Chalk One More Up in the Democrat Sleezeball Column

No experience in office? Check. Sketchy business partners? Check. Media manipulation? Check.
Well Hell, Let's Make Him Governor....

Sleezeball- Elect McAuliffe

Terry McAuliffe represents an unseemly side of Washington. His primary role in politics for the past two decades or more has been to spew the party line in the media, and raising lots of cash. Most notably, for the Clintons. He cooked up the idea of essentially renting out the Lincoln bedroom during the Clinton administration as a fundraising vehicle, and he smashed all previous presidential fundraising records in the process.

When McAuliffe was the Dems' top fundraiser, a campaign finance scandal besieged the Clinton White House. Coincidence? No. McAuliffe was all about pushing the envelope when it came to the political money chase. That alone is not be enough to render him a distasteful political candidate in his party. Quiet the contrary.

What's different about McAuliffe is his brazen mixing of his campaign fundraising activity and attempts to enrich himself personally. Many of McAuliffe's business deals have come about due to his place in the political cosmos, not because he possesses a wealth of business skill. That tangled history has linked him to a long list of slimy unsavory characters.

He's Not Lying About Not Telling the Truth......

"if you like your health-care plan, you will be able to keep your health-care plan, period.”

But that’s not what he really said. Got it!

ObamaCare or (SPMD) - Sick Pig of Mass Deception

In todays New York Times, Reed Abelson and Katie Thomas carried the water on behalf of Obama and his administration. The headline: "Under Health Care Act, Millions Eligible for Free Policies."

It took 21 paragraphs to inform readers that the "free" plans have annual out-of-pocket cost limits of $6,350 for individuals and $12,700 for families. They never described how the deductibles or copays work, and never noted that taxpayers are funding the subsidies.

NewsBusters
"Millions of people could qualify for federal subsidies that will pay the entire monthly cost of some health care plans being offered in the online marketplaces set up under President Obama’s health care law, a surprising figure that has not garnered much attention, in part because the zero-premium plans come with serious trade-offs.
The vast majority of people who voted for politicians who supported the Affordable Care Act fully expect their plans to have very low deductibles ($500 - $1,000 or less), normal copay percentaages of roughly 80%, and virtually uninhibited access to medical providers. At best, the second one might be present in some plans; you can forget about Items 1 and 3.
The primary mission of Abelson's and Thomas's report appears to be to delay that inevitable firestorm by throwing around the magic word "free....."
And now that "The People" are starting awake to the sick pig they just bought called ObamaCare, and a bit of real socialism they can understand has grabbed them by the ankle, the numbers and figures no one cared about are starting to become clear and giving a dose of stark reality.

 this from Forbes
"The projections, prepared by the Society of Actuaries in March, 2013 predicted some pretty outrageous premium increases for people with individual coverage in the likes of California (62%), Alabama (60%), Texas (34%) and Arizona (41%). Only in New York, Massachusetts and New Jersey would the premiums decline slightly for people with individual coverage, a segment of the market that is expected to increase from 11.9 million people at present to 25.6 million as more Americans sign up for insurance coverage under ObamaCare.
These projected increases, which you won’t hear the White House mentioning, are due to “the fact that premiums are driven primarily by the underlying cost of medical care and not health plans administrative costs and profits.” In general, the states expected to have large jumps in the premium now have “low current individual costs and those having high current individual costs” will show decreases."
Read the last sentence above again.
So rather than attack the high cost of medical care nationwide, we will just raise the cost of insurance where it is the most affordable.

A Good Monday Morning

MyCancellation.com - @MyCancellation on Twitter

by Heather Higgins
President IWV
"All those cancellations of policies people thought they had been promised they could keep... They didn't know that back in the summer of 2010 the Administration issued regulations undoing that endlessly repeated promise (if a private company attempted that, we'd call it bait & switch) and then, in September 2010, Democrats voted unanimously to ratify that redefinition.
But the millions who will be so affected deserve more than just to be part of a large number that is dismissed and forgotten.
So Independent Women's Voice has created MyCancellation.com. Ask anyone you know who has received a cancellation letter to go there - ask them to submit a picture of their cancellation letter (if they don't block out personal info, we will - unlike the present administration, we actually are concerned about privacy). Even better, because each of these letters came as costly, horrific surprises to real people, is if they "put a face on it" -- include themselves in the picture."

"And if they really want to have fun - include a sign in the picture to tell the viewer what they think about this broken promise, or how much an increase they are looking at, or whatever else they want to convey.
Twitter suspended @MyCancellation (it's back up again now) shortly after its launch this afternoon, for no apparent reason, so we know someone's worried. With your help, we'll really give them something to worry about."

Sebelius Warns Critics: BTFO

MFNS - Following this weeks disastrous Obamacare hearing on Capitol Hill, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius has released a video message to her critics on Youtube where she warns: “Back the f**k off, or I’ll go nuclear.”

The so-called “nuclear option” has long been considered a red line for the administration. It would see Sebelius cede control of implementing the Affordable Care Act to the Department of Veterans Affairs.

“You think this is bad now? You think this is bad now?! You ain’t seen nothing!” Sebelius says in the two-minute video posted early this morning.
“They’ve been in business for decades, are grossly underfunded and have only a few million customers. It takes them six months just to lose your application. Their website is a Kafkaesque labyrinth straight out of Dante. You will f**king BEG me to be in charge again. Subpoena me one more time and I will f**king do it, bitches!"
At press time, VA Secretary Eric Shinseki was seen nervously adjusting his beret and shifting uncomfortably in his seat when asked for comment.

Obama Won't Attend 150th anniversary of Lincoln's Gettysburg Address.

For a president who has so demonstrably associated himself with Lincoln, the heir of Lincoln's policies who announced his candidacy from the steps of the Old State Capitol in Springfield and used the Lincoln Bible (twice) at his inauguration,  this is nothing less than a profile in cowardice. But then, no opportunity for fundraising, no way to push an agenda, no putting green......

The Sentinel
"Barack Obama will not attend next month's event marking the 150th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address in Pennsylvania. Officials at Gettysburg National Military Park said Wednesday that U.S. Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell will represent the administration the Nov. 19 sesquicentennial.
It's being held on the day that marks the dedication of the national cemetery where more than 3,500 Union soldiers killed in the Battle of Gettysburg are buried."

Help Us Defeat Sen. Mary Landrieu

Theres an Available Corner on Bourbon St. Waiting for Her

On a Tip from Odie The Woodsterman

Fellow Conservatives:

Col. Rob Maness (R-LA)We have exciting news to share. On Monday, we endorsed retired Air Force Colonel Rob Maness (R-LA) for the U.S. Senate in Louisiana.

Now if you don't live in Louisiana, you might be asking: "What does this have to do with me?"  It has everything to do with you because U.S. Senators impact the lives of all Americans regardless of where they live.

Just look at Obamacare.

U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA) -- the 16-year incumbent -- cast the deciding vote for the health care takeover. Her vote not only hurt people in Louisiana, it hurt all of us. And if Mary Landrieu is re-elected, she will continue to support liberal policies that take away our freedoms.

We are supporting Colonel Rob Maness because he's exactly the kind of principled leader our nation needs. He's a conservative outsider who will fight to stop the spending, bailouts, and debt that are bankrupting our country.

Rob Maness is a retired Air Force colonel, a decorated combat veteran, and a Bronze Star recipient who lives in Madisonville, Louisiana. He worked his way up from the enlisted ranks to full colonel and retired in 2011, ending his military service of more than 32 years.

Maness is the candidate we need to face Mary Landrieu next year, but first he has to overcome Congressman Bill Cassidy (R-LA), an establishment Republican.

Bill Cassidy is no conservative. He voted to fund Obamacare, increase the debt limit, and to pass a bloated farm bill.

Bill Cassidy has rightly been criticized for his Obamacare hypocrisy. Not only did Cassidy propose an Obamacare-lite plan in the state legislature, he's also tried to take credit for federal grants awarded through the Obamacare program. All of this is making it harder for him to contrast himself with Democrat Mary Landrieu.

To make things even worse, Cassidy previously donated money to Mary Landrieu's campaign. How does he expect voters to support him over Senator Landrieu when he previously supported her campaign?

Conservatives across the country need to lock arms with the grassroots in Louisiana and help Rob Maness win this critical race.
Please help us raise $100,000 for the Rob Maness U.S. Senate campaign.

When you donate to Rob Maness, SCF pays all processing and handling expenses so he receives 100% of your donation.

Best regards,

Matt Hoskins

Help us if you can to bring Proud Mary Landrieu  back to where she came from. I hear there are a few vacant street corners on Bourbon Street she can use with all the experience she has gained in DC.
