"Brother Roger” and the Racial Agitators

The only reason they’re allowed to do this is because we in the press enable them by calling them civil rights leaders."

AIM - When conservatives complain about Al Sharpton, they usually note his relationship to NBC news or his hosting a show on MSNBC. But a new book says the racial agitator and Democratic Party politician has considerable clout with Fox News, and in fact played a role in getting conservative Glenn Beck fired from the channel.
Fox News host Tucker Carlson says “people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton do not deserve to be called civil rights leaders. They are not. They are hustlers and pimps who make a living off inflaming racial tensions.”
However, The Zev Chafets book, Roger Ailes: Off Camera, has some revealing passages about the clout that Sharpton and Jackson have with the chairman and CEO of Fox News. It says Ailes took a phone call from Sharpton after Beck, then a Fox News host, staged a rally at the Lincoln Memorial 47 years to the day after Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his “I have a dream” speech at the same location. Beck’s “Restoring Honor” rally, designed to pay tribute to America’s military personnel and restore traditional values, was strongly attacked by figures such as Sharpton and George Soros-funded groups like Media Matters, then campaigning to have Beck fired from Fox News.
Chafets says Reverend Alveda King, a national pro-life leader, delivered a conservative “I have a dream” message of her own at the Beck-sponsored rally that was “infuriating to many viewers,” and Ailes as well. “Ailes didn’t like it much, either,” he reports. However, the book doesn’t explain why Ailes took issue with the rally or the speech.
The book adds, “When Al Sharpton called him [Ailes] to complain, Sharpton was surprised to hear Ailes say he would ‘take care’ of it.” The passage is included in the context of Ailes making a decision that “he would have to get rid of Glenn Beck” and telling Howard Kurtz, then a media reporter with The Daily Beast, that “he was turning down the partisan heat at the network” and was pursuing “a more moderate tone” in programming.

Time for a national discussion on race? Yeah Right.

"We have spent the last 70 years trying to heal race relations in this country. There will be no advance in a dialog on race and race relations in this country until people of ANY color or race STOP MAKING THAT THE ONLY VALUE THEY HAVE TO THEIR COUNTRY!
Not until you stop accepting the lie of the media and realize that you have all been purposely divided and made to hate each other by a government that wants you busy fighting each other so that you cannot oppose the taking of your liberty; will the race divide EVER be healed.
Not until blacks stop accepting the lie that they are nothing and can be nothing because of the “great white oppressors," and realize that they have been sold a bill of goods that totally reverses the dream of Martin Luther King; so that they can be kept voting for the people doing it to them: can this issue ever advance.
The current administration, Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton have taken you back 70 years just as the feminists of this country have set back the cause of women. But still you drink the Democrat Koolaid.
That is neither my fault, nor the fault of any white person in this country "- R. M. Bateman

Al Sharpton readies his tropical suits, high-humidity hair treatments and tunes up the bullhorn.

"The National Action Network is organizing the protests at federal court buildings to press the Justice Department to bring a civil rights case against George Zimmerman, who was found not guilty in the death of teenager Trayvon Martin by a Florida jury on Saturday.
Sharpton said his National Action Network intends to keep the pressure on until a civil rights case is brought, insisting the protests will show the national anger over the verdict is not a “two- or three-day” thing.
“It’s not over. And we are going to make sure it’s not over......." - Politico
As far back as March 2012, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s niece  criticized the Rev. Al Sharpton and the Rev. Jesse Jackson for politicizing the Trayvon Martin shooting and leveraging racial tensions to rile up Americans.

“I would believe that, by stirring up all of the emotions and reactions, I wanted to encourage them to remember the man that they say that they followed, to remember that his message was nonviolence and very loving, referencing her late uncle. She added that she wanted to encourage Jackson and Sharpton “to talk about nonviolence and not to incite people with that race card that they are very good at playing."

So much for Dr. King's Legacy......

So While Everyone is Milking the Lillies Over the Zimmerman Aftermath…

"William Burns, US Deputy Secretary of State, flew to Egypt, the first US official to go to Egypt since the ouster of Muslim Brotherhood and former President Morsi on 3 July, and tries to set up a meeting with the radical Islamist Nour Party.
True, they told him to go pound sand, but it makes one wonder why Obama is trying to meet with Islamists.
But ignore the fact that the so-called President is secretly attempting to support radical Islamists, a ‘white hispanic’ was just found not guilty of murdering a poor little innocent black child. Sure, hundreds of black children are killed each year in Chicago alone, and no one cares, this one was super duper special." -  Talk Straight
Only in America do white people get threatened with mass violence because a Hispanic man was acquitted of murder.

And just some more moronic crap from from the halls of higher education in America:
"As a black woman in an nation that has taken too many pains to remind me that I am not a white man, and am not capable of taking care of my reproductive rights, or my voting rights, I know that this American god ain’t my god. As a matter of fact, I think he’s a white racist god with a problem. More importantly, he is carrying a gun and stalking young black men." -- University of Pennsylvania religion professor Anthea Butler

Zimmerman Lawyer to Proceed with Case against NBC News

The Washington Post
Last night’s not-guilty verdict in the George Zimmerman trial will enable the neighborhood-watch volunteer to resume his case against NBC News for the mis-editing of his widely distributed call to police. Back in December, Zimmerman sued NBC Universal Media for defamation over the botched editing, which depicted him as a hardened racial profiler. [...]
NBC Universal Media responded to the Zimmerman complaint by noting that other media outlets played up the racial angle of Zimmerman’s deadly encounter with Trayvon Martin.
The company also noted the pivotal nature of the second-degree murder case: “[I]f Zimmerman is convicted, that fact alone will constitute substantial evidence that the destruction of his reputation is the result of his own criminal conduct, and not of the broadcasts at issue which, like countless other news reports disseminated by media entities throughout the country, reported on the underlying events.”
That formulation is now null.
