Connecticut’s New Social Equity Council Plans Affirmative Action Priority for Drug Dealers

The last time we visited the elder statesman of the racial grievance industry, MSNBC host and race-hustling extortionist Rev. Al Sharpton, his beef was not enough black people selling dope, and was calling for more diversity in 'White-Dominated Weed Industry'.

The SJW Connecticut legislators have taken up his cause and worked to ensure “social equity” was included in the legalization of recreational marijuana and want the very activity that incarcerated generations of predominantly black and brown people to be first in line for permits to sell weed and not disproportionately excluded from business opportunities.” 

“We’ll finally have, within the community of Black and brown, a way to wealth creation. I think this is the opportunity to truly see the 40-acres and a mule of our ancestors.” Joseph Williams - UConn Small Business Development Center.

The new law allows people age 21 and older to possess or use marijuana up to the specified possession limit of 1.5 ounces on their person and five ounces in their home or car.  Heavily armed, 5 ounce carrying, rolling neighborhood pot dispensaries. What could go wrong? 

While blacks may be underrepresented in the legal marijuana business, they are dominant when it comes to self-employed street corner pharmaceutical and marijuana sales. And after Barack Obama did very little to help blacks for 8 years, it seems that the state of Connecticut could find a better cause to forward the black community then pushing affirmative action in the weed dealing business.

We all know the cemetery constituency has traditionally been important to the dems from way back, our own Huey Long is known to have won an election or two with the help of one corner of the N.O. Jewish cemetery. They're said to have been very helpful in many mayoral races over the years.

And now we read in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that following a ruling by U.S. District Judge Steve Jones Monday, the number of registered voters in Georgia is about to be reduced by approximately 309,000 names. Georgia law requires voter names purged after voters fail to vote in elections for several years, one of nine states with similar requirements called “use it or lose it.” All states are bound by federal law to regularly update voter rolls.

In his Monday order, Jones wrote:

“It appears that any voter registration cancellations can be undone at a later date. The technology is in place for any deleted voter names to be restored, should developments warrant."

Protecting the voting rights of the dead and apathetic, the progressive voting rights group Fair Fight Action jumped into action and filed an emergency motion to stop the purge. Fair Fight Action is the voting rights group founded by Democrat Stacey Abrams and her soft skull allies after her loss in the State Governor race in 2018. Abrams, showing typical progressive lack of class, has yet to concede her election loss. She lost because she got fewer votes, and that's not fair.

According to Fair Fight CEO Lauren Groh-Wargo:

“Georgians should not lose their right to vote simply because they have not expressed that right in recent elections. Georgia’s practice of removing voters who have declined to participate in recent elections violates the United States Constitution.”

Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said Georgia’s voter lists must be maintained for accuracy.

"Proper list maintenance is not only required by long-standing laws but is also important in maintaining the integrity and smooth functioning of elections."

States cannot cancel voter registrations based solely on inactivity. Election officials are required to also mail notifications before registrations are canceled, as Georgia officials did this year.

As always with dems, it's not about protecting the rightful vote of a legal citizen of the United States.  It's about, in the name of what progressives call their version of 'fairness', casting votes in so loose of a soup of regulations and gimmicks like poorly verifiable same day registration, that open up our elections to the fraud dems are so good at and claim never happens, unless they lose. 

The mark of the Progressive ideologue is that they never want to think deeply about the complexity of the world, only about the complexity of his plans for the world. Laws protecting my legal vote is not voter suppression. But protecting the voting rights of the dead is so progressive.

Files Suit Against Donald Trump’s Presidential Campaign,

Claims Broad Conspiracy to Rig 2016 election.

Things haven't been breaking the Democrats way lately. The Comey memos are a dude, and it looks like after a year of threats, yelling, media propaganda and whining like children, the DNC can't get what it's wanted from Mueller. This law suit looks like a throw down. All in. Scorched earth. Total war. Last Ditch effort. PR stunt. Call it what you want. 

CNBC - "The multi-million-dollar lawsuit filed in Manhattan federal court says that "In the Trump campaign, Russia found a willing and active partner in this effort" to mount "a brazen attack on American Democracy," which included Russian infiltration of the Democratic Party computer network. 

The suit says that "preexisting relationships with Russia and Russian oligarchs" with Trump and Trump associates "provided fertile ground for [the] Russia-Trump conspiracy." Tom Perez, chairman of the Democratic National Committee, said the party's suit "is not partisan, it's patriotic." He called the alleged conspiracy "an act of unprecedented treachery: the campaign of a nominee for President of the United States in league with a hostile foreign power to bolster its own chance to win the presidency." 

The DNC said that while it would be impossible "to fully repair the harm caused by the defendants, the DNC has filed this civil complaint ... to hold the defendants accountable for their misconduct and to ensure transparency." The suit says that the Trump campaign solicited Russia's illegal assistance and maintained secret communications with people linked to the Russian government, including a spy agency tasked with attacking the DNC...." - Read More

The Democrats have just put some fresh bait on the hook to keep DJT tweeting and the media talking about Russia. The dems see the suit is a trap, because on their hopeful outside chance Special Counsel Robert Mueller can twist evidence to appear Trump in someway conspired with the Russians, the DNC will be set up to recover millions of dollars in damages from hacking. Yeah, good luck with that.....

 Convicted Former Florida Congressional Rep.Corrine Brown and a Few of Her Gangsta Friends 

It’s nice to see that justice does sometimes prevail in this country. Former Florida congresswoman Corrine Brown just got five years in the federal pokey for using a bogus charity to scam donors and skim off the top for personal use. It was crime born out of entitlement and greed committed to ensure a lifestyle that was beyond her means:

"Former Florida Democratic Rep. Corrine Brown was sentenced on Monday to five years in prison for mail, wire and tax fraud involving a sham charity. A jury convicted Brown of stealing money from a bogus charity, One Door For Education, which purported to give scholarships to poor children but instead filled the coffers of Brown and her associates. 

Federal prosecutors said she and a top aide committed fraud by using donations for lavish parties and trips. The aide and another official later accepted a plea deal and testified against Brown, who served in Congress for nearly 25 years. She was defeated in her 2016 primary race. 

Earlier this year, One Door President Carla Wiley pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud after it was determined that she had deposited $800,000 into the foundation’s account over four years. Over that time, federal prosecutors say it gave one scholarship for $1,000 and that Wiley transferred herself tens of thousands of dollars.Brown’s former chief of staff, Elias “Ronnie” Simmons, and the charity’s president pleaded guilty after their federal indictments for misusing the charity’s funds, and testified against Brown." - Fox
