This past Friday, rapper Azealia Banks unleashed a Twitter rant in which she demanded that the U.S. government fork over $100 trillion in reparations, reports the Daily News:

“ITS MY MONEY, AND I WANT IT NOWWWWW!!!!!!” Banks tweeted on Friday afternoon, after linking to stories from various newspapers describing the ways in which American Indians and Holocaust survivors have sought reparations from the American and German governments, respectively.

“Jews and Native Americans all got reparations because they organized. Please don’t let my ‘beef’ with hip-hop distract from what we need… To be focusing on. We are owed MAJOR F***ING BUCKS kids, MAJOR BUCKS.”

Keep in mind that this lunatic happens to be worth $3 million and grew up attending posh music schools in Manhattan. If you wade through all of her deranged and rather racist tweets, you find her premise to basically be that a disturbing number of contemporary blacks drop out of school, kill each other, wind up in prison, amass zero wealth and frankly fail at life because the government allegedly never accommodated them for slavery: 

"Stop making this about my ‘feelings’ because it’s not. This is about what the black people are legally OWED. Affirmative Action, Welfare and Medicaid are patronizing as hell if you ask me…. It’s like, ‘here, we built this entire economic superpower of a country off of your backs, so here’s a nickel for bread.’ At this point, it’s not even about race or cultural appropriation or any other that other annoying sh*t because the black youth has a bigger Battle to fight. More than we need to preserve our identity, we need to get our f*cking money. And I’m dead serious."

"Let these corny white people get their little black fantasies out, because they’re only put in place to distract us from the real issue. We need to get our money. F*ck all this other sh*t. A huge reparations payout would mean mass access to HIGH education for ALL blacks in this country. We could re-write the script."

Notice how she mentions affirmative action, which itself is a racist policy that benefits blacks by hurting others, including Asians. Also notice how she mentions the “patronizing” nature of welfare. This despite the fact that blacks keep voting for the same Democratic stooges whose entire agendas revolve around passing out handouts left and right.

Plus, and this is key, handing out reparations (especially $100 trillion) to every single black person in the country would destroy the economy and thus rip opportunity and freedom away from everybody, including black Americans. 

The people to whom reparations were owed are long dead; our duty is to the living, and to generations yet to come, and their interests are best served by liberty and prosperity, not by moral theater.

Even Jane Fonda needs a reminder of her fabulousness.

It never ceases to amaze me why Hollywood insist on reminding the world that they are nuttier then squirrel turds.....

At 77, the actress is building a “shrine” to herself that she hopes will boost her recently faltering confidence.

“I’ve found myself backsliding a bit of late in terms of where my thoughts have tended to reside (not always with the generosity of vision I wish for) and my confidence has been iffy for the past four months,” the stunning star wrote in a blog post Sunday, her 77th birthday.

“So, while meditating today an idea came to me: I’m going to create a shrine to myself – or, at least, the self I wish to be, the self who began to manifest when I was a young girl before the s–t hit the fan,” she continued.

The “shrine” will be a small place filled with items that remind Fonda of “the qualities that represent my best self.” So far, she plans to include a school report from the fourth grade.

She’ll spend the new year collecting objects and symbols that “remind me that I’m brave.”

“I’ve been forgetting that,” she revealed.

Brave is not necessarily the word that comes to mind when I think of you, Ms. Fonda.

Here we have a picture of Detroit Michigan, back when it was a hideous cesspool that lacked any semblance of diversity. Just look, this is Detroit in 1916.  Don't you feel disgusted?  

You don't see a single African-American expressing their culture. All the women are dress modestly in public because the white patriarchy insisted, believing leaving something to the imagination was a good thing or something silly like that. Not one gay porn shop in sight. Hell, no gays anywhere expressing their love, having to practice their lifestyle in private, and in the dark recesses of society. And no uncommitted interracial couples with their many bi-racial children walking through the crowded street.

And don't get me started on all the blatantly disgusting normative capitalist signs everywhere. Even the streets are revolting clean because of the white patriarchy's lackeys, the city's oppressive law enforcement that prowled the streets on foot with billy clubs in hand. 

It saddens me to look at this picture, then I look at modern Detroit, an interracial paradise of tolerance and diversity, and I breathe a sigh of relief. We liberals and progressives are going to fix the rest of America,  just like we did Detroit.

Associated Press Reveals Agenda of the Year

The Associated Press selected "Police Killings of Blacks" as its top story of 2014, downplaying the historic sweep by Republicans of the elections (No. 4 story), and the de facto legalization of gay marriage by the courts (No. 9), and completely ignoring President Obama

Inflating the importance of two non-criminal homicides into the Story of the Year is another example of Associated Press reporters and editors pushing the liberal agenda rather than reporting the news.

The Associated Press was misleading in its summary of its "top story," writing:

POLICE KILLINGS: Some witnesses said 18-year-old Michael Brown had his hands up in surrender, others said he was making a charge. But there was no dispute he was unarmed and shot dead by a white police officer in Ferguson. In New York City, another unarmed black, Eric Garner, was killed after a white officer put him in a chokehold during an arrest for unauthorized cigarette sales. After grand juries opted not to indict the officers, protests erupted across the country, punctuated by chants of "Hands up, don't shoot" and "I can't breathe." In both cases, federal officials launched investigations.

But the allegation that Michael Brown surrendered is based solely on the testimony of his accomplice. Physical evidence from three autopsies show that contention to be false. A more accurate summary would have said that.

And the real story is the riots and looting in the aftermath of misrepresentations of the Michael Brown killing, events which culminated this weekend in the executions by a black Muslim of an Asian-American police officer and a Hispanic police officer in New York City in an act of vengeance. 

If we are going to make this the story of the year -- and it is not -- then we are obligated to focus on the actual story: 

The riots and lawlessness.

To be sure, I have my agenda and biases, but I do not pretend to be an objective news organization.

The Cuban Delusion: Facts and Obama's Fancy Fallacy.

President Obama has, for some reason only known to himself, decided that now is a good time to reevaluate America's embargo sanctions on Cuba as if he has a better perspective on these sanction then have all the preceding American presidents in the past 50 plus years.  It's as if lifting these sanctions will somehow mystically and magically bring the communist dictatorship in Cuba to see the error of its ways and open up Cuba to a new and democratic nation.  It won't happen and Raul Castro, operational Thug in Chief and speaking for Thug in Chief Emeritus, older brother Fidel, has said there is no way Cuba will discard communism as it political basis.

I agree with Raul and kind of think that 50 years of communism under the Brothers Castro speaks volumes as to whether Cuba will ever move toward a democratic form of government while a Castro or an acolyte is in power.  It's a dictatorship and dictators only relent when faced with death.  Any other economic deterrent or incentive Obama could imagine is simply a delusion.  You cannot make nice with a communist dictatorship, period and that's an historical fact.

But, won't economic trade with Cuba force the Castro dictatorship to open up its society?  Absolutely not and here is why.

Obama claims that American trade will open up Cuba.  What makes Obama believe that something is unique about American trade?  Cuba has been trading, albeit in a very limited means, with over 100 nations around the world and communist Cuba has not changed one iota.  What, exactly, does Obama believe that Cuba has to offer America in trade?  Other than sugar, I can't think of anything that Cuba has that America wants or needs and sugar is readily available on the world market, not to mention that Cuban cane sugar competes with American beet sugar, which will not endear Obama with American beet producers.

There are foreign investments in Cuba that have gone nowhere in 50 plus years of communist Cuba's existence.  What makes Obama believe American businesses will rush to invest in Cuba?

Here's the unspoken reality about trade with Cuba.  Every foreign trade venture in Cuba is run through and by the Cuban government.  Foreign dollars (US$) come in and support the Cuban government desperate for American dollars, since the Cuban peso is valueless or to the extent that the Cuban government sets a fictitious trading value of their peso.  Cuban workers are paid by the government in pesos.  Guess who keeps the US dollars brought in with foreign trade?  You guessed it, the brothers Castro, Cuba's first family of institutionalized criminality.  It's reported that there are around 8,000 political prisoners in Cuba and another 50,000 Cuban 'dissidents' toiling away in "reeducation" camps throughout the Cuban Caribbean paradise.

Every time Obama has tried to make nice with authoritarian dictatorships around the world, his policies have failed miserably.  There is no known reason to believe that a similar rapprochement with Cuba will be anything but another failure.  Saying it will be different for some reason will not make it so.  The economic facts are what they are and they tell us that on an economic basis it will be failure.  One only has to look at a similar situation with Vietnam, which has failed to open up any democratic trappings in their government and economy since trade was established with America. 

The only tangible result from Obama's actions to date has been to alienate the Cuban American population, which I suspect Obama has already written off as Republican supporters and thus of no concern or consequence in his political calculation to lift sanctions on Cuba.  Meanwhile, Obama tries by dint of his own personality and salesmanship to project an aura of action as an example of his hope and change delusion.  

We all know where that's gotten America.

Propaganda comes in many forms. Hollywood has a long history of it. Just watch the war movies from the 40s, many of the sci-fi movies from the 50s, or Top Gun from the 80s to see that government and Tinsel Town tend to tango a lot. But for the State Department to give the OK (Why are they giving an OK?) to a movie about the assassination of a head of state is unusual. I think.

I say we all go on Netflix and watch Dr. Strangelove, have a cup of soothing green tea, and forget all about The Interview. My bet is that both Sony and the US Government would prefer that at this point too.

Surgeon General Position is No Place for Radical Politics

President Obama and current Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid, are not about to roll over in the face of the incoming Republican Senate majority.  Their first confirmation victory in the remaining days of the current congress occurred Monday evening with the confirmation of 37 year old Dr. Vivek Murthy as U.S. Surgeon General. 

Murthy's nomination has been in limbo since he was first nominated in 2013.  It seems everyone of Obama's nominations has been made on the basis of strong political allegiance to the president's radical ideological agenda, rather than what is in the best interest of America and Americans.  

The position of U.S. Surgeon General would seem to have no place for politics, but it is now obvious it has become politicized with the confirmation of a doctor with little practical experience and a strong desire to politicize the position along the exact radical political lines and agenda of the president.

What makes this otherwise nondescript position rather important in these times, revolves around two points to be made.  

Again, Dr. Murthy is medically inexperienced, which makes it questionable if he is actually qualified for the position of the nation's Surgeon General.  Murthy's greatest activity has been centered around his creation of an activist group called Doctors for America, which was originally called Doctors for Obama and is essentially a propaganda machine for all things on President Obama's agenda, the most significant of which is gun control of all things. 

The second and most important point to be made is that Murthy brings blatant politics to the position of Surgeon General.  In particular, he is a political hack with a political activist agenda bent upon using the power of his office to push for wide ranging and radical national gun control laws, rules and regulations by co-opting the lagging liberal gun control agenda and declaring guns to be a national health concern.  

Needless to say, the NRA considers Murthy a most serious detriment to an individual's exercise of their 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms.  Republicans in the new Congress will have to be very vigilant in monitoring  his activities as he uses his position as a bully pulpit for national gun control.  Republicans will be further challenged to rein in Murthy as he tries to use his position for gun control objectives.

Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) voted no because of his concern with Murthy's strident political activism in the anti-gun movement.  When Manchin voted against Murthy, you know there is concern among even some Democrats about Murthy's extreme activism on gun control issues.  However, even with Manchin's "no" vote, the Democrats managed a 51-43 vote for confirmation of Murthy with their current majority in the Senate, which will change on January 3, 2015, with a Republican majority of 54-46.

Here are some of the radical items on Dr. Murthy's agenda as Surgeon General as propounded by the group Doctors for America, which he founded.  Some of these items are recycled liberal goals, but some are even more radical than liberals have even thought to push for.

• A federal ban on the sale of assault weapons and ammunition
• Buyback programs
• Strengthening “regulations for guns used for hunting, sport, and self-protection”
• Universal background checks and licenses for anyone purchasing guns and ammunition
• Mandatory firearm safety training and testing
• Regulation of private sales and transfers of guns and ammunition
• Mandatory waiting periods of at least 48 hours
• Limits on the purchase of ammunition
• Better policing of neighborhoods with a high concentration of gun violence
• Prohibit laws preventing physicians from discussing gun safety with patients.
• Remove the provision in the Affordable Care Act and other federal policies that prohibit physicians from documenting gun ownership.
• Invest in improving access to mental health resources.
• Reinstating CDC and NIH funding for firearms injury and death prevention research.
• Removing restrictions in the Affordable Care Act and other legislation that prohibits databases and data collection on gun violence programs.
• Ensuring that newly implemented programs are studied carefully to assess impact.

The far left group MoveOn.org  is readying themselves to spend $1 million on a campaign to draft Elizabeth Warren into the 2016 presidential race, an indication of an appetite among some activists for a more progressive alternative to Hillary Rodham Clinton.

MoveOn.org’s executive director, Ilya Sheyman, said the group planned to open offices and hire staff in Iowa and New Hampshire, the states that kick off the presidential nominating process, and ultimately to air television ads in those states. The group will begin its push with a website, “Run Warren Run,” allowing supporters to sign a petition urging Ms. Warren to pursue a White House bid and featuring a video about her.

“We want to demonstrate to Senator Warren that there’s a groundswell of grass-roots energy nationally and in key states and to demonstrate there’s a path for her,” Mr. Sheyman said. He added that the effort was not being made in coordination with Ms. Warren and that the group advised her staff about it only last weekend."

Whether there is significant energy behind the “Run Warren Run” effort may be known soon: MoveOn.org is planning a kickoff on next Tuesday in Des Moines.

Even more disturbing than the extremely high rates of violent crime among blacks in our country is how almost invariably the criminals’ families, community leaders, media and government officials all the way up to the President and Attorney General of the United States aggressively run interference for them.

We’re now in an upside-down hell where criminals are exalted as heroes, and the heroes are treated like villains (even after juries sift through the facts and find no cause to accuse them).

The predatory wolf is seen as a noble martyr, while the brave sheepdog is vilified and banished from his job for the sin of doing his job.  This nightmare-narrative has taken hold all across the land in the form of a poisonous miasma which is force-fed to schoolchildren at the earliest possible age, in order to guarantee new generations of zombies who think naming streets, scholarships, and public buildings after a violent thug like Michael Brown is something socially responsible people do, while innocent and courageous sentries named George Zimmerman, Darren Wilson, and Daniel Pantaleo are forced into hiding, with no real future expectation for being able to make a living or move around safely.

It’s easy to predict the continued, long-range ramifications of such insanity.

For decades, we’ve had a leviathan government bureaucratic apparatus staffed by legions of pretentious do-gooders which perpetuates itself by aggressively subsidizing and enabling poor adolescent girls and women in doing the one thing that ensures, more than anything else, that they will remain in the perpetual cycle of poverty: Have children out-of-wedlock.

When liberals ushered in the massive welfare state which pays unmarried women ever-increasing amounts for each additional illegitimate child they crank out, they knew (and counted on) two things:

Obama / Clinton Blood Feud is Coming to Pass and it Won't be Pretty

Earlier this year political writer Edward Klein published a book entitled, "Blood Feud", subtitled, "The Clintons vs. the Obamas", which now looks like it was quite prescient in its predictions of the Obamas supporting someone other than Hillary Clinton for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination.  A reading of Klein's book is very revealing in its insights into the long standing and continuing animosity between the Obamas and the Clintons that runs deep and wide ranging, despite all the 'kiss ups' in public.

Obama, admittedly the quintessential manipulating masterful politician and especially outstanding  campaigner/fundraiser, has been quietly and subtly pushing for someone of his own radical political ilk to confront Hillary and upset her apple cart along the way to the 2016 Democratic National Convention.  It has now surfaced that 300 former Obama campaign staffers have rallied round the idea of Elizabeth 'Fauxcahontas' Warren, recently minted United States Senator in 2012, as the Democratic presidential nominee.

This group of 300 former Obama staffers have organized a group called "Ready for Warren" with an open letter to Elizabeth Warren.  The contents of the letter included these observations from the group.

We believed in an unlikely candidate who no one thought had a chance.

We worked for him — and against all odds, we won in Iowa.

We organized like no campaign had organized before — and won the Democratic primary.

We built a movement — and the country elected the first-ever African American president.

We know that the improbable is far from impossible.

Now, former staffers from President Obama’s campaigns, along with former staffers from OFA, are joining with the thousands of Americans who are calling on Elizabeth Warren to run for president in 2016.

Rising income inequality is the challenge of our times, and we want someone who will stand up for working families and take on the Wall Street banks and special interests that took down our economy.

We urge Elizabeth Warren to run for president in 2016.

Expect to see Elizabeth Warren, despite protestations to the contrary, to run against Hillary.  The money will be there at her disposal from the multitudinous sources cultivated by the master campaigner and fundraiser, Barack Obama.  All Obama has to do is call in all the chits he has planted among the rich and powerful liberals in high places in business and banking.  Obama, the socialist who has, for tactical and strategic purposes, morphed into a corporatist for pragmatic political purposes, has the power and forces necessary to anoint Elizabeth Warren as his successor to his mantle of the radical liberal as president

Forget about Warren supposedly challenging Obama over the CRomnibus bill and it diminishing the Dodd-Frank legislation regulating financial institutions.  This pales in comparison to the long standing animosity between the Obamas and the Clintons.  On the plus side, it gives Warren the image of being independent of Obama, all the while utilizing his political influence and campaign resources to challenge Hillary.  Dizzy Lizzie may be saying she won't run, but that's only good until the moment she announces that she will run.  Expect it to happen since there simply is no other Democrat that could possibly be viewed with winning potential.  It's either going to be Hillary or Lizzy and I'm putting my betting money on Lizzy when I look toward who will be supporting her and all the resources Obama brings to the fight for the future of the Democrat Party.

The real problem that both Hillary and Lizzy have to overcome is that America does not appear to share their thought of continuing the failed radical liberal policies of a warmed over mutation of Barack Obama.  Hillary has a more formidable challenge to separate herself from Obama.  Warren is not burdened with all that Obama administration baggage that Hillary has to drag to the campaign trail.

Diogenes' Holiday Party and Celebrity Beer Bust

In the spirit of the season and to celebrate a great year at DMF, I decided to kick in some cash and throw a holiday party at DMF/MFNS headquarters to show my appreciation for the friends of DMF, the contributors, regular readers and commenters and fellow bloggers. (If your invitation didn't show up, it got lost in the mail, honest). And considering all the movies and television episodes that are filmed in the area, I also put out a blanket invitation to DMF fans in the entertainment industry. The invite list was long, the attendance impressive. 

A good time was had by all......

We knew it was going to be a hell of a party when some of the first guests to arrive
were party girls Lindsay Lohan and Brittney Spears.

Larry Fishburne dropped in for awhile with his main squeeze Gina Torres on his arm 
and a bowl of Larry's killer Jalapeno cheese dip in tow.

Alec Baldwin rolled in and offered to handle bartender duties for us.  Unfortunately, 
while standing in line to use the bathroom, he punched a guest who tried to take his picture, and he had to be asked to leave.

And see who else came and partied with us.....

And what's a party without at least one drunken Sailor. The United States Navy was
well represented by Retired Naval Aviator, Captain John McCain.

Eminent Global Climate Expert Albert Gore showed up but didn't stay long.
He complained it was inconveniently too hot in the house for his liking.
Fat boy sweats a lot.

This guy claimed to be Bill Murry. He had no I.D. but the dog liked him so we let him stay.

David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O’Brien and Jimmy Fallon all made the party. 
An impromptu comedy monologue-shoot out between the four never materialized
after Letterman wet his pants waiting in the bathroom line. 
All four secretly admitted they've stolen material from Middle Finger News.

Snoop Dogg came by to have a cold one and drop off a big bag of........party favors.

 A few of the ladies didn't seem to mind Leo DiCaprio couldn't keep his hands to himself.
But thankfully he soon disappeared, as did my fondue pot and $6.23 from the beer fund.

Keanu Reeves kept everybody entertained with his stories of roaming North Hollywood 
dressed in old Lady Gaga costumes, and said "Whoa" a lot.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was there to help keep the peace if things got out of hand, 
and made quick work of ridding us of Alec Baldwin. Mr. Rock also easily won 
hands down the DMF Kitchen Table Arm Rustling Competition.

A close eye had to be kept on Tom Cruise all night. After just one beer he started calling
all the women Nicole and insist we let him take off his pants and dance around the
living room in his underwear. 

But the surprise arrival of the night was none other than the President himself. 
He grudgingly admitted he did occasionally read DMF, but only after he heard of us
during an NSA briefing.  He said he stopped by because he knew there would be real food 
and to hand out some resumes to the guest for future consideration for employment. 
He also took time to lodged a small complaint about the Santa Skivvies Run picture.

IN MY DREAMS!

These pictures are actually the handy work of graphic designer Everett Hiller. He and his wife host an annual Holiday party for their friends. Afterwards, Hiller sends out a photo album with famous celebrities photoshopped in for fun. While some may look a little fishy, others are near-flawless, as Hiller’s skills with lighting, white balance adjustment, and color really shine.

 Finding the perfect shot to fit the context of the party scene requires a keen eye and the results speak for themselves. You can see the entire 55-picture album on Imgur.
