The City of Oakland California Creates “Department of Race and Equity”

Once again California proves that it in competition with 1960 Alabama for being the most racist, bigoted State in American history. The City Council of Oakland is “borrowing a bigot from Portland, Oregon to head up a city council version of the KKK—the “Department of Race and Equity.” The city has determined that government policy is to be based on race and bigotry, so it needs  Pay, job opportunities, housing, education—all to be based on race—sounds like Alabama in 1960—using government to promote racism and bigotry.

Earlier this year, Councilmember Desley Brooks proposed the creation of Oakland’s first department dedicated to achieving racial and social equity in the city. The department was approved during the June budget season with the end of the year targeted for its debut.”

The Oakland City Council Rules Committee on Thursday scheduled an agenda item for Nov. 3 to approve the three-month temporary hiring of Dante James, who has led Portland’s equity department since its inception in 2012.  

Bigotry pays well in 2015 in California—your taxes at work. James earns over $147,000 a year, according to the report, making him one of the highest paid employees in Portland city government.  

James, who's sister is former KPIX news anchor Dana King, would retain his position in Portland, said the report, but Oakland would assume James’ salary while he works to set up the new department, in addition, to advising the city on hiring its first director.

It is also no surprise Oakland city leaders are reaching out to Portland for guidance. Brooks often recognized the city, along with King County, Washington as inspiration for her proposal.

The 6-1 Western Kentucky Hilltoppers Visit The 6-0 LSU Tigers

I'm still not sure exactly what a Hilltopper is, but no less, Saturday night Mike the Tiger welcomes the Kentucky Hilltoppers to Baton Rouge. This game features one of the best passing offenses in the country with QB Brandon Doughty, who leads the nation in completion percentage, averaging 387 yards passing per game this season, against Leonard Fournette and one of the nations top rushing offenses. 

Doughty, said to be on his way to the NFL, is yet this year to face a pass rush like the Tigers, who spend as much time roaming the opponent's backfield as they do. Without a big threat from WKU's running game, it will be interesting to see if the Tigers pin their ears back and come hard to try and rattle  Doughty, and force mistakes. After manhandling the Florida offensive line and dropping the QB for 5 sacks last week, they will certainly be coming. It will also be a test of the sometime suspect Tiger secondary.  LSU is not taking this game lightly at all. WKU is Legit, and this should be a very good game, with the possibility of some big plays.

This Is The Week Things Start Getting  Interesting!

Tennessee (3-3) @ #8 Alabama (6-1) - The Volunteers visit Tuscaloosa in this years edition of one of the great rivalries of southern football. It even manifested this year in the form of an hilarious Alabama pranking of die-hard vol fans.

I initially looked at this as just another Alabama home field blow-out, but after seeing statistics from last weeks A&M game, they gave me a bit of a pause. Tennessee will be playing the spoiler and it's been a long dry spell since their last defeat of The Tide. The Vols are hungry. Both beat a good Georgia team.....but with my belief in the Tide's winning ways remaining strong, I have confidence Bama goes out front early and stays there......  
I say Bama by 14  ROLL TIDE!


#15 Texas A&M (5-1)  @  #24 Ole Miss (5-2) - The Aggies travel to Oxford to meet the Rebels (am I allowed to say Rebel?) after another embarrassing defeat at the hands of Alabama last week. This is a must win for both because of the major implication in the SEC west chase, and both must still face LSU. 

I'm going with A&M in this one for a couple of reasons (my growing dislike for Ole Missy has nothing to do with it.....really.....I promise.....really ☻). Turnovers aside, last week A&M's offense actually outscored Alabama's Offense, and the Aggie defense forced the Bama offense into 15 negative yardage plays. (??)

My conclusion is A&M is a better team then the score indicated. (The Tide has a talent for making a good team look bad, believe me, I KNOW THIS VERY WELL!) The Aggies play tough and will be too much for the Rebels.....

Officials Watch as Record Numbers of Illegals Cross US Border as Year Ends.

Fox 10- PINAL COUNTY, Ariz.: Officials are saying it is shaping up to be a disappointing end to the year that started with a major decline in illegal border crossings. Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu says they see an increase in drug and human smuggling daily.

According to recently released numbers, it shows the fiscal year of 2015 to be the second worst on record.

"Right now we're living in a country where there is no enforcement of immigration laws. So don't try and scratch your head and try to figure this out and wonder why our numbers doubled. In fact there should be no reason why the numbers shouldn't triple."

Agents caught nearly 4,500 children traveling without parents on the border last month, and about 5,300 parents and children traveling as families. Both of these are twice the amount since September of 2014. Babeu says more people are coming because it is easier than ever, and there are no consequences.

"They're all coming in as refugees, and then they're given papers, documents to report back in a month, or 60, 90 days, and it's already proven, past experience has shown that they're not showing up at all. Ninety-plus percent and in some cases much higher than that never appear."

Border Patrol officials in Washington have blamed violence and oppression in several Central-American countries on being the driving force bringing more unaccompanied children here. But agents on the ground say it is the failed catch and release policy.

Some Homeland Security Employees Have Been Paid to Stay Home for Over a Year

WAPO - A year after auditors documented tens of thousands of federal workers on paid leave for at least a month and longer stretches that exceed a year, close to 100 Department of Homeland Security employees still are being paid not to work for more than a year.

The large number persists even after the Obama administration urged agencies in June to curtail their reliance on what is known as administrative leave, the government’s go-to strategy for dealing with employees facing allegations of misconduct.

Now Sen. Charles E. Grassley (R-Iowa), who provided the numbers he received from DHS, is demanding answers from agency officials. In a letter to DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson Wednesday, he called the officials’ previous explanation for extended leave cases “too broad and vague to assess whether other actions might have been more appropriate.”

Grassley said the agency failed to explain how it was meeting federal guidelines to reserve paid leave for rare circumstances when an employee poses a physical threat in the workplace, or how sidelining employees for so long is consistent with numerous rulings by the comptroller general that federal workers should not be sidelined for long periods for any reason.

“DHS also failed to explain why such extended amounts of time were needed to conduct investigations into security issues, misconduct, or fitness for duty,” Grassley wrote.

DHS was one large agency cited by the Government Accountability Office in October 2014 in the first report on administrative leave. The audit, first made public by The Washington Post, found that 53,000 civilian employees were kept home for one to three months during the three fiscal years that ended in September 2013. About 4,000 of them were idled for three months to a year and several hundred for one to three years.

The tab for these workers exceeded $775 million in salary alone, auditors found. While employees stay home, they not only collect paychecks but also build their pensions, vacation and sick days and move up the federal pay scale.

This testimony is playing out like a trial where a republican asked questions and the a democrat cross-examines and defends her against all the previous questions. The strange thing about this, to me at least, is that the democrats don’t really do this in the form of questions but instead just kinda present evidence and ask somewhat rhetorical questions. Her replies to democrats, when not yes or no , seem very rehearsed.

It Really Makes You Wonder About These Government Guys Sometime........

The world’s most powerful spy, CIA chief John Brennan, was bested on Monday by a self-described “stoner” 13-year-old and an associate, who broke into his America Online email account and started posting some of its contents on Twitter.

At least some of Brennan’s private emails seemed to contain extremely sensitive information including his security clearance application and the social security numbers of several CIA officers.

The question is: what the hell was the the Director of the CIA doing using  AOL,  probably the most insecure email platform there is? DUH!

You can expect the 13-year-old prankster to get the hammer dropped on him though. As Electronic Frontier Foundation’s Nate Cardozo tweeted, the "CIA Director kept [secret and private] docs on AOL, that's until hacked by a 13 year old."

To add to the embarrassment, the nation’s top Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official Jeh Johnson had a private  COMCAST account possibly hacked by these same teenagers. Its worrying that these technologically clueless people are in charge of the nation’s cybersecurity infrastructure. The DHS has been singled out many times for its especially poor cybersecurity practices, despite the fact that they’re supposed to be the federal agency in charge of cybersecurity.

Like almost all hacks, Brennan’s started with something incredibly simple: social engineering. Motherboard’s Lorenzo Franceschi-Bicchierai reported that – if we are to believe the hackers – they tricked Verizon and AOL into giving up Brennan’s password by calling their customer service department.

Do you ever get the feeling we are being ruled by Moe Howard, the Keystone Cops, and the Marx Brothers on a drunken binge?

How Did Your Senator Vote on Sanctuary Cities?

Senate Democrats blocked legislation that would punish “sanctuary cities” in a 54-45 vote Monday.

The bill, called the Stop Sanctuary Policies and Protect Americans Act, needed to overcome a 60-vote threshold. It would withhold certain federal funding from states or cities that refuse to comply with requests from federal immigration officials to turn over immigrants who are in the country illegally.

The Vote:

Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) introduced the legislation, which includes a provision known as Kate’s Law, named after 32-year-old Kate Steinle, who was fatally shot in San Francisco on July 1. The bill would impose a mandatory minimum jail sentence of five years for illegal immigrants who are convicted of re-entering the United States after being convicted of an aggravated felony or have three strikes for trying to enter the country illegally.

“It’s maddening that the Democrats are encouraging sanctuary cities like New Orleans that refuse to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement and let dangerous criminal illegals free,” Vitter said in a statement after the bill failed. Vitter has been pushing to defund sanctuary cities since 2007, when he served as chairman of the Border Security Caucus.

We just got more evidence that the middle class in America is dying. According to brand new numbers that were just released by the Social Security Administration, 51 percent of all workers in the United States make less than $30,000 a year. Let that number sink in for a moment. You can’t support a middle class family in America today on just $2,500 a month – especially after taxes are taken out. And yet more than half of all workers in this country make less than that each month. In order to have a thriving middle class, you have got to have an economy that produces lots of middle class jobs, and that simply is not happening in America today.

You can find the report that the Social Security Administration just released right here. The following are some of the numbers that really stood out for me…

-38 percent of all American workers made less than $20,000 last year.

-51 percent of all American workers made less than $30,000 last year.

-62 percent of all American workers made less than $40,000 last year.

-71 percent of all American workers made less than $50,000 last year.

That first number is truly staggering. The federal poverty level for a family of five is $28,410, and yet almost 40 percent of all American workers do not even bring in $20,000 a year.

If you worked a full-time job at $10 an hour all year long with two weeks off, you would make approximately $20,000. This should tell you something about the quality of the jobs that our economy is producing at this point.

Many families have to fight tooth and nail just to make it from month to month, and there are lots of Americans that find themselves sinking deeper and deeper into debt.

If you can believe it, about a quarter of the country actually has a negative net worth right now.

What that means is that if you have no debt and you also have ten dollars in your pocket that gives you a greater net worth than about 25 percent of the entire country. With each passing day, more Americans are losing their spots in the middle class and this has pushed government dependence to an all-time high. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 49 percent of all Americans now live in a home that receives money from the government each month.

part in the state's Cap and Trade program to reduce emissions.

A solar power plant at the center of the Obama administration’s push to reduce America’s carbon footprint by using millions of taxpayer dollars to promote green energy has its own carbon pollution problem.

The Ivanpah plant in the Mojave Desert uses natural gas as a supplementary fuel. Data from the California Energy Commission show that the plant burned enough natural gas in 2014 – its first year of operation – to emit more than 46,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide.

That’s nearly twice the pollution threshold for power plants or factories in California to be required to participate in the state’s cap-and-trade program to reduce carbon emissions.

The same amount of natural gas burned at a conventional power plant would have produced enough electricity to meet the annual needs of 17,000 California homes – or roughly a quarter of the Ivanpah plant’s total electricity projection for 2014.

The plant, which was developed by Oakland-based BrightSource Energy, was approved in 2010 amid questions about its cost to taxpayers and the facility’s effect on the desert environment.

The U.S. Department of Energy granted Ivanpah $1.6 billion in loan guarantees. As a green-energy project, it also qualified for more than $600 million in federal tax credits.

Just before the project broke ground, President Barack Obama praised it in his weekly radio address:

"With projects like this one, and others across this country, we are staking our claim to continued leadership in the new global economy. And we’re putting Americans to work producing clean, home-grown American energy that will help lower our reliance on foreign oil and protect our planet for future generations."

And former Interior Secretary Ken Salazar freed up large expanses of public land for the plant despite environmentalists’ concerns about wildlife habitat and the loss of open space.

David Lamfrom, desert project manager of the National Parks Conservation Association, said information about the amount of natural gas used at Ivanpah shows that the plant is essentially a hybrid operation that requires both fossil fuel and sunshine to make electricity.

He said he doubts the project would have gone forward if it had been billed a hybrid plant.

“It feels like a bait and switch,” Lamfrom said. “This project was held up as a model of innovation. We didn’t sign up for greener energy. We signed up for green energy.”

Self Loathing Hate Group to Advise Obama Admin on Domestic Terrorism

There is no doubt that in America, there are many who are calling good evil and evil good. At the top of that list is the Southern Poverty Law Center. Now, the SPLC wants to identify what they call "haters" on their little hate list for radicals in our society to target, whether they are individuals or organizations. Now they are teaming up with the corrupt and criminal Obama administration in order to advise the domestic terrorists in our government on violent extremism, and at the top of their list are Christians and patriots.

While the SPLC targets individuals and organizations for speaking out against abortion, sodomy, Islam, the New Black Panthers calling them "haters," all these groups are simply doing is speaking the truth on a particular subject. That's called free speech, but apparently, the SPLC can't stand the truth and so they engage in slander against a variety of people.

Now, the SPLC will be teaming up with the Obama Department of (in)Justice, led by Constitution violating Loretta Lynch and seek to track and coordinate investigations into "domestic terrorism." 

This announcement was made on October 14 by Assistant Attorney General John Carlin at George Washington University. While Carlin did mention Islam on two occasions in the speech, his emphasis was on "anti-government animus, eco-radicalism, and racism."  

"The new DT Counsel will not only help ensure that DT cases are properly coordinated but also will play a key role in our headquarters-level efforts to identify trends to help shape our strategy, and to analyze legal gaps or enhancements required to ensure we can combat these threats."

Since when should the American people trust lying organizations like the SPLC to advise our government on anything? And, of course, Carlin is one who buys into the maligning and slander of the SPLC's Mark Potock's "hate groups."

Social media was set ablaze today when Middle Finger News Service premiered it's new Earl of Taint produced all nude Internet News Broadcast.

After the announcement last week that Hugh Hefner will no longer publish the traditional nude photos that made Playboy Magazine one of the most read publications in print history, the MFNS board stepped up to take the lead in unbiased Nude News presentation and fill the void for that audience.  

The viewers of MFN have overwhelming embraced the change and commendations and congratulation have been pouring in all day.
