I have not distributed a 'Douchebags of the Week award' in six months.

Primarily, this is because there are typically so many worthy candidates in a particular week that deciding upon a single individual who has achieved excellence in douchedom is a difficult task. In order to relieve myself, somewhat, of this burden, I will begin handing out the awards on a mass basis.

I know: this cheapens the honor and waters down it true value, but then again, we DO happen to live in an unfortunate age where inflation has hit everyone particularly hard and devalued everything else.

And this week's nominees can take a great deal of responsibility for it, too, no matter how much they insist it's everyone else's fault......"

White House press secretary Jen Psaki was asked about the tweet during today’s press briefing but said she had no info on if Gins or anyone else in the VP's office had been instructed to publicly express support for Harris.

Concerning my absence from DMF:  Monday morning your Beloved Blog Editrix was unexpectedly kidnaped, my personal digital devices confiscated, and secreted off by the Love of My Life to be held (tightly) hostage for two days & nights in a Bed and Breakfast in Jefferson Texas.  Then early Wednesday I was awakened and whisked off against my will to Dallas to participate in an decadent Christmas shopping spree, fine dining and a late night on the town. But this was not the end, as to come was being strong-armed & intimidated into picking out new car as my Christmas present AND THEN total humiliation having to drive it all the way home myself!!😎  But know this one thing my friends, I am a strong person. I will recover from this with time.

For those of you who emailed with concerns of my health and whereabouts, I couldn't see them at the time. But I thank you very much. Love You Guys! 💋
