Michael "Flathead" Blanchard  1944 ~ 2012

A Celebration of the life of Michael "Flathead" Blanchard will be held on April 14th, 3 pm 8160 Rosemary St, Commerce City. Weary of reading obituaries noting someone's courageous battle with death, Mike wanted it known that he died as a result of being stubborn, refusing to follow doctors' orders and raising hell for more than six decades. He enjoyed booze, guns, cars and younger women until the day he died.

Mike was born July 1944 in Colorado to Clyde and Ethel Blanchard. A community activist, he is noted for saving the Dr. Justina Ford house from demolition and defending those who could not defend themselves. He was a Republican delegate, life member of the NRA, founder and President of the Dead Cats MC. He loved music.

 Mike was preceded in death by Clyde and Ethel Blanchard, survived by his beloved sons Mike and Chopper, former wife Jane Transue, brother Stephen Blanchard (aka Susan), Uncle Don and Aunt Cynthia Blanchard (his favorite); Uncle Dill and Aunt Dot, cousins and nephews, Baba Yaga can kiss his butt.

So many of his childhood friends that weren't killed in Vietnam went on to become criminals, prostitutes and/or Democrats. He asks that you stop by and re-tell the stories he can no longer tell. As the Celebration will contain Adult material we respectfully ask that no children under 18 attend.

Mitt's Women Problem?

The course of events lately, namely Sandra Fluke and the mythical 'War on Women' opened up the chance for the democrats to wind up the ol' propaganda machine in great style this campaign season. But in this case, it may not be working, at least so far.

Jay Cost of the Weekly Standard is excellent at deciphering polls. His latest column deciphering this weeks ABC/Washington Post poll spells major trouble for Obama. Here’s part of what he wrote:

"Yesterday, a new ABC News/Washington Post poll seemed to confirm the meme that Barack Obama is pummeling Mitt Romney among women, helping the former open up a 7-point lead in the general election horse race."

"What to make of this?"

"Well, for starters, the poll has an inexplicably large Democratic advantage; the party breakdown in the poll is 34 percent Democratic, 23 percent Republican, and 34 percent independent. As a point of historical comparison, the party spread in four of the last five elections since 2002 has basically been an even split between the two sides. In 2008, a “perfect storm” of bad news for the GOP, the party ID advantage was “only” +7. So, a Democratic advantage of +11 is an unjustifiable number, at least in terms of what the electorate is thinking."

You're in trouble when you lead by 7 points but they oversampled your ‘supporters’ by 11 points. That's like hearing your spouse say that there's a 60% chance you'll still be together a year from now. That isn't a ringing endorsement.

Unfortunately for Bo, that's just the tip of the iceberg. I’ll guarantee that this statistic has David Axelrod drinking a bottle of Maalox each day and Debbie Waddler Schultz smoking the Marlboros to the nub:

"President Obama’s handling of the economy: 23% strongly approve, 21% somewhat approve, 12% somewhat disapprove, 42% strongly disapprove.."

This result is more troubling for President Obama:

"The situation with gas prices: 14% strongly approve, 14% somewhat approve, 12% somewhat disapprove, 50% strongly disapprove".

Remember, these numbers are actually propped up by the unjustifiable oversampling. If the sample accurately reflected the party identification figures, those results would look even worse for Dear Leader. Any body remember the DNC poll showing Gore up by 6 in Florida two days before the 2000 election?

If Obama can't turn those figures around fast, he'll get thumped this November. It's a distinct possibility that he'll get fewer electoral votes this year than McCain got last time.

Though I can't find the link for it, I saw a poll yesterday that showed President Obama leading Mitt by 5 points in Michigan. That's trouble for Obama because the president thrashed Sen. McCain in Michigan 57% to 41%. HINT: If Obama is fighting to win Michigan, he’s heading for a lost state.

Obama is rightly called incumbent now. If these polling figures don't turn around by Election Day, the term one-term wonder will be most appropriate.

Middle Finger News has learned DNC computers were compromised by a super secretive group of tech savvy anarchists known only as 'Bob'.

An anonymous spokesman for 'Bob' told us they recently hacked into DNC Chairwomen Debbie Wasserman Schultz's  personal computer. Reportedly, the feat was accomplished by a female member in South Korea who correctly guessed Wasserman's  password might be "Debbie". 

Included in the information leaks are notes and power-point presentations from the re-election strategy meetings  of President Obama. But Bob said most info found was "the same ol' shit" like enemies lists and democrat smear tactics, but did find some very interesting unicorn drawings made by Vice President Joe Biden in Microsoft Paint while attending the meetings.

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -Michelle Obama has marked the one-year anniversary of her "Joining Forces" initiative with a visit to Shreveport-Bossier City.

The First Lady spoke for less than 20 minutes at the Kansas City Southern Railway company in North Shreveport. There was no teleprompter in sight.

In August 2011, President Barack Obama announced a series of policies to increase veterans' employment and asked the First Lady and Dr. Jill Biden to lead an effort through Joining Forces to challenge the private sector to hire or train 100,000 veterans and military spouses by the end of 2013.

The Presidential Q&A I'd Love To Hear....

The Scene: President Frequent-Flyer-Miles has just hopped off the golf course, and is attending another of those staged-political-event-cum-Nuremberg-rallies of his, this time in the crucial swing state of (insert name of state with large percentage of complete doofuses who voted for this jerkoff the last time around).

He is introduced by the local democratic congresscritter with a gusto that is entirely forced, and probably lubricated by at least a fifth of Johnny Walker Black, and enters the room to the sounds of free-malt-liquor-and-skittles-enhanced applause from a crowd of people who wouldn't understand a word he will eventually say if you gave them a continuous, three-week-long Miriam-Webster enema beforehand.

The President has come to speak about a whole buncha things today, but as always, the most important points (in that they are the least intellectually defensible and defy common logic) have been loaded into the teleprompter first, will be glossed over quite quickly, and are intended to be consumed mostly by the press who will spend long hours, drooling and navel gazing, attempting to glean some sort of intelligence from the catchphrases. Finding none, they will be more than happy to make some up later on....

Tip of The Iceberg - 2008 Dem Voter Fraud

This month two states, Indiana and Virginia, have indicted Democrats and convicted felons on charges of vote fraud during the 2008 election cycle.

While reading these, remember that the left says there is no vote fraud in the USA…

In Indiana four St. Joseph County Democrat officials have had charges filed against them for allegedly forging Obama primary petitions during the 2008 election. Authorities charge that the scheme to submit the fake petitions for Obama was hatched at the local county Democrat headquarters.

When news first broke of the scandal, Democrat County Party Chairman Butch Morgan resigned his petition. Morgan is now one of those officially charged.

Others charged are St. Joseph County Board of Voter Registration member Pam Brunette, worker Beverly Shelton, and Democrat volunteer Dustin Blythe.

In Virginia, a grand jury indicted 10 convicted felons on charges of voter fraud and for lying on registration forms during the 2008 election cycle.

Five men and five women were charged with making false statements on registration forms.

Those charged claim they were accosted by solicitors urging the felons to vote illegally during the 2008 cycle. Authorities could not find any of these purported solicitors and none are being charged in connection with these incidents of voter fraud. Those being charged lied on registration forms by checking the box that said they had never been convicted of a felon and were eligible to vote.

Court dates have not been announced for those charged in Virginia.

Clown Prince of Law Inforcement Gets Bitch Slapped by U.S. Court Judge

Eric Holder is a busy man. When President Obama’s chief law enforcement officer isn’t tied up selling guns to Mexican drug cartels, refusing to prosecute self-serving cases of voter intimidation or ignoring “wanted dead or alive” bounties placed by black militants on the heads of private citizens, he’s busy conspiring with pro-abortion extremists to bring the full weight of the federal government down upon innocent pro-life advocates.

"For several months now the Obama administration has been abusing our judicial system through a concerted political intimidation campaign via the federal courts. Obama has instructed the Justice Department to sue a number of pro-life counselors and volunteers for allegedly violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrance (FACE) Act."

"You won’t hear it from the mainstream media, but the Justice Department has just faced an embarrassing smack down on the highest profile of these cases. It has dropped an appeal in Holder v. Pine against pro-life sidewalk counselor Mary “Susan” Pine, who is represented by the civil rights firm Liberty Counsel. The DOJ has agreed to pay $120,000 for this frivolous lawsuit which, as the evidence indicated, was intended to intimidate Ms. Pine and send a shot over the bow of pro-lifers around the country."

"Mr. Holder unsuccessfully sought thousands of dollars in fines against Ms. Pine, as well as a permanent injunction banning her from counseling women on the public sidewalk outside the Presidential Women’s Center (PWC) abortion mill (or any other “reproductive services” clinic)."

"After 18 months of litigation, the DOJ’s case was thrown out of federal court, and the department was chastised in a scathing ruling by U.S. District Judge Kenneth Ryskamp for filing a case with no evidence."

"Judge Ryskamp wrote that Holder’s complete failure to present any evidence of wrongdoing, coupled with the DOJ’s cozy relationship with PWC and their apparent joint decision to destroy video surveillance footage of the alleged “obstruction,” caused the court to suspect a conspiracy at the highest levels of the Obama administration. “The Court is at a loss as to why the Government chose to prosecute this particular case in the first place,” wrote Judge Ryskamp. “The Court can only wonder whether this action was the product of a concerted effort between the Government and PWC, which began well before the date of the incident at issue, to quell Ms. Pine’s activities rather than to vindicate the rights of those allegedly aggrieved by Ms. Pine’s conduct.”

It is irresponsible for the U.S. Department of Justice to place politics above principle when deciding to prosecute, and thus attempt to silence, a pro-life sidewalk counselor without any evidence of wrongdoing.

When the nation’s highest law enforcement officer files suit against any citizen, the suit must be based on the law coupled with compelling evidence. Anything less is an abuse of the high office. Susan Pine will not be silenced or detoured from her mission to save the lives of innocent children. Indeed, “politics above principle,” intimidation of private citizens and jaw-dropping abuses of power are but a few hallmarks of this Obama administration.
