This guy was just upset with his boss and told it like he thought it was. What a great job of ad-libbing. He never misses a beat, if you listen carefully, you'll hear the cameraman and soundman lose it.
I seriously doubt this commercial was ever aired. Contrary to what the accompanying blurb has to say, there was extensive use of videotaping in the sixties.
That is Chick Hearn that used to own Brand Motors in LA. Ralph Williams somehow ended up owning it. That is so cool seeing it in northern California.

ReplyDeleteThere's a reason car salesman is the least respected profession on earth lol. This would've been a hoot to see on live tv back in the day.
