Tell Me Again Why I should Care About #BLM?

It’s well known that in cities like Chicago and Baltimore, people like to spend long weekends blazing away at each other in the streets. Even with extra cops on the beat, they can't  stop the bloodshed.  A recent story in the Chicago Tribune included a handy map showing where the city's shootings happen. The big dots are  multiple victims, and the red dots are fatalities. There are five rather than four red dots, because someone was knifed to death. The article also told us about some of the nice people–including a 14-year-old girl–who were killed.

What it didn’t tell us was who did the shooting. Not one word. Police superintendent Eddie Johnson was sure about one thing, though. He said the weekend was “another example of too many guns on the street.” Too many guns.
“Nearly all the shootings were in the West and South”–those guns seem to congregate in these places. The Tribune added that these very neighborhoods “bore the brunt of shootings during the Memorial Day weekend as well.”
I looked up the Chicago Tribune article about the Memorial Day mayhem and learned that there were 69 shootings and six dead. But again not one word on who, if anyone, is firing those guns. If you go all the way back to January 2 of this year, the Tribune tried to explain the violence in a long piece called, “Chicago Violence, Homicides, and Shootings up in 2015.”

There was lots of information: historical trends in crime rates, comparisons of Chicago with other big cities, a list of neighborhoods that are getting more dangerous, a sad story about a teacher shot in his own driveway, and even a policeman who says some people will shoot you if you insult them on Twitter.

But who’s pulling the triggers on these guns of which there are too many. Not one word. The Tribune tells us where the guns show up. It tells us people are being shot. Until 2010, the Chicago police told us what race the perps were. That year, a black person was 24 times more likely than a white person to be arrested for murder, and 27 times more likely to be arrested for robbery. The figures for Hispanics were seven and four times more likely. If, in 2010, Chicago had been all-white, murder and robbery would have dropped 90 percent. Rape would have dropped by 80 percent.

2010 is the year Rahm Emanuel was elected mayor, and maybe it’s just a coincidence, but the next year, the Chicago PD stopped saying who the perps were. A different report, about murder only, continued to come out until 2011, but then it got snuffed out, too. But when blacks commit murder at 24 times the white rate, the media hushes it up. The papers don’t breathe a word. Somewhere, out there, where their readers never go, it’s just the wild wild West. Instead the newspapers and politicans , and everyone else jabbers about guns and gun violence when the problem is blacks and black violence–and Hispanic violence.

And you expect people to sympathize with your BLM movement when you and your culture teaches your children hate for the police, and time and time again you attack police while temporarily being detained for their own protection, or as a convicted felon are shot while resist arrest and trying to pull an illegal concealed weapon?

Nope. Not me. STOP KILLING EACH OTHER FIRST and abide by the law ........and then get back to me.

And here is your Dallas Hero after the cops got through with him!

FBI Issues Warning Of Violence Against Louisiana Law Enforcement This Weekend

Judicial Watch:
The FBI issued an alert to Louisiana law enforcement agencies warning of violence against officers and planned riots in the aftermath of this week’s high-profile fatal shooting of a black man by Baton Rouge Police. Judicial Watch obtained a copy of the situational information report, which was distributed to police and sheriff departments in Bossier & Caddo Parishes and East Baton Rouge as well as Louisiana State Police.
Titled “Violence Against Law Enforcement Officers and Riots Planned for 8-10 July 2016,” the alert warns that “multiple groups are calling for or planning riots and/or violence against law enforcement in Baton Rouge and Shreveport, Louisiana beginning Friday July 8 2016 and continuing through at least July 10, 2016. The document is labeled “FOUO” (For Official Use Only), a term the government uses to mark sensitive information that’s not classified. It was issued by the New Orleans division of the FBI.
The alert is dated July 7 and includes disturbing images from social media, including one depicting a restrained uniformed police officer getting his throat slashed by a masked individual. Other social media images call for purging and killing all cops in Baton Rouge on July 9 and starting a riot by the courthouse in Shreveport that will tear shi_ _ down without killing our own black people.” Calling for unity in the violent protests, one social media post says “it don’t matter what color you are.” Another says “must kill every police!!!!”
A protest by black residents was long planned in downtown Shreveport Saturday to demand the removal a 100 year old Civil War Memorial which sits on property not owned by the city or parish, but is situated within the Caddo Parish Courthouse grounds.

We Used To Institutionalize People Like This.....

America's Trees are Racist!
“Black people also wanted to go out in the woods and eat apples from the trees,  but black people were lynched on the trees. The tree became a big symbol.” Black people are triggered by trees and suffer Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome flashbacks."
The origin of the bizarre racist lynching theory of national parks appears to be Carolyn Finney. Finney was an actress noted for, apparently, little more than an appearance in The Nutt House.

Then she became a cause célèbre for race activists when she was denied tenure by Berkeley’s Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management because her work didn’t meet academic standards. (i.e. she's to crazy even for U.C. Berkeley!) Her supporters blamed racism, rather than her academic shortcomings, and protested vocally.

These days she’s a diversity advisor to the U.S. National Parks Advisory Board. What wasn’t good enough for UC Berkeley is good enough for national parks and your tax money. She is also the author of Black Faces, White Spaces. In it she claims that “oppression and violence" against black people in forests and other green spaces.

Finney cites the work of Joy DeGruy Leary who invented a Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome that she claims black people suffer from. Affected by PTSS, black people experience “fear and mistrust of forests and other green spaces.” According to Finney, the tree is a racist symbol to black people.

Finney also claims that Theodore Roosevelt’s vision of preserving beautiful natural landscapes was rooted in “privilege”. Or as Fearn put it, “Preserving wild places is a white concept, going back to Rome.”

What shall we do about the racist trees? Finney is front and center at the new “inclusion” initiative. In addition to complaining about the racist trees, the inclusion initiative also claimed that national parks alienate Latinos because of the “color of the uniforms that rangers wear.”  According to the 'Hispanic Access Foundation', they look too much like the border patrol. Even though the uniforms are actually completely different. But much like the lack of lynchings at Yellowstone National Park, the truth doesn’t matter here. The accusations are absurd. And yet the payoffs keep coming. And there’s little doubt that this latest “inclusiveness” initiative will also pay off. Our parks will suffer. Our slimiest politicians will prosper.

This is what this is really about -The Obama era has rotted the Federal government with radical figures who are at war with fundamental American concepts and values. They intend to use their power to destroy those concepts and values. Aside from the usual diversity hiring push and buying from minority businesses in the “inclusiveness” proposals, not to mention nonsense about racist trees and scary uniforms, is a move to divert the focus to urban development.

It’s not about racist tree symbolism or uniform colors. It’s about creating positions for people like Carolyn Finney or Mickey Fearn so they can lecture us on how parks are privilege and nature is racist. It’s about finding yet another unlikely target for baseless claims of racism to be milked for money, grants, ads and contracts. Then there’s the flow of money to “community organizations” to engage “culturally diverse communities”. The Obama era has seen the “Sharptoning” of America as the same ugly shakedown scams that were being practiced in New York or Chicago are suddenly national policy. This is the Sharptoning of the National Park Service. It’s happening in every agency and arm of government. We just don’t notice it.

#BLM Ghetto Rats Vow to Shut Down GOP Convention

Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors has announced that "any opportunity we have to shut down a Republican convention, we will."

NB - Appearing on today's Melissa Harris-Perry show on MSNBC, Cullors also blithely spoke of "the murder of Mike Brown" in Ferguson, MO. Neither of the co-guest hosts sitting in for Harris-Perry, Richard Liu and Janet Mock, challenged Cullors' characterization.  This despite the fact that even Eric Holder's Justice Department found no wrongdoing on the part of the police officer who shot Brown.
JANET MOCK: What action do you want to see the candidates take for what the movement is calling for?
PATRISSE CULLORS: I think first off we want candidates to actually call movement leaders sit and have meetings with us, have a conversation with us about what's happened this last year since the murder of Mike Brown.
. . .  And trust and believe that any opportunity we have to shut down a Republican convention, we will. We will make sure that our voices are made loud and clear. And we also want to be clear that the Democratic party isn't off the hook.
