Those Late Night Guys........

Shakedown Al is Eyeing ESPN

DT - So far the Trump era has been some lean times for Al Sharpton. Despite the left’s ridiculous claim that the President is a white supremacist there haven’t been any good money-making opportunities for the race hustler. It got so bad that Big Al was actually trying to hustle for the Irish. Thankfully, ESPN has suspended a black woman and Sharpton sees his opportunity to shakedown a big corporation. ‘Bout f*ckin’ time, yo!

Jemele Hill is a black sportscaster or whatever the hell she is on ESPN. A few weeks back she went on a social media rant calling President Trump a white supremacist for finding the NFL “take a knee” protests to be disrespectful to this country. At the time ESPN decided they would not discipline Hill in any way, because lets face it, the network which is supposed to be about sports is really invested in being an arm of the Trump Resistance Forces.

After Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones finally came around and said if any of his players took a knee during the National Anthem that they would not play, Hill once again took to social media. This time she called for black people to boycott the Cowboys and any of their sponsors. Interestingly enough, ESPN finally decided to punish Hill. The network really brought the hammer down and suspended Hill for two weeks. With pay? I have no idea, they weren’t too specific about that, just the slap on the wrist they handed out.

On cue, Al Sharpton took aim at this egregious miscarriage of justice, tweeting:

You don’t even need to read between the lines with this threat. Big Al has made it clear that both ESPN and any company that advertises on the network will have to pay a tribute to Sharpton or face the wrath of his nearly nonexistent professional protest force. Sharpton and his National Action Network are small potatoes.

But ESPN is in deep financial trouble. They are over-extended on their professional sports deals and almost nobody is willing to pay for the network. There’s still a certain number of TV providers who force people to pay for ESPN whether they want it or not, but the number of paid subscribers has dropped dramatically. The last thing the network wants to do right now is pay off a race-hustling huckster over his manufactured outrage. And yet, being a liberal propaganda outlet masquerading as a sports network, I feel like they just might cave to Sharpton and “donate” some tax-free (to him) dollars to the cause.

Al knows what he’s doing. It takes literally no effort for him to bully companies and individuals with accusations of racism and every now and then it pays off handsomely. Right Al?

 *  Sharpton and his National Action Network (NAN) announced they'll stage a press conference in New York today to address ESPN's suspension of Jemele Hill. The protest will be held outside of the Disney-owned network's Upper West Side offices at 12 noon ET.  Sharpton and NAN will call for a meeting with the Chairman of the Board and demand an immediate reinstatement of Jemele Hill along with other demands pertaining to corporate diversity.  ESPN previously declined to comment on Sharpton's threat to lead a boycott of network advertisers.

As soon as ESPN chose to take the side of the Leftists, they had to be fully committed. Any deviation or hesitation from the ideology, and the Left will turn on you quicker than you can blink.

Anyone Else See The Complete Irony In This??

Thank You MJA for the Linkage

The New World’s Oldest Villain

"Today many Americans will be celebrating Columbus Day. Many others will instead be commemorating something they call Indigenous Peoples Day. Which camp you fall in largely hinges on whether or not you think Christopher Columbus was a big fat jerk.

In schoolrooms across the nation, Columbus is increasingly being depicted as a villain rather than a hero—someone who trampled on the gentle and progressive natives just because he wanted to be an asshole and impede their inevitable progress.

And now the masked trust-fund brats of Antifa—who are aggressively attempting to knock out the very pillars of historically unprecedented privilege which enable them to commit idle acts of vandalism while living on SSI for their personality disorders and bleeding the state’s coffers for genital reassignment surgery, and who most definitely wouldn’t last twelve hours in any of the communist utopias they fetishize from afar—have declared today “Against Columbus Day” and are urging their acolytes to smash and deface any public monuments in honor of the man who, more than any other human in history, introduced the New World and the Old World to each other.

Still, they are absolutely correct that Christopher Columbus did not “discover” North America. In fact, Columbus never set foot in North America. Leif Ericson had established a settlement in Newfoundland roughly five centuries before Columbus first crossed the Atlantic.

They blame him for singlehandedly launching the transatlantic slave trade with the same sort of blind fervor that they choose to ignore Muslims’ much larger role in the enslavement and transportation of Africans, a trade which began long before and persisted long after Europeans got in (and left) the game. These same types clench their eyes shut and plug their ears at any mention that black Africans also played a primary role in the African slave trade.

And remember—the mighty indigenous peoples of the Americas couldn’t even figure out the wheel. The WHEEL. The average lifespan for Native Americans before Columbus committed “genocide” against them was around 35. It is now more than double that. When Columbus arrived in the New World, the total number of indigenous Injuns in what is now North America was less than two million. There currently are 5.2 million self-identified “Native Americans” in the USA alone and another two million or so in Canada.  That doesn’t sound like genocide to me........."

Then STFU About Making New Laws.......

NBC's Chuck Todd: “Let me ask you this: give me the slate of laws that if you could wave your wand and have enacted that could have prevented Vegas?”

Sen. Dianne Feinstein: “I’m not sure there is any set of laws that could have prevented it.

Oeaux vs.The Squirrel

  LSU vs FLORIDA
2:30PM CT - CBS

The luckiest coach in college football and the one who hopes his luck has turned this week meet at the Swamp in Gainsville for the SEC "Underachiever Bowl" Saturday.  The Little Squirrel and his Gators have managed to squeak out a couple of wins that have kept their heads above water in the SEC East, but have looked unimpressive doing so.

And as for the Tigers, well what ever was the problem in Baton Rouge better be fixed now.  The team that shutdown BYU with ease was not the Tigers we saw the last couple weeks. Missed assignments, blown coverage and turnovers are not Tiger Football.

It's crunch time in the West, and it's uphill all the way now for coach O' and the Tigers. A meat grinder of a schedule lay ahead.

This game with Florida has taken on the feeling of a true rivalry for both schools, one of more then just genuine dislike, especially heating up the last few years after the Squirrel McElwain's post-game comments.  I would suspect after last week, and with the memory of last years game in Baton Rouge when the Tigers ran up and down the field on Squirrel's much vaunted defense, only to hand them the game and the SEC East title on a silver platter on the last play of the game, that the Tigers are coming to play.

This is a winnable game and a chance for the Tigers to redeem themselves.  Well at least a little, after all, it is the Florida Gators.  It all depends on if the Tigers can run on the Gators, and if they can get to the Florida QB and force mistakes, and not make mistakes of their own, a problem that has plagued them all season so far.

And a win at the Swamp by the Tigers won't be the upset as the sports monkeys proclaim it would be, but instead an oh-so-sweet revenge, being that Florida decided to change to this game their Homecoming. That's poking the Tiger in the Eye.......

I say the Squirrel's Luck runs out

Alabama vs Texas A&M 6:15 CT-ESPN
The reason no one beats Alabama is because they play basic football, executed flawlessly and don't make mistakes. Don't believe me? Just Watch......

Ole Missy vs Auburn 11AM CT-SECN
Locale boy Shea Patterson is going to be a great college Quarterback, but hasn't the team around him yet. The Auburn defense may pose a problem for his air attack......maybe not.

Auburn by 13

Not calling any games in week 5, but calling 4 of 5 correct the previous week, Diogenes is 9-5 on the year going into week number six.
