Attorney P.T. Barnum and More Mundane Drenched Conspiratorial Nonsense

The news cycle is short, but some stories are red meat for the self appointed cable channel ministers of truth and loathsome left-wing websites. It won't be about the much anticipated 'Blue Wave' that is beginning to look more like a Tidy Bowl Commercial than a revolution. And probably not even this morning’s major announcement that three prisoners are on their way home from North Korea.  No, it's likely a another greasy lawyer Michael Avenatti “bombshell” troll that some media are going to predictably lap up into a frenzy. The Stormy Daniels nutters will run with this because it’s what they do. The daytime Trump-Hate talk show lady's panties get wet, the late-night comedy writers light another marlboro and get down to work and Rachel Maddow's jockstrap bulges.  But by weeks end, this story will have gone nowhere and it’ll be on to the next piece of red meat. But until then.....

The New York Times puts forth some juicy details:
"A shell company that Michael D. Cohen used to pay hush money to a pornographic film actress received payments totaling more than $1 million from an American company linked to a Russian oligarch and several corporations with business before the Trump administration, according to documents and interviews…"
"Among the previously unreported transactions were payments last year of about $500,000 from Columbus Nova, an investment firm in New York whose biggest client is a company controlled by Viktor Vekselberg." Columbus Nova’s attorney Richard Owens stressed in a statement that the company is “solely owned and controlled by Americans” and said that, after Trump’s inauguration, the firm hired Cohen as a business consultant “regarding potential sources of capital and potential investments in real estate and other ventures,” but that it had nothing to do with Vekselberg"
So, a lawyer sets up a consulting firm to capitalize on his increased profile following the election and to cash in. (that's not against the law) Companies looking for information about how Trump operates paid him to consult on coming negotiations they’d be having with the administration. (that's not against the law) In regards to the Russian menace, this Mr. Vekselberg has been personally slapped with fresh sanctions since the election. How does that square with the conspiracy theory arising from this that he bought influence by being a client of a company Cohen consulted for? Answer: It doesn’t. It makes no sense at all.

So what’s the real story here??

Well, it’s the democrat's unofficial mascot and Avenatti’s meal ticket, Stormy Daniels of course. Avenatti’s newest claim will help keep the little greasy squirrel's face on CNN & MSNBC, and prompt round tables of speculation in the next 48 hours that this consulting money, paid to a completely different company, “may have” been used to reimburse the Stormy Daniels payment. Oh my! Stop the Presses! This is just the greasy Avenatti once again throwing nothingness against the wall while knowing that the media will run to lick it off like a litter of starved puppies.

She's Out To Annoy The Entire English Speaking World

Will She Ever Run Out of Places To Go and People to Annoy

It amazes me that this woman can still find anyone who is actually interested to hear what she has to say, but then here come the news that Hillary has loaded up the 'Grievance Tour Tent' and headed down under to bother the good people of New Zealand. May The Lord Have Mercy On Their Souls......

According to the New Zealand Herald, Clinton spoke to a group of about 3000 people in Auckland on Monday night about "North Korea", her wish she had "bit back after Donald Trump stalked me on stage during a debate" and "the strangest goings on we are living though" in the United States.
"Clinton rarely mentioned Trump by name but he was a constant presence in her discussion - and she did not spare her own country from a critique of concerning developments internationally."
"We're having a very important struggle in the United States right now. It's difficult to fully grasp because there are 20 stories and people are getting overwhelmed by the strange goings on we are living through.
New Zealand's success in bringing together people from different backgrounds and beliefs, having such a vital democracy as an example which we so desperately need in the world really means more in the 21st century than perhaps you even recognise....."
How, Oh how America could we have failed to elected such an Paragon of Humanity???

Clinton went on to tell the crowd she was appreciative of the offers to permanently move to New Zealand after the election loss. If I were you New Zealand, I'd find out who extended those invites and consider mental health evaluations and isolation from the rest of society. Y'all dodge a bullet almost as big as we did! With that I would be remiss to my readers down under if I failed to alert you to the fact SHE'S ON HER WAY TO AUSTRALIA NEXT!!!!

A Good Monday Morning

When Democrats Do It, It's Called Opposition Research

An article in the British leftist rag 'The Guardian' titled 'Revealed: Trump Team Hired Spy Firm for ‘Dirty Ops’ on Iran Arms Deal', a story supposedly authored through the Guardian's online mouth piece 'The Observer', makes the claim aides to Donald Trump hired an Israeli private intelligence agency to orchestrate a “dirty ops” campaign against key individuals from the Obama administration who helped negotiate the Iran Nuclear Deal. The piece goes on to say that according to "incendiary documents" shown the Observer by unnamed sources, of course, revealed investigators contracted by the private intelligence agency were told to dig into the personal lives and political careers of Obama's former deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes and Colin Kahl, a national security adviser to the former VP Joe Biden.

After quotes from pompous British diplomats railing about how "bloody outrageous" such activity is, the author of the piece tells us of the oh-so nefarious inquirers:
"Among things they were looking at were personal relationships, any involvement with Iran-friendly lobbyists, and if they had benefited personally or politically from the peace deal. Investigators were also apparently told to contact prominent Iranian Americans as well as pro-deal journalists – from the New York Times, MSNBC television, the Atlantic, Vox website and Haaretz, the Israeli newspaper among others – who had frequent contact with Rhodes and Kahl in an attempt to establish whether they had violated any protocols by sharing sensitive intelligence.
They are believed to have looked at comments made by Rhodes in which he admitted relying on "inexperienced reporters to create an “echo chamber” that helped sway public opinion" to secure the deal...."
The report go on to say it is not clear how much work was actually undertaken, for how long or what became of any material, if any at all was unearthed.  And whether it appears unseemly or not, in today's world it's pretty tame stuff. It's call gathering information or as the democrats call such  things, like the  Steele Dossier, "Opposition Research".

With all that is come to light about the secretive and underhanded actions of Barky O's administration, coupled with the revelation that for the second time in two months John Kerry met with Iranian foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif Khonsari to apparently strategise against the US government, makes this story if true, probably a necessary step in counter-intelligence. Or, it could just be another exaggerated deep state smear story planted with a foreign anti-Trump/anti- Israeli media source known for getting their limey pantaloons in a twist over most everything DJT.

Dershowitz: We’re Giving Up Our Civil Liberties to Get Trump

NKT - Harvard Law School professor Alan Dershowitz said that Americans are giving up their civil liberties so that Special Counsel Robert Mueller can bring charges against President Trump during an MSNBC interview today. Steve Kornacki asked Dershowitz to react to the news that federal prosecutors had tapped the phone of Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen. “I think we are moving closer and closer to the surveillance state, where phone calls are tapped, where emails are secured, without a real basis,” Dershowitz said. “We live in such a partisan atmosphere of ‘get Trump at any cost’ that we’re for getting Trump.”
_______________________________

It's very likely that Trump talked to Cohen without his legal "team" even knowing about it, and only the FBI knows what was discussed. Investigators along with the court will decide if the conversation was privileged.

After the left-wing websites jizzed all over themselves at the thought of potential proof of corruption, NBC News issued a correction:
"Michael Cohen's phones were being monitored by a pen register, not a wiretap, senior U.S. officials say. Pen registers capture "to and from" calling and texting information, but not content."

One Fabulous Protest Awaits Trump's Arrival In The U.K.

Having grown up in Europe I can tell you the only thing more annoying than your average British girl, are British Drag Queens. When Donald Trump visits the UK later this summer he will be met in London by throngs of ugly men in dresses & make-up preening and sashaying around in protest of his mythical anti-gay policies. What these drag queens hope to achieve is anyone’s guess. They may be still a tad mad about the Revolutionary War thing, or maybe that War of 1812 epic beatdown they got at the Battle of New Orleans.  But I suspect their anger is really sequin related.

In a Facebook event organized by a queen named 'Cheddar Gorgeous' - cleverly titled “Drag Protest Against Trump UK Visit” and set for Trump’s July visit, put out the call:
"Calling all drag kings, queens, queers and our allies to march against President Donald Trumps UK visit. Due to the appalling way the Trump administration has regarded the rights and welfare of LGBTQI communities of the US, the idea of a Trump visit to the UK is unacceptable. Let's get visible, stand with our sister's, brothers and others in America, and show that we are a country that celebrates diversity."
Yeah, we hear a lot about how well that British Death March into diversity is working out.

Cheddar Gorgeous tells us in a column in the leftist rag The Guardian why he/she they are so furious at our President:
"The actions of the US president have been decidedly unfriendly to LGBTQI people, people of colour, migrants and women have also been the subject of controversial policies, offensive remarks and ill-thought-out tweets. It feels as if the Trump administration seeks to use diversity as the scapegoat on which America is apparently made great again … and, to top it off, he failed to recognize pride month."
He failed to recognize pride month? *gasp* Finally we get to the bottom of this drag queen anger. Trump didn’t recognize National Doughnut Day or Talk Like A Pirate Day either, but that doesn’t mean he’s anti-bear claw or a Piratephobe. He’s the President of the most powerful country in the world and maybe he has bigger issues to deal with than giving a nod to unimportant crap. And just For the record, Donald Trump is the first US President to enter office as a supporter of gay marriage. Bill Clinton was against it and even signed a bill banning it. Barack Obama was against it until his second term, when he decided it was safe to support. But we all know know when it comes to Trump, lefties really hate those pesky facts.
