The Left and Their 'Tin Foil Hat' Problem.

Nuttier Than Your Average Squirrel Turd - MSNBC Loonie Central's Joy Reid

by Clint Fargeau

A philosopher once observed: “If someone falsely accuses you of doing something, it’s a good bet they are doing it themselves.” Those who have the misfortune to peruse the organs of Leftist opinion will find no shortage of op-eds descrying the crazy conspiracy theories of conservatives.  Silly conservatives. Bunch of paranoid loons they are.

The barrage of leftist gaslighting over the last three years supports the philosopher's  more intellectual formulation of “He that smelt it dealt it.” Most of us are painfully familiar with the more infamous examples of conspiracy theorizing on the Left. To wit:
Donald Trump is a closet white supremacist in league with neo-nazis–like Ben Carson, a black man, and Stephen Miller, who is Jewish–to make America white again.
And on the really fruity end of the spectrum:
Jews control the weather; their nation state secretly plans to exterminate Arabs; and the whole lot of them have hypnotized the world with Hebrew mind control.
These conspiracy … “theories”, or more like “fever dreams” … spill forth not from basement bloggers in tinfoil hats but from supposedly nailed-down folk. Politicians, mainstream journalists, and (formerly) respectable intellectuals juice these lemons day after day, in defiance of common sense, hard evidence, or even a compelling pattern. Their constituents drink this sour mixture, proclaim it ambrosia, and cry for more.

The opinion leaders on the Left rail incessantly against “The Rich.” But when they say “The Rich,” they don’t mean the population with assets in excess of X million dollars. Those would just be people who happened to be rich. They mean “THE CONSPIRACY OF The Rich”–bastards who connive to suck up all the goodies. Collusion is how they got rich, not a combination of luck, intelligence, and hard work.

“Eat The Rich” cheerleaders like Robert Reich, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Elizabeth Warren talk like “The Rich” share a party line–complete with gold-plated Bat-phones–earnestly discussing as a group: “How can we keep the little guy down and murder the climate at the same time?”

Another long-running “conspiracy of” category is “White People.” Activists, politicians, and opinionators reference “(the conspiracy of) White People” on topics ranging from police shootings to NFL owners who manifestly plotted to exclude Colin Kaepernick from his rightful place chucking a ball on the TV. NFL owners can’t possibly have thought separately and individually that hiring Kaepernick–who damaged the entire league and who spouts Marxist, anti-white, anti-police garbage at every opportunity–might turn out to be a poor choice, leading to perennial headaches for any team stupid enough to toss him a jersey.

Leftist conspiracy mongers credit conservatives and Republicans with borderline-magical abilities to leverage powerful forces for sinister plots and schemes. In so doing, they have turned their constituency into a hysteria feedback movement. Their sole source of energy now appears to be: “Nazis and robber barons in the bushes! Treasons and plots! Grab your Reynolds Wrap and prepare for resistance!”

Perhaps most odd from a conservative viewpoint is that many of the “conspiracies” Leftist opinion makers “uncover” are open, commonly held beliefs on the Right. Opinion makers on the Left don’t listen to conservatives. Then, stumbling upon conservatives’ openly expressed views, they mischaracterize those beliefs as hidden and secret motives. The devious plotter living in every conservative means that nothing they say may be accepted at face value. The devious plotter living in every conservative means that nothing they say may be accepted at face value.

Francis Wilkinson’s hilariously ignorant opinion piece in Bloomberg exemplifies the left's paranoia at work. Wilkinson’s title– "The True Aim of the Gun Sanctuary Movement", Wilkinson theorizes that Second Amendment advocates (or as he calls them the “guns-everywhere-for anybody movement”) don’t *really* believe in the Constitution; they just want to subvert the American majority.

*Sigh*. Okay Francis, you got us. Conservatives really don’t believe in the wisdom of the Constitution, that bit of “legal finery.” We are conspiring in secret to give every felon, child, and psychiatric inmate an AR-15 and turn cities into dystopian slaughterhouses. Darn it. We almost snuck that one by, but Wilkinson was too smart for us.

A note to the Guns-Everywhere-for-Everybody Cabal: we will not meet this Friday, because Wilkinson’s column has made us sad and angry. But next Friday, come with your best ideas to trick the Left into believing we support the constitutional right to self-, home, and community defense on its merits. We will meet in room 302, right next to the Evil Jewish Bankers Who Control Everything Society.

No Biggie. DJT Gets Re-elected We'll Just Impeach Him Again

Impeachment is a ridiculous bit of theater that has failed in its most basic mission. It was supposed to damage the President while convincing American voters that DJT, and by extension Republicans, were criminals. They were supposed to reject both the man and the party in favor of some joke-candidate like Joe Biden. Polls show that’s not going to happen.

They’re out of ideas, their Hail Mary is failing, and their 2020 field is such a mess that even the most stalwart lefties are rolling their eyes. So, what are Dems to do? They’re going to do the same thing all over again, that’s what. Behold “the definition of insanity.”

In other words, “Show me the man, I’ll show you the crime.” If this is the kind of thinking that’s going on behind closed doors, the Democratic Party is truly imploding. They know they’re headed for a 2020 loss… and They. Have. Nothing. Else.

There He Goes Again! Awarding a Medal of Freedom to Elvis. That’s Racist, You Know!

Vernon and Gladys Presley's Boy

Okay, for sure in this day and age the sense that everything anyone ever does could qualify as racist under some leftist's definition somewhere, and when the person doing the doing is Donald Trump it’s not complicated to go rummaging through the racist thresholds and find one that fits. He’s Donald Trump. He did something. Ergo, it’s racist. We’ll work backwards from there and retrofit the premise into some sort of rationale that will work, or we’ll just manufacture a new one. Hey. Why not? It’s not like there’s a limit.

Apparently, according to one music critic (i.e. failed musician) at the Washington Post, Elvis’s racial crime was to do well performing the type of music you might associate with black artists. So we’re kinda sorta talking about “cultural appropriation,” but there’s more to it than that because the charge is also that black artists should have enjoyed the acclaim Elvis experienced, but he went and hogged it from them. And here Elvis thought he was just trying to sell records and pack concert halls. He had no idea he was laying down some sort of line of racial demarcation.

But this is the Washington Post we’re talking about, so you had to know they’d come up with something like this:
"Yes, this overture looks ugly to anyone who feels antagonism and regression radiating from Trump’s promise to “make America great again.” And yes, it all feels especially absurd to members of the hip-hop generation — its eldest citizens now past middle-age — who learned how to feel about the legacy of Presley the moment they first heard Public Enemy’s “Fight the Power” blasting a hole through our national mood in the summer of 1989.
Yeah, you know the Chuck D line I’m talking about: “Elvis was a hero to most, but he never meant s— to me.”
Yes, Trump desperately wants to look like a real president — Reagan, Richard Nixon, whomever. Yes, he knows all about that iconic bizarro snapshot of Nixon and Presley shaking hands in the Oval Office, and yes, Trump surely wishes he could have been the president who famously cheesed with the King instead of being the president who nervously accepted a lopsided hug from Kanye West. Yes, it’s all a bit pathetic."
To those who identify with hip-hop as opposed to rock and roll, Elvis is nothing and no one. The writer clearly goes further than that, suggesting that Elvis’s acclaim was actually an affront to black people because he was similar in style to the great black artists and really no better than they were, and more widely loved because he was white.(yeah, you knew that was coming).

But one of the curious characteristics of Trump critics is that they seem to think the president is constantly on the lookout for ways to disrespect them. Thus, awarding the Medal of Freedom to Elvis for his creative achievements and his cultural impact can’t possibly just be a sincere recognition of the man’s success. The Trump of their imaginations never operates that way. His first thought is always: “What oppressed societal group can I further wound with a passive-aggressive action thinly disguised as a tribute to someone else?”

Remember: If Trump does something, it has to be racist. You can always go back and fill in the rationale for that belief later. Anything will do. Especially when you write for the Washington Post.

She's Out To Annoy The Entire English Speaking World

Will She Ever Run Out of Places To Go and People to Annoy

It amazes me that this woman can still find anyone who is actually interested to hear what she has to say, but then here come the news that Hillary has loaded up the 'Grievance Tour Tent' and headed down under to bother the good people of New Zealand. May The Lord Have Mercy On Their Souls......

According to the New Zealand Herald, Clinton spoke to a group of about 3000 people in Auckland on Monday night about "North Korea", her wish she had "bit back after Donald Trump stalked me on stage during a debate" and "the strangest goings on we are living though" in the United States.
"Clinton rarely mentioned Trump by name but he was a constant presence in her discussion - and she did not spare her own country from a critique of concerning developments internationally."
"We're having a very important struggle in the United States right now. It's difficult to fully grasp because there are 20 stories and people are getting overwhelmed by the strange goings on we are living through.
New Zealand's success in bringing together people from different backgrounds and beliefs, having such a vital democracy as an example which we so desperately need in the world really means more in the 21st century than perhaps you even recognise....."
How, Oh how America could we have failed to elected such an Paragon of Humanity???

Clinton went on to tell the crowd she was appreciative of the offers to permanently move to New Zealand after the election loss. If I were you New Zealand, I'd find out who extended those invites and consider mental health evaluations and isolation from the rest of society. Y'all dodge a bullet almost as big as we did! With that I would be remiss to my readers down under if I failed to alert you to the fact SHE'S ON HER WAY TO AUSTRALIA NEXT!!!!

Democrats Go All In

Files Suit Against Donald Trump’s Presidential Campaign,
The Russian Government and the Wikileaks group.
Claims Broad Conspiracy to Rig 2016 election.

Things haven't been breaking the Democrats way lately. The Comey memos are a dude, and it looks like after a year of threats, yelling, media propaganda and whining like children, the DNC can't get what it's wanted from Mueller. This law suit looks like a throw down. All in. Scorched earth. Total war. Last Ditch effort. PR stunt. Call it what you want.

CNBC - "The multi-million-dollar lawsuit filed in Manhattan federal court says that "In the Trump campaign, Russia found a willing and active partner in this effort" to mount "a brazen attack on American Democracy," which included Russian infiltration of the Democratic Party computer network.
The suit says that "preexisting relationships with Russia and Russian oligarchs" with Trump and Trump associates "provided fertile ground for [the] Russia-Trump conspiracy." Tom Perez, chairman of the Democratic National Committee, said the party's suit "is not partisan, it's patriotic." He called the alleged conspiracy "an act of unprecedented treachery: the campaign of a nominee for President of the United States in league with a hostile foreign power to bolster its own chance to win the presidency."
The DNC said that while it would be impossible "to fully repair the harm caused by the defendants, the DNC has filed this civil complaint ... to hold the defendants accountable for their misconduct and to ensure transparency." The suit says that the Trump campaign solicited Russia's illegal assistance and maintained secret communications with people linked to the Russian government, including a spy agency tasked with attacking the DNC...." - Read More

The Democrats have just put some fresh bait on the hook to keep DJT tweeting and the media talking about Russia. The dems see the suit is a trap, because on their hopeful outside chance Special Counsel Robert Mueller can twist evidence to appear Trump in someway conspired with the Russians, the DNC will be set up to recover millions of dollars in damages from hacking. Yeah, good luck with that.....
