves, but too many Americans needed reality hammered into their heads — figuratively! And, as Winston Churchill may have observed, Americans have an innate ability to make the right choices … but only after they first have opted for each and every other available wrong choice.

When Americans have it too good, we need to ruin our lives when no one else will step forward to do it for us.  Biden as president ran on a 50-year record of failure and racial bigotry. Everyone knew it. Why is anyone surprised that so much of the floor has fallen out, the ceiling has collapsed.  And yet we must pray for Biden’s mental and physical status not to recede further for the next three years while a sub-mediocrity lurks in the wings hoping to pounce in at first opportunity?*

Just Another Day at Joey's Playhouse

46* today continued his tradition of turning his back on reporters and walking away, ignoring shouted questions at the conclusion of his handlers prepared remarks. From his new Playhouse Set that resembles an under funded local community theater company stage set up across the street from the White House, he spoke to media about the response to COVID-19 to deflect from the slow motion train wreck he presides over.  

Run out of prepared words on his monitor, he offered his easy to remember signature "may God protect our troops" closing line before showcasing his familiar move of bolting for the nearest door as reporters bark "Mr. President" over each other like rabid Chihuahuas.

Yesterday 46* also turned his back on the press following a truck load of bad news about the economy. He did the same thing following his remarks on a bleak September jobs report last week. Biden has repeatedly implied that his care takers set the rules and determine when and where he’s allowed to take questions from the press.

Failing to engage with reporters since taking office you know is driving the press absolutely bat shit crazy behind the scenes.

In Clown World There is Always Another Act Warming Up Off-stage

The media is busy making the Vegetable-in-Chief sound like a statesman, which is far less exciting than it sounds. The novelty of having a dementia patient in the White House has worn off and we are left with the reality. That reality is that there was never any reason for Biden to be president, other than he was the only option they had to replace Trump. 

Once he scrawled what he thinks is his name on the executive orders they put in front of him, there was nothing left on the agenda. The long temper tantrum no longer has a reason, so the stasis of late empire decline is back, which means nothing happens. 

The only potential for something interesting to happen is if they snuff out the vegetable and install Harris. She is revealing herself to be dumber and shallower than anyone imagined. She is fumbling the softest of questions from the most obsequious of reporters. It seems impossible, but she may have less cognitive function than her boss and he is close to brain dead. - The Z Man
