Another Roaring Chicago Success Story....

It’s hard to deny just how poorly Chicago’s public schools are performing when it hits you in the face. Such is the case with Paul Robeson High School’s 2014 prom theme:

"This Is Are Story"

That image came from veteran investigative reporter Chuck Goudie, who posted this image on his Facebook page. 

Some people might enjoy mocking the irony of the gross misuse of vocabulary. But unless the organizers of the prom festivities planned the wording this way as a joke, there’s nothing funny about the situation. 

Paul Robeson High School is located in the Englewood neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side, one of the poorest and most dangerous neighborhoods in the city. The high school also is part of the failing Chicago Public Schools, or CPS, system. 

Four out of 10 CPS freshmen do not graduate. 

If they do graduate, 91 percent have to take remediation courses in college because they do not know how to do basic math and school work. Just 26 percent of CPS high school students are college-ready, according to the ACT subject matter tests.

But while CPS students get left behind, their teachers receive generous compensation.

Who says Russia is not returning to its old ways? Here is proof of its nostalgia for the good old days of the Soviet Union: the city name "Stalingrad" is about to be resurrected. 
The proof is on the symbolic level, perhaps the best indication of the breadth and depth of this nostalgia, and of all that it represents.

The leftists at the Guardian -- a long-time outlet of the Ministry of Truth -- tell their readers that this proposed name change is about The Great Patriotic War, not about Stalin. But who are they kidding?

The Guardian:

"For more than 300 years, the Russian city of Volgograd was known as Tsaritsyn. It was dubbed Stalingrad in honour of Soviet leader Joseph Stalin for a mere 26 years, but then his successor Nikita Khrushchev dropped that name as part of his campaign to dismantle the personality cult of the former dictator.

Now the city may become Stalingrad once again after president Vladimir Putin proposed holding a referendum to change the name amid a wave of second world war patriotism over eastern Ukraine. When asked by a Soviet veteran during D-day commemorations in Normandy on Friday, Putin promised to help the city's residents vote on bringing back the Stalingrad name. "It wasn't me who canceled that," Putin told the veterans...."

"...Several other prominent politicians, including deputy PM Dmitry Rogozin and Communist party leader and MP Gennady Zyuganov, were quick to put their weight behind the possible name change. But Putin's support is what is likely to move the initiative forward in Volgograd, which is one of Russia's largest cities with more than 1 million people."

Which group of undocumented is enjoying a softer retirement here in the U.S. — illegal aliens or “political refugees”? Until recently, I would have said illegals. But then I realized, being a “political refugee,” or an asylum seeker, can be pretty damn sweet too. Why else would Obama's late Auntie Zeituni have bothered to change her status from illegal to refugee?

Now we have more evidence, in the case of Khairullozhon Matanov, pal of the leeching Tsarnaev brothers.

Matanov, a  Quincy  Mass. Taxi Driver, was arrested last week on charges of obstruction of justice, accused of allegedly destroying computer documents in an attempt to hide his relationship with the Tsarnaev brothers.  Last Friday in court, he demanded a public defender, because he was “indigent.” They’re all indigent now. When you haven’t paid for a thing since you arrived on these shores with the huddled masses, yearning for everything free, you’re damn sure not going to actually hire a lawyer.

But now we find out that this “Quincy cabbie,” Matanov, between 2010 and 2013 made 114 wire transfers overseas, for a total of more than $71,000. Oddly, this “Quincy cabbie” used aliases when he was mailing cash back to his Third World hellholes — Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Greece. He sent the cash to 15 different individuals. Who knew the taxi business was that good in Quincy Mass.

When Obama and Gov. Deval are giving these foreign terrorists everything, like Section 8 housing, EBT cards and MassHealth etc., etc., why would you ever spend your own money when you could use it to build bombs to blow up the infidels who feed you?

It’s amazing how well these savages live over here in the Great Satan.

 The Obama Administration is working hand-in-hand with Central American governments to engineer this deliberate, unprecedented invasion of illegal aliens. La Raza groups are spreading the word that Obama will sign administrative amnesty. And nations like El Salvador and Honduras are urging women and children to make the grueling trek to cross the U.S. border, because Obama will never deport them, and they can receive jobs and taxpayer-funded welfare for life.

Eric Holder, who is supposed to be the highest law enforcement official in America, is unleashing a new lawless program to actually provide taxpayer-funded lawyers to these invading illegals — to make sure they will never be deported by an immigration judge. And Holder is grabbing $2 million of a $315 million fund that is supposed to help secure the border, not make a mockery of border security.

Attorney General Eric Holder on Friday announced a new program aimed at ensuring that illegal immigrant children who cross into the U.S. without a parent or guardian have legal representation in the United States.

Holder announced an initiative called “Justice AmeriCorps,” a grant program to fund lawyers and paralegals and provide legal services to these children. Holder said it’s a response to Congress’ request that the Justice Department “better serve vulnerable populations such as children and improve court efficiency through pilot efforts aimed at improving legal representation.”

Holder’s move was likely to be seen by Republicans as another possible incentive for more illegal children to try entering the country. One Republican aide reiterated past GOP complaints that the Obama administration often appears willing to help non-U.S. citizens more than it wants to help citizens.

This is treason, plain and simple. In a sane nation, Obama and Holder would be doing a perp walk right now on their way into a Federal courthouse. But as radio legend Mark Levin has described it, we are now living in a “post-Constitutional America“, and no one will dare stand up to this lawless president no matter what he does.
