The Corrosive Effects of Obama's Lawlessness

by Rob Janicki
The details of this local issue described below seem to be of little note compared, however, to the greater issue of how the local police reacted to a concerned citizen's complaint and what effect it might have going forward in time.  Here are the details of the local issue, followed by the police response with an accompanying video of the incident.
Seeking to file a complaint about the Helmetta Regional Animal Shelter, Steve Wronko visited the Helmetta Police Department to air his grievances about the shelter falling prey to nepotism and corruption as a result of Helmetta Mayor Nancy Martin appointing her son Brandon Metz to head up the facility.
“I’ve made objections about what’s going on at the shelter over there,” Wronko tells the police officer, adding, “My first and fourth amendment rights were violated, my civil rights were violated.”
“Obama just decimated the freakin’ Constitution, so I don’t give a damn. If he doesn’t follow the Constitution, we don’t have to,” responds the cop, brazenly violating the oath he swore to uphold the Constitution." Read More Here
It's that last paragraph above that becomes very disconcerting.  It illustrates a couple of possible points to be made.  The first point is the obvious corrosive effect that President Obama's lawlessness is having on America's law enforcement personnel and the rule of law upon which our republic is based.
The second point to be observed is how callously the local police are using Obama's  faithless execution of the laws of the United States, as an excuse for their failing to adhere to the rule of law.  Either law enforcement in this small town is truly exasperated with the continued diminution of the rule of law and is using poor judgment as a result, or they are using current political and legal events as an excuse to violate individual rights framed in the Constitution for their own nefarious purpose or purposes.
In the best of times the police power is always to be monitored in its application to weed out the inevitable 'bad apple' in the proverbial barrel using police power for personal purposes.  In the worst of times, which we seem to be experiencing, police power is now quickly becoming suspect as to its motivations and mendacious application as illustrated in the video below.
When the President of the United States acts like an tyrant and openly and abitrarily disregards the Constitution and the legally adopted laws of the United States, we come to a tipping point in law and society.  It's the rule of law that separates our constitutional republic from the many lawless totalitarian nation states around the world.
