John Kerry Voted Dead Last in Terms of Effectiveness

Least effective U.S. Secretary of State of the past 50 years

Foreign Policy magazine this week announced the results of its 2014 Ivory Tower survey of 1,615 international relations scholars from 1,375 U.S. colleges. The survey quizzed respondents about recent historical events and future policy challenges.  Among the questions ask in the survey: who was the most effective secretary of state over the past 50 years?

Not good news for for the Earl of Ketchup.

The winner of the polling was Nobel Peace Prize winner Henry A. Kissinger, who was secretary for four years during the Nixon and Ford administrations. Kissinger got 32.21 percent, extraordinary in such a large field.

“Don’t Know” came in a relatively distant second, with 18.32 percent.

James Baker, Secretary of State in the George H. W. Bush administration, who was actually the most effective secretary in the last 50 years, came in third at 17.71 percent, just behind Dr. Know.

Madeleine Albright and Hillary Clinton tied for fourth at 8.70 percent. (no doubt voted high by female scholars for obvious reasons).

And Pulling up the rear, Lawrence Eagleburger came in 12th place with only 0.31 percent.

And dead last, was John Kerry. He got a total of two votes of the 660 scholars who responded.
It can't be very comforting to Sec. Kerry that he polled behind  Eagleburger, who was only secretary of state for six weeks. (insert laugh track here)

And to think, this is the man who democrats put their faith in to defeat George Bush and become the 44th President of the United States......

Hilton Family Member Arrested in LA Over Plane Brawl

It is known to regular readers of this blog that the Hilton Chain of hotels seem to have a personal vendetta against DMF and have blocked this website on their hotel public computers as recently discovered by regular reader Grunt of Monte Cristo. 

Now comes the news that the weasel of the Hilton Family, none other than little Conrad Hilton just got himself arrested for a brawl on a Trans-Atlantic British Airways flight. 

Now as someone who has spent a large part of their life in the air flying both commercial and private, Diogenes has made many good friends who work in the commercial aviation industry. 

These facts should not be construed in any way shape or form to imply Diogenes would stoop so low as to conspire, nor imply Diogenes has any knowledge of anyone on their behalf covertly slipping a Mikey in Mr. Hilton's drink, causing him to be “uncoordinated, delusional and paranoid” while erratic and yelling  “I will [expletive] fight you,” and “I am going to [expletive] kill you,” and “I will [expletive] own anyone on this flight; they are [expletive] peasants” --resulting in him being securely duct taped to starboard wing for the duration of the flight.

I repeat, Diogenes denies all knowledge of any conspiracy involving tainting anyones drink on any flight anywhere in the world for the purpose of publicly humiliating someone of high stature for fun.  It's only a rumor......

"Jordan’s King Abdullah is a former general and special forces commander who experts say has the resolve to follow through on his vow to crush ISIS.

Following the release of a ghastly video showing a captured Jordanian air force pilot being burned to death, the 53-year-old monarch warned that retribution will be swift. And with an army of more than 100,000 well-trained soldiers, tens of thousands more in reserves and a capable air force, Abdullah’s kingdom is more than up to the task, Middle East experts told FoxNews.com.

The king is very serious about being a military guy.  For much of his life, he thought he was going to be a special forces commander and for some time he was.   

He didn’t do that from the back of chauffeured cars. He did that from Black Hawk helicopters and command posts at the site of terrorist raids....."

Meanwhile, President Obama will be “redoubling efforts” against ISIS.  

Al Sharpton Butthurt Over Ferguson Protesters Who Refused to Support Him

Professional race-baiter Al Sharpton has been making the rounds since chaos erupted in Ferguson, but the younger generation of protestors is getting sick and tired of him. Needless to say, Sharpton is insulted. In Sunday’s address to members of the National Action Network, he basically compared the young protestors to “pimps” and “hos.”

From Capital New York:

"Sharpton said he acquiesced, and told the crowd in Harlem today, “I’ve been meeting with them and talking with them since. And they were told, ‘Your problem is Al Sharpton and the other guys.’ Anytime you have movements, whether it’s in Ferguson, whether it’s in New York, whether it’s in Denver, wherever it is, when they got you more angry at your parents then they got you at the vote you’re supposed to be out there for, you’re being tricked and you’re trying to turn the community into tricks. And they are pimping you, to do the Willie Lynch in our community.”

It was a reference to the colonial era slaveowner who taught others how to manipulate slaves into submission.

Sharpton added, “It’s the disconnect that is the strategy to break the movement. And they play on your ego. ‘Oh, you young and hip, you’re full of fire. You’re the new face.’ All the stuff that they know will titillate your ears. That’s what a pimp says to a ho.”

Don’t let his words fool you. He doesn’t actually care about uniting the black community. He’s just throwing a childish fit because everyone doesn’t want to kiss his rear.

Jordan Illustrates to the Obama Administration How to Deal with ISIS Terrorists.

King Abdullah, monarch of the Kingdom of Jordan, cut short his trip to Washington, D.C. and a meeting with our feckless president early Tuesday to return to Jordan for the following day's dawn execution of two Al Queda related terrorists previously convicted and condemned to death for acts of terrorism in Jordan involving the deaths of innocent Jordanians.  

The execution of these two terrorists has now come less than 24 hours after Jordanian intelligence confirmed that the Jordanian Air Force pilot captured and held by ISIS in Syria had already been slain by ISIS earlier in a grisly death by immolation.  At approximately the same time, ISIS released a choreographed video of the entire process of their savagery in murdering the Jordanian pilot. 

ISIS, knowing it had already slain the Jordanian pilot had tried to negotiate a swap for one of the two terrorists, an Iranian woman.  The Jordanian government demanded proof that their pilot was still alive, probably suspecting that he had already been killed.  When no proof was forth coming, the Jordanian intelligence community let it be known their pilot was already dead at the hands of ISIS.  It was then that ISIS released the gory video of the pilot's brutal and inhumane murder by being set on fire by ISIS.

The lesson to be learned from this for the Obama administration is that actions speak louder than words or threats, which seems to be the extent to President Obama's military savvy and understanding in how to deal with Islamic terrorists.  The Jordanian government illustrated how they treat terrorists, contrary to the way the Obama administration weakly and timidly approaches terrorism with halting steps and actions that ultimately lead to a retreat from reality.

Expect Jordan to exact even more retribution on ISIS in the form of increased military attacks on ISIS personnel and facilities.  King Abdullah has already stated that Jordan will seek swift and devastating revenge on ISIS and, unlike America's Commander in Chief, will bring down Jordan's wrath upon ISIS in short order.  

Meanwhile, America's embarrassment for a president has counseled King Abdullah to only use a measured response to ISIS's latest butchery.  King Abdullah, trained by American special forces and once the head of Jordan's special forces, understands the concept of overwhelming force to quickly and thoroughly defeat an enemy, something which escapes President Obama and liberals in general.

King Abdullah does face internal resistance from some tribal forces that believe the attack on ISIS is not their war and supporting such a war places them as supporters of the West against fellow Muslims.  Expect King Abdullah to overcome this resistance despite the political cost to his monarchy.  Also expect King Abdullah, the son of the late king, Hussein, a strong monarch and military man in his own right, to be decisive like his father and act to restore Jordan's honor, which has been besmirched by ISIS terrorists.

King Abdullah understands the Arab mind.  Force must be met with overwhelming force, since anything less is viewed as weakness.  Unfortunately, America's liberal mindset cannot master that concept and insists on a measured proportional response to all attacks on American interests and counsels other nations in this same impotent tactical claptrap.
