Ready for Eric Holder 2.0?

Look for one of the first duties, hopefully after the president gets through licking his wounds from mid-term election results, is to send his nomination to the hill for replacement of the corrupt out going Attorney General, Eric Holder.  Speculation is it will be Thomas Perez, the present Secretary of Labor.  Yeah, the same Labor Dept. that gave us phony job numbers before the 2012 election, and almost unbelievable fairytale numbers just in time for the 2014 mid-terms. Imagine that!

He's a perfect tool for Obama's upcoming assault on America's Immigration Laws and enforcement on the states.  Look for a swift attempt at confirmation while Democrats still hold chairmanship of committees in the Senate.

Below is my post from March 2013 when Mr. Perez was up for conformation for the Labor Dept.  It says all that needs to be said: it need not be re-written.

More Rot From the Inside
03/13/2013

Keeping with his theme of rotting America from the inside, Obama plans to move another dose of leftist disease into a more powerful administration position:

Meet Thomas Perez.

Dear Leader has tapped this radical leftist lawyer Perez to be the next Secretary Of Labor.  This douche is now an assistant attorney general at the U.S. Department of Justice. Yeah, Eric Holder's D.O.J. Here's a little background on Mr. Perez:

from The American Thinker
"Perez led the Obama administration's assault on voter ID laws last year. As John Fund and Hans von Spakovsky report in Who's Counting, as a member of the Montgomery County, Md., Council in 2003 he also tried to force governments to accept fraud-prone matricula consular ID cards issued by Mexican consular offices. He was a board member of Casa de Maryland, an advocacy group for illegal aliens funded by George Soros and the recently deceased Hugo Chavez.
Under Perez, the DOJ Civil Rights Division has refused to prosecute hate crimes committed against white Americans. He was reportedly instrumental in the Justice Department's dismissal of a case involving two Philadelphia-based members of the New Black Panther Party who intimidated white voters on Election Day 2008....."
More about the Panther case and an interesting recently released report on other race based justice cases can be read at PJ Media:
"Perez is apparently in favor of Saudi-style anti-blasphemy laws. In Saudi Arabia and other Islamic countries offenders can be condemned to death merely for insulting Islam. Amazingly, at a congressional hearing last year, Perez pointedly declined to rule out bringing such laws to the United States. At the July 27, 2012, meeting of the House Judiciary Committee's subcommittee on the Constitution, Perez refused to say whether he would uphold the religious speech protections in the First Amendment in the future.
Perez, like so many Obama administration officials, believes that America is a seething hotbed of "Islamophobia," filled with ignorant racist rubes who irrationally fear the Muslim religion. He has worked with hardcore Islamist groups such as the terrorist-linked Islamic Society of North America and applauded Islamists for lobbying against airline security measures...." Read More
Islamic radical friendly, advocate for illegals, doesn't believe in equal protection under the law for all races, educated in the nest of leftist worms called Harvard Law.......yeah, he should fit right in and be in a more powerful cabinet position in which to influence the rotting away from within agenda for America that is well underway.

Thank You IOTWR for the Linkage

Voting Chicago Style

Just Because Your Dead Doesn't Mean Your Vote Won't Count

By the Numbers: It's Voter Fraud on a Massive Scale

Patterico's Pontifications

"What you are about to read should be front-page news in every newspaper in the country tomorrow. You know it won't be — but I want you to treat it as that important... because it is. Jesse Richman and David Earnest write in the Washington Post:

"Could control of the Senate in 2014 be decided by illegal votes cast by non-citizens? Some argue that incidents of voting by non-citizens are so rare as to be inconsequential, with efforts to block fraud a screen for an agenda to prevent poor and minority voters from exercising the franchise, while others define such incidents as a threat to democracy itself. Both sides depend more heavily on anecdotes than data.
Our data comes from The Cooperative Congressional Election Study (CCES). Its large number of observations (32,800 in 2008 and 55,400 in 2010) provide sufficient samples of the non-immigrant sub-population, with 339 non-citizen respondents in 2008 and 489 in 2010. For the 2008 CCES, we also attempted to match respondents to voter files so that we could verify whether they actually voted.
How many non-citizens participate in U.S. elections? More than 14 percent of non-citizens in both the 2008 and 2010 samples indicated that they were registered to vote. Furthermore, some of these non-citizens voted. Our best guess, based upon extrapolations from the portion of the sample with a verified vote, is that 6.4 percent of non-citizens voted in 2008 and 2.2 percent of non-citizens voted in 2010."
This is astonishing — but Richman and Earnest fail to convey just how astonishing it is . . . because they don’t explain just how many people they are talking about.

Allow me to remedy that......"

Hillary Wades Deeper Into the Left Wing Pool of Delusion.

In June of this year, I posted about reported rumors that Obama had authorized his chief political adviser, Valerie Jarrett, to conduct a full-court press to convince Fauxcahontas Warren to throw her hat into the ring for 2016:
Some say Barrack Obama is quietly encouraging Mass. Senator Elizabeth Warren to enter the 2016 election and challenge perennial front runner, Hillary Clinton should she run. This would have two important results. Keep women's interest focused on the democrats, and a useful idiot's defense of his leftest policy gains and legacy, thus shore up the base of low info voters that were key to defeating Clinton in the 2008 primaries.
It seems Hillary Clinton may be taking these rumors seriously, possibly explaining the friction between her and the President as of late. And recent comments bare out, at least on the surface, that she may have started her jerk to the left and warm up to the democrat base and Lo-Fo voters before her announcement to run.

Rob Janicki has this take on her recent comments:
Hillary Clinton, echoing the radical loons of the far left, has managed to move toward that craziest of liberal loons, Elizabeth Warren, rumored to be a challenger to Hillary in the 2016 Democratic presidential campaign.  Clinton must be in fear of Warren's mounting appeal to the far left base of the Democrat Party and has decided to act now to stake out or, at least, contend for that insane far left territory of the 'delusional ones'.
On Friday, while delivering a stump speech in Boston for Martha Coakley, the Democrat candidate for governor of Massachusetts, Hillary echoed Warren's and Obama's comments that businesses don't create jobs.  It was moronic when Obama said it and when Warren mimicked him.  Now, Hillary seems to be reinventing that crazy notion as her own.
“Don’t let anybody tell you it’s corporations and businesses create jobs......You know that old theory, ‘trickle-down economics......That has been tried, that has failed. It has failed rather spectacularly.”
“You know, one of the things my husband says when people say ‘Well, what did you bring to Washington,’ he said, ‘Well, I brought arithmetic....."
Well, if Bill Clinton brought arithmetic with him to the White House, it must have been the forerunner of the Common Core math curriculum, because nobody else, other than a socialist can understand Hillary's math skills as they pertain to business.
Hillary is simply mimicking Marxist propaganda in an appeal to the "working class".  Let's not forget that the "working class" does not put up any of their own money at risk when they work for wages.  They perform the work they are paid to do and then they draw their pay.  In the process, the working class plays their role in the process of creating wealth, which, in part, pays their wages, but that's not all they might receive.
Many businesses provide employee stock participation programs with matching contributory funds.  The idea being that if employees have a financial stake in the success of the business, they will be motivated to perform at a high level of productivity.  If the business becomes more profitable, then employees, become stock holders (part owners) of the business and become enriched beyond their earned wages and enjoy the profits as stakeholders in the business venture.
Watch for more of Hillary's swing to the far left to pre-empt and dull Elizabeth Warren's march to Marxism.

Déjà vu All Over Again

After four years of failed policy and the disaster that was the  Obama Administration, many people were shocked when Barack Obama won re-election in 2012. There were rumors of voter fraud in precincts where more people voted than actually existed.

Then there’s this:
"Admitting his confidence in Cook County ballot integrity is shaken, State Representative Candidate Jim Moynihan (R-56), was shocked when he tried to cast a vote for himself and the voting machine cast it for his opponent instead.
“While early voting at the Schaumburg Public Library today, I tried to cast a vote for myself and instead it cast the vote for my opponent,” said Moynihan. “You could imagine my surprise as the same thing happened with a number of races when I tried to vote for a Republican and the machine registered a vote for a Democrat.”
While using a touch screen voting machine in Schaumburg, Moynihan voted for several races on the ballot, only to find that whenever he voted for a Republican candidate, the machine registered the vote for a Democrat in the same race."

The Weirdest Media Spin Yet for Obama

Don Surber
The day after a largely black audience walked out on him in Maryland, President Obama went on Al Sharpton’s MSNBC show in an effort to get black people to like him again.
Yes folks, Obama has fallen that low.
Sharpton asked him why he is supporting all these white folks who are running from him.
From the president: “The bottom line is, though, these are all folks who vote with me; they have supported my agenda in Congress. So this isn’t about my feelings being hurt. These are folks who are strong allies and supporters of me. I tell them -- I said, you do what you need to do to win. I will be responsible for making sure that our voters turn out.”
Obama’s handmaidens in the press immediately cringed, with the Washington Post headlining its report: “Obama giftwraps another sound bite for Republicans.
Aaron Blake wrote:
"While Obama’s previous comment suggested the election was indeed something of a referendum on him, these comments suggest not only that, but that Democratic candidates are actually on-board with him -- something most of them have made pains to argue is not the case.
Obama’s comments are the kind of thing Democrats might privately say to assure donors and the party base, but wouldn’t really say in public.
At the same time, he’s really only saying something that most political observers already believe to be true -- that however much distance these Democrats are seeking from the president, they will generally be on-board with his agenda. Almost all Democrats in Congress, after all, vote with their party the vast majority of the time."
You see, the problem is not his incompetence or the dishonesty of Democrats who say one thing but will do another -- such hypocrisy is accepted by the Washington Post when a Democrat shows two faces. No the problem is Republicans will sound bite the president.
 Oh noes!
Readers must admit this is the weirdest spin yet in 10 years of spinning for this empty suit, beginning with his over-rated speech at the 2004 DNC convention.

Panic Mode

Democrats Shuffle Their Deck of Race Cards
Ricohet
"Faced with a deeply unpopular President and a potential GOP wave, Democrats are digging deep to motivate their lackadaisical base. As always, the most prominent play is the race card.
In North Carolina, fans of incumbent Senator Kay Hagan are passing out disturbing fliers in African-American neighborhoods. “Kay Hagan Doesn’t WIN! Obama’s IMPEACHMENT Will Begin! Vote in 2014” says the text, which is printed over a photo of a white crowd lynching a black man."
"The local chapter of the NAACP doesn’t see a problem with the flier. President of the Fayetteville chapter, James Buxton, told the Observer, “That’s what the community feels. That if the Senate is taken over by the Republicans, and it remains the Republicans (in the majority) in the House of Representatives, they’re going to impeach him.”
County Republican Party Chairwoman Linda Devore saw things a little differently, saying, “I think it’s unfortunate to use this kind of emotion as a means to getting people out to vote. It’s bad information.”
The Fayetteville police are looking into the matter as “hate materials,” and expect federal authorities to be involved as they view the flier as an implied threat against the president.
If conservatives want to set the record straight, the GOP should reprint the lynching photo with the headline, “Remember When North Carolina Was Run by White Democrats? Vote Republican!”

But that's not all, this from Judicial Watch:

NAACP: Create Confusion By Deliberately Misleading Voters
"According to a letter from a lawyer for the State of North Carolina to the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), a speaker at a recent NAACP conference in North Carolina urged audience members to mislead the NAACP’s own members into believing they do not need to register to vote in advance, or that they do not need to vote at their assigned polling place. Why? The letter alleges: To create confusion and animosity during the upcoming mid-term elections in North Carolina, and to use the evidence of that confusion in the ongoing litigation between Eric Holder’s Justice Department and North Carolina and to show that North Carolina’s election integrity laws are discriminatory."

Outgoing Democrat Sticks It To His Own Party

by Robert Janicki

In a perverse way, you have to love Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa).  Harkin, a liar and all around mean spirited human being, has managed to stick it to his own party on his way out of the senate as he retires on January 3, 2015, with the new congressional term.

"Retiring Sen. Tom Harkin, D-Iowa, has angered his fellow Democrats by keeping the nearly $2.4 million in his personal campaign account rather than donating it to the campaign of Bruce Braley, the party's nominee to succeed him.
Harkin, who is retiring after five terms in office, plans to instead donate most of the funds to Drake University to help create a political institute in his own name...."
A couple of things about Harkin stand out in my memory.  The most egregious was Harkin's claim that he was a combat pilot during the Vietnam War.  The fact is that Harking ferried in aircraft from Japan to Vietnam.  He never saw combat.  That's what I call an "act of stolen valor", trying to ride the coattails of those who actually flew and put their lives at risk in combat air missions over Vietnam.

Another act of Harkin's was purely political and involved ridiculous pork barrel spending.  Harkin entered a bill costing several million dollars to create an indoor jungle in Iowa to study tropical agriculture.  How this would equate to Iowa agriculture never was explained, but it would have had Harkin's name on it.

Harkin's withholding his campaign war chest to donate to Drake University is Harkin's last egotistical act to burnish his name and reputation in Iowa.  Although Harkin may have campaigned and held fundraisers for Senate Democrat candidate Bruce Braley, Harkin's campaign war chest might be what it would take for Braley to defeat feisty and talented Senate Republican candidate Joni Ernst.

Braley is cut from the same cloth as Harkin, in that he will do or say anything to smear his opponent.  Like Harkin, Braley has an ego as large as all outdoors.  Unfortunately for Iowans, Braley's talent in no way matches his inordinately overblown ego.

*Editors Note - We'll end with saying something nice - "Thanks Tom,  for helping turn Iowa Red."

Deceased Floridians Kick Off Early Voting

Nearly 1 Million Americans Have Cast Ballots Already
For Midterm Elections
(AP) — Midterm elections are less than three weeks away, yet more than 904,000 Americans already have cast their ballots, with almost 60 percent of those early votes in Florida, according to data compiled by The Associated Press from election officials in 11 states.
Those numbers are climbing daily as more states begin their advance voting periods and more voters return mail-in ballots ahead of Nov. 4.  Thirty-three states and the District of Columbia allow some form of advance voting other than traditional absentee voting requiring an excuse.
A spokesman for national Democrats, Justin Barasky, said the party is especially focused on encouraging early voting by Democrats who usually don’t participate in midterms.
More than 2.35 million people voted early in Florida four years ago, while the 2012 number neared 4.8 million. It’s worth noting that Republicans led in the early stages in 2012 — a turnabout from Obama’s first presidential campaign. Yet Obama ended up carrying Florida a second time anyway.

Democrat Blues: Seeing Red Everywhere......

Republicans have single-party control in 23 states:
And More to Come

Mother Jones
There's never been a worse time to be a Democrat in a red state. Republicans now hold all the reins of power—the governorship and both houses of the state legislature—in 23 states. That's up from just nine before the 2010 elections. There are now more states under single-party control than at any time since 1944. And without even token Democratic opposition, Republicans have busted unions in Michigan and Wisconsin, passed draconian tax cuts in Kansas, and enacted sweeping new abortion restrictions across the nation.
"We are on offense this year," says Jill Bader, communications director for the Republican State Leadership Conference (RSLC), which works to elect Republican state legislators. "We're building these new majorities in some states that have been traditionally Democratic."
Midterm elections present problems for Democrats. The party's most loyal voting blocs—young voters and minorities, in particular—tend to vote at lower rates than in presidential years. This year, President Barack Obama's falling approval rating could drag down Democratic candidates for state legislative seats. And thanks to the GOP's widespread success in 2010, Republicans were able to redraw many states' legislative maps after that year's census, gerrymandering themselves into solid and consistent majorities.

Sleazy Wendy Davis Goes for The 'Hate The Disabled' Vote

by Robert Janicki
Wendy Davis, Democrat candidate for Texas governor is at it again with her despicable campaigning against Republican candidate, and current Texas Attorney General, Greg Abbott.  Davis' latest sleazy ad, not unlike her other ads, centers around Abbott's wheelchair bound status, a permanent condition since 1984 and caused by an accident with a tree falling on Abbott.  Abbott immediately became permanently paralyzed from the event.
It should be noted that Davis is the state senator that held up the Texas senate at the end of their last term by filibustering against an anti-abortion Bill that Governor Rick Perry was about to sign with the vote of the Republican senate majority.  Davis is pro choice (read that as pro baby killer) and strongly supports every other radical liberal position under the sun.
Davis is the worst of the worst liberals you can imagine.  There is nothing that Davis will not stoop to  in her driven desire to win high public office at any cost.  Just ask her ex-husband how far she will go to use people.  Davis filed for divorce from her husband the day she graduated from Harvard Law School, which her husband, at the time, paid for.  How deceitful is that?  That's just typical Wendy Davis.
Well, the cost of Davis' political mudslinging is mounting to epic proportions and Davis' reputation as a someone who will smear an opponent as the low life politician she is, will cost her this November 4th.  She is currently trailing Abbot 49-40 in the latest polling.  It's doubtful that Texans on the political fence will let this egregious and despicable smear go unnoticed when they vote against the low life that Davis really is.
You can see the Davis wheelchair ad at Politico and judge for yourself if this is a despicable smear or just politics Texas style.  I'm thinking you'll be just as revolted as I am.

Democrat Politicians Remind Me of Used Car Salesmen

Another Senate Candidate That Has All The Scruples
and Ethics of a Lying Sack of S**t

by Robert Janicki
It's been reported that Greg Orman said he will caucus with the party in the Senate majority in the next congress. Why should an Independent caucus with either Democrats or Republicans?  The answer is simple.  Orman  wants support for his agenda and is willing to sell out to either political party to see his own agenda advance.  I call this absolute deceit.  Apparently Greg Orman sees no conflict.  That's a lot easier for a man with no principles to assert.
"Independent Greg Orman says he could change parties even after he has allied himself with Democrats or Republicans if he wins the Kansas Senate election in November...."
" In an exclusive interview with NBC’s Kelly O’Donnell, Orman says he would initially caucus with whichever party has majority control in the Senate, because “it’s in the best interests of the voters of Kansas that they have a senator in the majority.”
I leave it to readers to determine whether they think Orman is lacking in scruples or ethics.  Okay, he's a wanna be politician, so, for many, a lack of scruples and ethic is a given.
For those who are unfamiliar with Greg Orman, he previously ran for the U.S, Senate as a Democrat and lost.  He has contributed to Democrat candidates and causes in the recent past.  Call me old-fashioned, but when it walks like a duck, quacks like and sh*ts like a duck, you can pretty much rely on the duck  being a Democrat.

Trouble in Talk Show Land.......and That Didn't Take Long

Tempers explode on the set of The View
'I'm so sick of your s***!'

A Legacy of Racial Politics

Eric Holder leaves a dismal legacy at the Justice Department, but one of his legal innovations was especially pernicious: the demonizing of state attempts to ensure honest elections.

Those who oppose photo voter-ID laws and other election-integrity reforms are intent on making it easier to commit vote fraud. Well-established evidence show that voter-ID laws don't disenfranchise minorities or reduce minority voting, and in many instances enhance it, despite claims to the contrary by Mr. Holder and his allies. As more states adopt ID laws, the more left has railed against them with increasing fury, even invoking the specter of the Jim Crow era to describe electoral safeguards common to most nations, including in the Third World.

Ascribing racial animus to people who are trying to safeguard democratic integrity is a crude yet effective political tactic that obscures the truth. But there's something even worse than name-calling: legal interference from Washington with valid state laws.

Off the Rails Democrat Tweet of the Week

Vice Chairwoman of the DNC

I once again apologize for my state foisting upon America such leftist moonbats as former Al Gore Campaign Manager, Donna Brazile, and the infamous James Carville among others. Luckily, Democrats are a dying breed in this state outside of their traditional strongholds in the deep southern parts of the state.

Welcome to Gulag Obama

Therapeutic Counseling and Re-education Camp for Political Dissidents.

by Robert Janicki
"A federal judge on Tuesday sentenced Dinesh D’Souza to five years of probation, including eight months in a community confinement center, ordering no jail time for the conservative author and pundit who pleaded guilty to using straw donors to make an illegal campaign contribution...."
"U.S. District Judge Richard Berman handed down the sentence, which also includes a $30,000 fine. D'Souza must attend weekly therapeutic counseling sessions and perform community service, the judge said....."
When was the last time anyone heard of a non-violent Federal Election Code conviction and sentencing including "therapeutic counseling sessions'?  That strongly smacks of a communist Russia gulag re-eduction camp experience for political dissidents.  But the judge wasn't finished by any means.  In addition to the excessive $30,000 fine, the judge committed D'Souza to 8 months in a half way house, which means he can leave during the day to earn a living, except for the "therapeutic counseling sessions" and one day a week of community service teaching English to immigrant children.  Frankly, I'm surprised that the judge didn't shame him further by ordering him to trot around the entrance of the half way house during his incarceration hours carrying a placard saying he was convicted of a crime against nature and all of humanity.

I challenge anyone to find a comparable sentence handed down for a similar violation of the Federal Election Code.  It just doesn't happen, unless you're the president's biggest and most observable and articulate critic on a national level.

D'Souza's crime was convincing two friends to each donate $10,000 to the political campaign of an old friend from college, with the proviso that he would repay them at a later date.  That was it.  That was what D'Souza was convicted of under the Federal Elections Code.  Now, I'm not saying D'Souza is innocent, but what I am saying is that the sentence handed down was not consistent with similar violations of the Federal Election Code.

That's where justice has been seriously blurred with the retribution of a  political outcome.

Best Dinner Table Comeback of the Night......

"Excuse me, but my 'White Privilege' doesn't allow me the ability to function consistently at a mediocre level and still attain advancement because of my skin color." BAM!! - Spoken to a liberal by a state employee passed over for promotion 3 times for a lesser qualified minority candidate.

As We Prepare to Say So Long to Another Junior Varsity Affirmative Action Obama Administration Member....

The Most Corrupt Attorney General in American History

The 7 Most Ridiculous Things Eric Holder Has Said and Done

Attorney general has become a controversial title. The nation’s top cop, the attorney general is supposed to take the lead in enforcing federal law. But no attorney general appointed in modern times has become as much of a lightning rod as Eric Holder. Appointed at the beginning of President Obama’s first term, Holder was controversial right from the beginning, and finally he has announced that he’s stepping down. Let’s take an opportunity to remember some of his most truly outrageous moments.

Racial justice in New Haven:
When the New Haven Fire Department announced that it had openings for firefighters, an exam was administered for qualified applicants. A number of test-takers passed, but there was a problem: none of them were African Americans. On this basis, the city of New Haven declared the test results null and void. Outraged, eighteen of the men who passed the test sued the city, demanding that the results be honored.

Attorney General Eric Holder filed a brief in support of the city of New Haven (though also arguing that the case should be remanded to a district court). The Supreme Court ultimately disagreed and ruled in favor of the firefighters. African Americans face real discrimination, but Holder’s decision to intrude into this case was unnecessary and itself supported a discriminatory position.

Behaving like a child:
Congressman Louie Gohmert got the opportunity to cross-examine Holder in 2012 over the Boston Marathon bombings. Gohmert and Holder had a tense exchange that ended with Gohmert bungling his words and declaring, “The attorney general will not cast aspersions on my asparagus!” Fast-forward to 2013 and Gohmert and Holder were going at it again. Holder ended his side of the argument by sneering, “Good luck with your asparagus.”

Yes, the attorney general of the United States of America waited an entire year to come back to the House of Representatives and taunt a sitting congressman over a verbal flub. Our country is truly in the hands of five-year-olds.

Eric doesn’t know, Eric doesn’t know:
Speaking of congressional testimonies, Eric Holder was repeatedly summoned before various committees over the years, usually related to one of the many scandals that plagued his department. Holder usually responded by mimicking a mid-level manager who had just started his job earlier that week, scratching his head and saying he just didn’t know. After one his testimonies before the House Judiciary Committee, the Washington Free Beacon put together a montage of Holder in all his unknowing glory.

Only sitting Cabinet member held in contempt of Congress:
This one mostly speaks for itself. After months of Holder stonewalling over the Fast and Furious gunrunning scandal, withholding key documents and staying tight-lipped during testimony, the House GOP had finally had enough. They voted to hold Holder in contempt of Congress, making him the only sitting Cabinet member in American history to achieve that distinct honor.

The effects of this can’t be understated. As a result of the contempt charge, at any point the House could have sent in the sergeant-at-arms to arrest Holder and hold him in prison. They also could have prosecuted him in order to force him to provide the outstanding documents.

Spying on and intimidating journalists:
A good Justice Department should seek to enforce the First Amendment. Not so Eric Holder’s. Thin-skinned and tyrannical, the attorneys under him aggressively seized an enormous number of phone records from the Associated Press regarding their publication of a story about al Qaeda in Yemen. When the scandal broke, Holder assured the House Judiciary Committee that he’d recused himself from the AP incident and had never been involved in the prosecution of a journalist.

Not long after that, it was revealed that Holder had, in fact, gone after a reporter: Fox News’s James Rosen, whose emails the DOJ seized. The agency also speculated, almost casually, that Rosen could have been prosecuted under the Espionage Act for reporting on North Korea—also known as “doing his job.”

“I’m proud to be an activist Attorney General”:
In an August interview with Juan Williams, Holder boldly proclaimed that he was proud to accept the label of “activist attorney general.” He also declared: “Any attorney general who is not an activist is not doing his or her job.”

Later, he defiantly added that critics who say his department includes an “activist civil rights division and this is an activist attorney general — I’d say I agree with you 1,000 percent and [I am] proud of it.”

Drone ‘em at home too — actually, never mind:
You may recall the controversial secret memos drawn up by Judge David Barron, which provided legal justification for the Yemen drone strike that killed American citizens without a trial. This underhanded justification, along with the appointment of CIA Director John Brennan and an alarming letter from Eric Holder, sparked Senator Rand Paul to speak for 13 hours in a filibuster.

“It is possible, I suppose, to imagine an extraordinary circumstance in which it would be necessary and appropriate under the Constitution and applicable laws of the United States for the President to authorize the military to use lethal force within the territory of the United States,”
Holder wrote in the letter.

Holder would backtrack on that shortly after the filibuster and ruled out drone use on American soil.

I pray the integrity of the Department of Justice and the Enforcement of American Law becomes a major issue in the coming 2016 Presidential Election.

Gabby Giffords Shoots Self in Foot With Attack Ad

Smear of Pro-Gun Candidate Backfires

by Robert Janicki
A person is shot and killed by a criminal, who was illegally in possession of a gun.  What happens next?  It's as certain as the sun rising in the east tomorrow, the next day and forevermore.
Liberals will cry out for more gun controls on law abiding gun buyers and owners.  They figuratively wave the bloody shirt of the victim/s and loudly proclaim that all who oppose further gun control are somehow knuckle dragging Neanderthals responsible for a criminal's use of an already illegally acquired gun.  It's the same crap just warmed over every time a gun is used illegally.  Somehow, liberals believe that such ridiculous logic will actually sway people to demand more gun control and they may be right, considering they are appealing to the cognitively challenged, not to mention all the illegally registered voters they have signed up.
Here's the latest liberal smear of a Republican congressional candidate in Arizona that went very badly for liberals.
"On September 17 ... Americans for Responsible Solutions (ARS)--the gun control group founded by Gabby Giffords and Mark Kelly--was running an ad attacking GOP Congressional candidate Martha McSally for defending the Second Amendment..." (breitbart)
Guess what tactic Giffords used to attack Martha McSally.  You got it.  Bring out the figurative bloody shirts of the two victims and try to paint McSally as the cause for the victim's death, because McSally doesn't support radical reactionary gun control over law-abiding gun owners.  Here's what happened to Giffords shameless smear of McSally.  Hint: a major backfire and blowback on Giffords.
"On September 19 the Arizona Republic condemned the ad, saying it "waves the bloody shirt" by taking "the tragic death of two innocents" and trying to lay them at McSally's feet. The Republic says the ad's "base and vile" approach is hurting Giffords' image while leaving McSally untouched.
The Republic says the ad is "more than Hardball politics," it's the "[exploitation] of a family's tragedy to score cheap political points...." (breitbart)
The blowback on Giffords and Representative Ron Barber, the Democrat that Giffords supports, could not have been more deserved.  With talent like this, Giffords needs to go out and support more Democrats with her warped view on further gun control and diminishing the 2nd Amendment and the individual's right to own firearms. .
