Liberals Try To Connect With Normal Americans. It Goes Poorly

Key Democrats met secretly to confer about the party’s future as America approached the one-year anniversary of their stunning and hilarious humiliation by Donald Trump. The key question they sought to answer: “How can we Democrats appeal to those Jesus-loving, racist idiots who hate science and don’t live on the coast like everyone we know?”
Sen Chuck Schumer opened the discussion: 

"We’re here to freely exchange ideas in an atmosphere of openness and unlimited inquiry. With that in mind, your program has a list of the things you can’t say, like ‘illegal alien’ and ‘Christmas.’ It also has a handy cheat sheet of everyone’s preferred pronouns. Mine are ‘he’ and ‘him,’ while Senator Menendez’s are ‘convict’ and ‘Number 675973.’ Also, be sure to observe the rule about not mansplaining, which should not be a problem with this group.”

He then turned it over to 105 year-old Nancy Pelosi, who asked, “Where am I?” After Schumer whispered in her ear, she began:

 “With the economy booming, the stock market setting records, and America defeating ISIS, things have never been worse. That’s why we need to keep The Resistance going, because it’s been a huge success so far in my district in San Francisco and, I’m sure, in your districts in Manhattan, Chicago, and Havana. And we need to expand our party, which means we need to convince dirty, stupid, transphobic normal Americans to come to grips with their own failings and join us.”

“We could tell them they’re stupid even more often,” suggested Al Franken.

“And racist,” suggested Maxine Waters.

“Also, Islamophobic,” said Keith Ellison.

“In my state, I can go potty with girls!” said California’s Gavin Newsom. 

“Clearly, there’s something wrong with these people, so we need to consult with someone with a genuine connection with normal Americans. Sadly, Hillary Clinton isn’t here to help us. If anyone connects with Middle America, it’s her. Unfortunately, she’s fallen and she can’t get up.”

Pelosi then made the “drinky drinky” gesture, and the crowd nodded. 

 “Now look,” Schumer said, frustrated. “We have to defend 22 Senate seats next year, many in red states. How the hell are we going to do that?” 

“Move left,” said Bernie Sanders. 

“I know!” came a shrill, grating voice from the back of the room. Hillary Clinton entered with a bandage around her head and limping from the broken toe she got when she “slipped” while wearing her trademark high heels. She took the mic and the room fell still.

“We can start treating normal Americans with respect. We can honor them for their hard work, patriotism, and devotion to family. We can stop insulting their religious beliefs and trying to shove our urban blue state values down their throats. When criminals murder fellow citizens, we can choose not to blame law-abiding gun owners, and instead of calling them ‘racists’ for voting for Trump, talk to them and learn why they felt he was offering them more than the Democratic Party.”

The room was silent, and the crowd sat staring with jaws slack. 

“And…and…,” she said, then steadied herself on the podium, looking around confused.  

“Are you all right, Madame Should-Be-President?” asked Schumer, handing her a goblet of Chardonnay. She drank it in one gulp. “I don’t understand…what happened?” she asked. 

 “You were just mumbling random words, crazy talk,” Schumer said. “It didn’t make any sense at all.”

She is Just Maxine Waters in a Cowboy Hat

Now that blockbuster revelations have emerged that the Obama regime knew about a huge bribery scam over that Russian uranium deal that went down when Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State and covered it up, it is time for the media to launch another weapon of mass distraction.  That Sgt. Johnson and his grieving spouse have become pawns in the left’s war on Trump is a testament as to just how vile and embittered that the Democrats have become after their putrid excuse for a candidate lost the election.

Democrats wasted no time in joining with the media to launch yet another smear campaign and of course, a member of the racist Congressional Black Caucus is behind it, Florida Congresswoman Frederica Wilson. Here is a post we did in 2010 "Just When You Thought They Couldn't Get Any Crazier....Along Comes Frederica" when she was first elected.   

Wilson has recently been in the media cheering for Trump’s impeachment and is at the head of the lynch mob for this one and was in the car with the family when Trump allegedly made his “disrespectful remarks” to the widow. With the President saying one thing and the media saying the opposite, it's pretty clear this is a diversion from more damaging stories of  massive Political Corruption on the left.

The REAL Russian Colluders

The Hill this morning posted an article that appears to uncover hard evidence that Bill and Hillary Clinton engaged in a veritable racketeering scheme with the Russians so as to line their own pockets. The piece centers on what happened before then-President Barack “approved a controversial deal in 2010 giving Moscow control of a large swath of American uranium.” Apparently, FBI agents obtained “substantial evidence that Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering designed to grow Vladimir Putin’s atomic energy business inside the United States.” 

"Federal agents used a confidential U.S. witness working inside the Russian nuclear industry to gather extensive financial records, make secret recordings and intercept emails as early as 2009 that showed Moscow had compromised an American uranium trucking firm with bribes and kickbacks in violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, FBI and court documents show. They also obtained an eyewitness account — backed by documents — indicating Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton’s charitable foundation during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided a favorable decision to Moscow, sources told The Hill....."  

"The racketeering scheme was conducted “with the consent of higher level officials” in Russia who “shared the proceeds” from the kickbacks, one agent declared in an affidavit years later........"

What’s interesting is all this seems to prove Donald Trump was right to hammer Hillary on the campaign trail about her dealings with Russia, yet leftist media tried to refute his claims, saying he lied or distorted the truth.

Satanic Drag Queens and The Michelle Obama Neighborhood Library

While most Americans are busy working and providing for their family, progressives have full-on invaded one the last sanctuaries of reprieve, childhood development. The race is on in many communities to prove just how “progressive” they are when it comes to being inclusive....and what’s more all-inclusive that a Satanic-looking drag queen reading to children? Fittingly, in the Michelle Obama Public Library, located in Long Beach, California, a demonic drag queen with giant horns protruding from his head was tapped to read to children.

The Long Beach PUBLIC Library touted the event on social media and on its calendar of events. But, when the story drew national attention, Facebook and Twitter posts were both scrubbed. The library explained in a Facebook post Monday that the city of Long Beach deleted the earlier post because it “received several hateful and harmful comments to the LGBTQ community and was no longer a productive conversation. The Long Beach Public Library will continue to host events that celebrate the rich diversity of our City and all its residents,” the statement defiantly concluded.

At Least She Didn't Blame It On The Russians......Well Not Yet.

DT - Big news out of London: Hillary Clinton fell down and broke her toe. Actually, that’s not big news because Hillary falls down all the time, whether it be fainting spells or getting taken out by an errant golf ball.  The actual interesting thing about this is how completely full of shit she is in explaining how she broke her toe. She may not be running for anything anymore, but she still has the Clinton Lie Machine cranked up to 11.

Now here’s how it happened according to Hillary:

“I was running down the stairs in heels with a cup of coffee in hand, I was talking over my shoulder and my heel caught and I fell backwards."

We seem to have some physics problems here from the woman who claims Republicans don’t believe in science. If her heel caught, that would propel her forward, not backwards. If she had slipped and her feet came out from underneath her, that would cause her to go backwards, but that ain’t what she said.

Next, we have some anatomy problems, again from the woman who takes the science-believing moral high-ground any chance she gets. Toes are on the front of the foot, not the back. If she somehow managed to defy physics by falling backwards after catching her heel, her toes wouldn’t have come in contact with anything. How did she manage to bust a toe with this unlikely scenario?

The answer is because she is such a lying sack of crap she feels the need to lie about something as unimportant as this. She literally can’t turn it off. That’s how being a compulsive liar works. And to prove this explanation isn’t all that truthful, she used it to score some political points:

“I tried to get up and it really hurt. I’ve broken my toe. I’ve received excellent care from your excellent health service." 

See what she did there? She gave a shout-out to Britain’s socialized medicine system as way to attack the health care system in the United States, which she is partially responsible for BTW.  Of course she didn’t mention that as a rich and famous person she received special treatment while the average person in England would have to wait to get the same treatment. What she should have said was that the health service was excellent for the privileged few like her.

"How Many Fingers Am I Holding Up, Winston?"

If your job is "head of diversity," you don't have to design computers or software or anything like that. But you can fail at your job, and you would do that by acknowledging that there's any concept of diversity apart from what the cultural orthodoxy says. Denise Young Smith has this job at Apple, and apparently she engages in a little too much independent thought because one day she got a little tired of the idea that diversity can't be about anything but racial and sexual identity. So she said so, and that's where her trouble started:

"There can be 12 white, blue-eyed, blonde men in a room and they're going to be diverse too because they're going to bring a different life experience and life perspective to the conversation. Diversity is the human experience. I get a little bit frustrated when diversity or the term diversity is tagged to the people of color, or the women, or the LGBT."

If the quote sounds entirely unobjectionable to you, that's because it is. Diversity of thought and experience are much more meaningful than diversity of skin pigmentation or sexual proclivity, particularly when you consider that the former categories are much more likely to impact how a person does his or her job than the latter. Young Smith clearly got frustrated by the realization that "diversity" never seems to deal with anything but identity politics, and expressed out loud her wish that people would think more broadly about what it really means and what it can be.

That, unsurprisingly, turned out to be a Thought Crime.

TechCrunch reported on Friday that Young Smith sent an email to her team at Apple earlier that day in which she apologized for her comments at the conference:

"Last week, while attending a summit in Bogota, I made some comments as part of a conversation on the many factors that contribute to diversity and inclusion. I regret the choice of words I used to make this point. I understand why some people took offense. My comments were not representative of how I think about diversity or how Apple sees it. For that, I'm sorry."

The word "diversity" is like many words the left bastardizes. It's not really about diversity at all. Denise Young Smith got out of line and thought for herself, and got it in her head that maybe diversity could be something more valuable and meaningful than the political left wants it to be. And for that, she got smacked down and thoroughly chastened. Fall into line, or else.

Today's "culture of diversity" offers no option but to fall in line. When you're a champion of diversity, there is only one acceptable way to think. Think about that.
