Those were the days. Space travel, Cocoa Beach and Corvettes. I was just in the old FCR1 last month at the Chris Craft Mission Control Building while there from some meetings at JSC. They've got the room looking just like it was during the Apollo 11 flight. Coffee-stained carpet and everything. But no ashtrays. And it doesn't stink of smoke anymore. Not really authentic, after all.
