Dear Ex-Friends in #TheResistance

It's been a long time since we've talked. I think the last civil conversations we had occurred just days before November 8, 2016. You were supremely confident Hillary Clinton would win the presidential election; you voted for her with glee. Me, I bit down hard and cast my vote for Donald Trump. Then the unimaginable happened. He won.

And you lost your freaking minds.

I knew you would take the loss hard since all of you were super jacked-up to elect the first woman president. But I did not imagine you would become totally deranged, attacking anyone who voted for Trump or supported his presidency as a racist, sexist, misogynistic, homophobic Nazi-sympathizer.

The weirdness started on social media late on Election Night, as it became clear Hillary was going to lose. A few of you actually admitted that you were cradling your sleeping children, weeping, wondering what to tell your kindergartner the next morning about Trump’s victory. It continued over the next several days. Some of you seriously expressed fear about modern-day concentration camps. Despite living a privileged lifestyle, you were suddenly a casualty of the white patriarchy. Your daughters were future victims; your sons were predators-in-waiting. You threatened to leave Facebook because you could no longer enjoy the family photos or vacation posts from people who, once friends, became Literal Hitlers to you on November 8 because they voted for Donald Trump.

The attacks against us Trump voters were so personal and so vicious that I did not think it could be sustained. I thought maybe you would regain your sanity after some turkey and egg nog. But you did not. You got worse. And I went from sad to angry to where I am today: Amused.

As the whole charade you have been suckered into over the last 18 months starts to fall apart—that Trump would not survive his presidency; he would be betrayed by his own staff, family, and/or political party; he would be declared mentally ill and removed from office; he would be handcuffed and dragged out of the White House by Robert Mueller for “colluding” with Russia—let me remind you what complete fools you have made of yourselves. Not to mention how you’ve been fooled by the media, the Democratic Party, and your new heroes on the NeverTrump Right.

On November 9, you awoke from a self-induced, eight-year-long political coma to find that White House press secretaries shade the truth and top presidential advisors run political cover for their boss. You were shocked to discover that presidents exaggerate, even lie, on occasion. You became interested for the first time about the travel accommodations, office expenses, and lobbyist pals of administration officials. You started counting how many rounds of golf the president played. You suddenly thought it was fine to mock the first lady now that she wasn’t Michelle Obama. Once you removed your pussy hat after attending the Women’s March, you made fun of Kellyanne Conway’s hair, Sarah Sanders’ weight, Melania Trump’s shoes, Hope Hicks’ death stare; you helped fuel a rumor started by a bottom-feeding author that U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley slept with Donald Trump. You thought it was A-OK that Betsy DeVos was nearly physically assaulted and routinely heckled. You glorified a woman who has sex on camera for a paycheck.

You have learned all kinds of new things that those of us who didn’t willfully ignore politics for the past eight years already knew. For example, we already knew that illegal immigrants were being deported and families were being separated. We already knew about misconduct at the Environmental Protection Agency. We already knew that politicians gerrymander congressional districts for favorable election outcomes. We already knew that citizens from certain countries had restricted access here.

Some of your behavior has been kinda cute. It was endearing to watch you become experts on the Logan Act, the Hatch Act, the Second Amendment, the 25th Amendment, and the Emoluments Clause. You developed a new crush on Mitt Romney after calling him a “sexist” for having “binders full of women.” You longed for a redux of the presidency of George W. Bush, a man you once wanted imprisoned for war crimes. Ditto for John McCain. You embraced people like Bill Kristol and David Frum without knowing anything about their histories of shotgunning the Iraq War.

But your newfound admiration and fealty to law enforcement really has been a fascinating transformation. Remember how you fanboyed a mediocre quarterback for wearing socks that depicted cops as pigs? But now you sound like paid spokesmen for the Fraternal Order of Police. You insist that any legitimate criticism of the misconduct and possible criminality that occurred at the Justice Department and FBI is an “attack on law enforcement.”

Your daily meltdowns about Trump-Russia election collusion have been the most entertaining to observe. You quickly swallowed any chum tossed at you by the Trump-hating media on MSNBC, the New York Times and the Washington Post about who was going down next, or who would flip on the president.

For the past year, I have watched you obsess over a rotating cast of characters: Paul Manafort, Donald Trump, Jr., Jared Kushner, Carter Page, Reince Priebus, Jeff Sessions, Michael Flynn, Steve Bannon, Sam Nunberg, and Hope Hicks are just a few of the people you thought would turn on Trump or hasten his political demise. But when those fantasies didn’t come true, you turned to Michael Avenatti and Stormy Daniels for hope and inspiration. It will always be your low point.

Well, I think it will be. Each time I believe you’ve hit bottom, you come up with a new baseline. Perhaps defending the unprecedented use of federal power to spy on political foes then lie about it will the next nail in your credibility coffin.

The next several weeks will be tough for you. I think Americans will learn some very hard truths about what happened in the previous administration and how we purposely have been misled by powerful leaders and the news media. I wish I could see you as a victim here, but you are not. I know you are smart; you chose to support this insurgency with your eyes wide open.

Now, I shall sit back and enjoy your pain.

Liberal Activist and Her Dreams of Nuremberg Style Trials for Treasonous Trump Supporters

Some on the the left have long since demonstrated they have degenerated into sounding like bipolar hate filled habitual verbal masturbating spoiled children who don't really believe in individual thought, free speech or equality. They reinforce that image every day by exercising a *"hierarchy of victimhood where truth is ascertained by degrees of gender and skin color."

One such person is an author, liberal activist and tweeter blue check elite with her very own Wikipedia page (that means somewhere she's a very important person) who warned in a couple of truly demented tweets Monday that Donald Trump and numbers of his of treasonous public supporters will one day meet their day of reckoning, and “face trial and end up in prison.”

Her Wikipedia page describes her as president of some far-left 501(c)(4) called The New Agenda that's “dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls by bringing about systemic change in the media, at the workplace, at school and at home.”  Translated: she's a loony feminist who gets up every morning and sets her hair on fire and starts railing about toxic masculinity, white supremacy and Trump is the devil. She's hate filled blind to the man responsible for American women experiencing “rapid economic growth” and a drop in unemployment this past year. He’s also the same man whose former female employees labeled him a veritable champion of women.  

This woman lives in a twisted fantasy world fabricated by her Trump Derangement Syndrome-afflicted mind. She also has a very slight grip on reality as this jewel of a tweet shows:

Like most on the left who throw this word Nazi around, they really should educate themselves. I highly suggest they read William Shirer's first hand account 'Berlin Diary' 1934-41 and see for themselves just who in this country are actually acting like brownshirts, and are the real danger to our entire Republic.

Yes Ms. Siskind, many will indeed be remembered unkindly decades from now, but I doubt it will  be the president or his supporters. It's more likely to be people like you and the legions of left-wing hypocrites, cultural bullies and hate-mongers who hide behind duplicitous chants of tolerance and acceptance as they spew bile and venom at anyone who dares think (let alone vote) against them!

The End of Racism In The High Calorie Wi-Fi Infused Supercharged Caffeine Universe

If Starbucks truly wanted to address its 'perceived' racial bias problem, there are a few approaches it could have taken. And they have nothing to do with corporate anti-bias trainings. People respond negatively to being forced to go and to being told that the reason they need to promote and to advance diversity is because they're required to. Hey Starbucks, try making a cup of coffee that doesn't taste like the runoff after a house fire. Start there, and maybe then work your way up to trying to transforming the nature of modern society.

Only The Best in Reporting. You Know Facts Matter or Something Like That.......

Expecting honesty from our virtuous, ever important media (if you don’t have CNN constantly misleading you, are you truly free?) is about like expecting your favorite pet to use you restroom, flush, and spray air freshener on their way out the door. It’s just not going to happen.

And what we have here now is yet another example of false media hysteria and surprise surprise, the “mistake” goes in only one direction yet again. Funny how that always happens.

If you you’ve been conscious at all in the last 48 hours, (I know that may have been difficult for some) you’ve probably been privy to media members intentionally misleading the public by sharing old detention center photos circa 2014 with claims of caged children, and what the tweeter triggered SJW's were calling prison buses for babies from 2016, along with other photos from Obama era immigration policies. This was done purposely to falsely blame Trump and paint him as an inhumane monster and to flush the news cycle. (enough about dead soldiers and freedom and stuff....)

One story that’s made the rounds is a bogus report that DHS “lost” track of 1,500 minors who crossed the border illegally". Did the government lose 1,500 kids and were they ripped from their mother’s arms? In short, no. No they did not and no they weren’t. As with all things mainstream media, the headline is extremely misleading. Despite the body of the article providing a little more context (while still missing some key framing so as to make the Trump administration seem as sinister as possible), that didn’t stop the blue check mark brigade on the tweeter from losing their freakin' minds.

What essentially happened is that the government gave these kids to sponsors, most of which would be family members already in the United States. Of those 8,000 or so children, about 1,500 did not respond (via their caregivers) to survey calls to check up on them. Why? Likely because they decided to avoid immigration authorities all together in order to fall off the radar. They are not lost. They are not misplaced. Nothing bad has happened to them (at least within CPB’s control). Secondly, none of these children were ripped from their mother’s arms. They were unaccompanied when detained for crossing the border.

The amount of false conflation going on with these immigration stories in the last two days is breathtakingly stupid. DHS and ICE are doing their best in an extremely tough situation. They have to balance all the factors related to illegals after they get here while also not incentivizing future crossings. The rush to demonize them is out of line. I’d like to say the media dutifully misleading the public in order to gin up fake narratives is isolated to this case, but it’s not.

This weekend, the school children of Waregem and nearby Mons will turn Flanders Cemetery into a sea of color; of Red poppy flowers and American and Belgian Flags, just as they have done for more than 90 years. On the door to the Flanders Field Chapel are written but three words: "Lest We Forget".  

We need not forget as well.......

Starbucks' '5/29' to End Racism Next Week

PJM - Starbucks is actually branding their much anticipated upcoming employee racial sensitivity indoctrination event as "5/29." They're not calling it "Don't Be a Racist Day" or whatever. It's just... 5/29. They're 9/11'ing it. Now there'll be pre-5/29 thinking and post-5/29 thinking. It's the day everything changes forever. This is a pivotal moment in human history, brought to you by the Starbucks Corporation. 

Prediction: No Starbucks employee in the entire world will be any more or less racist after this struggle session. Any Starbucks employee who is genuinely bigoted -- whether it's against black people, white people, or any other sort of people -- will continue to be that way. And the other 99% of the staffers will resent being scolded for things they haven't done, and/or grateful for a paid day off to dick around watching videos and talking about their feelings.
