Huffington Poo Journalist Tweets His Stupidity

Ryan J. Reilly is a D.C.-based journalist reporter who writes for the Huffington Poo and usually covers topics related to The Justice Department and the Supreme Court stepped outside his normal area of expertise, taking to the mean streets of Ferguson early Sunday morning to report on the conditions of the city after the first midnight curfew was imposed by Gov. Jay Nixon.

Upon stumbling across what he thought was a “rubber bullet,” he posted a picture on Twitter in order to get clarification from his followers:

Reilly then received immediate outpouring feedback from his fans on Twitter:

Reilly made headlines on Wednesday after being one of the journalists reporters arrested by Ferguson police at a McDonald’s after he refused to stop recording as a SWAT team descended upon the restaurant. Now it appears as though he has another story to make him famous.

The Drunken Rose of Texas

Texas Democrats Out to Gain Revenge

by Robert Janicki

Governor Rick Perry (R) is the longest serving governor in Texas state history and has been governor of Texas since 2000.  To say Perry is a major thorn in the side of Texas Democrats is an understatement.  Republicans hold all statewide elective offices and Democrats are desperate to gain a foothold to begin to turn the state Democrat.  Apparently any attempt to smear and denigrate a Republican holding statewide office is fair game for the Democrats and it's probably an added bonus to see Perry's presidential ambitions thrashed with a lawsuit against him.

On to the Democrat's current effort to smear Governor Perry.
"A grand jury indicted Texas Gov. Rick Perry on Friday for allegedly abusing the powers of his office by carrying out a threat to veto funding for state prosecutors investigating public corruption - making the possible 2016 presidential hopeful his state's first indicted governor in nearly a century.
A special prosecutor spent months calling witnesses and presenting evidence that Perry broke the law when he promised publicly to nix $7.5 million over two years for the public integrity unit run by the office of Travis County District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg. Lehmberg, a Democrat, was convicted of drunken driving, but refused Perry's calls to resign."
It's said that a Grand Jury could indict a ham sandwich, since the legal threshold to do so is lower than a snake's belly.  A DA will often take a case to the Grand Jury when the DA has a very weak case, since the level necessary to indict by a Grand Jury is far less than even the threshold of probable cause required of a DA.

One has to ask why the subject DA's office in Austin, the state capital, chose not to indict under their own legal authority and discretion.  The DA did not use his office to take the case to a Grand Jury.  Instead, the DA appointed a Special Prosecutor from San Antonio to do the dirty work, quite possibly to avoid direct blowback from any adverse results from what some say is a pure political game of "Gotcha".  Pretty clever.
"Though the Republican governor now faces two felony indictments, politics dominates the case. Lehmberg is based in Austin, which is heavily Democratic, in contrast to most of the rest of fiercely conservative Texas. The grand jury was comprised of Austin-area residents."
This is a political issue masked as a legal issue, since the governor has the legal authority to veto any legislation put before him for his signature and enactment into law.  Courts are very hesitant to become involved in such political issues.  I suspect that Democrats will enjoy their effort to smear Perry.  I'm just not certain that it will lead to any conviction of Perry and could easily backfire on Texas Democrats.

Like Trayvon Martin, There's Always More to the Story

The Lefty's Newest Cause Celeb
A 6.4 ft, 300lb. Angel Who Jacks Convenient Stores

I can't wait to see the pictures of him holding a puppy
and eating Twinkies at his grandmother's table.
"If not for new video evidence showing a person who has been positively identified as Brown committing strong-arm robbery nearby (at the same store which was looted and burned in the aftermath of his death), and just prior to the shooting incident, officer Wilson might have been railroaded as George Zimmerman nearly was last year, and falsely convicted of a very serious crime.
Lo and behold; the key witness at the scene of the shooting was Brown’s companion, Dorian Johnson, now revealed by published police reports to have been positively identified as being involved in the robbery himself. That means his account of what happened is not credible in the slightest, besides being logically impossible and absurd to begin with.
Brown’s companion, Johnson, alleged that Wilson had first reached up through the window from inside the car and grabbed the 6′ 4,” 300lb Brown by the neck–an unlikely and virtually impossible scenario, based on the reality of physical circumstances. Johnson also claimed that Wilson then tried to pull Brown into the vehicle with him, which also makes no sense whatsoever in terms of tactics."
Official reports are that officer Wilson has lacerations and contusions on his face from Brown beating him, and a spent shell casing was retrieved from inside the patrol car."

No Burnt Overpriced Coffee For You Jooos!!

Starbucks wants nothing to do with Israel
Now the End Begins
Coffee chain Starbucks has plenty of stores across the world, and plenty in Muslim nations. But one country where they proudly will not operate is in the nation of Israel. Starbucks closed all their stores over 11 years in the Holy Land, and today’s announcement effectively reveals they are boycotting Israel.
The coffee chain has issued a statement announcing that neither Starbucks nor CEO Howard Schultz “provides financial support to Israel,” or to its army, in the wake of what Starbucks called “false rumors.”
The company, which is known for flooding markets with its stores, also pointed out that it closed all of its stores in Israel because of “operational challenges.” Spokesman Jim Olson wouldn’t specify what challenges the company faced in Israel, but did say the decision to leave “was not related to political issues.”
Starbucks operates stores in Bahrain, Cyprus, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and United Arab Emirates in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Yaps at MoveOn.org Take Hillary Clinton to the Woodshed

I love when the left eats it own...

Hillary Clinton made headlineswhen she criticized the Obama administration for its disconnect to the violence against minority populations in Iraq and Syria. As Islamic State terrorists continue their rein of murder and beheadings across the region, the likely 2016 presidential contender took a critical position against Obama’s inaction, specifically regarding Syrian rebels who could have helped suppress the uprising at its infancy.

This from the women who once called Bashar al-Assad of Syria "a reformer"
“The failure to help build up a credible fighting force of the people who were the originators of the protests against Assad – there were Islamists, there were secularists, there was everything in the middle – the failure to do that left a big vacuum, which the jihadists have now filled."
Due to her perceived pro-military stance, fellow leftists have now turned on her. MoveOn.org, for example, issued a scathing critique of Clinton’s statement on the site Tuesday.

The disparaging declaration seemed to suggest that the former secretary of state would be unelectable in the Democrat Party due to her belief in shutting down terrorist regimes that threaten the U.S. and it allies.

Hillary is just moving right to distance herself from Obama's disastrous foreign policy, and to cover her ineptness as his Secretary of State.

Obama's Most Successful Accomplishment.......Division

"....the sheer “I won” in-your-face immaturity of the Obamaites — remember the “Hey, Hey, Goodbye” chant to Bush at the inauguration — ensured that people would be angrier than normal. And they did that on purpose because a sharply divided nation suited them politically. Now Ron Fournier wonders if Americans would rally behind Obama after another 9/11 the way we rallied behind Bush, and I think the answer is no — because Obama has spent his entire time in office flicking boogers at half the country.
As I’ve said before, the reason why presidents traditionally act “presidential” isn’t because they’re stiffly formal, it’s because acting presidential, rather than purely political, lets you appeal to the whole country in ways that a pure partisan can’t. Obama doesn’t care, and we may very well pay for that, too. But elections have consequences, and when you elect a guy like Obama, the consequences are bad ones." - Glenn Reynolds

Eric Holder Gets Smacked Down Hard in Federal Court.

by Robert Janicki

In a little noticed court decision last Friday a federal court refused to enjoin North Carolina's state voter ID law from being used in this year's congressional midterm elections.
"A federal court ...smacked down the Holder Justice Department and refused to enjoin (block) North Carolina’s voter ID law, curtailment of costly early voting and end of fraud-infested same day registration. This means the state’s voter ID law will be in place for the midterm congressional (and Senate) elections in November......"
This is a big thing especially considering the personal activism of the Attorney General in trying to suppress state enacted voter ID laws.  Here's how the Holder smack down went as analyzed by two legal experts in voter ID law.
"Hans von Spakovsky, former DOJ voting official, says it is going to be a very bad weekend for lawyers at the Justice Department Voting Section. “Eric Holder has been beaten now twice in the Carolinas on voter ID. Today’s ruling shows just how wrong he is when it comes to election law.”
"Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch says, “It is an embarrassing defeat for the Holder Justice Department. The court’s decision eviscerates Eric Holder’s politicized and racially inflammatory legal assault on commonsense election integrity measures. The court expressly rejected the Department of Justice’s contention that minorities are harmed by commonsense measures that help secure honest elections. The court’s dramatic rejection of Holder’s legal theory shows that that the DOJ’s lawsuit, which was coordinated with political activists at the White House, was always more about cynical political and racial appeals than upholding the law.”
In my life time of following politics and the American legal system, I have never heard a U.S. Attorney General publicly announce that he was proud to be an activist in seeing to the changing of laws that he personally felt were unjust for political reasons.  The courts and Congress determine what our laws are.  It is the duty of the Department of Justice, lead by the Attorney General, to follow the law as it is written.

We know and understand that the AG and the DOJ, that he leads, have some discretion in which cases they will or will not prosecute on behalf of the citizens of America, which may include pursuing cases that could be reasonably viewed as violating constitutional law.  What becomes apparent with this latest court action is that Holder personally invested his and Obama's political objective to reduce the security of the election process for the sole purpose to ensure greater participation of Democrat minority voters, rather than trying to maintain or improve the integrity of the election process.   This DOJ attack to overturn the NC voter law actually opens up the voter/election process to potential political corruption, when the NC voter law clearly indicates an effort to protect and enhance the security of the NC voter/election process.

The court found that the DOJ argumentation to overturn North Carolina's tightening of the voting process was counterintuitive and flew in the face of maintaining the integrity and validity of the election process for all legally eligible voters to ensure their votes count and are not diminished by corruption of the voting/election process by persons not legally eligible to vote in NC.

Hallmark of Obama Government: Unaccountability

"Billions of tax dollars are being lost every day to waste, fraud and corruption in the federal government, but President Obama’s administration is blocking inspectors general — the officials who are most likely to find and expose such wrongdoing — from doing their jobs. That’s the disturbing message given to Congress and the American people this week from a majority of the federal government’s 78 IGs. The blocking occurs when agency lawyers deny the authority of IGs to gain access to relevant documents and officials. ...
"It is impossible to know exactly how much the federal bureaucracy loses every year to waste, fraud and corruption. Credible estimates put the total at more than $200 billion, but in a $3.5 trillion budget it could easily far exceed that amount. Every time an IG is barred from gaining access to vital documents or officials, it encourages even more wrongdoing. Congress must get tough with people in the executive branch who obstruct IGs from doing their jobs. And when it’s the attorney general doing the obstructing, it’s time to bring back independent prosecutors." The Editors, The Washington Examiner

Michelle Obama Stills the Waters of Martha's Vineyard: (Viewer Discretion Advised)

The First Lady Shows Off Her Designer Bikini at Martha's Vineyard Beach

The Black Flag of ISIS

"When historians look back on Europe in this era, they will rub their eyes in disbelief. ISIS is carrying out actual genocide, ethnic and religious cleansing on the people of Syria and Iraq. Their exact ideological soul-mates in Hamas, Hezbollah and al-Qaeda are doing everything they can to set light to the same region.
Right now the western states are finally talking of intervening in Iraq to stop ISIS wiping out the ancient Yazidi and Christians communities of Iraq. Yet we do nothing to stop the same murderous ideology thriving here." - Douglas Murray, The Spectator
