The Oscars Academy Is considering going forward with No Host at All. That's probably because of the #WokeStasi political purges, and no one in their right mind would put himself through the Struggle Session Gauntlet of going on TV and and pretending to enjoy themselves, telling terrible jokes and knowing there's someone just waiting to pounce on a wrong word.

This will be a spectacular televised demonstration of The Great Disappearing, because they #Purged the last one and no further volunteers for the bloody altar of Political Correctness are volunteering.

And we'd have an Oscars with no audience and no host. 

Kevin Hart's abrupt departure as Oscars host has left the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences scrambling to find someone to take the gig. As of now, the situation remains fluid as the group's leadership explores options, including going host-less. 

The Academy is now said to be gun shy about going with someone anyone who might be too edgy..." 

Another option being tossed around is not having any host at all, but rather "a bunch of huge celebs, something 'SNL' style, and buzzy people" to keep the show moving..."

San Fran Nan Goes Drag Racing

The ever-blurring lines between politics and pop culture grow fuzzier, but so much more fabulous! Nancy Pelosi, who represents California's 12 district that includes all of San Francisco paid a visit this week to famous Drag Queen RuPaul's Drag Race All Star TV show. It's safe to say Nan has found her way around a few drag queens or two in her day.

Pelosi stopped by the extravaganza of bad wigs and clownish makeup drag queen contest to show her solidarity with the LGBTQ community because Donald Trump be all hating on Gay people and stuff for not making North Carolina allow guys dressed up like Bette Midler in the girls restroom or forcing Colorado bakers to make gay cakes.

After the filming of the show Nan told an interviewer she was so excited and couldn’t resist being on the show and that she believes politicians could learn authenticity from drag queens. "This idea of people believing in themselves, being themselves, taking pride in themselves, is not just a lesson for politicians but for everyone in the country." I guess the crazy moonbat had one of her famous brain farts and just didn't realize that authenticity she was talking about is MEN PRETENDING TO BE WOMEN. Earth to Nancy!

Some parents take second jobs, third mortgages and sacrifice everything to send their kids to Ivy League schools like Harvard, one of the top academic and priciest schools in the country, to prepare them for the real world as leaders in business, medicine and law. And those parents should be comforted to know that in this competitive information age, Harvard is on the cutting edge and they're preparing their young people for the job market by helping them master the proper way to stick things up their butts. 

Yes, Harvard University is in the midst of 'Sex Week', complete with workshops introducing students to anal beads and butt plugs, and instructing them on proper techniques. The event is hosted by 'Natasha' of the  adult shop "Good Vibrations", who  discusses  the value of ‘practice, practice, practice’, and a primer on the importance of using medical-grade butt plugs. It was one of many workshops held at the Ivy League university.  Around 50 students attended. And how prestigious is it to be taught by someone who simply goes by “Natasha?” 

Remember when you were young and your mom told you not to put things in your mouth or up your nose? There was good reason. In fact it’s even more important not to shove things in your ass, your mom just never thought that was a lesson you needed to learn.

Satanic Drag Queens and The Michelle Obama Neighborhood Library

While most Americans are busy working and providing for their family, progressives have full-on invaded one the last sanctuaries of reprieve, childhood development. The race is on in many communities to prove just how “progressive” they are when it comes to being inclusive....and what’s more all-inclusive that a Satanic-looking drag queen reading to children? Fittingly, in the Michelle Obama Public Library, located in Long Beach, California, a demonic drag queen with giant horns protruding from his head was tapped to read to children.

The Long Beach PUBLIC Library touted the event on social media and on its calendar of events. But, when the story drew national attention, Facebook and Twitter posts were both scrubbed. The library explained in a Facebook post Monday that the city of Long Beach deleted the earlier post because it “received several hateful and harmful comments to the LGBTQ community and was no longer a productive conversation. The Long Beach Public Library will continue to host events that celebrate the rich diversity of our City and all its residents,” the statement defiantly concluded.

OBITUARY: THE SAD PASSING OF COMMON SENSE

This post is from the DMF archive of early 2012, it's words a bit dated now. But in light of news of the present days, is a clear illustration of how far we have "Progressed" since the death of our old friend. How old scabs have been pick at as well as all new wounds inflicted on America in the last eight years.

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for what seems forever. No one really knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered for his integrity. For cultivating such valuable lessons as knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, life isn't always fair, don't take what doesn't belong to you, and maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you earn) and reliable parenting (adults, not children, are in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when so-called well-intentioned, but overbearing, regulations were set in place. Reports of a six-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for sneaking a kiss from classmate, teenagers suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job they had themselves failed to do in disciplining their disrespectful and unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer paracetamol, sun lotion or an aspirin to a pupil, but could not inform the parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense began to lose the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband, churches became labeled as hateful and objects of vehement criticism for teaching morality, and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when some courts ruled you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home, but the burglar could sue you for assault because you protected yourself and your own.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. 

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust, his wife, Discretion, his daughter, Responsibility and his son, Reason. He is survived by three estranged stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else is to Blame, and I'm A Victim.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized that he was gone.

With the election of Barky Obama, minorities in America came to falsely believe they were finally running things in America. With the election of Donald Trump, they now believe America has taken a step back into the 19th century. Denial of free speech to anyone who disagrees with them somehow seems right. But as we have seen, as more minorities combine into a majority, they themselves are taking on the the very cloak and mindset of oppression.

America, and all it stands for is under attack by the least oppressed people in the world. Whites are being taught to be self loathing and join with people who can only identify themselves by their sexual orientation, ethnicity or skin color. Feeling over Freedom and the Law. Classic Western Liberalism that has freed Millions is under attack. Modern Progressivism is on the verge of becoming Regressive-ism. Case in point:

What should matter more, argued Juniperangelica Xiomara Cordova-Goff, a student senator at UC Berkeley, are the feelings of so-called marginalized students. (by marginalized he she means non-whites)

"I am over the debate on this campus between UC Berkeley conservatives and those on the left who still have energy to argue. Free speech has always been a tactic used by the state to grant the illusion that all voices in this nation are valued, yet there is a reason why Black female senators are discredited and why there is a white supremacist in the Oval Office. Somewhere in all our political discourse, we lost the point. We forgot that the people, the victims, the survivors of state violence we casually discuss are people living the experiences we have the privilege of discussing from a theoretical, omniscient perspective."

Taking a Stand in the Debate Over Illegal Immigration

According to the Sacramento Bee, the City Council of the celebrity enclave  of Malibu California voted 3-2 earlier this month to approve a resolution prohibiting use of city resources to enforce federal civil immigration law, thus joined the ranks of sanctuary cities.

Councilwoman Councilperson Laura Rosenthal introduced the resolution after Malibu resident, actor and former President Martin Sheen, appeared before the council in December to urge a sanctuary designation. Rosenthal told the Los Angeles Times: 

"When I reached out to some of the people at the schools and other people in the community, they told me people are scared. To the influx of immigrants coming into Malibu who may be undocumented, I wanted to send a clear message that we are here for you."

Malibu is home to wealth movie moguls and rock stars from Bob Dylan to Steven Spielberg and Barbara Streisand, who interestingly just so happened recently got their panties in a wad over access to the beach in front of their homes by the unwashed commoners. 

So you can't imagine my surprise when Diogenes recently received an email from Barbara Streisand (obviously by mistake) and addressed to someone named Arthur Sulzberger, who must run a website or something that famous people write Op-eds and pretend to know a lot about everything. After I read the unpublished post embedded in the email, I couldn't resist sharing it with my readers.

Why I'm Against Immigration Reform

I have this employee in my housekeeping department we'll call "J". We'll call her that because most Hispanic people have a name starting with the letter J and I strictly forbid my employees from learning the names of each other because name-knowledge promotes needless chit-chat. It would be hypocritical of me not to abide by the same instructions I demand my staff follow, therefore I have no clue as to J's real name.

While reviewing security footage one night with my husband.....what's his name.... I noticed that everyone really seemed to like J. They smiled at her, waved at her, and often made physical contact,  which I'm told expresses admiration, support, or just general kindness. The traditions of the everyday little people are simply fascinating!

Coincidentally, J passed me in the hallway the other day. While she was careful to observe the two-foot rule, she did not abide by Chapter 25, Paragraph 15 of the, "Streisand Household Handbook for Successful Dealings with Ms. Streisand," which states, "On rare occasions in which you are lucky enough to come within earshot of Ms. Streisand, you are to refrain from making a single sound with any part of your body, orifice or otherwise, or article of clothing. Violation of this rule could result in termination, and replacement." She dare muttered "Excuse me!"

People seem to enjoy enjoy the company of J even though she has no musical ability. How in the world does she pull that off? Babs no comprendo.

I asked husband about it and he said that a lot of people enjoy engaging in conversation for recreational purposes. Apparently speaking with others is cathartic for some. But she doesn't speak with people because she’s asking for political favors or election donations. She's not admonishing underlings for inappropriate eye-contact, because 13% of the kitchen floor tiles contain unacceptable levels of grime, or because she found a Cheerio underneath the refrigerator and is demanding to know who's responsible. So apparently J is the Barbra Streisand of talking to people. Like I am great at singing, she is great at conversing. I'm told those who excel at conversation often have many friends.

The reason I became an Academy Award winning superstar singer/actor/director triple threat is so I could talk to other Academy Award winning living legends. If I wanted to talk to maids, I would have taken up house cleaning.  Conversations with the help are a waste of my time and a waste of their time. And I'm paying them while they're at my residence.  Plus, it's always awkward because I can't understand a word they say.  Besides, people don't get paid to talk to Barbra Streisand; people pay to talk to Barbra Streisand.  

So why do I care so much about a meaningless staffer that I may have already fired but don't remember? Why do I care so much about a lady that I may eventually have deported because her extra-dark arm hair really grosses me out? Why do I care so much about a woman who may one day accuse me of devouring an entire box of Twinkies because I desperately want to keep a late night binge session secret?

Well, the truth is, I don't. But Babs needs a supply of readily available inexpensive fence jumpers for replacements and full staffing. That's why I'm against Immigration reform!

Brooklyn Public Library Hosts Drag Queen Story Time 

Extravagant dresses, perfectly coiffured wigs, and whole lot of personality is all part of the show. No, it’s not a drag show with adults and booze at a bar, it’s Drag Queen Story Hour at the local library with curious children and their parents. They are reading all of the classics and fairy tales to the kids, giving them lessons in good, evil, and morality. 

But seriously people,  are we so obsessed with sex that we need to turn a toddler story time at the public library into a drag show?  

The Brooklyn Public Library took a cue from the San Francisco Public Library by initiating their own version of the “Drag Queen Story Hour” for kids. That’s where dudes dress up like chicks and read fairy tales about chicks loving dudes to "curious” toddler. Kids aren’t curious about transvestites. At least, not in the way trans advocates like to believe everyone is curious about transvestites. Kids, especially little ones, couldn’t care less whether or not what you’re wearing corresponds to gender norms. 

So this has nothing to do with engaging toddlers with the practice of reading, which is what library story time is supposed to be all about. Instead, the "Drag Queen Story Hour” is yet another example of social justice advocates manipulating a family event for the purpose of political grandstanding.

Kindness, empathy, and peace are such great buzzwords, aren’t they? Words like that are so helpful when it comes to masking political intentions. “Molding kids while they’re young” doesn’t sound creepy or suspicious at all. Parents of toddlers who frequent library story hours would tend to agree. But let's face it, if their child is going to act out against anyone, it’s most likely going to be the kid who tries to take his toy away, not the drag queen looking to star in a publicity stunt.

All that really matters is race and gender. The latest target, the vaunted position of  Librarian  of Congress. 

PJ Media - There is now a Republican-led effort for the Senate to confirm President Obama’s nomination of Carla Hayden to be the librarian of Congress. Her confirmation hearing proceeded without any serious review of her record, her views, or her qualifications.

The American people should be asking why any senator would be anxious to confirm a nominee who is not only unqualified, but whom The Nation magazine celebrated as a “radical librarian” who champions unrestricted access to pornography in public libraries.

Other members of Congress should be asking why there is such a hurry to put a non-scholarly political activist in charge of their research arm -- the Congressional Research Service, which is within the Library of Congress. The post of librarian of Congress has long been filled not by librarians, but by first-rank scholars and historians of national reputation.

The librarian of Congress is, in effect, the nation’s scholar-in-chief. Retired incumbent James H. Billington, who left the position in 2015, authored five books, dozens of scholarly articles, and was the former director of the Smithsonian’s Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. He also taught history at Harvard and Princeton. His predecessor Daniel Boorstin was a prolific scholar of the American experience -- his book The Americans won the Pulitzer Prize.

And what are Carla Hayden's qualifications for such a prestigious post? She headed the Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore since 1993. She has edited, not written, only one book: a bibliography of culturally diverse materials, and is neither a scholar nor a historian. 

The post of librarian of Congress is of vital importance to the nation's cultural and intellectual life. However, she seems to have been nominated, according to National Review, because of the Obama administration's “yoke of identity politics.” Obama didn’t emphasize her qualifications as a scholar or historian when he nominated her because of “her meager scholarly credentials,” according to the Weekly Standard. Instead, Obama emphasized her gender and race:

"Carla Hayden would be the first woman and the first African American to hold the position – both of which are long overdue."

Obama's 'Slush Fund' for Liberal Groups

"Bank of America has been able to reduce a multi-billion dollar mortgage fraud penalty imposed by the Justice Department by giving millions of dollars to liberal groups approved by the Obama administration.

"The bank has wiped about $194 million off its record $16.6 billion 2014 mortgage settlement by donating to nonprofits and legal groups. Thanks to little-known provisions in the settlement, the bank only had to make $84 million in donations to do that. ...

"Among the groups receiving the money were Hispanic civil rights group the National Council of La Raza ($1.5 million), the National Urban League ($1.1 million) and the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America ($750,000).

"Republicans have sharply criticized that part of the settlement as well as near-identical language in multi-billion settlements with Citigroup, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, arguing that the administration has created a 'slush fund' for liberal groups. The settlement skirts federal law, which says that any revenue obtained by the government must go to the Treasury and cannot be redirected to third parties. There's that phrase "Republicans have sharply criticized" we've heard all these many years. Ya know the phrase that has put so much fear in the administration and stymied the progress of the Obama agenda.

The Wealthy Are Fleeing Chicago

Chicago Trib - Millionaires are leaving Chicago more than any other city in the United States on a net basis. About 3,000 individuals with net assets of $1 million or more, not including their primary residence, moved from the city last year, with many citing rising racial tensions and worries about crime as factors in the decision.  That represented about 2 percent of the city's high net worth individuals.

Chicago was among four cities worldwide with the biggest flight of millionaires. Paris saw the largest exodus. The French city lost 7,000, or 6 percent, of its millionaires, followed by Rome, which lost 5,000, or 7 percent. Chicago was next, followed by Athens.

Most of the millionaires who left Paris and Rome fled their countries, while Chicagoans moved elsewhere in the United States, said New World Wealth, whose data is used by luxury-goods companies, private banks and real estate professionals, among others.

The report found that the Chicago area has fallen out of the top echelon of U.S. cities when it comes to the percentage of black households earning more than $100,000. In 2000, Chicago ranked seventh among the cities with the largest percentage of black households with income at that level or higher, but in 2015, Chicago had dropped out of the top 10.

Sources for the millionaire-migration study, the third done by New World Wealth, include: interviews with about 800 millionaires a year; interviews with migration experts, wealth managers and property agents; property sales records; and tracking of millionaire movements in the media.

Heavy Hand of Government Poised to Strike Again

To comply with the 2005 Real ID Act, citizens in a number of U.S. states will now be forced to obtain a passport if they want to board an airplane....Even for domestic flights.

Starting in 2016, travelers from five U.S. states - Louisiana, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New York, and Wisconsin will not be able to use their driver’s licenses as ID to board domestic flights.

The website of Department of Homeland Security explains fives states are “noncompliant jurisdictions” meaning that to board an aircraft, you will need a passport.  That's a pretty major development considering a majority of Americans don’t have passports.

"Secure driver’s licenses and identification documents are a vital component of our national security framework. The REAL ID Act, passed by Congress in 2005, enacted the 9/11 Commission’s recommendation that the Federal Government ‘set standards for the issuance of sources of identification, such as driver’s licenses. The purposes covered by the Act are: accessing Federal facilities, entering nuclear power plants, and, no sooner than 2016, boarding federally regulated commercial aircraft." 

The Real ID act has been controversial since its initial proposal over ten years ago and is seen by many as a massive violation of privacy. One of the primary reasons it has taken the government so long to roll this program out is that the program is wildly unpopular and creates heavy backlash every time it appears in the news.

Let's put this in perspective: take a hypothetical traveler from Louisiana who is....let's say 78, and has difficulty getting around (we'll call him Mr. Boudreau ). Let’s suppose that Mr. Boudreau wants to fly to South Carolina to visit relatives. The government has no compunction what so ever about requiring him first to make a trip to a federal facility that accepts passport applications and, to add insult to injury cough up the $110 processing fee to obtain a U.S. passport.

And I might remind you these same government types object strenuously to the law in Louisiana that requires Mr. Boudreau to have a photo ID to vote, which the state is more than happy to provide at no charge.

A new back to school guide published by the Human Rights Campaign designed to make classrooms “gender inclusive” urges teachers to “avoid using gender to divide and address students” so as to prevent any transgender students from becoming upset.

“Instead of addressing your class using “boys” and “girls,” try something new. Words like “friends,” “students” or “scholars” allow all students to feel included, expand student vocabulary and model inclusive language and behavior for other students and teachers,” states the guide.

Asking students to identify as male or female on paperwork is also vehemently discouraged, with the guide encouraging schools to, “consider adding a third write-in option for those who have non-binary gender identities.”

A link to another resource shows a ‘gender inclusive registration form’ which gives children the option to pick their own “gender preferred pronoun.” The guide also urges schools not to include the words “mother” or “father” on any forms in case someone is offended.
 
Teachers are also encouraged to take advantage of “teachable moments” where they can explain to children why a student may have “two moms” or two dads, and how not just a man and a woman are capable of having a baby. The guide also advises teachers not to restrict certain activities to one gender, for example by encouraging boys to take part in girls’ dance lessons.

And lest we forget, the largest transfer of sophisticated military technology was to China during the Clinton administration, by lowering Cold War security and outright espionage, (just one of the many Clinton scandals) leading to the Chinese development of advanced submarine technology and  multiple warhead intercontinental ballistic missiles now capable of striking the US mainland. 

The NAACP’s Monster Under the Bed

The NAACP’s sole weapon is fear. The organization gets its way because many businesses and public figures live in fear of being slapped with the label “racist.” But what, if anything, frightens the NAACP? No, it’s not your conservative blog or podcast, so don’t flatter yourself.

However, there is one person who scares the bejesus out of the NAACP leadership, and he’s one of their own officials: an unstoppable, unkillable bugbear named Reverend Curtis Everette Gatewood.   NAACP leaders cower in his presence.

Gatewood dislikes Jews, Israel, immigrants, and non-Christians. He’s damned Hillary Clinton supporters to hell, applauded the Baltimore rioters, compared black moms who stop their sons from rioting to white slave masters, co-organized a protest meeting at which Obama was repeatedly called a “nigger,” and pledged the NAACP’s support to an organization that opposes the NAACP, hurls racist bile at Asian immigrants and Jews, and calls Martin Luther King an “uncle Tom.”

And yet the national NAACP can’t, or won’t, get rid of the guy.

He pledged the support of his NAACP chapter to the African People’s Socialist Party/Uhuru Movement, a black separatist organization that seeks to foment a violent revolution to create an independent black nation on U.S. soil. 

The Uhuru militants have, in the past, called for the murder of Archbishop Desmond Tutu (in retaliation for him not ordering the mass execution of white South Africans following the end of Apartheid), and the expulsion of “parasitic” Asian immigrants and business owners. On a broadcast of the Uhuru radio program, Gatewood stated that his NAACP chapter stands 100% behind Uhurus’ goals.
