The Newest Nonsense of Climate Change Alarmists

Lefties are having a really tough time with this global warming thing. For starters, they had to ditch the Global Warming label when they realized temperatures weren’t actually going up. Not only that, the warming that does take place is natural according to some studies. So, they changed their catchphrase to a much more dinner table friendly “Climate Change”.

But, that hasn’t been going well either thanks to faulty data and outrageous propaganda being peddled instead of actual facts. Now, we’ve got a new angle to push climate change alarmism. It’s causing car crashes and killing people!

"Global warming was responsible for thousands of road deaths in 2015, according to a new study, contradicting many public safety experts who blame increased cell phone use for the spike in traffic fatalities. 

“As temperatures continue to increase from heat-trapping gases in the atmosphere, road deaths will likely increase more than expected unless there are major mitigating countermeasures,” retired Yale University epidemiologist Leon Robertson said in a statement." 

"Traffic deaths rose by 2,348, or 7.2 percent, in 2015 to 35,200, according to Transportation Department data. Robertson said rising temperatures and increased rainfall had people driving more miles than they would have otherwise, leading to more deaths......" - The Daily Caller 

Whaaat????
I'm not really sure how they come to equate Heat+Rain = more people driving more. Seeing there are an ever increasing number of autos on the road every year, you would expect more traffic deaths anyway. Seem to me they missed some simple logic here: the more you cross the street, the better chance of getting run over. DUH!   

But when you have to prey on people’s emotions and make them unreasonably afraid to win your argument, then your argument probably isn’t a good one in the first place. There’s no way to definitively prove this Heat+Rain=You're Gonna Die in a terrible fiery car crash on a rainy highway connection. But, that won’t stop them from pushing an agenda. There's rarely definitively proof of anything the left says.

Tesla Car Battery Production Produces As Much CO2 As 8 Years Of Driving On Gas

Elon Musk, who seems to have mastered the modern liberal art of sucking the taxpayer for subsidies for his pet projects, like solar roofs and attractive electric cars with explosive batteries, must be a bit embarrassed by this study. Or maybe he has been fully aware of this possibility the whole time....... 

"IVL The Swedish Environment Institute has, on behalf of the Swedish Transport Administration and the Swedish Energy Agency, investigated the climate impact of lithium-ion batteries from a life-cycle perspective. The batteries for electric cars were included in the study. The two authors, Lisbeth Dahllöf and Mia Romare, have done a meta-study, that is, reviewed and compiled existing studies.  -  The report shows that battery manufacturing leads to high emissions. For each kilowatt-hour of storage capacity in the battery, emissions of 150 to 200 kilograms of carbon dioxide are generated in the factory. The researchers have not studied the individual car brand batteries, just how they were produced or what electrical mix they used. But to understand the importance of battery size, two standard electric cars on the market, Nissan Leaf and Tesla Model S, have batteries of approximately 30 kWh and 100 kWh respectively.  -  Even before you buy the car, CO2 emissions equivalent to 5.3 tons and 17.5 tons, respectively, gets produced. The numbers can be difficult to put in context. By way of comparison, a trip for a person returning from Stockholm to New York by air emits more than 600 kilograms of CO2, according to the UN organization ICAO’s calculation model.  -  Mats-Ola Larsson at IVL has calculated how long you need to drive a gasoline or diesel car before it released as much CO2 as the battery manufacturing produced.  -  The result was 2.7 years of CO2 emissions for a battery the same size as a Nissan Leaf and 8.2 years for a Tesla-sized battery." -  Principia Scientific

Another conclusion of the study is that about half the emissions come from producing the raw materials and the other half from the battery factory.

Female-named Hurricanes Kill More Than Male Hurricanes

 Because People Don’t Respect Them

This is actually a news item in the once respected Washington Post, and probably the stupidest thing you will read all day.  According to the Post, a university research study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, claims people don’t take hurricanes as seriously if they have a feminine name and the consequences are more deadly. Yeah, you read that right.

"Researchers at the University of Illinois and Arizona State University examined six decades of hurricane death rates according to gender from 1950 and 2012. Of the 47 most damaging hurricanes, the female-named hurricanes produced an average of 45 deaths compared to 23 deaths in male-named storms, or almost double the number of fatalities." 

The article goes on to clearly state "The study excluded hurricanes Katrina and Audrey, outlier storms that would skew the model." 

Oh, so they exclude two of the most destructive and deadly hurricanes to ever hit the Gulf coast? Well well. Could it be that if they didn't exclude them, their groundbreaking political correct phony gender equality pushing study would come off sounding even more ridiculous, seeing the authors of the study fail to explain what makes the findings sound even remotely legitimate since storms weren't even given male names until 1979! 

"The difference in death rates between genders was even more pronounced when comparing strongly masculine names versus strongly feminine ones. “[Our] model suggests that changing a severe hurricane’s name from Charley … to Eloise … could nearly triple its death toll,” the study says. “People imagining a ‘female’ hurricane were not as willing to seek shelter. “The stereotypes that underlie these judgments are subtle and not necessarily hostile toward women – they may involve viewing women as warmer and less aggressive than men.”

Ladies and gentlemen, after only the short time I have lived in Louisiana we have experienced 3 direct hits of major hurricanes.  A cat 5 and two Cat 3's. And I can assure you I heard no one, not one say "aw it's just one of them female storms, not to worry.  No, even before the first outer rain bands reach the coast, for most it's load the mule and make haste. But the world is abundant with stupid people and this study just re-enforced the fact. Some choose not to run and pay the price. The ignorance determines the death toll, NOT A FRIGGIN' NAME! 

This study is just some college researchers advancing a feminist agenda, justifying their position and grant money by tweaking stats to their advantage. (sound familiar?) And it's an ideal story to forward WAPO's agenda and advance the left's newest "Cause Celeb" of Gender Inequity, which hypocritically ignores "Accomplishment & Merit" just as the researchers conveniently ignored the fact some people are just too damn stupid to get out of the rain.

Chicago-area ANTIFA Group Crowdfunded an Anti-Right-Wing Gym to Train Up Them Some Bad Asses

A group of ANTIFA morans in Chicago who call themselves “Haymaker Collective”, who vowed to combat an ‘increasingly violent’ Right-wing Trump America, recently emerged from their parents basements after crowdfunding a startup for a “self-defense” training gym. The Indiegogo fundraiser asked for donations totaling $50,000, but sadly fell short by only $44,000 bucks. Since they didn’t hit anywhere near their goal (mainly because anti-fascist fascist protesting doesn't pay very well) the group of mostly pasty white millennial would-be-ninja gym members are regulated to training on the spacious lawn behind the Chicago’s Museum's Adler Planetarium. 

The gyms purpose is to train ANTIFA members to fight “white supremacy” and to combat “hetero-normative, masculine gym culture,” creating a safe space for those who feel threatened by “Trump’s America” and traditional gyms full of those testosterone laden muscle bound bullies. 

A video produced by Unicorn Riot, which bills itself as “Your Alternative Media” features the project’s creators and members talking about their goals with their modest startup gym. We'll let them explain this whole thing as only a pasty white basement dwelling unemployed millennial can do.

So......When Will the Left Begin Policing Itself??

The Left has been calling for unprecedented levels of “Resistance”. This includes even the Former Attorney General of the United States, Loretta Lynch, calling for “blood in the streets”.  David Simon, the writer for the television show 'The Wire', urged people to “pick up a brick”.  Film producer Paul Schrader wrote, “I believe this is a call to violence” 

Angry lesbian Lea DeLaria of “Orange Is the New Black” proclaimed that she was ready to “pick up a baseball bat and take out every f–kin republican and independent I see.”  Even Hillary's running mate Tim Kaine urged people to “fight in the streets”. Protestors have called for violence against Trump and the Republicans as part of their rhetoric, even before Trump had taken the oath of office. Colleges students have been passing out fliers calling for violence against Trump and his administration.

Vox published a call to violently riot in protest of a Trump visit. The City of Berkeley let the AntiFa protestors begin a street fight and riot in order to silence a pro-Trump speaker. The Huffington Post, lets not forget, published an article stating that violence was a good response to Trump - and this before he was even the official nominee. The author even said it was a logical response to Trump. Kathy Griffin… you can make up your mind if that was a call for violence or an approval of the sentiment, but in the end, its the same thing. And there's Snoop Dog and his video executing the president. There’s been others. There continue to be others.

The Left has bred this problem. The Left has allowed this problem to grow. The Left (Democrats, Hillary supporters, Bernie Bros, Antifas et al.) must tone down their repeated calls for violence. Otherwise, what happened yesterday is only going to be the least of what will happen. Calling for violence because your side lost an election, when the systems and processes for peaceful change still exist, is not acceptable!!  But if you insist on violence, you will most certainly lose.........

Is This Really a Look Inside the Deep State That Threatens the Trump Presidency?

Note: It's no secret there are forces afoot that are determined to bring down Donald Trump and his presidency.  Who that are, no one knows.  I post this news story without any certainty of it's believability. I will let the reader decide. It could itself be part a misinformation campaign. I ran across this on a website called Third Estate NewsGroup.  It is a fairly new site, leaning towards current affairs. It looks legit, but in this day and age, you never know. The events of the this week in particular make it a mind grabbing story, but my suspensions were raised as to the method the information you're about to read was accessed. I urge the reader to read it with a grain of salt. That said, if true, we could have our first glimpse into a coming dark chapter in American history.  - Diogenes

"The possible existence of a subversive American “Deep State” has captivated the attention of political observers and supporters of President Trump for months, and for the first time, evidence has allegedly surfaced that casts a light on the shadowy operations of a group many claim is working to bring down the Presidency. This information comes as President Trump is battling his worst week in Washington so far. In the past seven days, a constant stream of leaks and unsourced stories have sent the Trump White House into a tail-spin, and calls for his impeachment have grown.

On Wednesday night, just hours after the Dept. of Justice appointed a Special Prosecutor to handle the Trump/Russia probe, a series of screenshots began spreading around the Dark Web, a colloquial term for the portion of the Internet that is unlisted in search engines and requires special encrypted software to access. The Dark Web is known as the “Internet home” to those who wish to communicate anonymously and hacker groups like Anonymous.

An unidentified user going by “FreshCamel” posted on several Dark Web message boards Wednesday evening asking other users to help him make sense of communications he had intercepted on a messaging platform called Gliph, a secure messaging service that uses end-to-end encryption to prevent communications from being tracked back to those who sent them. This individual did not provide much context regarding the source of these communications, but American users quickly put the pieces together.

On initial inspection, the screenshots, which are printed in their entirety below, appear to be taken from a short, highly-coded conversation held between approximately 5 individuals in the United States intelligence community on Wednesday, May 17th from 2:31 pm to 3:15 pm.

Third Estate Newsgroup’s Contributing Editor Micah Bull worked to make contact with “FreshCamel” late Wednesday night via an encrypted email service, and this individual confirmed that he had accessed the personal computer of an employee at the FBI sometime around April 24th. This access had been obtained through a falsified “phishing” email that installed spyware on this employee’s computer when opened. “FreshCamel” declined to identify this individual for the time being, but confirmed that he or she is a higher-level employee in the Bureau. 

According to “FreshCamel,” this individual’s computer is used to join a secured chat channel on Gliph approximately four times per week for exactly 45 minutes each session. Activity has increased in recent days, “FreshCamel” confirmed. For weeks, “FreshCamel” casually monitored these chats without realizing what they were, but when a topic of discussion in Wednesday’s chat became a major news story in the United States just hours after the chat was closed, he decided to seek help.

These screenshots (shown below) show a 45 minute chat on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 17. From 2:31 pm to 3:15 pm, 5 separate users sent a total of 20 messages. “FreshCamel” confirmed that there were a total of 13 users “present” in the chat room, but the users known as “Severus,” “Roger,” “Huck,” “Juules,” and “Dooku” are those who consistently speak the most in these daily chats.

The chat begins with mention of “RR” and Mueller, hours before Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announced that former FBI Director Robert Mueller would be named as the Special Prosecutor handling the probe into the Trump campaign’s communications with Russia. The users admit that the news will “blindside” the White House.

Then, the topic of conversation turns to an individual referred to as “MF” and whether or not these users should work to “put [him] back in the news.” They eventually agree that an individual known as “S” will work to draft a “memo” somehow connecting “MF” to Turkey and the user known as “Huck” will use a secured connection with their “friends in New York.”

On Thursday, a major story broke that former Trump National Security Adviser Michael Flynn had accepted money from the Turkish government and then intervened on their behalf in U.S. military operations. Flynn and Trump associates have denied these reports, but Flynn remains the subject of an ongoing FBI investigation.

Judge Who Blocked Executive Order on Funding for Sanctuary Cities Worked on Immigration Cases For Obama Justice Dept.

WJ -The federal judge who on Tuesday blocked President Donald Trump’s executive order aimed at denying federal funding to sanctuary cities raised money for former President Barack Obama in 2008 and worked for the Obama-era Justice Department on immigration-related cases. According to Public Citizen, U.S. District Court Judge William Orrick III, who in 2008 was still an attorney in private practice, was a bundler for Obama, raising more than $200,000 for Obama. Public Citizen also reported that Orrick gave $30,800 to the Obama campaign.  Orrick did not remain in the private sector very long after Obama took office. In 2009, he joined the Justice Department. There, Orrick oversaw the Office of Immigration Litigation. In 2012, Orrick was nominated to his current post. He was confirmed a year later.

In its reporting on Orrick, the Washington Examiner noted that during Orrick’s confirmation hearing, he said he would remove himself from “cases involving issues, policies or initiatives developed by the Obama administration” in which he was involved at the Justice Department. Leon Fresco, who succeed Orrick at the Justice Department, was asked about any conflict between the Trump order and Orrick’s past. “In one way, if there’s a lawsuit about a Trump-era executive order then the record is confined to the Trump-era and he does not have to recuse himself,” Fresco explained. “But in the other way, because he was an employee of the DOJ Civil Division, and a lot of who would be litigating this were his colleagues and there was discussion of these matters while he worked there, then he would have to recuse himself.”

At Orrick's confirmation hearings he told the Senate Judiciary Committee he supported the concept that the federal government was supreme in issues related to immigration. “It is important that the country speak with one voice on immigration." He lied. He is also the same judge that blocked the release of the embarrassing and very telling videos of Planned Parenthood's Murder Inc., granting the injunction requested by the National Abortion Federation.

We here at DMF pride ourselves in our effort of bringing you something other than what you see on fifty other websites everyday.  Sometimes we even go so far as to put on our industrial strength hip-waders and crawl down into the ditches along the interwebz and do recon on left-wing sites where rodents run free, just to make fun of them. But sometimes just a simple one or two word Google search can put you on a path to snarky gold.

We all know it's pretty much a given that kooks are everywhere. And there's evidence that people who believe in one conspiracy theory are also more likely to believe in several, a phenomenon come to be known as "Crank Magnetism."  If a secret cabal of very powerful globalists brought down the World Trade Center, faked the Sandy Hook massacre, and almost put Hillary Clinton in the White house, it only makes sense that they're also hiding the truth about the moon landings, homeopathy, vaccines, and the indisputable fact that global warming is a hoax. 

So it should come as no surprise that when a Pointy Headed Aryan in charge at the white supremacy website 'Daily Stormer' posted a video making fun of flat-earth "theorists", a remarkably large portion of his readers were very, very angry and upset, because after all only an idiot would believe the Jewish/Masonic/Illuminati lie that Earth is a sphere.

Seeing that the Daily Stormer site is a vile hive of scum and villainy where the height of sophisticated humor is taking "JosephGoebbels" as your user name, we know you don't want your browser polluted by the direct link, so we brought you a sampling of their best in stupidity. It's hard to tell whether some comments are dyed-in-the-wool flat-earthers or whether they're just kidding in a Nazi kind of way, like this one from "whitemanshame," who explains:

“Fun fact, all the moon mission astronauts were Satanic Freemasons.”

Other net-Nazis seem quite earnest indeed, like “Excalibur,” who dares other readers to show him the curvature of the Earth:

"Here is a challenge for all the non believers, somebody give me a picture of the earth that is not CGI, just one."

Then there’s "Whiteliberty," who approaches the topic with LOGIC and FACTS:

"Science is the acquisition of knowledge capable of being reproduced. You can’t reproduce Big Bang. It’s not science. With flat earth, there are multiple lines of evidence that point in the same direction. Many globe claims have been power of suggestion, reliance on authority, and black box frauds. This guy seems to know a lot of science facts, like the Jews, who also run Google and NASA so they can put cloud cover over the North Pole to hide the hole that goes through the crust and the ice to the hollow earth where the aliens live.

Then there's "3rdRicht," who has been giving all this a lot of thought:

"I only started looking into what Flat Earth theories within the last month. 1 interesting point is at night, it is cooler in the Moonlight than it is in the shade."

Yeah, Makes ya wonder, don't it? Then theres "SouthernFascist", who isn't quite convinced, but he certainly is open-minded about the matter, because if you believe anything THEY tell you, you might be a dupe. How's this for an example of crank magnetism in action?

So there you go. Some examples of good ol' Nazi LOGIC. But, as “StormCommando” pointed out elsewhere, believing in a flat earth dishonors the Nazi rocket scientists, who surely would have talked about a flat, not a round, planet if there were anything to it. So you Flat Earthers don’t be dissin' the greatest Nazi scientists of all time!

No Sir! No Aidin' and Abettin' Up in Here!

The wagon-circling campaign to protect Obama administration and intelligence community officials who surveilled Donald Trump and his transition team during his presidential campaign and post-victory transition is moving into hyperdrive. On Monday, CNN's Don Lemon proclaimed that "there is no evidence whatsoever" supporting Donald Trump's claim about having been "spied on illegally" (note the inclusion of the word "illegally," which is crucial), and declared that he would not "aid and abet the people who are trying to misinform you."

Lemon's stridency as he delivered his rant on CNN appeared to betray "he protests too much" behavior, while subsequent events have further undermined his there's-nothing-there position. Try as they might, it seems that Lemon and his establishment press cohorts will have a hard time turning these and likely additional future bitter developments relating to Team Obama's election campaign and Trump transition conduct into lemonade.

The Slow Painful Death of the Truth

The general public truly lives in two separate worlds. We have the world of the mainstream media, popular culture and political rhetoric; a world which constantly and desperately seeks to twist or destroy any legitimate measure of reality, leading people into a frenzied fog. Then, we have the world of concrete facts; an ugly, brutal world that upsets many people when they see it and leaves them with little more than the hope that the most innovative of us will perhaps reverse the disastrous course, or at least, survive to carry on a meaningful level of civilization.

The sad thing is, if a majority of the population studied and accepted the world of fact, then preparation and intelligent or aggressive action might negate any destructive outcome. Reality only grows more ugly because we continue to ignore it. Have you ever come to a logical or practical conclusion in response to a national or global problem and waited in vain to hear it represented in the mainstream? Have you ever thought — if I can figure this out, why can’t they? And by “they,” I mean the people most commonly offered a mainstream platform.

This includes so called “professional journalists,” political leaders, mainstream economists, highly paid “analysts,” etc. Well, I think more and more Americans in particular are finally considering the notion that these “professionals” are either not very smart, or they have an agenda that seeks to perpetuate the problem rather than fix the problem. Yes, the intellectual class, the longtime gatekeepers of public thought and consent, are actually mostly morons and/or liars with a terrible purpose in mind. I understand that this does not come as a surprise to many of my readers, but remember, the masses are still trapped in a stupefying fog.

The Healthcare Bill Debacle: If you happen to take note of stock market reactions to legislative events, you may have observed that equities recently suffered a swift sidekick to the solar plexus (read the section on stocks below as to why this matters little). This is, according to the mainstream, due to the failure of the Trump administration’s Obamacare repeal efforts. The first assumption here is that stock markets exploded higher after Trump’s election win purely because the investment world was placing bets that Trump would ram through tax cuts and pro-business legislation within his first year. The second assumption is that because Trump’s first piece of major legislation, the repeal of Obamacare, has failed, he will not be able to achieve any of his other stated goals, including tax cuts.

Russian Hackers And Political Influence: This narrative just refuses to die, and the only point I can see to it so far is that it is a way for establishment elites to keep the political left constantly agitated. The left becomes more and more insane in their rhetoric and behavior exactly because the mainstream continues to perpetuate the rationale that Trump is “not really president.” Think about it — the left was already hurtling towards the madness of full-blown communism, but in order to reach a crescendo of schizophrenic violence, they need a little more psychological justification. If they can be convinced that Trump is now a “Russian agent,” they have all the justification they need to take their mob actions to the next level.

Clinton Corruption: Why are the Clintons still running around free? Why is no one talking about prosecution anymore? This question is for Trump, of course. Now, I predicted post election that Trump would indeed abandon all talk of Hillary Clinton going to prison almost immediately, but I would like to hear his argument as to why this should no longer be pursued.

Illegal Immigration: Why is enforcement of existing immigration laws, laws which have been a standard for decades, such a divisive issue? Most countries in the world have stringent immigration laws, why is it that America is not allowed to enforce similar laws? Why does the left in particular consider the removal of illegal immigrants representative of “racism” or “fascism?” I realize they are mostly insane, but I would just like to hear one valid and practical argument from them as to why the U.S. specifically should be saddled with wide open borders and why American conservatives in particular are racist merely for demanding that the current laws be followed? Why are we still arguing about this?

The Mainstream Media Is Dying: The bastion guardian of all that is “mainstream,” the arbiter of who is “fake news” and who is “real news,” is actually in rapid decline, but you will never hear them admit it publicly. Many alternative media outlets are crushing the readership and viewership numbers of many mainstream media publications and shows, but much of the public still clings to the faulty concept that there is a particular level of “professionalism” that goes into the production of these narrative peddlers. We have been brainwashed with stories of “journalistic integrity” that lead us to consider media a higher calling. This is, of course, pure garbage.

As was made fully evident this past election, there is absolutely no integrity whatsoever in the journalistic field. There are only people with agendas and people who whore themselves out for people with agendas. That’s it. AL Sharpton Wants Ivanka Trump Out of the WH

Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka apparently has an office in the West Wing and will act as a private citizen and consult the President on certain affairs. According to what I've read this is legal, ethical, and is not costing us a thing. Ivanka is not drawing a salary. But For some reason, Al Sharpton, who was Obama’s “go-to guy” on race relations and had unimpeded access to the White House seems to have a real problem with his room temperature level IQ understanding this.

“Giving a office on the West Wing of Ivanka Trump, somebody explain to me how you can give security clearance, access to classified material, and a office to somebody that don’t have a title or job? They say now she ain’t got no title. She ain’t got no role. We ain't payin' her no money. But she can see everything classified.” 

First off AL, the office is in the West Wing, not on it.  It's not a roof-top patio, it's an office. As for the security clearance, there are different levels of this. It's unlikely that Ivanka is allowed to see the most sensitive information, but she does need a certain level of clearance in order to consult the president. And I find it hilarious that Sharpton’s biggest problem is that Ivanka doesn't have a job. Sharpton is probably the richest, least employed person in the county, which is probably what he finds so confusing. He doesn't do anything without an extortion big bucks payday.

As ridiculous as this manufactured outrage is, at his heart, Sharpton is a race hustler and managed to insert some racism into this:

“If President Barack Obama had given his daughters or his mother-in-law an office and some access they would have run him and everybody else out the White House." 

This is just more proof that Sharpton doesn't understand how things work, like paying taxes or reading off of a teleprompter.

Small Business Trump Supporters Bullied Out of Business

According to my friends in Chicago, this may not be an isolated incident, ignored by the media as they turn a blind eye to their sympathetic Trump Hating allies in the streets.  And as we quickly approach what I believe will come to be known as 'The Summer of Hate', the left will again take to the streets with increased demonstrations and violence leftist has shown they are capable of.

Suzzanne Monk of Chicago was one of the 2 million Illinois residents who voted for Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election, and she says that choice is costing her her neighborhood business. In a letter to the editor that appeared Friday in Crain's Chicago Business, Monk, who owns Worlds of Music in North Center with her husband Alexander Duvel, wrote that she has been subjected to steady bullying since the couple's personal politics became public knowledge. 

"Chicago, you have always been a Democrat-run town, but this year you have become a one-party city terrorizing anyone not in your party for their beliefs.... We will close at the end of April, because we are no longer willing to subject our staff, our customers, our neighbors and ourselves to the daily risk.... We have to leave. In the end, it wasn't the high taxes, constant road construction or high crime. It wasn't the unchecked gang violence or political cronyism. In the end, we have to leave because of the hate you are willing to tolerate.... You have a Trump-sized chip on that big shoulder, and it has turned you into a city of fear, hate and division. A city that encourages political bullying." 

The couple are in the process of shifting Worlds of Music, which sells instruments from around the globe, to an online enterprise because as Monk said, "they can't put a brick through a website". She and Duvel have always worked hard to keep politics separate from their business ( for the record, she voted for Al Gore in 2000 and Hillary Clinton in the 2008 primary ) but were "outed" as Trump supporters after a debate Duvel had in the comments section of a Facebook post last year. The couple began receiving threatening emails along the lines of: We hope nobody fire bombs your business, that would be too bad.

The worst of it has been they've had loyal customers told not to support them or they would be ostracized. What disturbs Monk the most is that the very people who profess to promote tolerance, progressive liberals, are the same people who have been intimidating her and her husband, or are tacitly approving of the bullying by not condemning it.

Even In Bernie Sanders Backyard They're Saying "Oh Hell No!"

Looks like even in a bastion of American Socialism like Vermont, people are wakening up. In the sleepy town of Rutland Vt.,  Mayor Christopher Louras lost to City Councilor David Allaire.  A Six term Mayor,  Louras last spring announced his plan to bring up to 100 refugees annually from Syria and Iraq to the city of about 16,500 residents. The citizen's response: I don't Think So!

Councilor Allaire had criticized the way Louras rolled out the program, announcing it last April without getting input from the public and city officials. When he announced his candidacy, Allaire said the main issue was with the secrecy of the program. 

The city of Rutland was chosen as the site to place refugees by the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI), one of the nine major federally-funded refugee resettlement contractors or voluntary agencies.  According to Ann Corcoran of Refugee Resettlement Watch, once a site is chosen for resettlement, the agency submits an annual resettlement plan to the State Department in order to receive federal funding of nearly $2,000 per refugee sponsored in addition to federal grants of up to $2,200 per refugee sponsored.

Refugee resettlement has become a billion dollar industry, according to investigative journalist James Simpson, a former economist and budget examiner for the White House Office of Management and Budget.  The VRRP had not openly disclosed its proposed resettlement abstract to Rutland.  Such abstracts list the targeted town’s available facilities and amenities, such as subsidized housing, mental health facilities, and public schooling, for the refugees. Exposing the contents of the abstract prior to resettling or “seeding” refugees (a term coined by a resettlement agency) was a cause of great concern for the agency, as it would shake some sense into the citizens of Rutland and most likely prevent refugee resettlement.

One month after arrival, refugees are provided with taxpayer-funded services such as Medicaid, Supplemental Security Income, Social Security Disability Insurance, public housing assistance, child care, food stamps, and much more, costing billions of dollars a year.  However, after a couple of months, government funding runs out, and it becomes incumbent upon the community to take over and provide.  Given the rising number of Rutland’s low-income citizens in desperate need of assistance, city officials should be leading efforts to develop ways to take care of their own first, including war veterans, seniors, drug addicts, and the homeless.

Many refugees in the U.S. today are supported by lifetime cash assistance programs, while Americans are being pushed off time-limited welfare programs. According to Corcoran, refugees are treated as U.S. citizens in that they qualify for all federal, state, and local welfare programs after one month. This raises the refugee resettlement costs to billions of dollars a year.

Burning Jeff Session

News of AG Jeff Session's supposed illegal contacts with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak came from a New York Times story stating that officials under former President Barack Obama had sent information throughout government about potential Russian contact with Trump's associates and interference in the 2016 election. The officials did so in order to preserve the information after Obama left office.  

Two days before Trump's inauguration, the State Department sent Sen. Ben Cardin (D -MD.) the ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, a batch of documents related to Russian attempts to meddle in elections worldwide. Cardin spokesman Sean Bartlett told news media that the senator had received the classified documents on request and that they were shared with both Republican and Democratic committee staffers.

This Information remains classified.

I'm not buying any of this present Bullshit.  If there was known hacking of Hillary's emails believed to be the Russians (we all know they came from inside) then why was nothing leaked during the campaign on Trump if U.S. intelligence/FBI had compiled all this info the Russians were influencing election worldwide? Because Trump couldn't win.

I'm saying this is payback. You can argue Donald Trump's criticism of the Intel community was not such a wise thing to do or not, but with Barky remaining in D.C. and at the helm of a not so underground resistance movement, combined with a some segments of not so friendly intelligence community, (who know a little about disinformation) giving the Dems ammo for a witch hunt, anything is possible. Burning Jeff Sessions has their fingerprints all over it. And I think things are just warming up.   The swamp not only needs to be drained, but also salted.
