Sometimes you really have to marvel at the stupidity of progressives and now is one of those times.

One of the main reasons Donald Trump is doing so well in the polls is because he’s saying what many Americans are thinking about illegal immigration and border security.

National Journal columnist Clare Foran worries that if a wall is built on the border, as Trump has suggested, people who try to cross into America illegally could be injured.

Her new column is truly stunning:

"Trump’s Border Wall Would be DANGEROUS for ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS" 

"Donald Trump wants America to build a permanent wall at the U.S.-Mexico border. “We’ll have a great wall. We’ll call it the Great Wall of Trump,” the real estate mogul told Fox Business recently.

If that ever happens, the consequences could be deadly for the hundreds of thousands of undocumented immigrants who attempt to cross the border each year, many of whom are unlikely to be deterred by even the greatest of walls. Tightening security at America’s southern border will inevitably make it more difficult to illegally traverse. But immigration and security experts warn that any effort to seal off the border will also make conditions more dangerous for the unauthorized immigrants who still try to make it over...."

So, to recap…

This liberal writer is more concerned about the safety of people entering America illegally than she is about our laws and national security.

You couldn’t make this stuff up.

Less then a weeks after a 9 year old girl was shot to death by a stray bullet while doing her homework, a Ferguson Municipal Judge has weaken the protection of law abiding citizens by loosening the courts ability to detain lawbreakers, and put thugs who prey back on the streets of the city in the name of fairness and healing.

The newest judge in the Ferguson Municipal Court withdrew all arrest warrants issued before Dec. 31, 2014, as part of a broad set of changes coming to the city. Just two months into his new post, Judge Donald McCullin also changed the conditions for pre-trial release of certain defendants to include payment plans, community service, or commuting fines for indigent persons. The brilliant Judge had this to say:

"These changes should continue the process of restoring confidence in the Court, alleviating fears of the consequences of appearing in Court, and giving many residents a fresh start.

“Many individuals whose license has been suspended will be able to obtain them and take advantage of the benefits of being able to drive. Moreover, defendants will not be disadvantaged in being afforded pre-trial release because of the inability to make bond.”

McCullin, 74, is a member of the Mound City Bar Association, a group that voiced criticism of police and government actions surrounding the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, last year and the ensuing violence, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. The Mound City Bar Association, which represents black lawyers, sued Ferguson in the wake of those events.

McCullin was appointed to his job after his predecessor stepped down following death threats to his family.

Yeah, that's the ticket! Let em' intimidate the court, run wild and flaunt the law.

Score one for the rabble rousers and thugs of Ferguson, and the emotionally stunted children of #blacklivesmatter with their IQ's rating just above room temperature.

Hillary vs. Judicial Watch

A strange, but predictable thing happened on the way to Hillary’s coronation. What happened that’s hurt Hillary most is that she reverted to Clinton form. She’s unlikable. She’s been secretive. She’s acted like the rules don’t apply to her. That’s before she pissed off the MSM with her petulant behavior.

In short, Clinton’s handlers let Madam Hillary be Madam Hillary.

She might’ve gotten away with it if she hadn’t been the most corrupt Secretary of State in US history, and because she didn’t want to deal with FOIA requests and set up the private email.  That was exceptionally stupid decision considering the fact that Judicial Watch’s mission is to hold people accountable. Judicial Watch isn’t a little mom and pop organization. They’re well-funded and they’re tenacious. They’re well-equipped to file one lawsuit after another, which is what they’ve done.

As a result of Hillary’s corruption and Judicial Watch’s tenacity, Hillary can’t afford to treat this like a coronation any more:

"Amid concerns about Mrs. Clinton’s softening poll numbers and her exclusive use of a personal email server as secretary of state, she will interrupt her Hamptons stay next week to travel to the Midwest and try to shift attention back to her campaign message by unveiling new policy positions

She will then return to the Hamptons, where she and former President Bill Clinton are renting a beach-side estate in Amagansett that costs $100,000 for a two-week stay, and will attend several $2,700-per-person fund-raisers hosted there by her wealthy friends."

While there’s no indication yet that Hillary won’t be the Democrats’ nominee, there’s more than enough information, mostly in the form of swing-state polls, that suggests she could very well get beat in the general election.

The basis for those swing-state polls is that she’s a) totally unlikable, b) untrustworthy and c) she doesn’t relate to the average person. That’s hitting the trifecta…if you want to lose. It’s understandable that Hillary’s campaign wants to take the attention away from the emails by switching to friendlier turf. Their problem is that she’s alienated the media and she’s insisted that she be treated like royalty.

That’s the perfect path to stopping a coronation.
