Democrats Intent On Destroying Themselves over the Official Mueller Probe Report

The longer the Democrats obsess over the Mueller report and the possibility of obstruction, the bigger hole they dig for themselves. The reason is simple. The average American -- what Groucho Marx used to call the Barber in Peru (Indiana) -- not the army of Beltway lawyers, will scratch his/her head about why someone should be charged with obstructing justice for a crime he did not commit and did not even occur (i. e. collusion with Russia).

Yes, they understand there are legal niceties, but the bottom line remains. And those same middle American "Peruvians" realize -- how could they not -- that Donald Trump was under unprecedented assault from the media and Democrats from well before he first sat down behind the desk in the Oval Office. They further are completely familiar with Trump's personality, his thin skin, his outspokenness, and are able to see him as a man responding emotionally -- sometimes to his own detriment -- to those almost entirely unjustified accusations. Most people will sympathize or at minimum be able to understand this as a defensible human reaction rather than obstruction of justice in a legal sense.

This is why House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler and his cohorts are acting essentially as unpaid press agents for the president by keeping the Russia probe front and center and consequently paying less attention to issues that actually affect people's lives. - Roger Simon

What Is it About Jeffrey Toobin and Stepping On Rakes?

The number of people in the media losing their minds over what the Mueller Report says, or rather what is not saying, continues to grow. CNN has been particularly all-in on the idea that Trump has got to be guilty of something, and is going wall-to-wall with its coverage of insinuations. But, it’s not the on air personalities that are doing the best analysis out there. It’s the people who are payed “analysts” for the network, all of whom have a very inflated sense of self-worth, who are firing away with some of their best material. Aside from the mumbling semi-senile, one trick pony Carl Bernstein, none is more entertaining than Chief Legal Analyst Jeffrey Toobin, who is very good at being not good at legal analysis. Toobin, who seems to have acquired a love of publicly stepping on rakes didn't disappoint us today:

If you’ve ever seen the movie 'Legally Blonde', then you know that "exercise releases endorphins, endorphins make people happy, and happy people don’t kill their husbands." Prestigious Library Journal Comes Out Against........ Libraries 

Don’t Oppress My People With Your Public Libraries

The Tweeter feed of the prestigious Library Journal, a "global community of more than 200,000 librarians and educators," proudly directs its readers to the mental exertions of one of it's own, Ms. Sofia Leung and her screed entitled "Whiteness As Collections"  

"Our library collections, because they are written mostly by straight white men, are a physical manifestation of white men ideas taking up all the space in our library stacks. Pause here and think about this."

Ms Leung, an academic librarian, is unhappy that public libraries in the US, a white-majority culture with a white-majority history, tend to have among other things lots of books by authors with pale skin, white dudes thinking great thoughts, or as we used to call it, Western Civilization. This, we’re told, is an “interesting mini-eureka moment” that our Queen of Intersectional Rumination feels compelled to share. 

Ms. Leung airs her distaste for "white men ideas", as if they had been uniform across continents and throughout history, while reminiscing about attending a "white AF conference" two years earlier. I was unsure what the “AF” might refer to and searched for some literary or scholarly explanation. It then occurred to me that a "white AF conference" is, to borrow the woke vernacular, a white as fuck conference. Which is how not-at-all-racist academic librarians convey their thoughts, apparently.

"If you look at any United States library’s collection, especially those in higher education institutions, most of the collections (books, journals, archival papers, other media, etc.) are written by white dudes writing about white ideas, white things, or ideas, people, and things they stole from POC and then claimed as white property… 

When most of our collections filled with this so-called "knowledge," it continues to validate only white voices and perspectives and erases the voices of people of colour."

At which point, things get a little breathless and intermittently grammatical. However, readers may wish to ponder how synthesising insights from around the world, and from cultures long gone, and preserving those insights in libraries is somehow a bad thing. Readers may also wish to ponder the implications of a librarian and self-styled educator, schooled at the University of Washington and Barnard College New York, and who is offended by the existence of “white ideas” and the “so-called : knowledge of "white dudes."

As if sensing that her thoughts aren’t sufficiently lurid and unhinged, Ms. Leung then shifts into higher gear;

"Library collections continue to promote and proliferate whiteness with their very existence and the fact that they are physically taking up space in our libraries. They are paid for using money that was usually ill-gotten and at the cost of black and brown lives via the prison industrial complex, the spoils of war, etc...."

Amid this avalanche of conspiracy theories and rote indignation, we’re told that the prevalence of books by pale-skinned authors in a majority-white country "indicates that we… don’t think people of colour are… as important as white people."  The exact line of reasoning here is somewhat unclear and obscured by the inevitable in-group incantations, including "sites of whiteness", a term deployed to describe public libraries, and which we’re to believe somehow crush the very breath out of the heroically brown.

Ms. Leung reminds me of another classless ethnic elitist we all know who once spoke in a similar vein.

Buttimania Is All The Rage

Now that Beto O'Rourke has been exposed as the buffoonish imbecile that we always suspected he was from the beginning, the media have scrambled to help find a new standard-bearer for Democrats, and have settled as the flavor-of-the-day, Pete Buttigieg. Since so many in the media seem to be gay these days, Mayor Pete has become that new shiny thing that, unlike caustic loudmouths Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren and commie curmudgeon Bernie Sanders, is like an adorable little pet. Kinda like a gerbil.

Buttigieg has been the subject of multiple glowing media stories over the last several weeks even though he has little political experience at anything other than overseeing the filling of potholes and is the hip midwestern millennial with the cute hubby that liberal media types are swooning over.  He has now joined the pack in rear ending our democracy,  spewing the party line by taken up the rallying cry to disenfranchise tens of millions of Americans, including those in his home state, by eliminating the Electoral College and allowing the coastal elitist and urban pavement dwellers to steal the democratic process away from ordinary citizens. Democrats seem more willing than ever to gut the Constitution if that is what it takes to regain the presidency and secure their place as our permanent overlords.

But some in the media are reluctant to play dutch rudder with Mayor Pete, seeing the hierarchy of victimhood is a complicated and often a conflicted issue for Democrats, given all the factors contributing to their precious identity & gender politics. As an openly gay man, Buttigieg’s candidacy is getting more traction that you might expect for a politician with such a limited resume, and that doesn’t appear to be sitting well with progressive women, who’ve been hammering away at their own perceived glass ceiling. Candidates like the Wicked Witch of the North, Amy Klobuchar, Bubble Brain Gillibrand, even fire spitting Kamala Harris with her very big rollout, haven't been getting as much attention at Buttigieg.

In today’s gender-fluid era, gender, race and sexual orientation just skim the surface of possible distinctions. Does the color of one’s skin trump being a woman, and does being gay rank higher or lower? Is it possible that a married gay white man from South Bend, Indiana is less threatening to some of the voters than a woman or a woman of color women? We'll see. The media is sure to let us know.....

Congressional Caveman: ‘You appear to be white men’

 House Financial Services Committee Member Rep. Al 'Caveman' Green (D -Texas)

Last November, one of America's favorite temporal lobe challenged congress members, Maxine Waters, took time out from yelling 'In Peach 45' to threaten America, saying if the dems retook the House she, as chair of the House Financial Services Committee, would exact revenge against America’s financial sector. Last week she started her clownish inquisition with the heads of some of America's largest banks. First, she made a fool of herself in classic Maxine fashion. Later, her fellow Black Caucus and House Financial committee member, Rep. Al Green, put on an magnificent show of personal ignorance in an attempt to score points, one that should have embarrassed the entire committee. It helped illustrate the dark backward path the democrat party has decided to take the country down.

In a display of racism that is now considered acceptable behavior by elected representatives in post-Obama America, CEOs from seven of the biggest banks in the country were singled out by a black Democrat lawmaker because of the color of their skin. Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) a member of the House Financial Services Committee saw fit to ask the CEOs to confirm their obvious race and gender as he questioning them last Wednesday.

"As I look at the panel, and I’m grateful for your attendance, the eye would perceive that the seven of you have something in common. You appear to be white men. I may be mistaken. If one among you happens to be something other than a white male, would you kindly extend a hand into the air?"

None of the seven raised their hand. Oh, to have a penny for their thoughts as they looked on while the black lawmaker singled them out for the color of their skin.

"This is not a pejorative. You’ve all sermonized to a certain extent about diversity. If you believe your likely successor will be a woman or a person of color, would you kindly extend a hand into the air?"

Again, no one raised a hand. This highly awkward approach would have embarrassed a better man, but undaunted, Green went on badgering those reuctant to play into his political charade.

"For fear that you may not hear me, just raise your hand now so that I’ll know you’re there. Raise your hand, please. All of you."

"Sir, apparently you don’t hear me over on the end. Would you kindly extend a hand into the air if you can hear me?"

"All white men, and none of you, not one, appears to believe that your successor will be a female or a person of color."

After stating "My ancestors were slaves", Green continued his "raise your hand" theme as he questioned the CEOs about the practices of banks from the 19th century in regard to slavery. Mentioning that JP Morgan released information in 2005 that indicating it directly benefited from slavery, Green asked James Dimon, the chairman and CEO of JP Morgan, Chase & Co. to respond.

"I do believe that in 2005 we issued a report about potential transactions that involve slavery between its heritage companies in the 1800s."  Green seemed dismayed the other banks had not found themselves sufficiently guilt-ridden enough to do their own study on dealings of nearly two centuries ago.

The juvenile approach continued as Green asked the bank heads to raise their hands if they "believe that your bank benefited from slavery in some way," and to raise their hands if they did not believe that they benefited. No one played along other than Dimon, who had already acknowledged the report his company produced.

Identity politics, group outrage, color and gender trumps merit. Ladies and Gentlemen, your power drunk, bigoted modern overlords of the democrat party.

I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, that democrats and the ivory tower media are making such a fuss about DJT's proposal to send illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities. This the liberals and media should be applauding! Sanctuary cities actively invite illegals to come there for safety, and all the president proposes is sending those cities more of what they said they were willing to take, and he's even throwing in free shipping. After all, Sanctuary city leaders, and apparently indirectly city voters, have been willing to provide the millions of dollars in tax resources to welcome them the past two years. 

Sanctuary cities are indeed the most humane option for the million or so illegals that arrive each year, and their mayors should specifically request receiving illegals for humanitarian reasons and even compete for illegals. The inhuman alternative is releasing illegals to areas unprepared to suddenly handle tens to hundreds of thousands of needy people, which would be inhumane because they would get far less care, less housing, less food, and less medical care than the sanctuary cities. If one illegal is good for a sanctuary city................

What Trump has brilliantly done is applied the fourth of Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.”

The holier-than-thou media and democrat politicans have been lecturing the public for years how illegals are the ideal citizen and no walls or other efforts should be made to stop or limit their crossing into the United States. Yet when the President offers to send them more illegals, they object. These Mayors and governors are currently violating federal law by harboring illegal immigrants and refusing, at the cost of the lives and property of their legal citizens, to report their presence to the federal government.

So why do they object now??  Well, let's suppose the mayor of Oakland or San Francisco opened their doors and welcomed 100,000 illegals a year. Their progressive citizens might initially rejoice and embrace their new residents. But reality would sink in before very long, with massive hikes in taxes, crime, disease and homelessness and all, things that are already apparent in some places.  Residents would eventually revolt. Or maybe the liberals love illegals but just don’t want “them” in THEIR neighborhood (lookin' at you Malibu Babs) which makes them the greatest hypocrites of all time and deserve all possible ridicule and scorn they get from law abiding American people.

Chinese Scientist Work to Help Improve Cable News Network

Chinese scientists have implanted human brain genes into monkeys in an attempt to boost their development and provide insights into the unique evolution of human intelligence. Analysis of the monkeys' behavior and physiology showed they developed in a more human-like fashion, with better short-term memory and a faster reaction time compared to a control group. The genome of rhesus monkeys differs from ours by a few percent. That's millions of individual DNA bases differing between humans and monkeys. Researchers inserted human versions of MCPH1, a gene that scientists believe plays a role in the development of the human brain, into 11 rhesus monkeys. "Our findings demonstrated that transgenic nonhuman primates (excluding ape species) have the potential to provide important -- and potentially unique -- insights into basic questions of what actually makes human unique," the authors wrote.

The monkeys underwent memory tests requiring them to remember colours and shapes on a screen, and were subjected to MRI scans.  The authors said the rhesus monkey, though genetically closer to humans than rodents, is still distant enough to alleviate ethical concerns. However, some questioned the ethics of the experiment.

Ricky Maddow: Moonbat Conspiratorial Rants for a Hateful, Aggrieved, and Ignorant Audience

For 2 years a completely absurd set of allegations presented as fact has dominated the airwaves and paralyzed the executive branch, specifically that the President of the United States of America was 1) a compromised tool of Moscow (New York Times November 29, 2018), 2) had colluded with Russia as a candidate (January 26, 2019), and 3) was an agent of Kremlin (NY Times article January 11, 2019). These falsehoods flashed before our eyes in newspapers, television news shows, social media one-minute stories, and in the political weaponized entertainment industry though numerous Saturday Night Live skits and countless hecklings by late night comedy hosts. Had these stories been classified as paid political advertisements and not “journalism” or “entertainment,” the onslaught of Trump-Russia smears would have represented an unprecedented multi-billion dollar negative ad campaign that would have even strained Michael Bloomberg’s wallet. But peddled as “news” these narratives hearkened back to the propaganda sheets of Pravda and the unintentionally hilarious articles on the North Korean news website.

The investigation into Trump and members of his business and political world has turned up more incriminating evidence on his bureaucratic adversaries in the “deep state resistance” and the governmental institutions, that they’ve turned into a Maginot Line with the guns pointed down Pennsylvania Avenue. The Beltway swamp creatures have been exposed as partisan fraudsters, but what about the national press who have compensated them for promulgating their slanders?

The First Amendment allows the rigged media outlets to profiteer though it does not obligate us to support their antics, nor does it prohibit Americans from justly criticizing them. After eight years of “obey and conform lest you are a racist,” the media has returned to their Bush-era identity of encouraging the most obnoxious “patriotic” dissent imaginable, with no violent language or genitalia foam costume being too extreme.

The entire Russia episode was nothing more than salacious “impeachment porn” (an appropriate analogy considering the involvement of an actual adult movie “performer” in the investigation) intended to drive the audience to an intense frenzy. However the feature concluded not with the desired euphoric climax but abrupt disappointment, leaving their fantasy of seeing President Trump (and his children) perp walked out of the White House in handcuffs unfulfilled.
