Fund Raises More Than $200,000 to Cover Fine For Damages Levied by Oregon Gaystapo

Score one for the good guys, even if it's only a partial victory. The State of Oregon has failed in its attempt to bankrupt Aaron and Melissa Klein for the crime of declining to bake a cake - as the preposterous $135,000 fine it levied was no match for the willingness of good people to help out the Kleins and their now exclusively online business, Sweet Cakes by Melissa. Through a campaign via Continue to Give, people who still respect both faith and freedom have responded to the following appeal by contributing more than $200,000:
"Let's help the Kleins through this hard time as they fight for religious freedom; which they are not just fighting for themselves but for all of us as our freedoms are threatened. They have been struggling financially ever since they were forced to close the doors of their bakery in 2013 as their income was basically cut in half. If they are forced to pay the damages to the lesbian couple they will be in much worse shape than they are now. They are pioneers in standing strong for the Lord and have been very courageous and steadfast throughout this whole ordeal. Please let's rally around them to help ease the stress of everyday expenses and unexpected urgent needs. Thank you for your desire to help the Klein family, they will certainly appreciate it."
It's nice to see there are alternatives to Go Fund Me, which banned campaigns in support of Gaystapo targets after the very successful one on behalf of Memories Pizza in Indiana. Not everyone is so easily intimidated.

The Kleins were forced to take the business online in order to avoid continued harassment from the state, and they're still under a gag order from talking about why they won't bake cakes for gay weddings - although they're openly defying the gag and daring the state to do anything about it.

Keep telling their story. And keep exposing as a lie the secular left claim that gay marriage has nothing to do with you and won't hurt you in any way. This whole gay marriage movement isn't even about gays. It's just a pretext.
