As If You Need Another Reason to Believe Islamic Militants are the Scourge of Humanity

Muslim Clerics Call for the Destruction
of the Great Pyramids

Anyone who has stood at the foot of the Great Pyramids of Gaza and marveled at the feat of engineering and human accomplishment, unsurpassed until the building of the Cathedrals of Europe and the moon landing, may have a hard time stomaching this story.

It comes on the heels of the destruction of tombs In Timbuktu, 14th Century Tombs On UNESCO World Heritage List…

From Frontpagemag.com
"According to several reports in the Arabic media, prominent Muslim clerics have begun to call for the demolition of Egypt’s Great Pyramids—or, in the words of Saudi Sheikh Ali bin Said al-Rabi‘i, those “symbols of paganism,” which Egypt’s Salafi party has long planned to cover with wax. Most recently, Bahrain’s “Sheikh of Sunni Sheikhs” and President of National Unity, Abd al-Latif al-Mahmoud, called on Egypt’s new president, Muhammad Morsi, to “destroy the Pyramids and accomplish what the Sahabi Amr bin al-As could not.”
"This is a reference to the Muslim Prophet Muhammad’s companion, Amr bin al-As and his Arabian tribesmen, who invaded and conquered Egypt circa 641. Under al-As and subsequent Muslim rule, many Egyptian antiquities were destroyed as relics of infidelity."
"Now, however, as Bahrain’s “Sheikh of Sheikhs” observes, and thanks to modern technology, the pyramids can be destroyed. The only question left is whether the Muslim Brotherhood president of Egypt is “pious” enough—if he is willing to complete the Islamization process that started under the hands of Egypt’s first Islamic conqueror."

  1. The Religion of Peace, strikes again.

Tell me, all you "Islam is a tolerant, peaceful religion" types: how to explain something like this?

Islam is every bit as pernicious and vindictive as Nazism, Fascism and Communism, and much like those discredited political philosophies, Islam cannot EVER abide anything that threatens (or proves) that society and culture before or after Islam is/was better, richer, more sophisticated.

The "Pagan" Egyptians built the pyramids; the infidel Westerners built the modern skyscrapers of Cairo, Dubai and Damascus; the apostate English built the Suez canal; The Arab world has electricity, running water, schools, hospitals and paved roads mostly because heathen Western Oil Money paid for them.

Islam does not build: it only destroys, and what it does not destroy it merely usurps.

It is said that when Caliph Omar captured the city of Alexandria in 642, he was asked what to do about the fabulous library -- compiled by the Greeks, the champions of rational secularism. When asked by his subordinates about what to do with the treasured manuscripts within the library, Omar is supposed to have said of them:

"Whatever agrees with God is not needed, whatever disagrees with God is not wanted".

After which, we're told by various sources, the heating systems of the bathhouses of Alexandria were fueled for the next 18 days by burning copies of Archimedes, Euclid, Eratosthenes, and Hipparchus, among others.

And that principle seems to have guided Islamic nutjobs ever since, suitably modified by the biggest douche of them all, the Ayatollah Khomeini:

"Whatever agrees with MY VISION of God is not needed, whatever disagrees with MY VISION of God is not wanted".

Just remember, Islam has been turning everything it touches to sh*t since 632 AD, and shows no signs of having lost that reverse Midas touch. In fact, they're often proud of it.

  2. And we now have a "president" who ascribes to that same philosophy, tearing apart everything for which this country stands.

  3. Ah, DS, if the greatest accomplishmet of Africa, besides burning the Library of Alexandria, (why'd they keep all those great Greek scriptures there?), is to build big stacks of rocks, hell, let them un-stack them. We'll pay them for the rocks, and rebuild them in the Southwest USA.

    Or, we could just nuke'em.
