What's the Point Bobby Jindal?

Jindal to Announce Presidential Run on June 24
WAPO - "Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, who has been preparing a longshot bid for the Republican presidential nomination, has scheduled a major announcement about his likely 2016 candidacy for later this month.
Jindal plans to declare his presidential intentions on June 24 with an event in New Orleans, an aide to the governor said late Tuesday. He is poised to enter a crowded Republican presidential field that already features nine announced candidates and likely will add a half dozen more in the coming weeks. Jindal currently is in his second term as governor of Louisiana. He previously served in Congress, and ran his state's Department of Health and Hospitals and the University of Louisiana system.
Jindal, 43, a Rhodes Scholar and son of Indian immigrants, has long been hailed as a rising star in the Republican Party and one of its sharpest policy minds. Yet he has struggled to break into the top tier of 2016 presidential candidates, despite aggressively courting the GOP's socially conservative base... "

Really Bobby, what's the point?

Jindal's been running for President every since his convincing win of a second term as Governor. But Jindal himself has tarnished he's star as far as Louisianians are concerned, and won't fly to high with America once his true record as Governor comes to light.

While continuing to staunchly opposition to the Common Core curriculum in Louisiana schools, he has backed away from his fight with the powerful Teachers Union in the state. He has refused to deal realistically with the 1.6 billion dollar deficit the state has run up, a deficit that includes the over generous taxpayer funded Tax Credits giving to the multi-millionaire movie makers and their industry just to keep the state's reputation as HOLLYWOOD SOUTH , while turning a blind eye to the increasing corruption it's caused in the state.

And in his haste to prove his conservative credentials, Jindal privatized the state charity hospital system, a system of teaching hospitals set up by Gov. Huey P. Long in the 1920's to care for widows and dependents of Civil War and WW1 veterans (which became the idea for the VA. system), and later extended to free care for all poor Louisiana citizens.  Now, because of no Medicaid expansion, may citizens of the state find themselves fallen into the cracks, with part-time jobs and no income to buy federal mandated insurance. Once empty emergency rooms are now crowded.

I have met our Governor Bobby, and also read his book. He is indeed a very smart man, and comes across as a committed "Compassionate Conservative".  It's just unfortunate he doesn't see fit to practice it in his own state.

Oh Yeah, Here's Ya a Really Great Idea From Hillary

Ma to Call for at Least 20 days of Early Voting Nationwide

I'm shocked I tell ya.  Ma Clinton is calling for another opportunity to expand democrat election fraud in national elections. But with the success in 2012, this announcement shouldn't really be a surprise to anyone......

"Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton plans to call for an early voting period of at least 20 days in every state.
Clinton will call for that standard in remarks Thursday in Texas about voting rights, her campaign said. She will also criticize what her campaign calls deliberate restrictions on voting in several states, including Texas.
The former secretary of state's address at historically-black Texas Southern University in Houston comes as Democrats pursue legal challenges to voting rule changes approved by Republican legislatures in several states. Clinton and her allies claim the changes are aimed at narrowing the electorate in ways that benefit Republicans.
“This is, I think, a moment when we should be expanding the franchise,” Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta said in an interview. “What we see in state after state is this effort by conservatives to restrict the right to vote.”
The legal effort began late last month with lawsuits in Wisconsin and Ohio, both presidential battleground states." - READ MORE
National Elections should have one standard in all states. Democrats have succeeded, through state controlled legislatures, in every underhanded way to gain an advantage through loosening requirements, questionable voter registration schemes, multiple voting and fighting anything that is proposed to remedy the scourge of voter fraud.  It is their lifeline in a country with over 20 million residents who are not citizens and not by law eligible to vote legally.

In the case of fair elections, we could learn a thing or two from some of our European cousins.....in some countries voter registration is required to be IN PERSON, and Absentee ballots are allowed only for UNAVOIDABLE TRAVEL REASONS and HEALTH REASONS (such as confined to bed for medical reasons or hospital stays) and voting requires proper identification.

Two day in person voting, Saturday and Sunday, would remedy many problems with US national elections and help cancel out fraudulent  influences like deceased voters who sometime swing important voter districts.  Just Sayin'.

ISIS Claims Bird Genitals Offensive to Allah

The sight of uncovered pigeons flying
overhead is offensive to God

Which just proves how twisted and fraudulent is a religion who's creator of all living things could take offense at it's own creation....

Daily Mail
Senior clerics fighting for the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq have issued a diktat banning pigeon breeding as they claim the sight of the birds' genitals as they fly overhead is offensive to Islam. Jihadis operating in the group's 'Euphrates province', which stretches from Anbar in Iraq to Dier ez Zour in Syria, told pigeon breeders they had one week to stop the practice or face public flogging.
ISIS calls on its network of spies and terrified informers to ensure that those who ignore the ban suffer harsh punishments - demanding locals report anybody who continues to reveal their pigeons' genitals to the local religious police, known as the Hisbah.
It is likely that those who flout the ban as a one-off will be publicly flogged and fined a substantial sum. Repeat offenders face being jailed in one of ISIS' notorious prison cells.
The announcement isn't the first time ISIS has targeted the apparently blasphemous practice of pigeon breeding - a popular pastime in the Middle East. Earlier this year it was claimed that 15 boys had been arrested and at least three of them executed by ISIS militants in Iraq's eastern Diyala governate after fighters took exception to their pigeon breeding hobby on the grounds that it stopped them spending their time worshiping Allah.

MoveOn.org Abandons Senator Lizzy.

Now that everyone's favorite avowed socialist Bernie Sanders is in the race for the democrat nomination for Prezzy, there seems to be no need for two Communist populist progressives with bad hairdos to share the stage of presidential campaign  history.

Attendance at "Run Warren Run" events has dwindled from the teens to the single digits as the last vestiges of hippiedom turn their Rascal scooters towards the bright light of Bernie.

Warren's committed cadre of lily-white liberal Democrats who consider themselves experts on knowing how poor people should run their lives have found a new king to serve, and one that is already doing the dirty work of moving Hillary Clinton back to her leftward roots with talk of hunger-inducing deodorant and expensive trainers.
"Six months after launching “Run Warren Run,” a quixotic campaign to draft Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren into the 2016 presidential race, the two progressive organizations behind it will call it quits and focus more broadly on a populist agenda in the 2016 presidential race, according to a spokesman.
Democracy for America and MoveOn.org together spent $1.25 million dollars launching the campaign last December and collect a petition with 365,000 signatures asking the senator to run....." Read More
This was, unfortunately, inevitable. Those 365,000 signatories are likely the only people in America who considered Elizabeth Warren a viable candidate. And while there were plenty of attendees willing to share crudite over Marx & Engels, there was never any guarantee that any of them would live to see 2016.

The last, best hope of Elizabeth Warren's promoters was that the Social Security Administration would miss the sudden demise from old age of many of her most ardent supporters and send their progressive children their absentee ballots anyway.

Even TIME admits that the movement was lead mostly by "blind optimism" , but it was still a movement. A slow-moving one .......perhaps a water aerobics type movement, maybe. Definitely one powered by electric wheelchairs and Ensure.

Well, Someone Had to Do IT.....

Hillary Clinton Responses to Carly Fiorina's Criticisms

The FCC To Jack Boot Into America's Newsrooms

The FCC has a new plan to place the government into U.S. newsrooms, supposedly for the purpose of learning all about how editorial decisions are made and look for "angry reporters whose story ideas were rejected as evidence of a shutout of minority views."

Ajit Pai, a commissioner with the Federal Communications Commission, warned last week in a Wall Street Journal op-ed about planned placement of "researchers" into media outlet newsrooms for what's called a "Multi-Market Study of Critical Information Needs":
"The purpose of the CIN, according to the FCC, is to ferret out information from television and radio broadcasters and newspapers about "the process by which stories are selected" and how often stations cover "critical information needs," along with "perceived station bias" and "perceived responsiveness to under-served populations."
"It plans to ask station managers, news directors, journalists, television anchors and on-air reporters to tell the government about their "news philosophy" and how the station ensures that the community gets critical information."
I ask you, just who are these under-served populations?

"We're from the government....we're just here to help"

IBD- Pai warned that under the rationale of increasing minority representation in newsrooms, the FCC, which has the power to issue or not issue broadcasting licenses, would dispatch its "researchers" to newsrooms across America to seek their "voluntary" compliance about how news stories are decided, as well as "wade into office politics" looking for angry reporters whose story ideas were rejected as evidence of a shutout of minority views.
Pai questioned if such a study could really be voluntary, given FCC's conflict of interest (and, he might have added, the Obama record of going after political opponents).
It's an idea so fraught with potential for abuse it ought to have news agencies screaming bloody murder. The very idea of Obama hipsters showing up in newsrooms, asking questions and judging if newspapers (over which they have no jurisdiction), radio and TV are sufficiently diverse is nothing short of thought control.
Reporters Without Borders said the U.S. had "one of the most significant declines" in press freedom in the world last year, dropping 13 places to a wretched 46th in its newly released global ranking. If the FCC has its way, it can drop even further."
This is not the first, but the second time in recent memory Commissioner of the FCC Ajit Pai  has warned America of the Obama administrations overreaching regulatory intentions. First, Net Neutrality, and now Overseers of  Truth and Fairness in reporting.

And again, who could this under-served population be? Perhaps some people in high places believe there is not enough positive news of rioters, of illegal immigrants or maybe our Islamic friends?

A Good Monday Morning
