DOD Desperate Attempt at Good PR 🤪

It's become obvious the last few days anyone in the Biden Administration involved in talking to the chaos in Afghanistan is trying to cover Biden's ass and make thing look as if they're running much better than they are, and score some good PR for themselves. But in the case of the inept Defense Department run by Biden's affirmative action Defense Secretary, Lloyd Austin, just took some buckshot to the face over tweet patting themselves on the back during the evacuations at Kabul airport.

The DOD tweeted complete with pictures of an Air Force plane:

 "Afghan civilians board @usairforce C-17 Globemasters at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, Afghanistan."

And the Defense Department couldn’t be prouder.

Just one problem, they can’t even get the messaging right. That’s not our damn plane.

It’s one from the United Arab Emirates. The flag is right there on the tail. You'd think they would check these things. You'd think..... Competence is just oozing all over the federal government right now. The fish rots from the head, and Biden has been an utter failure in executing this withdrawal.

Maybe if the Secretary Austin had spent less time hunting for boogie men in his ranks and payed attention to the business of "Taking Care of Business" his Deputies and his leadership wouldn't be such an embarrassment.

Biden’s shadow handlers picked other “experts” who seem almost as confused about things as he his. Like Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who always looks like he is way over his head has evidently forgotten what year it is.  On Face The Nation Blinkin says "he was on the phone with Pres Karzai the day before, when he was telling me his intent, as he put it, 'to fight to the death. Well, the next day he was gone."

Karzai left the office in 2014. You'd think.....

One would hope that America’s highest-level diplomat would know who the president of Afghanistan is, especially considering what’s happening there right now, and considering the fact that Joe Biden is ultimately responsible for what’s happening there right now.

When Biden entered the White House it was incumbent on his handlers, who ever they are, to surround him with competent, capable cabinet members who can steer him in the right direction and work as a counterbalance to his nonexistent grasp on, well, everything.

Instead, bad choices and Social Justice is making a mocker of America to the world.

Can You Name a Worst Job Than Javelin Catcher? How About Any Biden Administration Spox.

NB - To go along with two horrendously bad Pentagon press briefings and another at the State Department, the White House joined in Monday afternoon with another shellacking at the hands of the press corps on Afghanistan.

For this installment, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and Press Secretary Jen Psaki took fire from all angles, ranging from Fox News to NPR. Led by Fox’s Peter Doocy and Real Clear Politics’ Philip Wegmann, Team Biden was grilled about whether Americans have been “stranded” by their own government, whether Americans outside Kabul will be rescued, and how can the U.S. take to heart anything that emanates from the Taliban.

Sullivan first stepped to the plate and, after ducking introductory questions from CBS’s Nancy Cordes, CNN’s Phil Mattingly, and two others, NPR’s Ayesha Rascoe fired off a heater about “why didn't the administration prepare the American public” for the “rough” and “very chaotic scenes” inside Afghanistan if such images of death and heartbreak were inevitable, regardless of when the U.S. withdrew. 

Fast-forward a few minutes to the one-two punch of Doocy and Wegmann, which featured the latter telling Sullivan that Biden “has criticized his predecessor,” “the Afghan army,” and “the Afghan government for all of their failures,” but not the Taliban. Sullivan responded to this humdinger by insisting Biden “has been very clear about his views of the Taliban” in not trusting them (even though they’ve said they need their help to get Americans and Afghan allies out of their clutches).

While the dusty rock strewn armpit of central Asia is reeling from the fallout of the U.S. withdrawal, Russian government officials and state media are busy extolling the Taliban — the new sheriff in town.

On Tuesday, an article by state news outlet Vesti gushed that the Taliban “is displaying unprecedented liberalism” towards women by allowing them to continue working in television.

On Monday, anchor of state TV channel Rossiya-24 pointed out that according to Russia’s ambassador to Afghanistan Dmitry Zhirnov, Kabul is a much more peaceful place under Taliban rule. The program showcased a clip of what appeared to be jolly Taliban members at the amusement park—riding around in bumper cars and bouncing on a trampoline.

“According to all the information coming in, the Taliban is not what it used to be... Unthinkably, they even permitted golf and soccer! The atmosphere in Kabul is so calm that Taliban fighters are riding carousels like children and jumping around on trampolines.”

The Taliban burned down the Fukin' amusement park.

A video of what appears to be the theme park set ablaze has been widely shared on the Tweeter. "The Taliban probably objected to the horses on the merry-go-round. For them, these are idols that are prohibited in Islam."

On Monday, Ambassador Zhirnov told radio station Ekho Moskvy:

“This morning, the Taliban came to us and said that since they guaranteed our safety, not a single hair would fall from the head of a Russian diplomat... Everything is very civilized, very calm...".

You know the Ambassador could imagine the feeling of the cold steel of a Taliban knife on his throat through that whole meeting.

Co-host of the Russian state TV show 60 Minutes, Olga Skabeeva, proclaimed during Tuesday’s broadcast:

“You won’t believe this, but even Afghan head-cutters from the Taliban turned out to be better crisis managers than the civilized peacemakers from the United States.”

National Pulse - Joe Biden’s State Department moved to cancel a critical State Department program aimed at providing swift and safe evacuations of Americans out of crisis zones just months prior to the fall of Kabul.

The “Contingency and Crisis Response Bureau” – which was designed to handle medical, diplomatic, and logistical support concerning Americans overseas was paused by Anthony Blinken’s State Department earlier this year. Notification was officially signed just months before the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan.

“SENSITIVE BUT UNCLASSIFIED,” an official State Department document from the Biden State Department begins, before outlining the following move the quash the Trump-era funding for the new bureau. The document is from the desk of Deputy Secretary of State Brian P. McKeon, confirmed in March by the United States Senate.

I had just left the Concourse beneath 1 WTC and was passing by the southeast side of 7 WTC when the first plane appeared directly overhead. I am alive by a matter of yards. Perhaps 40 feet. The half-a-dozen or so people 40 feet behind me were not so fortunate........."

The images now coming from Kabul, the stream of information now flowing through out of the idiot boxes to our brains, all can be reduced to a single word. 

FUTILITY.

For the last 20 years have been nothing if not an exercise in futility. In the process of "destroying the Taliban" we have, instead, destroyed ourselves. In the attempt to spread "democracy" to every shitty sandhole this side of Suez, we have fatally torpedoed our own Republic. We have, finally, although I think we all had a slight inkling of this thought before it all happened, discovered that the people we have entrusted with our safety, our security and "Our American Way of Life" are not up to the task... they never have been. 

But then again, they never were much interested in such pedestrian goals.

The new law allows people age 21 and older to possess or use marijuana up to the specified possession limit of 1.5 ounces on their person and five ounces in their home or car.  Heavily armed, 5 ounce carrying, rolling neighborhood pot dispensaries. What could go wrong? 

While blacks may be underrepresented in the legal marijuana business, they are dominant when it comes to self-employed street corner pharmaceutical and marijuana sales. And after Barack Obama did very little to help blacks for 8 years, it seems that the state of Connecticut could find a better cause to forward the black community then pushing affirmative action in the weed dealing business.

Back before he became a permanent resident of the island, Barky Obama was known to bundling his extended tribe, advisors, 82% of the Secret Service and sympathetic journalist and swoop in and disrupt the beleaguered island known as "Hollywood East" during August.  It was 8 nightmarish days and nights of shut down roads and restricted movement for inhabitants of Martha’s Vineyard, who, from previous visits residents had come to liken the Obama vacation/birthday invasion to an Outbreak of Herpes.

North Korea Spies on Obama's Martha's Vineyard Vacation

(MFNS Pyongyang) -The North Korean News Agency announced moments ago that the DPRK Navy had successfully completed a secret spy mission purposely directed at the  arrival  of the Presidential entourage on Martha's Vineyard. Nork News said the mission involved the DPRK Navy's first long voyage of their newest secret weapon, a propane/electric hybrid powered long range "Dung Class" submarine.  (photos below)

A Military spokesman said the submarine was able to penetrate the Nantucket Sound under the cover of darkness Friday morning and navigate in daylight the coastal waters of Martha's Vineyard by running shallow while towing a cardboard cutout of Secretary of State John Kerry on a windsurfing board, assuring no one would pay any attention or come near.

The newest addition to the DPRK arsenals secret voyage was commanded by the North Korean Supreme Leader himself, 1st Admiral Kim Jong Un. The mission included spending 18 hours off Cape Cod Friday to gather intelligence and two undetected passes through the Vineyard Sound in daylight on Saturday.

Two of CNN's Star Analyst Go Full Stasi

Anyone who has wasted good brain cells watching cable news know each channel has it's go to experts on any given subject. Since TDS infection struck journalism 5 years ago, one of the side affects is the expertise of the cable news guest experts opinions seemed to bleed over into other disciplines not their own. No matter, in cable news they are expert on something, so that makes them experts on most everything. As time has gone by, just like the rest of society, some have lost sight of reality. Now, since the election of 46*, some experts have started calling for an America more like the totalitarian Eastern Block countries of the last century. Here are just the latest.

First we have Juliette Kayyem, a former Obama minion and CNN National Security expert, who in an interview told the Atlantic that unvaccinated people belong on the No-Fly List. “A no-fly list for unvaccinated adults is an obvious step that the federal government should take” based on the TSA PreCheck, which “divide[s] passengers into categories according to how much of a threat the government thinks they are. Kayyem champions shaming the unvaccinated, who should “face scorn among their peer group”. Your Papers, Please!

A quick check of Kayyem background will find she serves as a senior advisor to NSO Group, a technology firm known for its Pegasus spying tool that is widely been used to spy on human rights activists and journalists world wide. She is also notably one of the many far-leftist, first generation privileged children of immigrants that seem to always be at the forefront of the criticism of the America that has given them so much.

Then we have CNN's creepy little Peter Hotez, a professor of pediatrics and molecular virology at Baylor College of Medicine, calling for criticisms of Anthony Fauci and other government scientists be prosecuted as hate crimes.

To combat what he calls “antiscience aggression,” Hotez suggests a number of ideas, including a total clamping down on alternate perspectives.

Hotez mentions as an example of “antiscience aggression” House Republicans’ Select Subcommittee on the origins of COVID-19 “with the presumption that it was ignited by gain-of-function genetic engineering research from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”  Yes, asking legit questions about how we got into this mess we now find ourselves in is criminal in his eyes!

He also cites as the source of the COVID “antiscience aggression” the administration of the former President, which he appears to compare to Nazi and fascist regimes. An academic is telling us that criticism is a punishable crime. It's not only NOT a crime, it is the very mechanism that makes academia work. It seems this creepy professor, like Anthony Fauci, is enjoying his TV facetime way to much.

Couple that with their constant fear of Biden accidentally wandering to Canada in his pajamas and they need to do whatever they can to game the system.

The elections may not be for another 16 months, but it’s showdown time now. This charade has gone on long enough. Let the freak fetishists who want to live in fear while ignoring science, data, and pretty much all of reality go on doing that. Biden Proposes Millions to Pay Legal Fees of Illegal Aliens

As one writer for RedState suggested, Joe Biden couldn’t have done a better job importing illegal aliens at a record clip if he had ordered one-way people-movers installed along the border, hired mariachi bands to welcome what democrats view as future-democrat voters, and put together festive parties with piñatas for the kids.

And now we see Yahoo News reported the Biden administration plans to spend millions of dollars of your tax money to cover the cost of lawyers for illegal aliens.

Read that last sentence again.

Not only do 46* and the democrats want you to like it — or lump it — as the steady flow of illegal aliens, many covid carrying or pregnant continues virtually unabated; they also want (expect) U.S. taxpayers to foot the bill for legal fees after they enter the country like a victorious invading army and flaunt U.S. immigration law after being encouraged with the promise of free healthcare during the primary debates.

In a White House Fact Sheet titled "The Biden Administration Blueprint for a Fair, Orderly and Humane Immigration System" it states: 

"The United States can have an orderly, secure, and well-managed border while treating people fairly and humanely."

Really, Joe? Shipping COVID-positive illegal aliens around the country, often against the will or knowledge of state and local lawmakers, makes for an “orderly, secure, and well-managed border”? Which part? And the “treating people fairly and humanely” part? Which people? American citizens or illegal aliens?

It gets even better. The $15 million part: 

The $15 million in funding would only be enough to cover several thousand people, according to a study from the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank. Immigration lawyers charge between $150 and $300 per hour. Over the past four months alone, 190,000 people illegally came across the southern border with a family member, and another 64,000 unaccompanied children arrived in America. 

The cost to the federal government of providing lawyers for those 250,000 family members and adults, at the $2,000 rate, would be approximately $500 million.

Other than never, when was the last time you saw the democrat Party ask taxpayers to fund only a small portion of an already-known much larger total?
