Quite an Interesting Video on Second Inspection

As most news interview go these days, we've all learned that at least half of what we hear isn't true,  and the other half is suspect. But in the case of the short video below, those rules don't apply.  I have never seen a video quite like this one.

It's a NewsBusters clip of MSNBC's  Queball Vishnu substituting for Larry 'Stop That Hammering' O'Donnell on his basement rated sludge fest, 'The Last Word',  interviewing NPR's chia pet, chief WH press agitator Yamiche Alcindor, and associate editor Renee Graham of the once respectable but dead in the water, Boston Globe. On first play my self said WTF did I just hear her say?

What makes this short video remarkable is that not one statement, save the first few words on the percentage of the black population by Alcindor that is only slightly exaggerated and then proceeds to go off the rail, not one statement expressed by either guess is factual.  Go to the google thingy and look for yourself.  Even the negro genius from Boston got the covid numbers wrong.

It's one thing for a paid analyst to spout bullsh*t in line with the newworks biases, that's what they're paid to do. But to watch two people who pretend to play journalist lie on network television like this is a sad commentary of what we've become as a society and sure sign the establishment media as a source of truth of any kind is dead. On the integrity scale the media ranks just below Pimps.

Media Stepped in the Russia Poop Again

They never learn, do they? After three years of pushing the bogus “Trump/Russia collusion” narrative, only to be utterly humiliated when the whole thing was a complete fabrication, the media are far too invested in the idea of DJT as Vladimir Putin’s stooge to resist coming back for more now. That’s why, for the past several days, they’ve been literally wetting their pants about a supposed report that Russia paid a bounty to Afghan assassins to kill Americans – and that Trump knew!

This is like wanting desperately to believe in Bigfoot, only to have everyone you know sit you down and explain as calmly and rationally as they can that there ain’t no Bigfoot. Then, suddenly, you think you spot some strange brown fur out of the corner of your eye, and you think: I knew it! Yet the reason the media’s narrative is quickly falling apart here is that not even they have a consensus about this nonsense. Contrary to what the New York Times, the Washington Post and the AP are trying to tell you, the intelligence community did not consider the notion credible enough to tell the president about it.

Both NBC and CBS have sources that contradict whoever is talking to the Times, the Post and the AP. That means, wonder of wonders, whatever anonymous sources are feeding this stuff to the Times, the Post and the AP are just lying. Does that shock you? It certainly shouldn’t.

There’s a reason it should be a very rare thing for the media to quote anonymous sources. People who aren’t authorized to talk about a given matter are, by definition, betraying someone. This sounds like a classic case of some Deep State apparatchik seeing an opportunity to generate bad press for the president, and knowing full well that the Times, the Post and the AP would be willing and uncritical recipients of the bad information.

And once again, they look like fools. At least this time it took three days instead of three years to find out the whole thing was bogus.

Another Scourge of Systemic Racism - Misspelled Names

The legendary American showman P T Barnum once famously said: "I don't give a damn what you say about me as long as you spell my name right." Which brings us to Tahlea Aualiitia: an alleged journalist and, it seems, attention-seeker who as a victim of our times laments "The last person I had to correct for the misspelling of my name was someone from my own employer."
"I was invited to join a panel on representation in pop culture by the ABC News Channel earlier this month, and because the name super (the strap with my name at the bottom of the screen) was added during production, I wasn’t aware my name was spelled incorrectly until after the interview had finished and I was informed by my family and friends.
Typos happen and I understand how a slip of the finger on the keyboard turned my surname from Aualiitia into Auakiitia."
Ah, like a beer fart through silk, her forgiveness. How refreshing. An apology was forthcoming, too, so I’m sure we’re all ready to move on....
"But while it was the first time I had done a TV interview, it wasn’t the first time I had seen my name spelled wrong in the media."
Scratch that. Incoming.
"Just a month ago, my name was spelled incorrectly by a producer in my own department, the Asia Pacific Newsroom."
Yes, another misspelling of a phonetically unobvious Samoan name. That’s two whole times. A scarring experience, it would seem, one that “can have big impacts among communities that often don’t see themselves reflected in the media.”
"I knew I had to call them out.  It’s no coincidence I’m speaking up about this during the latest wave of the Black Lives Matter movement...."
Ahh...the sweet chirpings of the young and enraged. Just enough understanding to accurately point out the failings of the establishment left but experience anemic and lacking sophistication.
"It’s hard to explain what racism feels like to someone who has never experienced it.  For me, it feels like walking around with a big target hanging around my neck. You don’t know where the next attack — verbal, physical or systemic — might come from, and lived experience means you know it has to do with the colour of your skin."
Systemic name misspelling. It’s a thing now. A racist attack. And when you're on a public platform like national TV or social media, it feels like that target triples in size.  A sense of proportion is not, I fear, Ms Aualiitia’s strong suit.  We’re then informed, pointedly, that some people can be obnoxious on Twitter. Oh My!

As grounds for a drama of racial victimhood, it all seems a little unsteady, not entirely load-bearing. But apparently, we’re to believe that two occasions of an incorrectly spelled name constitute racial oppression - systemic racial oppression - and a basis for public weeping and some kind of corrective activity.

Perhaps she takes inspiration from artist Kira Puru who wrote a clause in her contract stating that her appearance fee doubles if they misspell her name, after two Australian music festivals spelled her name wrong in promotion material in 2018.

Such is the fearlessness of our heroine in her ongoing fight against racial bigotry.
"There are countless times where the POC talent I’ve met have audibly exhaled in relief when they saw that me, a brown woman, was the one interviewing them."
And White People are fragile?

I’ll just leave that there, I think.

Media Now Downplaying BLM Orgy of Destruction

Was there some poll? Did the ratings come in? Did the media realize they beclowned themselves recklessly jumping on numerous hoaxes?  Scanning the front page of NYT and The Washington Post, all the top stories are about Covid19, the big story that the protests had overcome and submerged. But Covid is back with a vengeance.

On the NYT home page, the entire "above the fold" space is devoted to Covid19.  After that, there is one protest-related story,  "How the Philadelphia Police Tear-Gassed Trapped Protesters". On the WaPo home page, the "above the fold" area is full of Covid19 headlines. Then there are a few things about the 2020 elections. Finally, near the bottom, in tiny print, I see "Perspective/Toppling more statues isn’t working when there’s other work to be done."

I really think a big decision was made to stop talking about it! I'm just going to guess: Word got around that the ongoing protests were hurting Democratic Party candidates.

They were waiting anxiously for those right-wing counter-protesters to come in and provide a excuse to shift the blame for the chaos or for the police to get tough and drag the attention back onto them where it was in the early days before the protests had descended into the sewer of radical black activist and their ant-white/anti-america led hate-filled mobs media helped promote.

The mainstream-media ultimately realized that celebrating orgies of destruction and showing protest crowds full of fat white girls yellin' "F**k the Police" wasn't the sort of thing that was going to help their ratings, or their ideological progressive masters they work so hard to shield.

Democrats Suddenly Outraged by Large Crowds Again

You were supposed to stay home. You were supposed to lock your doors, cower in your basement, socially distance, and wait for the coronapocalypse to blow over. The worst thing you could do is be in a crowd. Unless, that is, you were protesting. Protesting trumps everything. If you were thinking about joining peaceful protest, or even a riot, you were encouraged to abandon the safety of your bunker and get out into the streets. Progressives wanted boots on the ground, and the lockdown was suddenly unimportant.

It didn’t matter how many other people were out there. It didn’t matter who was out there or what they were doing. All that mattered was “optics.” Just ask Frau Whitmer, the “Queen of the Quarantine.” Unfortunately, that’s all over. Now that they have planted George Floyd, quarantine reprieve has come to an end. Now, crowds are bad again. What has caused this oh-so-shocking about face? Take a guess…

Apparently, the Kung Flu virus discriminates. Anti-Trump mobs are totally safe. Trump crowds are dangerous carriers of death and disease and will, no doubt, cause the explosive return of the Chinese Death Virus. The hypocrisy is obvious…

So, to review: Republican 1st Amendment expressions bad. They will be called out by your media superiors. Left-wing 1st Amendment expressions, or violent riots good. They will therefore get a pass.

Trump Tries to Kill Press Corps with Chairs, Acosta Pees His Pants at Sight of Soldier, DJT Retreats to Land of The Whites.

See how easy it is ? Just twist a few words and you too can be a journalist with a breaking story.  Just never you mind that there are images & video clips of what really happened that dispute your version. Someone will cover you.

Yesterday was a perfect example, another epic flip-out Friday for the media after a disappointing morning as the job numbers came out and ruined their prepared negative screeds about DJT's flailing economy and failed policies. It took most of the day to find a way to spin the positive numbers.

To no ones surprise, Jim Acosta and PBS' disrespectful yelling dim bulb Yamiche Alcindor were among the triggered White House reporters over the seating at the morning rose garden press conference,  called a "a flagrant violation of CDC guidelines on social distancing and a move that puts reporters at risk for the purpose of turning the press corps into a prop for a so-called ‘press conference." While Alcindor headed over to MSNBC to do her daily "Trump is a racist",  CNN treated the seating arrangement like a crime against humanity, covering it four times on Friday afternoon. Acosta breathless told host Wolf Blitzer that he “was in the Rose Garden and saw the whole thing firsthand.” Blitzer call the incident "Dangerous".

One comenter on the tweeter asked why didn't they just move the damn chairs?? Why, because then it wouldn't be about them, and they would have had to talk about the good job numbers. Oh Hell No!
And later, in Dear Diary moment, Acosta tweets out a picture of a military vehicle in DC:
OMG! He’s eating! He probable had a real gun too! Yo Jimmy, looks like you spilt something on your pant leg there big guy.  Guess he was too triggered to walk up and ask the soldier how he felt to be a pawn in DJT dictatorial hoax of protecting the streets of DC from peaceful monument defacing protesters that attempt to burn down churches.

And not to be outdone, over at CBS, Paula Reid, CBS’s version of one of CNN's Brook Baldwin's epic makeup experiments gone terrible wrong, was uncovering some insipid DJT racism:
Vermont is actually the whitest state in the country and is no coincidence, represented by the whitest person ever, Bernard Sanders. I foolishly wasted my time looking for tweets or articles from CBS accusing Bernie of racism for representing such a white state.

This is what things look like when the liberal media has run out of stupid crap to bitch about. In one single day, they lied about a Trump quote, accused him of trying to kill journalists with chairs, cried about a soldier eating lunch, and accused the President of racism for visiting Maine. This is why nobody trusts these dregs of humanity to deliver the truth and they wonder why their popularity rest somewhere between a rat turd and a root-canal.

Someone Get Jim Acosta Some Burn Ointment

Kayleigh McEnany Sends Jim Acosta to the Burn Ward

The last time Jim Acosta tried his typical “gotcha” question games with Kayleigh McEnany, it didn’t go so well for him. Nevertheless, CNN’s chief White House correspondent was at it again today during the daily press briefing, grilling McEnany with loaded questions about the Lafayette Park incident Monday where the Park Police confirmed that smoke canisters and pepper balls, not tear gas, were used on protesters who were allegedly throwing projectiles including bricks at officers who had told the crowd three different times to disperse as President Trump prepared to walk to burned St. John’s Episcopal church nearby.
Every time he asked it, McEnany fired back, first by setting the record straight that tear gas was not used on any of the protesters, and secondly that it was done in response to protesters allegedly throwing things at officers and law enforcement finding “caches of glass bottles, baseball bats and metal poles hidden along the street” shortly before 7pm, which was curfew time.

When Acosta continued to press on, McEnany whacked him by reminding him of the things that happen when police get caught off guard, such as the four officers who were shot in St. Louis during a recent riot, the Las Vegas officer who is now on life support after being shot in the head, and of other violent incidents involving rioters attacking police officers in the aftermath of the death of George Floyd. Officers have the right to protect and defend themselves and secure the perimeter, she again noted, while also pointing out that they protect him and his right to come to the White House press briefing room to ask questions during briefings. If this keeps up, Jim Acosta might want to invest in a few gallons of burn ointment along with a jock cup if he insist on getting kick in the nut regularly, because he’s going to need it.

NYT's Journalist Justifies Looting, Property Damage

Tuesday, the author of the ahistorical “1619 Project” Nikole Hannah-Jones, made some disturbing arguments justifying violence to PBS’s Christiane Amanpour. She claimed it was “immoral” to call looting violence.
Destroying property which can be replaced is not violence. And to put those things -- to use the exact same language to describe those two things, I think really is not moral to do that.  We're 13% minority in majority white country. We are descendants of people that were enslaved in this country. So ultimately our protest is only as successful as we can convince white Americans to actually comply with the Constitution and treat black Americans as full citizens.
I think I would not describe looting as violence, looting is property damage, but it is not violence. We need to have to have some perspective on what exactly we’re seeing when we call that violence and looting. When you talk about someone taking something from a big box main store, it's symbolic. One pair of shoes that you've stolen from the Foot Locker is not going to change your life, but it is a symbolic taking....."
In her Orwellian newspeak saying violent activities weren't actually violent means burning down someone’s house or business is considered a “peaceful” activity to the NYT journalist.

Careful With That Axe Eugene...

Do People Who Want DJT to Fail Ever Get Tired of Posing as if They're Offering to Help Him Avoid Failure?

Eugene Robinson of The Washington Post:
"President Trump’s increasingly frantic attempts to smear former president Barack Obama reek of panic. As disgusting as these efforts are, they are likely to backfire, perhaps in spectacular fashion..."
Maybe there are readers at WaPo who lap this stuff up. They want Trump to be going nuts and they'd like to see his attacks backfire spectacularly. But there's no way an interpretation like this could influence Trump. He's not going to think: I'd better calm down and realize that attacks on Obama will only hurt me. It makes much more sense for him to interpret a column like that to mean that his attacks are effective.
"Maybe Trump just cannot abide the fact that Obama is a Nobel laureate, respected around the world, while he has had to endure being snickered at by world leaders and portrayed as hapless and ignorant by the “fake news” media he claims to hate yet compulsively devours. Increasingly, his imagined victimizer is Obama himself. Trump even tries to blame Obama for his own administration’s botched response to a disease that did not exist when Obama was in office.
I thought everyone knew you don’t tug on Superman’s cape...."
And yet, you're doing just that.

By the way, the line "you don’t tug on Superman’s cape" comes from Jim Croce's "You Don't Mess Around With Jim," and the question why Superman wears a cape — what good does it do him? — has long plagued readers of comic books who think too much.

IN THE COMMENTS: Calypso Facto said:
"Jim" also gets his ass handed to him by the upstart "Slim" at the end of Croce's song. Maybe more on point than Eugene Robinson intended? (And isn't Slim a great nickname for Trump in response to Pelosi's failed fat-shaming?)

Media Ramps Up Frontal Assault on Unmasking Scandal

Lacking any self-awareness of being on a channel that routinely engages in nutty left-wing conspiracy theories and outrageous rhetoric, MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle kept up her network’s insistence that there was “nothing” to see regarding the controversy swirling around top Obama administration officials – including Joe Biden – urging the unmasking of Michael Flynn.

Following days of her fellow liberal hosts down playing the scandal in between the scare-mongering and the Orangeman bad choruses, Ruhle assured viewers the scandal was “completely made up” and a “nonsense story.”
“This morning, nearly 86,000 Americans have died from coronavirus....But the President and his allies are laser focused on a different story, one they completely made up,” Ruhle declared during the 9:00 a.m. ET hour. She bitterly added: “Something that they now are calling ‘Obamagate.’ It means nothing........The President has called it the greatest political crime in our country’s history, but it’s not.”

Thursday afternoon, Deadline: White House host Nicolle Wallace used nearly identical language, ranting that the scandal was a “fantasy,” like “the political version of the Tooth Fairy” or Santa Claus.

Despite Wallace’s spin that this was Trump deflecting blame, her quickness to dismiss a legitimate story as a conspiracy theory, plus Joe Biden’s repeated lies that he was in no way involved in the investigation into Michael Flynn, may say more about how worried they are for 2020, than it does about Trump.

No doubt, The High Princess of Conspiracy Theories, Ricky Maddow, is surely feeling all invigorated about now....

Let's All Join Hands [virtually, of course] and Say a Prayer for Poor Squinty Scarborough

Poor Joe Scarborough: the pro-Trump media is so mean to him!  Squinty Joe opened this Mornings Squinty & Meat Puppet Show by moaning about how the pro-Trump media criticizes him for his "mistakes" lies.  In contrast, sobbed Scarborough, those same meanies ignore Trump's many "lies." Play us a sad song, Joe...
NB- Joe was awfully upset over being called out for having falsely claimed, as we noted, that "everybody saw [coronavirus] coming in early January." In fact, as late as March 10th, NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio was on . . . Morning Joe, encouraging people to go about their lives normally, claiming there was "very little threat" for the majority of New Yorkers.
And Joe was similarly distressed for having been criticized when he retweeted a doctored video falsely suggesting that Vice President Mike Pence was carrying empty boxes of PPE as a photo op. Working to weasel out of that blooper, Scarborough came close to blaming his children, suggesting he was distracted because "actually being dad, I was running around." Those darn kids!
As Morning Joe viewers know, Scarborough likes to ride his verbal hobbyhorses into the ground. Today's was "fainting couch," with Scarborough repeatedly saying that Trump supporters in the media got on their fainting couches over Joe's "mistakes."
Be sure to check the end of the video, where Scarborough pretends to be on the verge of a breakdown as he imitates the outrage of the pro-Trump media. (No Oscar for you Joe)
Note: just yesterday, a supposedly contrite Scarborough, commenting on his Twitter feud with Sen. Ted Cruz over the doctored Pence video, tweeted, "I gotta work on some things myself. I've got to do better." That didn't last long!

Fact Free MSNBC Claims Vlad Putin Was Behind Dropping the Michael Flynn Case

After weeks of Andrea Mitchell Reports gladly repeating Chinese Communist Party talking points, Mitchell and former FBI Assistant Director for Counterintelligence and current MSNBC contributor Frank Figliuzzi declared without any evidence at all that Russian President Vladimir Putin had something to do with the Justice Department’s decision to drop the case against former General Michael Flynn.

After Mitchell breathlessly summarized the “stunning” and “unprecedented” decision on Flynn, she saw something sinister in the Thursday phone call between President Trump and Putin. “Frank, first, all of the implications here, and the fact that he then called Vladimir Putin yesterday. She then asked Figliuzzi to, “Talk to me about your counterintelligence concerns here.”

Figliuzzi was certain that the phone call and the decision to drop the case were connected, “Yeah, I think they’re actually linked. The dismissal of charges against Flynn and conversation by the president with Vladimir Putin, stone cold adversary of the United States on the very same day, that’s not a coincidence.”

Whether Trump is allegedly a puppet or merely trying to appease Putin was left unsaid, but Figliuzzi maintained that the Flynn investigation was an urgent matter of national security, “The Flynn interview that is at issue here by the FBI was all about resolving the question of whether Mike Flynn was a counterintelligence threat to the nation as he entered into the national security adviser role. It was about figuring out how to neutralize, resolve and counter that threat. So when the president gets on the phone with Vladimir Putin and the topic comes up in the same conversation, the concerns have not yet been resolved.”

A retired three-star general is a national security threat? That’s a bit of a stretch.

Mitchell and Figliuzzi are simply wrong. The Trump-Putin phone call was on Thursday, the same day that the DOJ made the decision public, but the recommendation to drop the plan was made last week by U.S. Attorney Jeff Jensen. But since when did facts mean anything to the bunch of soft skulls at MSNBC.

So, We’re back to Russia.. WOW.. That’s not a double down, that’s like a quad-down. These people know no shame.

And I might need remind the reader, this same nutty F**ker Frank Figliuzzi, former FBI Assistant Director for Counterintelligence, who once told Lyin' Brian Willams Trump was signaling White Supremacist by raising the American Flag from half staff on August 8th 2019.

I kid you not:

No Maggie, It's Not a Hostile Media Cycle Takeover

It has become more and more apparent that the media as a whole are afraid to look in the mirror as to not see the real hypocrisy in their heroic endeavors at informing the public of the current resident of the WH. [enter laugh track here] It's obvious The NYTs Maggie Haberman literally doesn't own a mirror, if you've every seen her you'd probably agree.

And after billions in free media DJT was given that helped elect him, for Haggie Maggie to suggest the media cycles are the victim of a "Hostile Takeover" by DJT is a remarkable statement no one would believe unless they've been in a cave for the last three years. While the media fawn over Joe Biden, stuck in his basement running a 80's style campaign the media manufactures news, pumping the news cycle, breathlessly fact-checking things DJT never said. The media circle jerk willingly went to the well and Maggie has been outed as another charlatan.
It's Not a Hostile Media Takeover when "the media cycle" collectively hikes up its skirt, gets on all fours and begs to be taken like the German Wehrmacht took Poland.

Fun Fact: In Sanskrit, "Maggie Haberman" is an anagram for "coquettish arsenic".

When Established Media Types Begin to Speak Openly Like This, There are NO Reasons to Believe Anything News Worthy They Tell Us in the Future

In Relation to 2020, Our Media Are Quickly Becoming Modern Day Kamikazes

A piece from the New York Times published Monday showed published letters to the editor regarding a May 2 piece from the editorial board titled "Investigate Tara Reade's Allegations." Reade has accused Biden of sexually assault in the early 1990's.

Martin Tolchin, a co-founder of Politico and The Hill as well as a former member of The Times' Washington bureau, wrote in and admitted that he didn't want an investigation into the allegation. Tolchin wrote that this was simply because it could damage the chance to beat President Donald Trump, adding that he didn't even want justice for Reade if her allegation proved true.
"I totally disagree with this editorial. I don't want an investigation. I want a coronation of Joe Biden," Tolchin wrote according to the NYT. "I don't want justice, whatever that may be. I want a win, the removal of Donald Trump from office, and Mr. Biden is our best chance." ...
"Suppose an investigation reveals damaging information concerning his relationship with Tara Reade or something else, and Mr. Biden loses the nomination to Senator Bernie Sanders or someone else with a minimal chance of defeating Mr. Trump. Should we really risk the possibility?"
Day after day in America, the leftist media continues to demonstrate out in the open, with no conscience what so ever, they're willingness to do anything including lie, cheat and open up the the electoral system possible massive voter fraud just to regain power and replace DJT with a Doddering Old Delaware Fool.

Man Teetering on the Edge of Insanity Says DJT is Not Well

Squinty Joe Scarborough, once a respected congressman (the dead woman found in his office aside) now regulated to a morning filler show regularly bested in the ratings by a square pants sponge cartoon character, a man who chooses to be on the wrong side of history, and not to mention married to a former adulterous peroxide poisoned co-host, should know a little about being mental disturbed.  A man who rants obsessively about the President now, as any good medically trained cable news pundit is likened to do, the plastic poser is giving mental health advise to the president.
NB- In a transparent ploy to shift the focus from a doddering Joe Biden now beset with a serious allegation of sexual assault, Joe Scarborough did his best today to suggest that President Trump was not mentally "well," should "get checked out, take a rest," and "let Mike Pence run things." Scarborough first criticized President Trump for tweeting about Joe himself. After then rapping Trump for his comments on Presidents Obama and George W. Bush among other subjects, Scarborough launched into his concern-trolling spiel.
In his best faux, oh-so-serious, voice, Scarborough recited what seemed to be a canned statement:

The Liberal Media Intelligentsia Self Protection Club

If you listened to all the 'Very Smart People' in the Washington press corps over the last few weeks whinging about how this time Trump had crashed and burned once and for all, that he is broken and beyond salvation and his Presidency is all but over, I'm guessing you're not buying and probably think otherwise. And they don't care. They don't have to be right.

In the game of professional punditry there clearly exists a special set of rules designed for one sort of person: Liberal's parade of bomb-throwing, hate-mongering, race-baiting bottom feeders. That breed which makes their daily bread from grifting the leftist soft skulls by generating an endless flood of books, magazine articles, broadcasts, speeches and videos all telling the soft skull liberal base over and over again that their bigotries are noble and their paranoia is real. Of course, part of the downside of wallowing in the wingnut sewer and trafficking in slander and lies is that, sooner or later, you become a toxic mess.

Your stink becomes unacceptable to the general public, which is where the Sunday morning talk shows -- the Mouse Circus -- comes in. Because despite having long ago devolved into a sinkhole of Beltway twaddle, it is still viewed by altogether too many people as a bastion of Very Serious people. It's the strip-mall of political opinion where casual shoppers go to feel smart and validated.

And so a bargain is struck; the bottom feeders deliver a temporary hike in the only thing these show's owners really care about -- audience share -- and, in exchange for being teevee friendly and keeping the worst of their batshit crazy on a leash for a few minutes, their Mouse Circus deburrs the bottom feeders' public image, replates and burnishes their credibility and temporarily transfuses them with Seriousness, which can then be redeemed at ten times its face value back among the soft skulls.

And in the key to that bargain we will now call "The Biden Rule": an agreement that the moderator will never, ever ask the bomb-thrower, the hate-monger or the race-baiting goon sitting directly across from them a single question about their bomb-throwing, hate-mongering or race-baiting activities. Instead they will be represented to the public merely as a liberal / Never-Trumper commentator or talk radio host or pundit who, at worst, might be known for some "controversial" opinions, which the moderator will never bothers to explicate.

Obvious rapacious hucksters like Al Sharpton find a safe and nurturing environment within the American political media for the same reason that clowns and flakes and demagogues like Never-Tumpers Rick Wilson and Jennifer Rubin, and anti-trump race baiters like MSNBC Nutty Negress Joy Reid and NPR's Yamiche Alcindor prosper within the same media midden pile because they are needed for the media to keep their Sunday freak shows running.

I'd say there's a revolving door between naked political pimping and network punditing, but as the case of the NYT's Paul Krugman amply demonstrates, there is no door at all anymore.  If you pay any attention at all to the Beltway Media Club you will not fail to quickly notice that their highest priority is the mutual defense and protection of fellow Club members.  No matter how many times they publicly shit the bed they can always rely on the likes of Chuck Tard of 'Meet the Press' or 'This Week with Georgie Stephanopoulos', to hose them down, fluff them up and sit them down in front of the camera for their newest rehabilitation session. The Beltway Fixers will always, always, always fish bottom-feeding ghouls out of the gutter, hose them off and put them back in front of a camera.

Pretty Much Why the Media is Useless in the Age of the Chinese Coronavirus.....

Here's a few notes I've scribbled down over the past days from my nest in the love seat about the present apocalypse as conveyed to us by the many soft skull geniuses at CNN & MSNBC:

We're told not to leave the house for any reason. But if you have to, then you can.  Masks are useless, but maybe you should have to wear one, it can save you, but it is probably useless otherwise, but maybe it should be mandatory as well.  You should not go to hospitals unless you have to go there. Same applies to doctors, you should only go there in case of emergency, provided you are not too sick.

Animals are not affected, but there is still a cat that tested positive in Belgium in February when no one had been tested, plus a few tigers here and there.  You will have many symptoms when you are sick, but you can also get sick without symptoms, have symptoms without being sick, or be contagious without having symptoms. In order not to get sick, you have to eat well and exercise, but eat whatever you have on hand and it’s better not to go out, well, but no…

This virus is deadly but still not too scary, except that sometimes these things actually leads to a global disaster.  Everyone needs to stay HOME, but it’s important to GO OUT.  There is no shortage of groceries in the supermarket, but there are many things missing when you go there in the evening, but not in the morning. Sometimes.

It’s better to get some fresh air, but you will get looked at as very wrong when you get some fresh air, and most importantly, you don’t go to parks or walk.  If you do go, don’t sit down, except that you can do that now if you are old, but not for too long or if you are pregnant (but not too old). If you are sick, you can’t go out, but you can go to the pharmacy.

You can get restaurant food delivered to the house, which may have been prepared by people who didn’t wear masks or gloves. But you have to have your groceries decontaminated outside for 3 hours. Every disturbing article or disturbing interview starts with “ I don’t want to trigger panic, but…” The virus remains active on different surfaces for two hours, no, four, no, six, no, we didn’t say hours, maybe days? But it takes a damp environment. Oh no, not necessarily.

The virus stays in the air - well no, or yes, maybe, especially in a closed room, in one hour a sick person can infect ten, so if it falls, all our children were already infected at school before it was closed. But remember, if you stay at the recommended social distance, however in certain circumstances you should maintain a greater distance, which, studies show, the virus can travel further, maybe.

We have no treatment, except that there may be one or two  medications that apparently are not dangerous unless you take to much and has been prescribed for decades, but we cannot use it because someone might experience side-effects, or even get sick.

We should stay locked up until the virus disappears, but it will only disappear if we achieve collective immunity.  We count the number of deaths but we don’t know how many people are infected as we have only tested so far those who were “almost dead” to find out if that’s what they will die of…and in NYC they are cooking the books by adding 3700 more deaths to their total even though they were never tested and only presumed to have died from coronavirus.

Oh God, How I Have Grown to Truly Loathe These People

I know this is probably not the time to post something like this, but after yesterday, I've had enough.  I've been told my entire life that HATE is not healthy emotion and will eat you from the inside. But of what we are now witnessing, I find it harder and harder to fight the impulse.  For what seems an eternity now one has heard a lot of hueing and crying from Never Trumpers who have managed to transition from being what was thought to be patriot defenders of Republican ideals to shameless permanent, paid members of a hate-filled leftist Media without so much a change of clothes.

They are very loud, these Never Trumpers, and have been gifted enormous mainstream media platforms and they are just full of Righteous Indignation about how OMFG can you believe that these "Trumpers" are still supporting their Dear Leader even though he lies to them every day! And OMFG, Fox News!! And OMFG, this is not the Republican Party I was a part of!!

And even now, in our times of trouble we share with most of the rest of the world, even now, they cannot put aside their hateful propaganda and tell the truth.

Self-lobotomizing Republican meatheads, through-and-through cowards, collecting a paycheck from the leftist media lords with their eyes wide open. And whether they are zombies or cowards or cold-blooded mercenaries, all of them are complicit in promoting an anti-american regressive monster and further dividing a nation.

All of them.

All of them, every Never Trumper you see on teevee or read in The New York Times or The Washington Post wringing their hands and weeping bitter tears over the loss of their glorious party and the state of the nation.

So congratulations: While you were busy explaining to your family and friends that you had joined the fight against the Republican  fringe, that bold new experiments in a wholly fake press “reporting” wholly fake news you joined into became the “fringe” and the Democrats became The fringe Party.

So you can remain comfortable with wearing your sheets of intolerance and goose-step marching in formation as you divide the country, but what you can’t do is continue this ruinous and infantile pretense that you're are the truth. You and your fellow wingnuts clearly hate traditional America as passionately as any muslim jihadist. You hate the plurality of it, the tolerance, the check-and-balance that deters your fellow believers from curb-stomping red hat wearing patriots, or colored Trump supporters whenever they fucking well feel like it. You seem delighted with the notion of a fascist America (as long as you are the one’s holding the machine guns) Your heads are open sewers swirling with happy masturbatory thoughts of beating your opposition to jelly. You are at war with reality itself, and smile at every lie your ivory tower Lord and Masters allow you to tell.

Every mediawhore who is uncovered, figuratively or otherwise, makes the shrug and smirk and then dance a drunken little jig that says, “See! We can say anything and you can’t stop us! Anything! ”

This is the behavior you validate and actively endorses every time your voice supports progressive voices. By some sudden and inexplicable madness which no one could possibly have seen coming, you make absolutely no secret of what your agenda is, what your willing to do with no conscience as you help overthrow all we hold dear.

So how about you Wake the Fuck Up and answer me one, simple question: Why in the name of God do you insist on helping your enemies destroy the nation you claim you love?
