Is Donald Trump the New Ronald Reagan.......With More Money and Less Class?

A lot has been said by die-hard Trump fans about the parallels to him and Ronald Reagan.  Let's see, Trump was a trust fund baby, never struggled in life. As far as I know, Reagan never screwed the stock holders of bank stocks out of millions to advance his personal fortune, and Reagan's political evolution was slow, carefully thought out and because of deep seeded beliefs. Reagan never made a point in public to criticize his party or insult his parties candidates, and spoke about opponents only in terms of policy. The list of differences goes on and on....

Donald Trump is no Ronald Reagan, and he's not a politician either. But as we all know, good leaders aren't always politicians, and as we have witnessed these last seven years, politicians aren't always good leaders.

As America looks for it's next leader, faced with a job losses and it's industrial base, a growing underclass, racial disharmony and the most uncivilized and barbaric outside threat to the civilized world since the middle ages, what do we see as choices?

On one side is a wing-nut socialist leftover from the sixties, spouting a combination of populism and failed Marxist socialism, and next to him a compulsive liar and criminal with name recognition, and soon maybe the present Court Jester will throw his hair plugs into the ring. On the other end of the spectrum we see a few capable patriotic men and women, who have tired of witnessing our country become something a large portion of the citizenry do not even recognize anymore. Standing tall at the head of this line is Donald Trump.

AND DONALD TRUMP SCARES THE BEJEESUS OUT OF THE LEFT. But Trump has a personal habit that may not endear him with some on the Right, and voters in general. Trump has a way of shooting his mouth off, then backing away from it saying that's not what he meant. Are we to believe he really means what he says? Case in point:
"Bleeding from you know what" ....and.... “Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?  I mean, she’s a woman, and I’m not suppose say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?”
And in the new Rolling Stone interview published today, Trump makes this comment about his own daughter:
"Yeah, she’s really something, and what a beauty, that one. If I weren't happily married and, ya know, her father…"
The Donald has already weaseled out of the 'Bleeding from you know what ' comment, and is  Trumping back the comment, he made about Carly Fiorina , insisting that he was “talking about persona, I’m not talking about looks,” but admitting that yeah, he probably did “say something about Carly, in a jocular manner.” Besides, if anyone gets upset about this, it proves Donald Trump is the victim of a double standard:
"I say that about a lot of people – ‘look at that! That’s not going to be the president? When I get criticized constantly about my hair, nobody does a story about, ‘oh, isn’t that terrible, they criticized Donald Trump’s hair...."
I'll say this much, Ronald Reagan never made excuses for his words or leering jokes about women and how he’d have loved to do his daughter. But then, Trump is much meaner. A Reagan for a much meaner, dumbed-down America, (thank you teacher's union).

That said, wasn't the very idea of Ronald Reagan becoming president only slightly less laughable in 1979 than the idea of President Donald Trump seems today? After spending 10 days following Trump around and trying (and only occasionally succeeding) to get a straight answer from him about anything, Rolling Stone Author Solotaroff concludes:
"What I saw was enough to make me take him dead serious. If you’re waiting for Trump to blow himself up in a Hindenburg of gaffes or hate speech, you’re in for a long, cold fall and winter."

Lindsay Graham: "We Need To Accept More Muslim Refugees"

DC - As Europe struggles to handle close to 120,000 migrants from the Middle East and Africa fleeing high-conflict zones, presidential hopeful Sen. Lindsay Rhino Graham is calling for Congress to release emergency funding and take in refugees.
The South Carolina Republican, who serves as the chairman of the Appropriations Subcommittee on State and Foreign Operations, said if the U.S. doesn’t increase the number of refugees accepted, it should “take the Statue of Liberty and tear it down … because we don’t mean it anymore,” Roll Call reports.
Yeah Lindsay, just what we need. Possible future terrorist sympathizers settling in America mooching off the taxpayers and stirring the pot. One minute you're a war hawk wanting to crush the barbarians, the next you're calling to let them infiltrate the gates in the guise of refugees. Do you not see the disrespect these mostly young, male "refugees" are showing the Europeans right now????
The New York Times reports the Obama administration is considering increasing the amount of Syrian refugees admitted into the country from 1,500 to around 100,000. Department of State spokesman John Kirby said it is possible some of the refugees could be associated with terrorist organizations.

Well, We All Know Where This Is Going......

Progtards Today
Stephen Colbert’s first night on the Late Show proved he’s still every bit the left wing hack he was on Comedy Central. He spent almost six solid minutes bashing Donald Trump but didn’t do a single joke about Hillary Clinton’s email scandal.
In the course of his anti-Trump routine, he even put Donald Trump’s face on screen with an image of the KKK. Like all good little liberals, Colbert fails to acknowledge that the KKK was created by Democrats.
All the hype is over. All the fanboys in the media gone. The first Late Show with Stephen Colbert is in the books. And the final grade is?
Incomplete.

One Muslim Refugee's Message to His New European Caretakers.......

While Europe believes they're doing good for humanity and welcoming boatloads of refugees from the Middle East, one Muslim man who just got off the train from Syria to arrive in his European land of promise (Budapest, Hungary), did one thing before leaving the station that tells the welcoming community all they need to know about what some refugees’ intentions really are.  While a Hungarian reporter was broadcasting live from a trashed facility where hordes of muslims  had just passed through, standing in front of a massive litter of migrants clothes and personal belongings left strewn about the train station, a refugee sends a clear message.

I will be so good at the military, your head will spin!

None other than the fish wrap of choice,  The New York Times informs us that in interviews for an upcoming biography,  Donald Trump told author Michael D’Antonio that because his parents shipped him off to a military boarding school, he “always felt that he was in the military.” And really, who would know better than Donald Trump what being in the pretend military is like?  Mr. Trump said that his experience at the New York Military Academy, an expensive prep school where his parents had sent him to correct poor behavior, gave him “more training militarily than a lot of the guys that go into the military.”

Trump attended the military school from eighth grade through high school, starting in 1959.  His parents sent him there after he’d gotten into too much trouble at his previous boarding school, where, he gave a teacher a black eye “because I didn’t think he knew anything about music.” You don’t go around disagreeing with little Donald.

At New York Military Academy, Trump got a real sense of what the military is all about:
"He wore a uniform, participated in marching drills and was expected to conform to a hierarchy imposed by instructors, some of whom had served in the military.
Despite sitting out Vietnam because of deferments followed by a high draft lottery number of 356 out of 366, Mr. Trump said that he endured the rigors of real military life.
“My number was so incredible and it was a very high draft number. Anyway so I never had to do that, but I felt that I was in the military in the true sense because I dealt with those people,” he told Mr. D’Antonio."
We also learn that Trump sat down with the author for six hours of interviews for the bio, but abruptly terminated his cooperation “after Mr. Trump learned that Mr. D’Antonio had spoken with a longtime Trump enemy”, which hardly narrows down the field of people that could have been. If consistency counts for anything, we at least learn that even in his youth, Trump was already working hard at being an asshole:

"Mr. Trump’s preoccupation with winning — at anything and everything, big or small — dominated his youth. His mentor at the New York Military Academy, Theodore Dobias, called Mr. Trump “a conniver, even then.”
Now we finally know why Donald Trump never cared much for war guys who got captured: When he was in the military, he never got captured, so why should he think all that much of guys who were? Now, you might think that Donald Trump, who got a bunch of draft deferments has never been in the military.  But he feels like he’s military, because his parents sent him to military school, so shut up already.

Obama’s Labor Day Diatribe Just More Economic BS

I wish I could say that I’m surprised with President Obama’s Labor Day diatribe but I’d be lying if I said that. If people haven’t noticed by now, 2 of President Obama’s dominant character traits are his love of NBA-style trash-talking and his inability to resist bragging up his pathetic economic policies. Simply put, he’s a legend in his own mind. He’s also a confirmed liar.

Part of the freshest proof that he’s a confirmed liar is when he said “The fact is the verdict is in: Middle-class economics works.” Mr. President, that isn’t a fact. That’s an opinion. Actually, it’s an opinion that’s shared only within the farthest left part of the Democratic Party. Vice President Biden doesn’t even believe that. Mr. President, if  your “middle class economics” is working, why did your Vice President say that “the U.S. economy” was “devastating for workers”? Mr. President, if your “middle-class economics” work, why are the U.S. economic policies you’ve put in place producing the most anemic ‘sustained’ economic growth since the Great Depression?

This part of President Obama’s speech is exceptionally ironic:
"Unfortunately, there are some folks in Washington and some folks who are trying to get to Washington who don’t want to face these facts … in their world, the only way to help the country grow and help the country get ahead is to cut taxes for millionaires and billionaires."
"And then you just wait....you look up at the sky and prosperity will come raining down on us from whatever high rise is in your city. But that’s not how the economy works. These folks are pretty stubborn. I will give them credit. They don’t let facts or evidence get in the way."
Mr. President, why do you insist that your opponents “don’t let facts or evidence get in the way” of their economic arguments when it’s you that has ignored anemic GDP statistics and things like the Workforce Participation Rate, which is at its lowest rate in 38 years? If  your “middle-class economics” works, why are 94,000,000 people who normally would be in the workforce not looking for work?

The truth is that President Obama’s policies are failed policies. It’s time to stop this disaster. It’s time to implement pro-growth economic policies. It’s time to roll back 90% of the Obama administration’s job-killing regulations.

Obama still hasn’t admitted that you can’t be for a strong middle class and anti-job creators at the same time.

Obama's Future Military Commanders Wounded in Fierce Pillow-Fight Battle

Army Launches an Official WTF Investigation

WaPo
The U.S. Army has launched an investigation after a pillow fight among students at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., led to injuries ranging from broken bones to concussions.
30 cadets were diagnosed with concussions, and other injuries included broken noses, a dislocated shoulder and a hairline fracture to the cheekbone of one of the concussed cadets, Army officials said in a statement released Saturday.
“While these spirit events do occur, we never condone any activity that results in intentional harm to a teammate. Although the vast majority of the class appears to have maintained the spirit of the event; it is apparent that a few did not. A military police investigation that began the night of the incident is ongoing. I assure you that the chain of command will take appropriate action when the investigation is complete.”
“We remain committed to the development of leaders of character. We will continue our investigation, ensure accountability, and reinforce with the Corps that we must all take care of our teammates.”
The violence, first reported by The New York Times Saturday, raises questions about a longtime tradition at the prestigious academy, which trains U.S. military officers. Several students placed helmets in their pillowcases, effectively weaponizing them.
In light of these developments, the Obama administration may just have to re-think their pillow fight type strategy they have employed against the knife happy armies of the religion of peace.
