Got Lawyer?

On April 18 Judicial Watch won the court case which forced the release of the Ben Rhodes memo along with 40 other memos. On April 19 Barack Obama began to lawyer up.
Which brings us to the strange case of President Obama’s decision to hire Neil Eggleston to be his new White House Counsel. Eggleston is the kind of guy you go to when someone tells you, “time to lawyer up.
Which begs and pleads the question, is Obama looking for more protection for the White House from the various GOP congressional probes, or is he aware of the possibility that something much, much worse could break?
Enter the House Select Committee on Benghazi – Eggleston won’t be enough.

Party on Dude!

As the Obama Administration continues to come unraveled at the seams amid revelations of domestic spying, lies, corruption, incompetence, lavish spending on vacations, perverted policy failures and an economy dead in the water, seems nothing can put a damper on White House partying. Last Thursday night celebrities, liberal activists and assorted rich 1 percenters got together at the Obama Mansion to congratulate themselves for forcing Americans to do something against their will.
"Celebrities, athletes, healthcare advocates and liberal activists gathered Thursday night at the White House to celebrate the release of final data from the first ObamaCare open enrollment period. The party, which according to Time magazine drew about 300 people, came ahead of the weekend festivities for the White House Correspondents' Association dinner."
Ah yes. And there is Saturday nights glitz and glam of the lapdog media and the adoring rich liberal 1% Hollywood pornographers (although fewer then years past) gathering at the annual White House Correspondents Dinner at the Washington Hilton.
"The ground floor of the Washington Hilton has become a scrum of hundreds of evening-attired guests chasing for the most surreal moments. The presence of stars among the guests of media organizations is also a long tradition, but it has escalated during Obama’s administration."
No word if there will be a Kardashian sighting this year but if there is, CNN Newsroom will even provide for your viewing pleasure live updates of the red carpet arrivals during the 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET hours. At 11 p.m. the network’s coverage of the dinner will have an encore presentation. Don Lemon, and the lovely national correspondent Suzanne Malveaux will give the play-by-play.

Party on Dude, while you still have the means. I feel your time is coming due.

Did They Lie? They're Democrats Aren't They.

"The Ben Rhodes memo revealing the duplicity of this administration on the subject of Benghazi reminds us about the character of those involved. That President Barack Obama could lie so evenly and so passionately (remember the second presidential debate?) is not perhaps surprising at this stage. But let's not forget what it took for Hillary Clinton to lie to the grieving father of an American hero. ...
"As the Rhodes memo makes clear, the president sent his U.N. ambassador to the Sunday shows to lie. Susan Rice was 'to underscore that these protests are rooted in an Internet video, and not a broader failure of policy.' Rice did as she was told. The election was less than two months away. A foreign policy failure would not be politically convenient, so it would be made to go away. It's one of the minor injustices of this sorry story that Rice has received more condemnations than the president or secretary of state, who pulled the strings." Mona Charen
