Nancy Garners Enough Votes To Remain Dem Leader

Pelosi Worked the Dem Caucus Hard To Remain House Leader

Congrats Democrats, it’s official! Nancy Pelosi worked the democrat caucus hard so that she might retain her position as Badass Bosslady Of House Democrats. The votes have now been tallied, and yup, she will continue to be Badass Bosslady Of the left in the next Congress! She managed to blow pass a challenge by Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan, who ran a tradition campaign and gathered only 63 votes compared to Pelosi’s 134.

Barring any unfortunate incident of her face cracking wide open or her stitches popping loose and wounding nearby colleagues, she will remain the queen and shepherd the Democrats through the valley of the shadow of death of Trump..

Nan took to the tweeter thing to announce her victory:

The Remnants of Democratic Ideology:

"After the Democratic equality-of-opportunity agenda was largely realized (Social Security, Medicare, overtime, a 40-hour work week, disability insurance, etc.), the next-generation equality-of-result effort has largely failed.
What is left of Democratic ideology is identity politics and assorted dead-end green movements as conservation has become radical environmentalism and fairness under the law is now unapologetic redistributionism. The 2016 campaign and the frenzied reaction to the result are reminders that the Left is no longer serious about formulating and advancing a practical agenda. In sum, for now it is reduced to a party of teeth-gnashers. ...
The Democratic party for now is reduced to a loud racist/sexist/homophobe broken record that fewer and fewer are listening to -- including many of the Democratic elites who continue to play it." — Victor Davis Hanson

We Almost Scored Us Another Joe Biden

H/T WZ

☪☪☪☪☪

Abdul Razak Ali Artan has been identified as the POS who ran over and stabbed 9 people on the Ohio State University campus Monday morning. Officials still aren’t ready to call this a terrorist attack, but it was a terrorist attack. Before campus police killed him, Artan was a devout Muslim who ironically didn’t like that the media portrayed Muslims as terrorists. So as a Muslim he committed an act of terror to prove them wrong.

When Hatred and Misconception Take Command

I for one have enjoyed immensely the communal freak-out of the left over the election of Donald Trump. None more then the one group that has probably the least to worry about. After 8 years of Barack Obama and the worship of a man who did little for them as a people, coupled with the mistaken idea that there would never be another Republican in the White House again (certainly never another white male) the butt hurt of the black community is epic.

I have a great amount of contact with older black musicians in my business, those who in the past lived through Jim Crow, segregation and the fear of being caught in the wrong parts of town, who shake their heads in disbelief at what they hear from young blacks today. And what is it that young radical blacks fear from Mr. Trump?

Is it that he wants to uphold the nations laws of immigration so unemployed blacks can have jobs and not be robbed of their tax money?  Is it that he wants to help make their neighborhoods safer so their children can play on the street corners without fear of being shot in a drive by? Is it that he wants to bring back our industrial base so blacks can continue to rise to the middle class. Is it that he wants to reform health care so everyone can afford it without costing them all there extra wages. Is it that he wants to improve the education system so they can send their children to the same good schools the wealth race pimps they worship send their children? Is it that he wants the illegal alien criminals who run free deported to the country they came from. etc, etc,etc.....

No, what they fear is that the country is not theirs as they believed it became with the election of Barack Obama. Their new mantra of BLM and White Privilege is now their clarion call. Hate is their platform.

What they fail to realize is that Donald Trump could just be the best thing that has happened to the Blacks in America in their lifetime. But the exaggerated hate they teach their offspring of White America stands in the way real hope for them and their children.

Below is an essay by one such radical idealist, Ijoema Oluo, who's twisted vision of America has clouded her life....and ultimately her hope for a better life in the future.

What I'm Doing To Get My Black Ass Ready Next 4 Years

We are now less than two months away from the ascendancy of the Great Orange Hate Clown. To say that it has been weighing on me is an understatement. Words are so inadequate to describe the feelings of fear, dread, sadness, and betrayal I’m feeling as the year draws to a close, that this writer wonders what words really are for. But I cannot just sit at my computer typing “fuck” over and over again; there is work to do.

I know that we will be in for a fight. So right now, while we still have a president who recognizes my humanity, I have to prepare.

Here are some things that I’m doing to get my black ass ready for the next four years of resistance. This is centered on my own personal experience as a black woman, so these tips may not all be helpful for all marginalized populations who are most at risk from this upcoming administration. But nonetheless, I hope it will help some of my brothers and sisters in struggle as we get ready to battle together.

I’m going to the doctor. One of the first things I did after election day was make an appointment to see my doctor. I am fortunate enough to have insurance here at The Establishment, and Obamacare was a wonderful safety net if that ever should change in my ever volatile world of freelance writing. But that safety net is in danger, and it puts the health of millions at risk.

I’m meeting with my children’s schools. My two boys have been greatly impacted by this election already. They are terrified and hurt, and they are at school trying to figure out what this all means for them. The day after the election I met with administrators at my sons’ schools (high school and elementary) and talked with them. We discussed what they were doing to help kids process all of these emotions that they were bringing to school. We discussed what they were doing to make sure that kids from marginalized populations felt safe in school. We discussed what they were doing to empower students in disempowering times. Hearing their plans, giving my input, and opening that line of communication with my children’s schools has made me much more confident in my children’s ability to get through these upcoming years.

I’m strengthening ties with my community of color. We are going to need each other. We are going to need to be each other’s safe space. I’ve been talking more and touching base with my intersectional community of color—both in person and online. We’re providing comfort to each other, but also strengthening the bonds that we’re going to need next year.

I’m reaffirming boundaries with allies. I, and many other people of color, have been inundated with requests for emotional, physical, and mental labor from allies who feel particularly lost after these election results. They want to help but just “need you to please tell them exactly what they should be doing to help destroy this system of white supremacy” that they benefit from, own stock in, and maintain. I’m reminding people that if I could remove their boot off my neck I would have, but it’s their foot—whether they want to believe it or not. I’m offering advice en masse when I have the emotional bandwidth, suggesting people do their research when I don’t. My altruistic reserves must go first to those less privileged than myself and that means I need firm boundaries in place with privileged allies.

I’m identifying programs. I’m doing my research for civil rights groups, legal aid, and activism groups I may need in the future. I’m identifying where the movements are and ways in which I can help. I’m also identifying groups that I will need to support in the upcoming years—immigrant rights groups, transgender aid groups, disability advocacy groups, reproductive justice orgs, legal defense funds, government watchdog groups, and more. I’m realigning and increasing my monthly giving to fit these new needs.

I’m prioritizing my mental and physical health. It’s not just about going to the doctor. I’m going to need stability at home in order to fight in the streets. I’m starting up a fitness routine, and I’m buying real food for my fridge. I’m writing this essay from my office and not my bed. I’ve started up my meditation routine again. I’m going to need at least some of this to be habit by January 20th. I keep reminding myself, “I have to outlive this tangerine terror.”

I’m making lists. Like this list. Lists are a little bit of empowerment on paper. List what you have, what you need, what you can do. Write it all down and look at it often.

Things are dark right now, and they are about to get darker. It’s so easy to drown in it all. The news stories of reinvigorated hate, the rapid transformation of our government from a racist white boys club to a REALLY racist white boys club, whatever’s going on with Kanye (I’m for real worried about him you guys, let’s check on him, he’s still our people)—it’s too much if that’s all we see. So each day, while I’m also making an effort to stay informed of present and upcoming efforts, I’m also making an effort to seek out those who are doing great work right now, both locally and nationally. We are going to have to be each other’s motivation in the upcoming years. We have to see each other’s light.

So there you have it: what I’m doing to get my black ass ready for the next four years. This list will likely grow and change, but right now, it’s getting me through with some strength and confidence.

The Midget Unveils His First 100 Days of Trump Resistance Agenda

ROBERT REICH SEEN HERE DISCUSSING ECONOMICS WITH A RECENT.......DATE

The little midget is at it again. He intends to turn his mighty powers against Donald Trump's first 100 day's with a call to all to adopt his Trump resistance agenda. According to Reich, Trump’s First 100 Day plan includes repealing environmental regulations, Obamacare, and the Dodd-Frank Act, giving the evil rich a huge tax cut, and much worse.......

Here’s the details of his 'Resistance Agenda':
1. Get Democrats in the Congress and across the country to pledge to oppose Trump’s agenda. Prolong the process of approving choices, draw out hearings, stand up as sanctuary cities and states. Take a stand. Call your senator and your representative (phone calls are always better than writing).
2. March and demonstrate—in a coordinated, well-managed way. The “1 Million Women March” is already scheduled for the Inauguration —and will be executed with real skill.   There will be “sister” marches around the country—in LA and elsewhere. They need to be coordinated and orchestrated. And then? 1 Million Muslims? 1 Million Latinos? What would keep the momentum alive and keep the message going?
3. Boycott all Trump products, real estate, hotels, resorts, everything. And then boycott all stores (like Nordstrom) that carry merchandise from Trump family brands.
4. Letters to Editors: A national letter-writing campaign, from people all over the country, every walk of life and every level of society, from celebrities to sports heroes to grassroots Americans. In most papers, the Letters to the Editor section is the most-read part of the paper.
5. Op-Eds: A steady flow of arguments about the fallacies and dangers of Trump’s First 100 Day policies and initiatives, from name-brand thinkers and doers to ordinary folk writing for their city’s or community’s newspaper.
6. Social media: What about a new YouTube channel devoted to video testimonials about resisting Trump’s First 100 Day Agenda? Crowd-sourced ideas, themes and memes. Who wants to start it?
7. Website containing up-to-date daily bulletins on what actions people are planning around the country, and where, so others can join in. Techies, get organized.
8. Investigative journalism: We need investigative journalists to dig into the backgrounds of all of Trump’s appointees, in the White House, the Cabinet, Ambassadors and judges.
9. Lawsuits: Our version of “Drill, baby, drill” is “Sue, baby, sue.” Throw sand in the gears. Lawyers, get organized.
10. Coordinated fund-raising: Rather than having every public-interest group appeal on their own, have a coordinated fundraising program to fill the coffers of the most endangered and effective opposition groups. Is there a way to do a televised fundraiser with celebrities raising money for the Resistance?
11. Symbolic opposition: Safety pins are already appearing. What else? What more? Make the resistance visible with bumper stickers, a label pin, a branding campaign that has great language, great logo, great wrist band (remember the Lance Armstrong “Livestrong” yellow wrist band—it sold millions!).
12. Intellectual opposition: Take Trump on where he’s weakest—with serious ideas. I’ll try to do my part. You do yours, too.
13. Serious accountability: Establish performance metrics to evaluate his delivery on his campaign promises. An updated web site of promises made and not kept. This is one especially suited to public policy students.
The First 100 Days Resistance Agenda. We’re not going away.
Yeah, we know your not going away anytime soon. Neither did that persistent cough I had last time I had a cold, until I gave it a good dose of medicine.....

Obama Issues Statement on Castro. So does Trump. There's Quite a Contrast

First here's Obama's:
At this time of Fidel Castro’s passing, we extend a hand of friendship to the Cuban people. We know that this moment fills Cubans - in Cuba and in the United States - with powerful emotions, recalling the countless ways in which Fidel Castro altered the course of individual lives, families, and of the Cuban nation. History will record and judge the enormous impact of this singular figure on the people and world around him.
For nearly six decades, the relationship between the United States and Cuba was marked by discord and profound political disagreements. During my presidency, we have worked hard to put the past behind us, pursuing a future in which the relationship between our two countries is defined not by our differences but by the many things that we share as neighbors and friends - bonds of family, culture, commerce, and common humanity. This engagement includes the contributions of Cuban Americans, who have done so much for our country and who care deeply about their loved ones in Cuba.
Today, we offer condolences to Fidel Castro's family, and our thoughts and prayers are with the Cuban people. In the days ahead, they will recall the past and also look to the future. As they do, the Cuban people must know that they have a friend and partner in the United States of America.
Here's Trump's Statement:
While Cuba remains a totalitarian island, it is my hope that today marks a move away from the horrors endured for too long, and toward a future in which the wonderful Cuban people finally live in the freedom they so richly deserve.
Though the tragedies, deaths and pain caused by Fidel Castro cannot be erased, our administration will do all it can to ensure the Cuban people can finally begin their journey toward prosperity and liberty.  I join the many Cuban Americans who supported me so greatly in the presidential campaign, including the Brigade 2506 Veterans Association that endorsed me, with the hope of one day soon seeing a free Cuba.

To All The Readers of DMF........

We Wish You All A Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving Holiday.
We Have Much To Be Thankful For.

Enough Already

No one died. No war was lost. No one was diagnosed with an incurable disease. A candidate lost her bid for elected office. She was not entitled to the office. It wasn’t bequeathed to her. It wasn’t “her” time simply because she’s a she. She had to earn it. She didn’t. She lost.
Winning and losing happens all the time in a Republic. Heck, it happens all the time in life. People lose jobs, lose relatives, lose relationships, lose money, lose games, lose weight. People find love, embrace careers, have babies, build businesses, win games, gain weight. Sometimes good things happen to bad people. Sometimes bad things happen to good people.
Used to be, when troubling mysteries (like losing something one had staked her whole life on) afflicted someone, she’d get on her knees, pray for wisdom and understanding, read the Good Book, go to church, get some heavenly perspective, and go about her business. Now that secularism is the religion, people turn to each other and freak out. Granted, if salvation depended on the smelly hippie standing next to me, I’d freak out, too.
The world has had enough of President Mom Jeans and was not interested in being hectored by grandma for four or eight years. It’s time to get some shit done and that means sucking it up, dealing with the loss, and going to work. Either you’re the loyal opposition, or maybe, just maybe, there’s some common ground that can be found so that something wonderful can happen.
We’re Americans. We’re better than cry-ins and safety pins and foot-stomping marches that end in self-destructive riots in Democrat-run cities. - Melissa Mackenzie

Keith Olbermann Crawls Out from Under Rock, Completely Abandons Sanity

Offers to Lead 'resistance' to Save America

No matter how calm they may appear, know this: Democrats, socialists, and progressives are absolutely freaking out. Oh sure, they can sometimes hold it together in public. Occasionally, they make it through a dinner, a light lunch, or even a three-minute TV segment without losing control of their fear and paranoia. For brief spells, they may even seem like sane, high-functioning adults. Rest assured, though. The minute they slam the door of their lonely-but-upscale New York apartments, America's liberal brain trust melts down into sobbing fits of abject self-pity and loss.

Then, they get angry. You made them feel this way. YOU. You and your insipid refusal to acknowledge their inherent intellectual superiority. Their hatred swells until they reach the boiling point and they lash out in a serious of rambling, barely-coherent tantrums.

Case in point is Keith Olbermann.

Keith, you'll recall, used to host a variety of different TV shows. He was pretty sure he was very important. Unfortunately, he wasn’t. He lost it all because he's nothing more than a mean, self-aggrandizing blowhard - a man reviled by his co-workers and viewed as little more than a loose-cannon and liability by his superiors. Olbermann repeatedly found himself out of work.

Now, he's re-appeared as the host of a series of GQ YouTube videos he calls "The Resistance." Judging by the production value, they're filmed in a closet somewhere and are crafted with all the care normally reserved for those ladies who open toy eggs for children.

Oh, and did we mention he's ramped up the crazy? Because he has. Where once he would be categorized as "unjustifiably angry" or "slightly unhinged," Keith now appears to have completely lost his mind and entered a rage-induced mental fugue.

Obama Confirms He will Remain a Prick

With Ma Clinton rebuked and put away wet and the far left superstars Bernie Sanders and Lizzy Warren circling Political Jupiter somewhere, it looks like Barky will try and set himself up as the reasoned voice of the Democrats. When asked if he will be like former President George W. Bush and pledge to stay out of politics and not criticize decisions made by his successor his answer was no surprise for the guy who believed he was always the smartest in the room.

At a press conference Sunday the president said he does not believe he will be the last Democratic president, for a while, and made no promise to not speak up if he feels it to be "helpful" and "necessary" for him to comment on President-elect Trump's proposals.
"Look, I said before, President Bush could not have been more gracious to me when I came in and my intention is to certainly for the next two months. As an American citizen who cares deeply about our country, if there are issues that have less to do with the specifics of some legislative proposal but go to core questions about our values and our ideals, and if I think that it is necessary or helpful for me to defend those ideals, I'll examine it when it comes."
And you can believe that after Barky and Mooch decided to stay in DC after he leaves office, the man who has divided the country as no other in modern times will continue to do so as the voice of the opposition in interviews on Sunday Talk shows. And his adoring lap-dog anti-Trump media will have his phone number and email just waiting with baited breath his every word and prognostication.

Chucky Schumer's Stupidity is Showing

LFR-In his first interview with FNC’s Chris Wallace since being elected Senate Minority Leader, Sen. Chuck Schumer sounds like he’s prepared to help Senate Democrats commit political suicide. During Schumer’s interview with Chris Wallace, he said “ObamaCare, he won’t be able to do it.”

Let’s hope Sen. Schumer is that stupid. If he’s willing to obstruct legislation that would fix Obamacare, then Democrats will deserve the beating they’ll take during the 2018 midterm election. These aren’t people that are mildly upset. They’re people who are pissed at Democrats for creating this disaster. If Schumer filibusters an Obamacare repair bill, he should expect President Trump visiting Democratic senators in September and October, 2018. Specifically, Sen. Schumer should expect colleagues like Joe Donnelly, Jon Tester, Claire McCaskill, Heidi Heitkamp, Bill Nelson, Sherrod Brown and Tim Kaine to face difficult re-election fights. Tammy Baldwin’s seat is rated as a ‘safe Democratic’ seat even though she won with only 51% of the vote in 2012. If Republicans field an appealing candidate (Sean Duffy comes to mind), that seat is anything but safe after President-Elect Trump’s victory there.

Further, a Trump administration could highlight the Democrats’ obstructionism by granting waivers for all states who want to experiment with something different. The beautiful part about that is the fact that there’s a provision in the ACA that allows the Secretary of HHS to grant such waivers. The ads virtually write themselves. The ads would say something like ‘Sen. Heitkamp voted to create Obamacare. Now it’s costing North Dakota residents millions in higher insurance premiums. You’d think that Sen. Heitkamp would vote to fix this crisis but she won’t. If she won’t fix the mess she created, voters should replace her with someone who will fix this crisis.’

It’s one thing to fight against repealing a popular bill. It’s quite another to fight to save a bill that’s wildly unpopular. Fighting against fixing Obamacare is the political equivalent of making a quick movement towards a cobra.

Albert the Gator Meets Thunder and Lightning

Much has been said about the non meeting in the Swamp at Gainesville between the Florida Roosters Gators and the LSU Tigers on October 8th. In hindsight I'm sure the Gators are wishing they had taken the chance and played the unproven 3-2 Tigers rather then the battle hardened 6-3 team they face this Saturday.

Since then things have become heated between the two teams. Florida's gambit to avoid a loss and keep their ranking high has come back to bite them in the ass.

Now they will have to face a hungry Tiger team in their final game this season in Baton Rouge, and with a Sugar Bowl appearance in their sight. The Tigers have lost only 2 games in Death Valley since the loss to Alabama in Nov. 2014 and are 5-0 at home this year and going for a perfect home-stand season.

The much vaunted Gator defense will have to control the line of scrummage else Thunder and Lightning (#7 &#5) may gas them big time. And I don't really see a problem with the Tiger defense controlling an often toothless Gator offense. I suspect Austin Appleby may be spending a bit of time picking himself up off the ground this week.

And You guys in Knoxville can thank us later. ;)

I say Tigers by 12+  ✖  (expletive deleted)

Elsewhere:
Auburn over Alabama A&M by 10 ✔
Tennessee over Missouri by 14
West Virginia over Oklahoma by 6 ✖
Nebraska over Maryland by 12

After going 3-1 in week 8 , a loss to Alabama in Week 9, coupled with 3-3 last week, Diogenes is 20-9 on the year.

Two Turds in a Punch Bowl

Not Surprising Since Both Have Worked So hard to F**k Up Western Civilization

What do you get with a girl raised under brainwashed East German domination and a Community Organizer with deep seeded dislike of white culture and all it stands for?  Two Turds in a punch bowl.  Both have damaged the security of the west with their Utopian fantasies by opening up the gates to the third world destruction of European civilization.

For Obama, Merkel is something of a political soul mate. No other world leader so closely matches Obama’s ideology of tireless diplomacy with an emphasis on human rights, tolerance and equality. (as if human rights, tolerance and equality are share values of muslims they allow to flood the west).  Sharing similar temperaments, Merkel and Obama forged a friendship that helped broker several major agreements — including a deal to curb Iran’s nuclear program (or better said, got rolled like a drunk in an alley) and sanctions against Russia for its annexation of Crimea and intervention in eastern Ukraine (that laughing you hear is coming from the Kremlin).

When asked while in Germany to weigh in on U.S. protesters turning out in cities across the nation, Obama said,
“I would not advise people who feel strongly or who are concerned about some of the issues that have been raised during the course of the campaign, I wouldn’t advise them to be silent.”
This we should expect from someone who sowed so much division and hatefulness of America and for all it has stood for, his attempt at a federal power grab with his pen and his destructive browning of America. Rebuked, he'll be remembered as another Useful Idiot, a foolish footnote in American history. The other remembered as the architect of the beginning of the end of a once great civilization, regulated to the trash heap of European history.

LSU Student Brilliantly Trolls Anti-Trump Protesters

The Hayride:

This was a work of art that was published in "The Daily Reveille", which is LSU’s student newspaper. The “student”, named “Felipe Fuentes” wrote a letter that complained about the trauma he and other Trump opponents suffered.

Here’s the letter:

Last week, The Daily Reveille reported that University students disturbed by Donald Trump’s electoral coup d’etat met in a safe space to offer one another emotional support and have an “unapologetic conversation” about our nation’s current state of affairs. Since the meeting, my fellow attendees have endured vicious attacks from self-described “Trump trolls.”
In walking around campus, I’ve heard a number of these Trump trollers refer to students suffering from PTSD (Post-Trump Stress Disorder) as “delicate snowflakes,” “Clinton cry babies,” “Crying Cosbys” (not sure why) and “whiny little b*tches.” This sort of hurtful language and unrestrained speech has absolutely no place in our democracy or on a campus as diverse and as respectful of alternative views and free speech as ours.
I, as a Chilean refugee, self-identify as a progressive and as a Hispanic (gender TBD), and I was one of these “delicate snowflakes” whose fragile heart was shattered by Trump’s use of the democratic process to secure his authoritarian rise to power. Tragically, this “delicate little flower’s” healing process has yet to take root amid the toxic genetically modified soil that currently infects our campus.
Fortunately, I have a simple solution for bringing about true healing and social justice on our campus. The University should grant those of us who have been traumatized by Trump’s takeover unlimited access to a completely safe and insulated healing space right here on campus – a place where we can shield ourselves from this traumatic reality for however long we need to repair our shattered hearts and psyches.
The LSU AgCenter Greenhouse would be the ideal space, given our widely shared love for the environment and aversion to carbon dioxide and genetically modified foods. But the University owes us more than just an environmentally-friendly safe space. It also owes us a sense of security from outsiders who might seek to infringe on our way of life.
I therefore propose the University build a wall around our greenhouse, lined with bubble wrap from the inside and sharp shards of glass on the outside, to keep out people who aren’t like us and therefore might threaten our delicate sensibilities. It should be a big, beautiful wall. And it should have a big, beautiful door for those who would like to truly begin the emotional healing process.
Most importantly, the University should make the college Republicans pay for this wall. Let’s face it: the college Republicans aren’t sending their best and brightest to our campus. They’re sending marauders. They’re sending Trump trolls. Worst of all, they’re sending radical evangelical terrorists and it’s about time someone has the courage to use the term.
That’s why I am bravely calling for a total and complete shutdown of all white privileged students entering our safe space until our University’s representatives can figure out what the hell is going on. This is common sense, folks. We have to do it. To the extent we do allow any privileged white males into our safe space, we should subject them to extreme vetting. I’m talking big league.
I realize these proposals might seem radical. But desperate times call for desperate measures. Our country and our campus is being stolen from us by citizens who think they can use the democratic process to achieve their desired ends. The world is changing too fast, and many of us feel like we can’t keep up. We can’t find jobs anymore.
We don’t feel safe anymore. We don’t beat Alabama anymore. Donald Trump has taken the tiny snow globes we’ve become so accustomed to into his tiny Cheeto-covered hands and turned our world upside down. Simply put, this is not the sort of “change we should believe in.”
If we truly want to make this campus and this country great again, I’m asking the progressive wing of the LSU student body to come together inside our isolated little echo chamber and get behind this wall. Behind this wall, we can feel safe again. And the only thing we’ll have to fear is freedom itself. Students of the LSU community, unite. We have nothing to lose but our change.
Felipe Fuentes self-identifies as a 27-year-old non-matriculating student at Louisiana State University.  Clearly, the writer wasn’t just trolling left-wing nuts, he was also trolling Trump and conservatives as well. It was a part of why the letter was brilliant. It dinged everybody, which is the best kind of political comedy.

Federal Emotional Disaster Relief in Full Swing

The reaction to the election of Donald Trump caught many by surprise. The virtual psychotic breakdown of the left was not expected and has overwhelmed the mental health profession in many areas. In response, FEMA, the federal agency in charge of disaster assistance has set up hundreds of emergency safe spaces around the country where residents still traumatized by the presidential election outcome can find safety and psychological comfort.

“These safe spaces are shelters where afflicted individuals can get free hugs, listen to soothing indie folk music with lyrics that reaffirm progressive values, and in general make the hurt go away,” said Frank Lee, FEMA’s director of Emotional Disaster Relief. “Lots of Americans have been left despondent, confused and rather whiny, and we want them to know we’re here to help."

Lee, the director of Emotional Disaster Relief, says that many of the victims of this election cycle will require long-term care and will spend months or even years maniacally cursing uneducated whites and promising to leave the country. Despite the high costs of keeping these shelters operational, he insists that his agency will continue to carry out its mission for as long as necessary. But still, he says, Congress will need to do more.

By the end of this week, FEMA will have set up 650 temporary safe spaces on college campuses and in urban centers in all 21 blue states and four red states, according to agency officials. Construction will soon begin on 400 permanent safe space facilities, some of which might be ready in time for Trump’s January 20 inauguration.

Sunshine Haynes, a graduate student who is volunteering at a FEMA safe space camp near the University of California in Los Angeles, says that she has helped dozens of psychically damaged students, many of whom were found wandering around campus in a fugue state following an anti-Trump protest.

“They were all first-time voters who felt entitled to the outcome they badly wanted, so when it was announced their candidate had lost, they went into shock,” Haynes said. “Some were weeping, others were rambling incoherently about dismantling the Electoral College or seeking asylum in Canada, and all of them had peed on themselves — a telltale sign of election-year trauma. Very sad.”

According to Haynes, one young woman who was found unconscious outside UCLA’s Powell Library after witnesses said she was screaming at lamp-posts and wandering aimlessly for a time before she seized up and fell head first into the bushes.

“We put her in a dimly lit room with lots of non-gendered plush animals and let her watch a few hours of Bob Ross painting a forest, and a volunteer from the political science department explained to her how elections work, and she’s okay now,” Haynes continued. “But can you imagine how things could have ended if we hadn't been there? She’d probably be on a bus to New York City this very moment to write for Salon.com.”

Clinton Comes Out of Hiding To Make First Appearance Since Concession Speech

Hillary Clinton will make her first public appearance Wednesday night since conceding to Donald Trump last week.

Clinton is expected to give a speech at the Children’s Defense Fund Beat the Odds Celebration in Washington, D.C. An unnamed aide told CNN that the speech will be part reflection, part pledge to remain strong and continue to support the crybabies in the streets in the face of four years of a Trump presidency.
The speech is an opportunity to underscore Hillary's continuing commitment to the causes and values that have always motivated her work as a criminal advocate and self aggrandizer public servant .

Maybe This Will Help Take a Little of the Sting Out......

Canadians Invite California, Oregon and Washington to join Canada

While our neighbors to the north finally learned to play baseball (hadn't caught onto the football thing yet though) they do come up with a good ideas once in awhile. Canadians are inviting people in the states of California, Oregon and Washington, where President-elect Donald Trump lost heavily to his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, to secede from the US and join Canada.

“Dear California, Oregon, Washington – I’m sure we can work something out if you want to join Canada,” Chad Harris, a reporter from Kamloops, British Columbia, tweeted.
“California, Oregon, Washington, I, for one, will accept you with open arms into the liberal bosom of Canada,” Alex Middleton of Calgary, Alberta agreed.
“Now is the time for Canada to prepare to add 3 provinces, Washington, Oregon and California,” fellow British Columbian Craig Heber from Tofino shared the sentiment. “Guaranteed means to grow economy would be adding the sixth largest economy in the world to ours.”
Some extended the invitation to Nevada, also won by the Democratic candidate.
“To the west coast of the United States, if you want to you can all become Canadian Provinces, since you voted closer to the experiences we have as Canadian,” Calgarian Andrew Mercier said in a Facebook post. “Therefore WA, OR, NV, and CA you are now provinces, also bring all the goodness that you have to us!!!”
Others want Hawaii, another so-called “Blue State” and outgoing President Barack Obama’s birthplace, to become a Canadian province.
“Dear USA west coast – Washington, Oregon, California and Hawaii – come and join Canada, we’d welcome you!,” Torry Courte, a musician and songwriter from Vancouver, British Columbia, tweeted.
“California, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii,” Rick Spence from Toronto, Ontario, tweeted. “Don’t bother to count the votes. Join Canada. Just try us out for four years.”
How do the disgruntled voters in the West Coast states feel about joining?

Douglas Cole of Beaverton, Oregon, summed up the feelings of many shocked West Coasters in a humorous open letter.

Dear Canada,
We, the fine people of Washington, Oregon, and California, wish to secede. We offer our people, our land, and our resources to you, Oh Canada. We promise not to fight this, but instead, to fight FOR this. Although, you being…you know…Canadians, we’re confident in a polite transition as we become your fourth territory, Washorefornia.

Or Calorington.
We’re fine with either. Just please take us. Pretty please?
With Love and Great Respect,
 The Western Former US States

“These days I love daydreaming about Washington, Oregon, and California all ceding from the US and joining Canada,” Scott Dixon of Mercer Island, Washington, posted on Facebook. “Besides that this would form a country that had one of the largest economies in the world (California is #6, Canada is #8 by GDP), it certainly seems like the American West coast has more in common with British Columbia then it does Idaho, Utah, and Arizona (In my daydream Nevada also cedes but becomes it’s own mad-max themed nation-state).”

“Hey Canada, I have a proposal for you,” Dave Lewis, of San Francisco, California posted on Facebook. “I say we take Washington, Oregon, California and Hawaii, combine them with Canada and make one amazing country. Lots of new coastline. Who’s in?”
“Dear Mr Trump, I’ve figured it out,” Patrick Heffernan of San Diego, California posted. “End the deficit by selling Washington, Oregon, and California to Canada. We don’t mind.”
I hate to say it, but I really don't see a down side to all this.........

Tears and Angst

The overwrought, hyper-dramatic meltdown on the left in the wake of Donald Trump’s victory has been so unrelentingly entertaining that just when you think it can’t get any better this gem shows up:
U.S. EPA employees were in tears. Worried Energy Department staffers were offered counseling. Some federal employees were so depressed, they took time off. Others might retire early.
And some employees are in downright panic mode in the aftermath of Donald Trump’s victory.
“People are upset. Some people took the day off because they were depressed,” said John O’Grady, president of American Federation of Government Employees Council 238, a union that represents thousands of EPA employees. After Election Day, “people were crying,” added O’Grady, who works in EPA’s Region 5 office in Chicago. “They were recommending that people take sick leave and go home.”
EPA employees stand to see some of the most drastic changes under the Trump administration, and they may be taking things a bit harder than other government workers.
The president-elect has vowed to repeal some of the rules they’ve toiled on for the last eight years during the Obama administration, including the Clean Power Plan rule to cut power plants’ greenhouse gas emissions.
While the world was literally burning around him, Obama kept his focus on keeping climate change hysteria at a fever pitch, most probably because he’s seen what it did for Al Gore’s bank account in the last 16 years. In order to pass out favors that he can cash in once he leaves office, he’s been expanding the reach and power of the EPA. It is now a regulatory, power hungry nightmare.

The one sector that didn’t experience sluggish growth the last eight years was the federal behemoth.  Obama has created a new, borderline wealthy class of government workers on the backs of the American taxpayers. It’s practically the sole reason that Virginia, despite still having a purplish appearance, is actually a blue state now.

At Every Level of Government, the Democrat Party is Dying a Slow Death

Having severely misjudged the temperament of the American people after the feel good election of 2008 and badly overplaying their hand, Barack Obama, Harry Reid and Hillary Clinton have damaged the democrat party brand to a point they are in a downward tailspin and will control basically nothing after Jan 20th.

The victory of Donald Trump for the presidency and the continued Republican control of the House and Senate is only part of the story of the Democratic Party's total demise.
Expected to make modest gains in state legislatures across the country, the Democrats instead lost governorships, lost two state legislative chambers, and now have total control of only five states -- the fewest number in their history.
Perhaps the loudest bell tolling for the death of the Democrats is in Kentucky, where Republicans gained control of the state Senate for the first time in a century. This means that for the first time in history, there is not a single state legislative chamber controlled by Democrats in the old Confederacy.
In the Electoral College, where Republicans took six of the ten biggest prizes for the first time since the Reagan years, Democrats should no longer be considered a national party. They are, at best, a coastal party with a few liberal enclaves -- mostly college towns like Madison, WI, and Austin, TX -- in between.
In the great middle of the country, they have disappeared.

Despite a Thorough Cleaning and Detailing, the Stench of Failure Shall Remain Until the End of its Days.
