Mike says It's Time For A Bird Sandwich

LSU dawns the Purple and Gold jerseys for the first time this year as they welcome Eastern Michigan U. to Tiger Stadium Saturday Night. The Eagles (1-3) should pose little problem for Leonard Fournette, and I suspect he runs for 150+ yards the first half and sits out the second. It's the last opportunity for the LSU offense to work out the 'big yardage gain penalty problem' before the tough schedule that lay ahead. Look for the air game to open up, and keep your eye on WR  Malachi Dupre, it may be his night to shine.

Elsewhere in the SEC:
                                                             The Game to Watch
The 3-1 Alabama Crimson Tide (#13)  travel to meet the 4-0 Georgia Bulldogs (#8).
With one conference lost, this is a must win for the Tide, with the Tennessee, LSU and Miss.St. games still ahead.  With their backs to a wall and going in as an underdog for the first time since 2009, this means just one thing:  BIG TROUBLE FOR THE DAWGS. There is no way in hell I'd bet against a Nick Saban coached team in a position like this. Bama shows their steel, hit their stride and shows the Ole Miss game was a fluke. Bama by 9.

#3 Ole Miss visits the swamp to play the Florida Gators (#25). As much as I'd like to see the Rebels upset, this is not the week. But they will again struggle, but victors in the end, even tough they should be penalized 6 points for having the ugliest color themed uniforms in the league. (Okay, it's just a girl thing). Ole' Miss by 13.

Diogenes @ 8-1 through week 4

CNN BREAKING NEWS: Joe Biden Still Not Running For President

Despite CNN’s recent love note to Vice President Joe Biden that it has voluntarily changed its own rules and will do all the backflips and blow kisses and do his laundry and wash his car if Old Joe will please, pretty please, run for president,  Biden has declined to accept the offer. At least for now. At this time. Winky winky, no definitive announcement, stay tuned, keep those fingers crossed!

Despite everyone in the Media reciting Biden’s name three times and clicking their heels to see if that might summon him into the Democratic primary, anonymous people who claim to know things say the same thing he’s been saying, which is that he has not decided to run for president. I guess the media are worried he’ll forget to let anyone know when he makes a decision one way or another.

The Media the party is feverishly behind the scenes begging for an alternative to Hillary Clinton.  We are doubled over with laughter that CNN voluntarily changed its rules to allow Joe to participate in the Democratic debate, if he so wishes, if he decides, if he changes his mind.....and with no missing airplane to go wall-to-wall with, Joe is their next best bet for ratings.

Ol' Joe has extended his window for deciding whether to jump into the 2016 presidential campaign, several Democrats say, allowing the contest to play out even longer before he answers one of the biggest questions hanging over the race for the White House.

Rumors of John Kerry and a Noble Peace Prize

Earl of Ketchup -The Duke of Heinz
WFB - Growing speculation that John Kerry will receive a Nobel Peace Prize for finalizing the Iranian nuclear deal is generating renewed criticism of his close relationship with the Iranian foreign minister, Javad Zarif, a key public face for the theocratic regime who is rumored to be a probable co-recipient with Kerry.
Rumors have been circulating for months that Kerry and Zarif will be co-selected for the prize. The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, a leading Swedish think-tank, recommended in July that the two be selected for the Nobel in 2016.
Lawmakers and Washington insiders who have worked for years on the Iran portfolio have reacted with shock to the rumors, telling the Washington Free Beacon in multiple interviews that both Kerry and Zarif are unfit to receive the prize:
“We have seen Nobel Prizes that appeared to be awarded to people who have acted staunchly to the detriment of Israel’s existence, and if that is their inclination this time, I think Secretary Kerry should be first runner up for the Nobel Prize, right behind the Ayatollah,” said Rep. Louie Gohmert (R., Texas)....."

A Noble Prize would be the 'Cream de la cream' of Kerry's tenure in office, who over the  difficult period of negotiations sustained 4 different serious wounds, including a broken leg, and awarded (to himself) a record number of  Purple Heart Medals for wounds sustained in service to his country.

National Weather Service Issues Very Creepy Hurricane Forecast

OBAMA: “This is something we should politicize.”

So it’s time for President Obama to heave another heavy sigh and address the nation once more, to suggest that we might want to put our heads together to figure out how to stop mass shootings in our country,  and once again blame an inanimate object for a tragedy.

Fails to mention "Campus Security" were Unarmed.
