"Chocolate City" Nig Nagin Gets 10 Years in the Pokey

ABC NEWS - Former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin was sentenced Wednesday to 10 years in prison for bribery, money laundering and other corruption that spanned his two terms as mayor — including the chaotic years after Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005.

U.S. District Judge Helen Berrigan handed down the sentence Wednesday morning.

Nagin was convicted Feb. 12 of accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars from businessmen who wanted work from the city or Nagin’s support for various projects. The bribes came in the form of money, free vacations and truckloads of free granite for his family business.

The 58-year-old Democrat had defiantly denied any wrongdoing after his 2013 indictment and during his February trial. After the sentencing Nagin smiled and hugged supporters as he walked out of the courtroom with his wife, Seletha, and other family members and friends.

Nagin is to report to the federal prison in Oakdale, Louisiana, in September.

Berrigan noted the serious nature of the crimes but cited several other factors in her decision to depart from sentencing guidelines that could have put Nagin in prison for as many as 20 years. She said Nagin should not be cast as the leader of the scheme in which participants got millions of dollars in city work. "Mr. Nagin claimed a much, much smaller share of the profits in this conspiracy," Berrigan.

Nagin was alleged to have received roughly a half million dollars.

ISIS Seizes Iraqi Chemical Weapons Facility

UNITED NATIONS (AP) — Iraq said the Islamic State extremist group has taken control of a vast former chemical weapons facility northwest of Baghdad, where 2,500 chemical rockets filled with the deadly nerve agent sarin or their remnants were stored along with other chemical warfare agents. Iraq’s U.N. Ambassador Mohamed Ali Alhakim said in a letter to U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon circulated Tuesday that “armed terrorist groups” entered the Muthanna site on June 11.

Alhakim singled out the capture of bunkers 13 and 41 in the sprawling complex 35 miles (56 kilometers) northwest of Baghdad in the notorious “Sunni Triangle.”

The last major report by U.N. inspectors on the status of Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction program was released about a year after the experts left in March 2003. It states that Bunker 13 contained 2,500 sarin-filled 122-mm chemical rockets produced and filled before 1991, and about 180 tons of sodium cyanide, “a very toxic chemical and a precursor for the warfare agent tabun.”

Last week, proclaimed leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi declared the establishment of an Islamic state, or caliphate, in the land the extremists control.

Oklahoma City to Host Black Mass

We all know the devil has walked the streets of Oklahoma City before, the graves of Murrah Federal Building  bombing stand as a testament.

And it seems he still has some bold admirers in one of the most conservative states in the union, who plan an open public worship of the prince of darkness.

A spokeswoman for the Oklahoma City Civic Center Music Hall defended a black mass being planned there by a convicted sex offender, even though it might involve the desecration of an actual consecrated host.

Jennifer Lindsey-McClintock, the music hall’s public information manager, said that she is not in a position to say “whether it is appropriate or not. That’s not for us to judge,” she told CNA July 3, citing the music hall’s neutrality policy. “We do not discriminate against any group based on the content of their message.”

A black mass is scheduled to be presented at the music hall Sept. 21 by the occultist group Dakhma of Angra Mainyu, which claims inspiration from ancient Persian ideals.

Often connected to witchcraft and demonic worship, a black mass is a sacrilegious ceremony that invokes Satan and mocks the Catholic Mass. It involves the desecration of the Eucharist, generally by stealing a consecrated host from a Catholic Church and using it in a profane sexual ritual.

The Dakhma of Angra Mainyu website described the upcoming event and its interpretation of the black mass, explaining its use among Satanists and “modern Devil Worshipers.” The group said the modern form of the ritual uses a consecrated host “corrupted by sexual fluids” that then “becomes the sacrifice of the mass.”

“The authenticity and purpose of the black mass will remain intact while allowing for slight changes so that a public viewing can occur without breaking Oklahoma’s laws based on nudity, public urination, and other sex acts,” the group said. Tickets for the event cost $15.

Nancy Pelosi Enters Clinic After Visiting Southern Border

Hollywood - House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was spotted leaving a super secret location of one of Hollywood's most famous clinics, known only to the select 1%,  just before daylight Monday. A specialized procedure was done on Mrs. Pelosi under the cover of darkness by the 'Surgeon to the Stars, Dr. H. Bruno Smutts.

We have learned Mrs. Pelosi decided to have facial surgery after severely frightening numerous young illegal immigrant refugee children while visiting the southern border area last week.

A clinic source told MFNS the long and very dangerous radical facial reconstruction surgery was done at the Beverly Hills clinic after hours late last night for secrecy and security reasons.

"Mrs. Pelosi’s face is currently a combination of spackling compound, putty, pig fat and gorilla glue. The procedure involved heating her face with a blow torch to soften, then stretched and reformed into the desired shape, then sealed with industrial strength epoxy. She’s really a freakish looking lady close up.......say, you guy aren't gonna repeat any us this......right??"  

Pelosi is  preparing for election to her 14th term in congress.

Obama Encouraging Fauxcahontas to Challenge the Hildabeast

Some say Barrack Obama is quietly encouraging Mass. Senator Elizabeth Warren to enter the 2016 election and challenge perennial front runner, Hillary Clinton should she run. This would have two important results. Keep women's interest focused on the democrats, and a useful idiot's defense of his policies, thus shore up the base of low info voters that were key to defeating Clinton in the  2008  primaries.

We hear this from Ed Klein:

"President Obama has quietly promised Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren complete support if she runs for president — a stinging rebuke to his nemesis Hillary Clinton, sources tell me.

Publicly, Obama has remained noncommittal on the 2016 race, but privately he worries that Clinton would undo and undermine many of his policies. There’s also a personal animosity, especially with Bill Clinton, that dates from their tough race six years ago. A former Harvard law professor and administration aide, Warren would energize the left wing of the Democrat Party just as Obama did against Clinton in 2008.

Thanks to her outspoken stand against big banks and the top 1 percent, Warren is the darling of progressives. She won her Senate seat thanks to millions of dollars in donations from outside Massachusetts, including from rich environmentalists and Hollywood celebrities."

Excuse me for butting in here, but do you detect just a smidgen of leftist hypocrisy in that last paragraph? He continues:

"Obama has authorized his chief political adviser, Valerie Jarrett, to conduct a full-court press to convince Warren to throw her hat into the ring.

In the past several weeks, Jarrett has held a series of secret meetings with Warren. During these meetings, Jarrett has explained to Warren that Obama is worried that if Hillary succeeds him in the White House, she will undo many of his policies. He believes that the populist Warren is the best person to convince the party faithful that Hillary is out of touch with poor Americans and the middle class. 

 “The Obamas believe that Warren sees things from the same ideological point of view as they do. She is a committed progressive who, like Obama, wants to transform America into a European-style democratic-socialist state.....”

Win or Lose in November, The War on Women to Continue

Yes, the war on women will continue unabated by pushing for Voter ID laws, so a dead woman in a Chicago Cemetery doesn't cancel out your rightful and legitimate vote.

The War on women shall continue, by opposing through Affirmative Action, the promotion an unqualified woman to a position over a more qualified candidate (man or women) simply because of their race or happen to possess a Va-Jay-Jay.

The War on Women shall continue to fight those who wish to pass restrictive laws in the name of 'safety', and thus denying the basic right of self defense.

The war on Women shall continue to "be in your uterus" by having you pay for your own morning after abortion pills instead of your employer or the American Taxpayers, who do not believe in killing the innocent unborn for convenience or lack of responsibility.

The War on Women will continue to expose the party who not only protects their leaders from the consequences of their lecherous behavior towards women, but go even further to promote them to superstar status within their party.

The War on Women shall continue to refute the patronizing rhetoric women are "One Issue Voters", cannot learn for themselves, and have to be told how to vote.

The War on Women shall continue to press for cutting the budget, lower taxes on income and saving, to further female entrepreneurship and restore individual freedom and the American Dream.

The War on Women shall continue to be in opposition to someone receiving equal pay in an important position,  without merit and performance to back it up, as someone with years of experience in that same job (man or women).

The War on Women shall oppose tax payer funded federal grants to students for the purpose of  acquiring worthless degrees in a content free, useless and bigoted field like Gender Studies, and to fight tenure for union protected bad teachers who we entrust the young to learn and grow into responsible citizens.

Women all over this country are in positions that they have never been in before: for the first time, are taking over the mantle of breadwinner because their husbands have lost their jobs. Many more are regulated to using food stamps to feed their children for the first time in their lives and realizing that the hope and change that they voted for aren't translating into their every day existence. It's great on a hallmark card but hard to live off of.

Listening to the never-ending abortion rhetoric under the guise of “war on women” is insulting for those of us who have family and friends we are watching struggle. We want to know why Obama, in between vacations and golf outings, hasn't already done something about the 47 million on food stamps, the soaring poverty and devastating lack of employment in this country?
