Dallas Cowboys Owner Shows Some Backbone.

Regular readers of this blog know I'm no a fan of the NFL. I'm a mild manner transplanted Southern Lady....... that is until College Football season starts. But I do have a new found respect for the Dallas Cowboys Organization and their owner Jerry Jones. Jones has done what I hope becomes a trend in the NFL and showed some backbone by standing up to members of the over-payed modern day minstrel sideshow known as the NFL by announcing if you kneel for the National Anthem, you won't be wearing a Cowboy Star.

"Jones is fed up with the disrespect being shown by some professional football players, such as Colin Kaepernick. The team owner decided to make one thing very clear to his players: If they so much as thought about kneeling during the national anthem, then they could find another team to play for. As the Dallas Cowboys begin training camp, Owner Jerry Jones wants to make one thing very clear to his team before the 2017 NFL season begins. Following a game on September 11th, 2016, Jones expressed pride in his time for universally choosing to stand for the national anthem." 

“I got to give a big pat on the back to our entire team, our coaching staff, our entire organization. We strongly, strongly support the flag.  In every way, we support — it’s almost ridiculous to be saying it — the people that for generations and generations have given it all up so we can get out here and show off in front of millions of people on television. We respect that so much. That’s the real business. The forum of the NFL and the forum on television is a very significant thing. I’m for it being used in every way we can to support the great, great contributors in our society and that’s people that have supported America, the flag, and there’s no reason not to go all out right there. For anybody to use parts of that visibility to do otherwise is really disappointing.” 

Do players have the right to kneel during the anthem as a form of protest?  Yes. However, that does not mean the team owner or coach doesn’t have the right to rid the team of their ungrateful ass if they do so. And they should!

Trump DOJ To Go After Affirmative Action in Higher Ed.

NewsBusters - On Wednesday, the network morning shows were all deeply troubled by a New York Times report that the Trump Justice Department was preparing to defend the civil rights of white students applying to college. At the top of ABC’s Good Morning America, co-host George Stephanopoulos sounded the alarm: 

“Breaking overnight, new reports the Trump administration is taking on Affirmative Action, preparing to investigate whether colleges are discriminating against white students.” 

Minutes later, correspondent Mary Bruce breathlessly declared:

“Overnight, The New York Times is reporting that the Justice Department is working on a plan to investigate and potentially sue universities for admission policies that are found to discriminate against white applicants'. ....critics say this cuts to the core of efforts to expand educational opportunities for minority students and could be a sign that the administration is changing course on a key civil rights issue.”

The problem with this version of the story is that the DOJ is actually looking into an unresolved discrimination suit from the Obama years brought by 64 Asian students for having points deducted from entrance exams simply for being Asian, while other groups have points added. But that truth points the finger of discrimination in the wrong direction for the media. 

A quick reading of the constitution says we are are equal under the law. Why should someone get extra points toward admission because of skin color? Are we to consider them inferior? And why are some docked points because they are smarter then most? Higher Education is not a civil right. IT"S A PRIVILEGE. A privilege you should earn by hard work.  Let the cream rise to the top.  

The Supreme Court has already ruled that schools cannot use racial quotas in admissions, but many of them do it anyways. The fact that race is being used to determine a student’s admission to a college is against the law and should be stopped. The only way to stop discrimination on the basis of race is to stop discriminating on the basis of race.

Would You Care For A Little Hell Fire and Brimstone with That Blooming Onion?

We have all heard the saying "They have too much time on their hands" and "Idle hands are the devil workshop". Well, here is one great example of just that. 

A SJW with an obviously under nourished vegan brain and WAY too much time on their hands is accusing the Outback Steakhouse of running a satanic cult after its chain of restaurants were found to be suspiciously located in several cities across the country. The restaurants controversial association was uncovered by the Twitter user who, with the help of Google maps and Microsoft Paint, showed that the restaurants were geo-located conveniently in the shape of a pentagram in places like New York, Indianapolis, Phoenix and Atlanta, and has garnered some 116,000 retweets and more than 3,000 comments.

Following the shocking discovery, several other amateur sleuths uncovered the same trend in Cincinnati, North Carolina, Tennessee, Miami, Texas, Philadelphia and Virginia.

Obviously this is a carefully staged Russian operation led by Vlad Putin himself.  Same they did with KFC ... anyone remember the coup d'etat when Colonel Sanders took over? 

But, like a smart corporation, Outback hasn't entirely ignored the claims and has played along, turning it into an online ad campaign by playfully using the debacle to promote their Blooming Onion appetizer.

Actually, the only thing evil about Outback Steakhouse is the friggin' demonic prices that they charge.......
