Bullet Head Calls for Emergency Hearings

DT - When it comes to President Trump it doesn’t take much to set off members of the Congressional Black Caucus. The gaggle of African American lawmakers have been quick to scream racism at every opportunity for years and have been particularly agitated with Trump who they perceive as not only a closet member of the KKK but also a secret Russian agent.

Perhaps none have been so vehemently anti-Trump (outside of the cretinous Maxine Waters) than Elijah Cummings of Baltimore who has lorded it over his gerrymandered district like a fat toad for over twenty years. Cummings has always had a wild hair up his ass over the delusional Democrats’ big excuse for losing the election by blaming it all on Russian interference and was an early advocate of an FBI investigation of Trump and his to the Kremlin. Of course it’s all bullshit – so much was expressed in the new book on Hillary’s doomed campaign “Shattered” – but it is all that the Democrats have got.

Trump’s surprise firing of self-serving FBI Director James Comey has driven the left even crazier than before and has elicited howls of anger in defense of a man who was just blamed by Hillary last week for costing her the election. Cummings and his fellow race trolls are also a pack of hypocrites. They wail about voter rights and disenfranchised voters but their insane vendetta and determination to have Trump removed from office would do exactly that to over 60 million voters.

This Russian hoax crap is really starting to get out of hand and is already on the brink of widespread mass hysteria among those who are dumb enough to listen to the likes of Rachel Maddow and the rest of the dishonest propagandists in the media who were unified in their support for Hillary and are in lockstep to evict Trump from the White House.

While the FBI was investigating Bill Clinton for the White Water corruption sandal, Clinton fired the FBI Director.  The media took the President's actions at face value. They did not question him. In fact, conservatives who raised red flags were dismissed. Today, we get to see what happens when a Republican does what Bill Clinton did. The reality is that many of those most critical of Trumps firing Comey were the same people demanding Comey be fired for his handling of Hillary Clinton's emails. 

We have a hyper-partisan environment in which all sides too easily and too quickly abandon intellectual honesty. It is notable that Lindsey Graham and Susan Collins, two of the GOP's most strident critics of Donald Trump, are okay with this firing.

It is not a constitutional crisis, nor is it a dark day for democracy. It is a President exercising his constitutional duties on the advice of his cabinet ministers. The timing is bothersome and may look bad, but the underlying rationale suggests the decision was made thoughtfully. However, the left will never believe President Trump nor believe anything other than the worst possible conspiracies about him. Russiaism is the new Birtherism.

ACLU Lawyer Admits Trump's Travel Ban ‘Could Be Constitutional’ if Enacted by Hillary Clinton

Monday, while the media zeroed in on the Sally Yates/James Clapper testimony before Senate Judiciary’s Subcommittee and their own elation over the French election results, quietly the first appeal hearing of the Trump's blocked travel ban began arguments in the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals in Virginia. During questioning an ACLU attorney arguing against the ban showed how politicized and a sham our judicial system has become in the hands of democrat appointed judicial activist on the bench following their own version of Blind Justice....... 

NKT - ACLU Lawyer Omar Jadwat, arguing against President Trump’s travel ban before the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals on Monday, admitted that the same exact travel ban “could be” constitutional if it were enacted by Hillary Clinton.

Jadwat argued that Trump’s campaign animus motivated the order, making it illegitimate. This claim was challenged by the Fourth Circuit’s Judge Paul Niemeyer.

“If a different candidate had won the election and then issued this order, I gather you wouldn’t have any problem with that?”

Jadwat dodged on directly answering the question at first, but Niemeyer persisted. Jadwat again tried to avoid the question, asking for clarification on the hypothetical, but Niemeyer once again demanded an answer.

“We have a candidate who won the presidency, some candidate other than President Trump won the presidency and then chose to issue this particular order, with whatever counsel they took. Do I understand that just in that circumstance, the executive order should be honored?”

Jadwat admitted:

“Yes, your honor, I think in that case, it could be constitutional.” - Video  

Jadwat also denied that presidents’ actions should be nullified by campaign statements, despite the fact that his entire argument seemed to rest on that claim. He also tried to claim that the order was illegitimate due to its being “unprecedented,” but this point also crumbled under a quick cross-examination.

Unprecedented? Amazingly enough, the ACLU still repeats that lie in court.  A quick key word search for "President" in the US Code brings you to the section pertaining to the legality of the executive order.  And take note that nowhere does it say "Except Donald Trump"........

8 USC 1182-Section 10: Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by President

(f) "Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or non-immigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate. Whenever the Attorney General finds that a commercial airline has failed to comply with regulations of the Attorney General relating to requirements of airlines for the detection of fraudulent documents used by passengers traveling to the United States (including the training of personnel in such detection), the Attorney General may suspend the entry of some or all aliens transported to the United States by such airline."

In Repealing Obamacare, One Must Not Overlook The Plight of Celebrities

Last week the more sensible members of the House of Representatives all voted to start replacing ObamaCare with something that sucks much less. Liberals have of course lost their ever-loving minds claiming that providing more affordable health care "will kill millions of Americans."  Liberal celebrities, not to be outdone, are getting in on the hysteria.  Like Cher and Alyssa Milano, who are exceedingly wealthy and can afford top-notch health insurance, want you to believe that the ObamaCare repeal is going to devastate them. 

If you want to grab a tissue before you read the rest of this, I’ll wait..........

First we have former child actor and b-lister Alyssa Milano, who last time I remember seeing her she was trolling for money on television to feed people who live out in the middle of the desert who are too stupid to go where the food is, and also seem to remember seeing her selling Earth Friendly Drain Cleaner or Bottled Unicorn Farts or something on The Home Shopping Network.  She sent out this bizarre tweet with a video which is designed to jerk your chain and make you think that she will now be uninsurable.

So she is a nervous wreck, has zits, is experiencing 2 simultaneous pregnancies and is in the process of receiving two c-sections. I have to say, all things considered, she looks pretty good seeing she suffers of the scourge of a serious health problem like acne!  I’m guessing that maybe she would like to go back and reword that tweet.  Medical procedures she had in the past are not pre-existing conditions. But she did miss one; from the video she clearly suffers from "Bad White Girl Dancing Syndrome." 

I would say to Alyssa that she shouldn’t worry. As a member of the Screen Actors Guild, she has excellent Gold Plated Medical Coverage. She making a killing off syndication of old TV series and is rich as hell, and could easily afford the deductible from even my health plan, which I pay for myself BTW.  And I'm sure lil' Alyssa's financial adviser has her in some good Pharmaceutical stocks and long term Fossil Fuel investments to help out a little around the house like many Hollywood Hypocrites celebrities do.  

Next we go to the La La Land of Cher for one of the most insane tweets you will ever see:

Personally, I think the better half of Sonny and Cher checked out to early, but I digress....

Due to her psychosis and gratuitous use of emojis, I’m not real certain what she’s trying to say here.  Cher has asthma but also has health insurance, which covers that. The ObamaCare repeal will not change that fact, but for some reason she thinks suddenly there will be no money for asthma, whatever that means.  To make matters worse, there will be no money for asthma for a multi-cultural group of happy children. Finally, no asthma money means no money for domestic abuse victims and that’s also bad because “battered women” is a pre-existing condition. (?)  I would say that maybe she should have split this thought into multiple tweets to help it make a little more sense, but I doubt that it would have. 

And again, Cher needs to relax and understand that as a wealthy Hollywood elite type person, she can afford the best care possible. If she wasn’t such a liberal lunatic, maybe she could even wrap her head around the fact that ObamaCare made health care too expensive for a lot working people to afford and now that it’s gone the peasants too will be able to seek treatment for medical problems. 

This women is filty rich, even after losing tons of money on her last two or three 'Farewell Tours" that failed miserably after degenerating into big Drag Queen Carnivals, and all the money she blew on Plastic Surgery and that confused freak she gave birth to.  

What you have here is a perfect example of the liberal bubble that celebrities live in. Both Cher and Alyssa Milano are trying desperately to make you think they have the same problems as you. They don’t. Their problems are more related to which designer dress they should wear for a premier or how to hide their income so they don’t have to pay taxes on it.

Since we already live in a world where we can barely order a margarita without being branded a cultural appropriator, imagining the next step for this generation of undergraduate Robespierres is not easy. The Revolution, as they say, eats its own. These days the grievance culture desperately wants to prove itself right. (If they're not, they'd have a basketful of brutal self-examination to do.) The extent they will go to justify their beliefs is as yet uncharted waters.

For now, there's no question they are manufacturing racism—their own and that of others—to prove it exists. And they have plenty of allies in faculties and administrations as far back as grammar school. The government helps out, too, with its Title IX encouraging a seemingly unlimited potpourri of victimhood complaints while linking honoring those accusations inextricably to taxpayer subsidies of the institutions themselves.

Although I am now only a distant observer, going to college these days doesn't seem like fun—for anyone. (I've said it before—Animal House has turned into Animal Farm.) Nor does it seem particularly intellectually stimulating. A minority of virtue-signaling provocateurs is ruining it for everyone else and ultimately for themselves as well.But as we all know, separation by sexual, racial, religious and ethnic tribes—what else can we call them, really—has been proceeding apace for some years now. Santa Cruz is only the latest stop along the way in this burgeoning segregationist New Tribalism.

"Black and white together, we shall not be moved"—no more. Not on our college campuses anyway. Many explanations might be given for this reactionary development—masquerading, as always, as some jejune hodgepodge of progressivism cum anti-colonialism—but more important and immediate is where this is taking us. The short form is: to Hell.
