It was only a matter of time until the war on Confederate statues metastasized to culture and the first target it seems is “Gone With the Wind”, considered one of the greatest American movies ever made and currently #4 on the American Film Institute’s Top 100 movies of all time. 

The Orpheum Theater in Memphis Tenn. have started the ball rolling by deciding to drop the classic 1939 movie set in the plantation era South, with a backdrop of the Civil War, from its annual Summer Movie Series due to negative feedback following the films last showing earlier this month.

“As an organization whose stated mission is to ‘entertain, educate and enlighten the communities it serves’, the Orpheum cannot show a film that is insensitive to a large segment of its local population,” the theater’s operators said in a statement. The historic theater in Downtown Memphis has shown the movie for decades, but this year’s event “generated numerous comments,” leading to the decision." - WREG.com Memphis

By deeming a classic like “Gone With the Wind” which won Eight Academy Awards to be so offensive that it is effectively being censored will only embolden the cultural jihadists to go after other films. Can we say Cowboys and Indians??

The film has been attack before as I wrote in this post from 2015 about flap-jawed flunkey actors turned film critics are like annoying barking dogs or someone who stands next to you in a art museum and insistently explains the meaning of a painting, who at the time were then starting to criticize the film.

But anyone who's ever read Margaret Mitchell's book "Gone With the Wind" will recognize immediately this is not a story about the civil war, but a fictional story set during the time of the civil war.  And I guess the present day PC crowd have forgotten, even though written by a southerner, some northern liberal film critics of the time lauded the film as a sort of elitist glove slap at a lost cause and backward Southern culture, and the film did not initially play well in the South. 

But now, the left deems it insensitive. Go figure.....

Democrats Do Love Them Some Hate and Bigotry

For one hundred years after the Civil War the democrats remained the party of  bigotry. They terrorized whole parts of the country, and fought every attempt at passing civil rights legislation, all the way up until the 1960's.

And now, after years of putting forth phony, wasteful, unrealistic programs in the guise of compassion, in many ways just re-enslaved large segments of the blacks population with government dependency, all for their purpose of a vote. They managed to convince  two whole generations through the education system and media that they, and only they,  held the moral high ground in America. Time has shown otherwise. They have only offered limp wristed acknowledgement of their sins on America.

And now, as democrats play footsie with Antifa under the table and gently touch hands behind their backs, refusing to denounce their violence and anti constitutional ideals even as another violent hate filled, anti-white and anti-law enforcement Black Nationalist group lines up with their fascist minions.

Like Black Nationalist, the democrats believed the election of Barack Obama ushered in a new age of minority dominated rule. It was now theirs. But their dream is shattered and the democrats are slowly turning towards openly aligning themselves with hate once again.

Case in point, this from a  piece at todays Daily Caller:

"An armed Antifa group is launching a new cell in Philadelphia, with support from the “alt-left” alternative media. The group currently hosts anti-police workshops called “Our Enemies in Blue.” The group draws inspiration from convicted murderers and calls for violence against the police, theft of goods, and armed insurrection. Antifa websites like It’s Going Down, Sub.Media and Insurrection News have been promoting the group, which calls itself the Revolutionary Abolitionist Movement."

Taking pride in the “legacy” of “Philadelphia’s rich revolutionary tradition,” RAM cites Mumia Abu Jamal, the Black Panther activist who shot and killed Philadelphia police officer Daniel Faulkner in 1981. It also cites Russell Shoats, who shot a police officer in the back five times in 1970. Similar to Antifa, the actions of the Black Panthers have been described as having a “very undefined purpose of assaulting police officers.”

The group calls on members to “expropriate” or “take away” goods, lands, and tools to “begin the revolutionary process.” Expropriation is another way of saying “seize” or “steal.” 

Despite active calls for violence against law enforcement and revolution against the government, the liberal media has been surprisingly lenient in its coverage of Antifa, depicting them as righteous crusaders against the rise of white supremacy."

The left will soon discover that they don’t really like the type of mass surveillance and police state powers of the government now that Barack Obama is no longer in office. As long as it was Obama, the vast majority of the left, democrats and the media defended Barry’s transformation of the NSA into his own personal Stasi. There were plenty of opportunities to reign in the surveillance machine during Obama’s eight-year reign of criminality.  Now they are about to be hoisted upon their own petards.......

Barring appeals, this could be a direct strike to the head of the Soros Octopus and the leftist groups like ANTIFA that are trying to incite violence and maybe even a civil war.

The group that the DOJ is seeking information on is called #DisruptJ20 and was the tip of the spear for efforts that never came completely together to stage a domestic version of the color revolutions that typically have taken place in Eastern Europe. Soros-backed front groups and armies of activists played a key part in these types of overthrows of legitimate governments and some have suspected that the same playbook is being used here to remove Trump from power.

Today’s decision could be a sign that the Justice Department is looking for information on where the funding is coming from for the ongoing anti-Trump protests that continue to grow more angry and violent by the day while many in the media have become vocal apologists for ANTIFA."

America On Trial.

Now that patriotism is as out of step with the times as shag carpet and wood paneling, it is deemed hateful, arrogant, racist, xenophobic and oh so many other unsavory things.

America is on trial.

Will the next statue to fall, metaphorically if not literally, be that of Lady Liberty herself? A lynch mob gathers at her feet to punish her for her sins, past and present, real and imagined. This mob is not, as one might suppose, led by the likes of Vladimir Putin or Kim Jong Un. Nor is it led by ISIS and the Ayatollah. Rather, this mob consists of home-grown groups with names like Black Lives Matter, Antifa, or those who fall under the broad banner of “Alt-Right.” Fringe elements all, these groups see themselves as social justice personified, but are, in fact, the embodiment of anarchy, violence, and the politics of hateful reaction. Coach Elated Malia Obama Enrolled at Harvard

Middle Finger Sports - In a preseason Ivy League roundup interview with MFN Sports, the coaching staff of Harvard Football said they are excited to see one particular freshman come to campus this year, Malia Obama.

The Harvard Crimson Head coach told us: "When we look at this young woman, who obviously takes after her mother rather then her father, we see in the coming year or two a 6ft. something, 190lb+ linebacker in the making. Just look a her mother, she's built like a Chicago Bears lineman!  We don't get guys built like her at Harvard.  So we're really hoping after Ms. Obama starts bulking up to her mother's size she will consider trying out for the team as a walk-on. Combine her fathers athletic prowess and deceiving moves with her mother's build, we're talkin' some real potential right there babe!"

"As we see it, with that kinda size and looks, and if she has even a  fraction of her mother's angry black women in her, she'll scare the hell out of those Yale and Princeton white boys! And for Gawd sakes man, this is Harvard football, we need all the help can get!"

When we asked if he had any qualms of putting a female on a varsity football team he said: "You're kidding right? We're talking Ivy League football here! Our only concern as of now is maybe special equipment, like boobstical protection, and maybe a custom helmet. We're not sure if she has her father's ears or not." 

First Photos of The Trump White House Renovations.

The media was given a tour of the White House this week to view the newly renovated portions of the people’s house. Here are a couple of the released pictures. 

Gone from the Oval Office is the truly horrendous two tone yellow striped wallpaper of the Obama years resembling a whorehouse set from a black exploitation movie of the 1970's. The office is now tasteful done in soft creams, golds and browns, and once again the beautiful striped wood floors are visible. The office is complete with the returned bust of Winston Churchill, and all the flags of the US Military Services. New furniture has replaced the old, rumored to have been taken out back and burned for public health reasons.

The Roosevelt Room, which witnessed so many of Twentieth Century America's most historic discussions and important decisions were made has been restored to it's previous glory, no longer the drab meeting room it became.

The Third floor apartment residence of the former President's mother in-law, Marion Robinson, has been boarded up and sealed off. There's no word whether or not Mom's Robinson ever left the White House.....
