DT - As insane as this one sounds, it’s sadly true. A feminist running for Congress (a democrat of course) is warning that private corporations will use the moon to hurl “nuclear” rocks at Earth. At least that’s what I think she’s warning about. You be the judge. Brianna Wu is running for the US House of Representatives in Massachusetts and describes herself as both a democrat and a feminist. She noticed an article on Wired about how Elon Musk’s SpaceX company is planning to send a manned mission to the moon next year and because both democrats and feminists freak out over the weirdest things, she freaked out.

Huh? Is she trying to suggest that SpaceX is going to take control of the moon and then “drop” rocks on the Earth, which will then explode with the power of hundreds of nuclear weapons? I think so, but that doesn’t make this any less crazy.

She is accusing Elon Musk of being some kind of Bond villain or Dr. Evil from the Austin Powers films. Yes, a giant meteor would be destructive to our planet, but any kind rocks Musk could drop on the planet would burn up in the atmosphere. It might make a pretty shooting star that Wu could use to wish for some sanity, but it wouldn’t nuke the planet.

What do you want to bet that this woman also believes in the “proven science” of man-made global warming and thinks anyone who is skeptical is a science-hating heretic? I’m sure she also believes in the “science” that killing babies saves lives and that a person born with a penis is really a woman if he says he’s a woman.

Univision/Fusion Television anchor Jorge Ramos kicked off his participation in the 2017 edition of the Spanish Language network's annual entertainment awards show, Premios Lo Nuestro ("Our Awards") by amping up the conversation on immigration with a  tirade  of nationalistic identity politics and racially-driven statements of demagoguery.

"I am an immigrant, just like many of you. I am a proud Latino immigrant here in the United States. My name is Jorge Ramos, and I work at Univision and at the Fusion network. And you know exactly what is going on here in the United States. There are many people who do not want us to be here, and who want to create a wall in order to separate us. But you know what? This is also our country. Let me repeat this: OUR country, not theirs. It is our country. And we are not going to leave. We are nearly 60 million Latinos in the United States. And thanks to US, the United States eats, grows and, as we've seen today, sings and dances. So when they attack us, we already know what we are going to do. We are not going to sit down. We will not shut up. And we will not leave. That is what we are going to do."

Ramos' speech is amazingly strident, with an "us against them" tone that one would not expect from someone who incessantly promotes diversity from the other side of his mouth. When Ramos told the audience that "there are many who do not want us to be here", he erases any distinction between legal and illegal immigration, and irresponsibly casts immigration as an exclusively Latino issue.

Ramos would have been in the clear had he stopped at "this is also our country". Such a statement hints at inclusion, patriotism, and a pro-forma desire to assimilate and function as an integral part of the nation as a whole. However, Ramos crossed a bright line when he decreed the United States to be "OUR country, not theirs". 

Ramos' statement, suggests a separate nationality to which U.S. Hispanics owe some sort of allegiance. Ramos, of all people, should know better than to approach the lines of racial and cultural supremacy.

I've enjoyed little more then watching the descent of 'Bathtub Boy" Keith Olbermann from Media Star to just a floater in the leftist media latrine in recent years.  Once the on high main anchor of Cable News MSBNC, to the little known and watched Current TV, to now broadcasting on the Internet with a used GoPro in an empty basement in front of a piece of a set background that looks much like it was salvaged from a dumpster behind a local theater company. The first time I watched this guy on TV he made my skin crawl. With his legendary use of a thesaurus, he reminds me of a cross between a smooth talking pretentious college law student, and one of those creepy people who never take responsibility for their actions by blaming others.

Other then Nancy Pelosi's latest inability to communicate two legitimate thoughts in public, Olbermann's latest video is a high point of lunatic machinations emanating from a fog of anti-depression meds we have witnessed so much from media and politicians since the last election.

Olbermann proclaims in his latest basement installment - "HE MUST GO".   This is one of Olbermann's most interestingly twisted videos yet, and I think the men in white coats and a padded room are not far in the distant future.....

Imagine that!

DownTrend - The Trump hating fake news manufacturing hub "The Washington Post" is rolling with a new slogan to usher in the coming age of witch hunting. In an bid to meld its comic book quality McNews coverage and raving editorial diatribes with the ominous theme of a Batman movie the WAPO proudly presents:

The motto is reportedly a favorite saying of the bloated, beltway cocktail circuit power suckling zombie that used to be crusading reporter Bob Woodward. Billionaire WAPO owner and venomous Trump adversary Jeff Bezos reportedly took a liking to it given his paper’s flair for the dramatic as a cheap way to put a new gloss their tired bullshit.

Hot Air smacks it into the upper deck by connecting with a 101-mph fastball of truth:

"Turns out this purplish prose is a favorite saying of Post editor Bob Woodward, who’s been using it to celebrate the media clergy for years. Post owner Jeff Bezos picked it up somewhere along the line and started using the phrase himself. Only now, though, a month into Trump’s administration, did the paper see fit to put it beneath its masthead as a sort of mission statement. Department of Homeland Security Shifts Funds from Defending Illegals to New Office to Help Their VICTIMS. 

An excellent example of the media turning a blind eye to what Obama was doing to America. Defending illegals rather then protecting the citizens. 

CNS - On Tuesday, DHS Sec. John Kelly issued an immigration memo shifting the U.S. government’s efforts and resources away from defending illegal aliens to helping their victims. The memo creates the “Victims of Immigration Crime Engagement” (VOICE) office, which will act as “liaison between ICE and the known victims of crimes committed by removable aliens.” 

The memo also reallocates “any and all resources” currently used to advocate for illegal aliens and terminates “outreach and advocacy services” provided to them. 

“Criminal aliens routinely victimize Americans and other legal residents. Often, these victims are not provided adequate information about the offender, the offender's immigration status, or any enforcement action taken by ICE against the offender. Efforts by ICE to engage these victims have been hampered by prior Department of Homeland Security (DHS) policy extending certain Privacy Act protections to persons other than U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents, leaving victims feeling marginalized and without a voice. Accordingly, I am establishing the Victims of Immigration Crime Engagement (VOICE) Office within the Office of the Director of ICE, which will create a programmatic liaison between ICE and the known victims of crimes committed by removable aliens. The liaison will facilitate engagement with the victims and their families to ensure, to the extent permitted by law, that they are provided information about the offender, including the offender's immigration status and custody status, and that their questions and concerns regarding immigration enforcement efforts are addressed.”

Taxpayer funding and government support of illegal aliens:

* In the past two years, the Obama Administration spent $9 million of taxpayer money to provide attorneys to illegal aliens.

* DHS had previously offered hotlines to help illegal aliens seeking executive amnesty and enable complaints against those seeking to enforce U.S. immigration law, and even opened an illegal alien advocate office.

* Even today, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) still advertises safe zones (“sensitive locations”) – such as school bus stops, health clinics and parades - where illegal aliens will be free from enforcement actions.

NBC News Officially Resigned as News Agency

Once a semi-respectable older sibling to their retarded step-sister MSNBC, the floating turd known as NBC News has finally grabbed the handle and flushed themselves down the drain of the vintage media.

In a network produced promotional video, titled “Dear Mr. President,” NBC uses children in a blatantly negative video that paints Donald Trump as divisive and racist. Not one single child has anything respectful to say. This is a type of video that once was unthinkable, and a video that would have never been made during Barack Obama's administration, regardless of what he did or said.

In the video, one young black girl says “Most of my family is black. I'm afraid that you're gonna hurt some of us blacks.” Another non-white youngster says "You are here, attempting to white-wash America.” These are not the words of children. It is the power of a scripted propaganda machine.

It should come as no surprise that this NBC News video uses children to advance talking points. It is a shameful display that no journalistic organization with any semblance of integrity would have even released. But then again, we are talking about NBC.

Liberals seeking refuge from reality now have a fake news website where they can pretend to live in a world where Hillary Clinton is president. HillaryBeatTrump.org, a satirical news site devoted to covering stories from an alternate universe where Hillary won last November's election. 

The site’s description reads:  “In the midst of a Constitutional crisis, this is our response,  Long live the true president, Hillary Rodham Clinton.” No one is sure who the website is run by, but they are obvious liberals. The writing is a bit amateurish and and not very funny, with the post titles being the best thing on the site.  We all know lefties aren't really know for their sense of humor anyway.  But snowflakes can take solace in the fact when they can no longer fight back the rage and the tears, they have a place to run to now .

There is no comment section on the site, (damn!) and that should tell you a lot right there. They probably know what would happen if they did!

Congressional Black Caucus to Renew Call For Taxing the White Folks

Michigan Rep. John Conyers and his fellow CBC members have plans to re-introduced legislation to set up a commission to consider whether reparations should be paid to black Americans for slavery. Conyers has been proposing the same bill every year for at least two decades. The bill would also consider the prospect of the federal government issuing a formal apology for the "racial and economic" discrimination against African-Americans. This despite the fact that slavery was outlawed over 150 years ago.

According to The Root magazine, known for its unapologetically pro-black stance on the issues, even some free black Americans “bought and sold other black people, and did so at least since 1654, continuing to do so right through the Civil War.”  And even one of the most leftist papers in existence, The New York Times, admitted two years ago that were a reparations bill passed into law, payments would “have to come from taxpayers, who have no culpability for those past crimes and little, if any, of the benefit.”

Unless the government were to use only the funds of white taxpayers, which would be inherently racist, reparations would therefore be funded by Americans of all races, including black Americans.   The bill was to all intents and purposes economically unfeasible, historically inaccurate and a royal waste of time, one likely rooted in animosity as well as ignorance. Over 150 years have passed since America’s darkest days, and within that time frame, the nation has become one of the most tolerant countries on Earth, as reported three years ago by The Washington Post.

The problem Mr. Conners and the rest of The Caucus of Congressional Black Folks fail to see is that the overwhelming majority of whites in this country are for the most part the product of Legal Immigration at the turn of the last century and came from nations that had no part in the African slave trade. They also refuse to acknowledge is any  racial and economic discrimination from the past can be overcome by stop teaching their children hate, and with completing the educational that is offered to all children. Black's problems in America today stem from their culture, their morals and attitude, not the past. They have worn that excuse out long ago.
