I Know I'll Wake Up Soon.......

When I read things like THIS in the U.S. print media and think back on the last four years, I can't help but believe I am in some kind of delusional coma or just having a real bad dream that I will wake up from soon.....
"AS the nation teeters at the edge of fiscal chaos, observers are reaching the conclusion that the American system of government is broken. But almost no one blames the culprit: our insistence on obedience to the Constitution, with all its archaic, idiosyncratic and downright evil provisions.
Consider, for example, the assertion by the Senate minority leader last week that the House could not take up a plan by Senate Democrats to extend tax cuts on households making $250,000 or less because the Constitution requires that revenue measures originate in the lower chamber. Why should anyone care? Why should a lame-duck House, 27 members of which were defeated for re-election, have a stranglehold on our economy? Why does a grotesquely malapportioned Senate get to decide the nation’s fate?
Our obsession with the Constitution has saddled us with a dysfunctional political system, kept us from debating the merits of divisive issues and inflamed our public discourse. Instead of arguing about what is to be done, we argue about what James Madison might have wanted done 225 years ago.
As someone who has taught constitutional law for almost 40 years, I am ashamed it took me so long to see how bizarre all this is." - LOUIS MICHAEL SEIDMAN

How far we’ve fallen when the biggest resistance to tyranny is done by arts and crafts stores.

By David Green, CEO and Founder of Hobby Lobby Inc.
"When my family and I started our company 40 years ago, we were working out of a garage on a $600 bank loan, assembling miniature picture frames. Our first retail store wasn’t much bigger than most people’s living rooms, but we had faith that we would succeed if we lived and worked according to God’s Word.
From there, Hobby Lobby has become one of the nation’s largest arts and crafts retailers, with more than 500 locations in 41 states. Our children grew up into fine business leaders, and today we run Hobby Lobby together, as a family. We’re Christians, and we run our business on Christian principles. I’ve always said that the first two goals of our business are (1) to run our business in harmony with God’s laws, and (2) to focus on people more than money. And that’s what we’ve tried to do. We close early so our employees can see their families at night. We keep our stores closed on Sundays, one of the week’s biggest shopping days, so that our workers and their families can enjoy a day of rest......."
"But now, our government threatens to change all of that. A new government health care mandate says that our family business MUST provide what I believe are abortion-causing drugs as part of our health insurance. Being Christians, we don’t pay for drugs that might cause abortions, which means that we don’t cover emergency contraception, the morning-after pill or the week-after pill. We believe doing so might end a life after the moment of conception, something that is contrary to our most important beliefs. It goes against the Biblical principles on which we have run this company since day one. If we refuse to comply, we could face $1.3 million PER DAY in government fines.
Our government threatens to fine job creators in a bad economy. Our government threatens to fine a company that’s raised wages four years running. Our government threatens to fine a family for running its business according to its beliefs. It’s not right. I know people will say we ought to follow the rules; that it’s the same for everybody. But that’s not true. The government has exempted thousands of companies from this mandate, for reasons of convenience or cost. But it won’t exempt them for reasons of religious belief......"

Democrat House and Senate Members Call for Investigation of Popular Philanthropist and North Pole Businessman

Middle Finger News Service

It is reported today that leading Democrat House and Senate members are calling for an congressional investigation of North Pole Businessman and Philanthropist,  S. Claus, on allegations of a possibly conspiracy with American Retailers such as Wal-mart, Target, Macys and many others involving profiteering.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Cal) accused Mr. Claus of conspiring for years by way of a made up holiday to enrich himself as well as already wealthy retail and related industry CEO's.
"This conspiracy involves duping small businesses and households to spend their already stretched resources, money that could be otherwise used to support a government the people want and demand." Pelosi announced. "This is Big Business Trickery and Greed at it's worst and we plan to pressure congress to look into it throughly."
Even more egregious accusation were leveled at Mr. Claus by Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano . "For years NORAD has monitored Mr. Claus Violating United States air space without notification, permission or any attempt at communicating his intent. He is widely known to covertly penetrate restricted areas such as Air Bases, Military installations and even the White House at times in the dead of night."  Napolitano  added "we cannot have people just breezing across our sovereign borders without permission. He's damn lucky some fly boy hasn't shot his ass out of the air!"
Although not a resident of the U.S., an Equal Opportunity Commission Spokesman addressed discrimination concerns about hiring practices at Mr. Claus foreign headquarters by stating Mr. Claus seems to hire exclusively low wage, non-union small people to slave away day in and day out at his manufacturing operations. "We find this disturbing, a trend common in the third world."
Representative Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Tex) also expressed concerns "about this White Christmas thang" and over Mr. Claus conceived racist tendencies by the constant use of the phase "Ho-Ho-Ho". Congress person Lee asked "Where does this fat ol' white man get off goin round callin people Ho's anyway?"

Sidestepping a Constitution Isn't Just an Obama Thing......

As Hugo Chavez, Venezuela's Dictator/Man of the People, lay recovering from cancer surgery somewhere in Fidel Castro's socialist paradise, opposition leaders tout through constitutional measures of ousting Sean Penn's favorite pal....

from Babalu'
Constitution? We don’t need no stinkin’ Constitution!
"It's beginning to look a lot like a Christmas power grab. Get ready for a Chavista coup in Venezuela if Chavez does not recover by January 10.
Diosdado Cabello, president of the National Assembly said on Saturday that opponents of Hugo Chavez "should harbor no hope whatsoever" that Chavez's inability to be sworn in as president of the country on January 10 will cancel the results of the past election or trigger a new one within thirty days, as required by the Venezuelan constitution.
He also said that if Chavez fails to show up on January 10 there would be no interim solution, and that neither he himself nor Nicolas Maduro (Chavez's hand-picked successor) would assume the presidency. In other words: Cabello said that Chavez would continue being president, no matter what. Neither Illness nor the Venezuelan constitution will make any difference.
"You are wrong," he said to anyone who would expect the constitution to be followed in case of Chavez's absence. "This is not the way in which you will come into power." Poking fun at the opposition, he charged that they were all foolishly "worked up" ("alborotados") about January 10, and were "absolutely deluded" ("absolutamente pelados")......"
Of course, with John Kerry as U.S. Secretary of State we can look forward to an ever-closer cooperation with the Chavistas, with or without Chavez. Forget about any pressure from the U.S. to restore a real democracy in Venezuela......"

Barack's Obama's Diary.....Making Merry

The Laughing Conservative
Aloha, Diary.
It's Christmas! Nothing to do today except maybe some golf and body surfing at the beach within the Marine Corpse Base. Imagine: A whole day that I can devote to thoughts of myself and how to ensure my proper place in history as one of the world's finest leaders, if not the finest leader. People accuse me of being too self-absorbed. Let me be perfectly clear, a mind as quick and agile as mine needs constant external intellectual stimulus or it must turn inwards for intellectual refreshment. Instead of the ancient Tibetan Buddhist chant, Om mani padme Om. I chant Choom... mani, padme....Choom. Works for me.
Yesterday I had been in a quandary over what to give Michelle for Christmas. Then, after much reflection [that is, admiring my image in the mirror] the perfect gift appeared in my mind's eye like a Star in the East: I am a wise man , so I will give her gold, frankincense and me! I immediately dispatched a minion to Saks in Waikiki for a sack of assorted gold bling and a flask of exotic, expensive perfume. This morning as we unwrapped presents I gave her the aforesaid gifts, then stood bare-chested before her and yelled ta-da!

Joe Biden's New Mission Should Keep Him Busy for Awhile

What better person could Obama choose to chair a commission to look into Gun Violence, Mental Illness and American Culture then America's favorite goof-ball, Joe Biden.....

The president is well-known for asking groups of people to gather to discuss problems of national importance, including task forces on: working families, the middle class; Guantanamo Bay, commercial advocacy, Hurricane Sandy rebuilding, interagency ocean policy, childhood obesity, Puerto Rico’s status, federal contracting opportunities for small businesses, climate change adaption, financial fraud enforcement, and many, many others. A search on the White House website for the words “task force” yields 86,000 results.
What exactly have these task forces accomplished? What legislation has been put forth? What executive orders have been put into effect? What do they do besides issue reports?
Two of the most famous initiatives the White House has began, the Middle Class Task Force and the Jobs Council, can give you some idea.

Mayans 'Full of Shit' say Experts from within Lead-lined Bunker

Daily Mash

Scientist have laughed in the face of the apocalypse from their nuclear bunker beneath a mountain. Speaking from one and a half miles beneath the Sierra Nevada mountain range, experts from the Institute for Doom Studies dismissed 12/21/12 apocalypse predictions as hokum.

Professor Henry Brubaker said: “Such is our indifference to the 13th b’ak’tun and the rogue planet Nibiru that we’re hosting a invitation only big ass ‘un-Apocalypse’ party for the scientific community, world leaders and genetically superior individuals.

“In a bunker. Because bunkers are fun places.”

Surrounded by thousands of boxes of crisps, test-tubes full of urine and bottles of Orangina, Professor Brubaker said: “What did the Mayans know anyway? Apart from that Magnum ice cream and the film Apocalypto, all they’ve given us is a remarkably prescient understanding of the universe that appears to have been developed in conjunction with extraterrestrial intelligence.”

Elsewhere in the underground complex, radiologist and father of two, Julian Cook was busy writing ironic farewell letters to his wife and children. “It’s totally an ironic thing. If and when Susan opens it on the 22nd December, she’ll be like “That is so Julian.” He then added that the letter wasn’t actually ironic, that he was terrified and if you type 21/12/2012 in Wingdings on Microsoft Word it comes out as a picture of a giant lizard with the face of a dog.

Meet your next Secretary of State

via Talk Straight
“He’s old. He’s white. He’s clearly a member of the ‘evil 1%’. He doesn’t pay his taxes. He admits to taking part in war atrocities. He committed treasonous acts and also admits breaking the law by meeting with Viet Cong leaders. His ‘Vietnam Veterans Winter Soldier Investigation’ was later exposed as a total fraud.
“He wore fake medals while testifying before Congress. And, based on this photo, he’s clearly a ‘gun nut’. But he’s a liberal…so there’s nothing to see here. Meet your next Secretary of State, John Kerry.”

Attorney General Secretly Granted Gov. Ability to Develop and Store Dossiers on Innocent Americans

"In a secret government agreement granted without approval or debate from lawmakers, the U.S. attorney general recently gave the National Counterterrorism Center sweeping new powers to store dossiers on U.S. citizens, even if they are not suspected of a crime, according to a news report.
Earlier this year, Attorney General Eric Holder granted the center the ability to copy entire government databases holding information on flight records, casino-employee lists, the names of Americans hosting foreign-exchange students and other data, and to store it for up to five years, even without suspicion that someone in the database has committed a crime, according to the Wall Street Journal, which broke the story.
Whereas previously the law prohibited the center from storing data compilations on U.S. citizens unless they were suspected of terrorist activity or were relevant to an ongoing terrorism investigation, the new powers give the center the ability to not only collect and store vast databases of information but also to trawl through and analyze it for suspicious patterns of behavior in order to uncover activity that could launch an investigation....."

Steppin' Up Crazy

But for a moment, put aside the debate over gun laws that started before the dead had been properly counted in Newtown, Connecticut, and help me understand why there are so many crazy people walking around. I’m not talking about odd people, or angry people with bad tempers. I’m talking psychotic-you-can-see-it-in-their-eyes-from-fifty-feet-away crazy. Jared Loughner. James Egan Holmes. Seung-Hui Cho. These guys didn’t exactly hide their craziness from the world.

Pelosi Slams Republicans of a “lack of concern” over Kwanzaa.

Maybe because it not a real holiday.......
Like she really cares about a black liberation based “holiday”. This is just another example of the Left pandering to a stereotyped black community (after all, in people like Pelosi’s eyes, all black people celebrate Kwanzaa-you know….cause it’s the black holiday), so they can go “Look at us. We understand and love your blackness. Totally ignore the fact that we’re insulting the majority of the black community who are Christian- We just love us some Kwanzaa!! Now have more foodstamps and vote Democrat!”
But the really sad part? The black community continues to fall for it.

Who is Obama really negotiating with over the fiscal cliff?

Spellchek
I wasn’t going to post on the fiscal cliff because it’s being covered ad nauseam already, but I can’t help it and have to throw in my two cents on what’s driving it anyway. Why are the ‘negotiations’ being conducted in secret? That’s easy. There aren’t any and neither party wants the public to know that. After all, this is the fiscal cliff, right? Armageddon and all that. Can’t be seen doing nothing or it really kills the effect. That’s why there are no serious offers because compromise isn’t in the cards. Both sides throw out proposals guaranteed to be rejected by the other side because they have already made their political calculations on the fallout.
Obama isn’t negotiating with the GOP. He’s negotiating with the 20 Senate democrats whose seats are up for re-election in 2014. They will be most vulnerable to a public backlash if we go over the fiscal cliff. He needs them to vote to go over the cliff when the GOP passes legislation in the House extending tax cuts for all. He isn’t concerned with House democrats since they are outnumbered. They already have cover to vote as they wish if they are concerned about a 2014 backlash.
Clearly, Obama prefers to go over the cliff. It’s a wish list of goodies for him if we do like defense cuts and raising taxes for all, something he can’t do under his class envy narrative. Oh, don’t worry about another recession. That’s bonus as well. The obstructionist GOP will get blamed and then he will have the political capital required for more stimulus. 9% unemployment again as some economists predict? More bonus as he can extend unemployment benefits. We could go on but you get the picture.
People need to get past this notion that Obama is concerned with a poor economy or high unemployment. He considers those opportunities. An ideologue needs instability and fear in order to implement their agenda. The negatives we see today aren’t failures of his policies, they are successes in his eyes. If we were just trucking along with 4% unemployment and 6-8% GDP numbers each quarter, he couldn’t get his agenda through. Seems a little convoluted but not when you consider his ideology. It trumps all.
Take defense cuts in light of the instability around the globe. Doesn’t make sense to a logical thinking person. But Obama has been clear on this. He see’s America as imperialist. He fully intends to eliminate our capability to initiate full-scale wars anymore. Our stated goal for decades has been to have the ability to fight wars on two fronts simultaneously. Not anymore. The pivot toward the Asia-Pacific region is not just talk. We are pulling up stakes in the Middle East. Israel will be left to go it alone. Turkey and Jordan have been longtime allies in the region, but that is changing as we speak. Do you think it mere coincidence that the Muslim Brotherhood is taking over state by state? Syria and Lebanon will fall as well.
To think that over 62 million Americans are so blind as to re-elect him despite the handwriting on the wall flashing in large neon letters not to do it is as frustrating and disappointing as the founders could have ever envisioned. They saw much and put in safeguards in the Constitution to protect against them. Big government is nothing new as that threat has been around far longer than America. Nor is ruling by a tyrant or dictator. But to think that we the people would embrace our demise so blindly is tough to swallow.
Worried about going over the fiscal cliff? Be more worried about any deal to prevent it.

No Incentives Needed.......

When they advocate higher taxes and regulations on job creators, Democrats pretend that incentives are irrelevant. In real life, Democrats know better:
* Google CEO Eric Schmidt is a long time Obama supporter but Google uses an impressively complicated series of shell companies to hide its corporate profits from taxation here, and from over seas taxations.
* Former Senator John Kerry, rumored to be a possible cabinet pick in Obama's second term, happily hid his 76-foot yacht from Massachusetts taxes until his subterfuge was publicly exposed.
* Warren Buffett is a prominent Obama supporter who calls for higher taxes on the rich. Yet, he has arranged for most of his estate to escape taxation while calling for increasing the estate tax.
Apparently, the cognitive dissonance (that subtle creepy feeling we're not quite done tweaking our belief system) seemingly causes them no pain.

Democrats Begin Working Toward Pantsuit’s Coronation

"One of the most pronounced recent changes in the attitudes toward leadership and order of the two major American political parties is the reversal in affection for handing off the baton to the next in line. Republicans had long bestowed the party’s presidential nomination on last time’s runner-up, or a candidate who had put in his time and whose turn, it was believed, had come. But the battle for the 2016 GOP nomination is looking wide open, and will likely consist of a cast of young, more conservative candidates competing to set the party’s new direction.

The Democrats, on the other hand, nominated Barack Obama in 2008 with the rallying cry of striking out against political entitlement, embodied by Hillary Clinton. Next time, however, Democrats seem to want a coronation, not a nomination. And they would like the beneficiary of this appointment with history to be Hillary Clinton.  Recently James Carville said on“This Week with George Stephanopoulos”:
"This is entirely different. Every Democrat I know says, God, I hope she runs. We don’t need a primary. Let’s just go to post with this thing. We don’t want to fight with anybody over anything.”
The Republicans, they need a fight. Somebody’s got to beat somebody….
Yeah, you’ve got to beat somebody. And the Republicans know that they need a primary. We don’t want — we don’t want a primary. We don’t want to be slugging this thing out (inaudible) you know what? We’ve got a pretty good demographic deck. We kind of get — we like winning presidential elections. She’s popular. Let’s just go with it."
Aside from the obvious, there’s a key phrase Carville used here that went unnoticed on the show. The Democrats have “a pretty good demographic deck.” Not only do the Democrats want to avoid a primary election, they’d like to avoid a general election too. Though Carville probably didn’t have this in mind when he used the phrase, running a “historic” candidate like Clinton would basically be a replay of Obama’s two elections, in which the media coverage was fawning and devoid of any serious examination of the Democratic candidate, and in which opposition to the Democrats’ candidate can be chalked up to bigotry. “We don’t want to fight with anybody over anything,” says Carville. Expect that to be the case in 2016 if Clinton is their candidate.

Take a gander at the New York Times’s article on Clinton’s options going forward. It’s appallingly worshipful, but it’s only the beginning. The conceit of the piece is a question: What should Hillary do? It’s a clear indication that Clinton wants people to think she’s running, and buried in the article we finally get the reason why. The Times tells us that Clinton “may appear to be a figure of nearly limitless possibility.” There is nothing she can’t do, so what should she do? The Times asks another related question and then endeavors to answer it:
"What is the most dignified way for her to make money?"

State Department Spent 4.5 Million for Embassy Art, Had No Money for Benghazi Security

Remember Benghazi only happened because the State Department had no money for security. And the military had no money for planes. And Obama had no money for his campaign and had to rush to Vegas to fundraise with Beyonce.
Things that the State Department did have money for? Mosque renovations, promoting environmental awareness in Baghdad, and 4.5 million for Art in Embassies.
The New York Times reported in 2009 that Art in Embassies spends about $4.5 million a year for permanent art acquisitions; chief curator Virginia Shore said at the time that artists and dealers support the program via favorable pricing; for the embassy in Beijing, an outlay of $800,000 yielded works with an appraised value of $30 million.
So… maybe we can sell some of that as a profit and pay for bodyguards. Or we could just hand out medals to the artists in exchange for favorable pricing. Yes, let’s do that.

Congress acts decisively to solve one of the nation’s worst problems

With the federal government borrowing in the neighborhood of  $5 billion a day to operate and Reid and Pelosi readying their Thelma and Louise impersonations as we speed toward the cliff, thank God we have a congress with their priorities in order......

from babalu
"The sharply divided US Congress has been able to agree on one thing at least - that the word "lunatic" should be banned.
The House of Representatives voted 398-1 on Wednesday to strike the term from all federal legislation, after the Senate did the same in May. The measure is designed to remove language that has become outdated or demeaning from the US code. The bill will now go to the President for his signature.
Senator Kent Conrad (D- yeah surprised?), one of the sponsors of the measure, said: "Federal law should reflect the 21st Century understanding of mental illness and disease, and that the continued use of this pejorative term has no place in the US code." "Lunatic" is derived from the Latin word for moon, and the belief that it could affect mental health.
The word still appears in some parts of federal law - a section of financial regulation, for example, addresses the power of a bank to act as a "committee of estates of lunatics".
The only "no" vote came from Texas congressman Louie Gohmert, who said it was madness for lawmakers to waste time on such a measure when more high-profile issues loomed, such as the federal debt.
"Not only should we not eliminate the word 'lunatic' from federal law when the most pressing issue of the day is saving our country from bankruptcy," said Rep Gohmert in a statement. "We should use the word to describe the people who want to continue with business as usual in Washington."

Obama Creates New Atmospheric Agency

With Fridays announcement of improvement in jobless numbers attributed to Hurricane Sandy, President Obama has announced the formation of a new NASA task force (National Atmospheric Preparedness for Incidental Economics) or NAPIE, charged with learning how to fabricate tropical weather patterns. "We'll create jobs to make the hurricanes and then create more to clean them up," he said. "It's win-win for the American people."

Liberal East Coast politicians were said to initially balk at the idea until a White House promise of massive federal aid packages (including emergency golf course repair) and skillfully staged photo opportunities during the Commander and Chief's visit to the devastation (vacation schedule permitting) after cleanup begins.

One Southern Gulf Coast Governor was quoted as saying "He can send the money but save the trip down, we ain't kissing his +$?#@&* ass for a picture. Shiiiiit! Besides, if the Feds are involved in making it work, we really got nothing to worry about."

Work is to begin admittedly to prepare for a highly anticipated early devastating hurricane season and unemployment figures dropping into the 7.6 to 7.5 range

Obama’s Ministry Of Truth Replacing Great Literature With Propaganda

  Paul Mirengoff
"Controversy is brewing over new Common Core State Standards in English that call on public schools to emphasize the reading of “information text” instead of fictional literature. According to the Washington Post, English teachers across the country are upset by what they consider the governments effort “to drive literature out of the classroom.”
"English teachers are right to be upset, but they shouldn’t take it personally. The government has nothing much against literature, per se. Rather, this initiative is driven in large part by the desire to promote political propaganda in the classroom. The study of literature is being downgraded in the process, but for a good cause.
Consider that one of the “informational texts” recommended as a replacement for, say, Great Expectations is “Executive Order 13423: Strengthening Federal Environmental, Energy, and Transportation Management.” Students would thus study government propaganda in English class (this Executive Order was issued under President Bush, but it is still propaganda — a political sop to the environmental left, as Stanley Kurtz shows).
Another Common Core’s non-fiction exemplar is an excerpt from a 2009 New Yorker essay by Atul Gawande on health care. This too is propaganda – an effort to show that Obamacare is wise policy.
Proponents of downgrading the teaching of literature claim that their goal is to make sure U.S. students can read and understand complicated texts. But there are plenty of complicated texts that don’t amount to political propaganda, much less propaganda relating to current hot-button policy issues in which the Obama administration is heavily invested. If teaching students how to read such texts were the only goal here, the list of exemplar tests wouldn’t include one-sided political tracts about health care and the environment.
Consider also where the Common Core comes from? The Washington Post tries to make it appear that the new curriculum percolated up from the states. But at the back end of its story we find that “the Obama administration kicked the notion into high gear when it required states to adopt the common standards — or an equivalent — in order to compete for Race to the Top grant funds.” (emphasis added).
The Common Core, then, should be viewed, at least in part, as an attempt by the Obama administration to gain control of what is taught in public schools for the purpose of indoctrination. As Stanley Kurtz puts it, “Obama has managed to press direct support for his most cherished and controversial policy initiative onto your local school district.”

It's Time to Fire John Boehner

The Left Coast Rebel

We've made no bones here about our disgust with GOP leadership, especially statist Speaker of the House, John Boehner. At every single point, even when he had the upper hand, he folded like a moth-balled 20-dollar suit.
He handed Obama everything he wanted and more in every single three-ring-circus "negotiation" we had the misfortune of witnessing. And his recent promise to exact reform or deep budgets cuts as the debt ceiling increase creeps up before the election?
Please, give us a break...
As independent conservatives and libertarians, we shouldn't be surprised.
If you inspect his big-government record, like a trained seal, you'll find he's doing exactly what he was trained to: he's just a slimy Good Ol' Boy backroom-dealing big-government Republican charlatan.
How did he ever get the speakership? Answer: because the Good Ol' Boy big-government Republican back-scratching statist network is alive and well - even as America burns.
They don't give a crap that America is deficit spending untold billions per day. They could care less that we are bankrupting our children and our children's children. They don't give a flying rat's ass or a rolling donut that their acquiescence to the every Democrat pet program (including national bankruptcy) means the nation's certain failure.

They Are Watching – And Pointing and Laughing

Big Fur Hat - IOTW

This is straight out of the “you’re never going to believe this in a million epochs” file.
There’s a country called the United States on a planet Earth that is going through a political battle.
Basically, the country has two major ruling parties. The democrats want the government to be as big as possible, running everyone’s lives from “womb to tomb,” transferring as many responsibilities as possible to the collective. They do this by confiscating revenue that the people have earned.
The republicans claim to want the government as small as possible, letting people run their own lives as much as possible, keeping their own money and taking on their own responsibilities. Many times the republicans have been in power, yet, the government is still a behemoth that is completely out of money.
The United States just reelected a president who has spent more money that he doesn’t have at a rate that exceeds the amount the 43 other presidents spent… combined.
The amount of money being proposed for spending, plus the debt that they admit that they already accrued, plus the amount of money that has been promised through what they call entitlements, exceeds all of the wealth of the entire planet combined.
The republicans want some serious talk about pruning the size of the government. Meanwhile the democrats blame this problem on the people who already foot most of the bill already. They say they “aren’t paying their fair share.” Even if they took every earned penny from these people being scapegoated it wouldn’t make a dent towards the money the democrats are spending. Interestingly, most of the people who are largely responsible for electing this president do not pay into the system, but they expect a big payout. It’s called “fairness.”
But none of this is the part you’re not going to believe. This is the part -

All You Bobby Jindal Fans Need to Read This...

Jindal seeks backing from casino billionaire.....

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal  has approached casino billionaire Sheldon Adelson about possible financial backing for a presidential run in 2016.
Jindal, the self proclaimed anti-gambling, pro-life, anti- gay marriage conservative is showing he is indeed the political opportunist I have been telling you he was.
Ready to sell out his phony conservative ideals that got him elected our Louisiana Governor twice for big bucks from Adelson to run for the White House.

Britain Prepares to Retaliate

Mr. Bean
Recent network news reports that President Obama will soon name Vogue Magazine editor and poodle look alike Anna Wintour as Ambassador to Great Britain, resulted in a rapid defensive response from #10 Downing St. British Prime Minister Dave Cameron announced his plans to return the favor by appointing Roland Atkinson as the realms spokesperson in Washington.

“I’m only repaying the favor", said PM Cameron. "Obama returned Winston Churchill's bust, so I'm sending him back a real Boob!  I know the President is an arrogant SOB, but considering some ill dressed fashion maven as his Representative to the Court of St. James is ludicrous. And this is no time to upset her Majesty The Queen."

Wintour
London Mayor Boris Johnson applauded the possible appointment  on his twitter page, which sent his comments viral along with pictures of Anna at Westminster where she failed to qualify for the final line up of ‘Best in Breed’ for Standard Poodles. Seems her bite wasn’t quite right.
Mr. Bean was unavailable for comment.

Leftards Usurp Wikipedia

Prominent gender and media studies professors from across the country converged recently to help host what was dubbed by organizers as a “Feminist, Anti-Racist Wikipedia Edit-a-thon” to create or influence dozens of entries on the online encyclopedia.
from The College Fix
"A Claremont Graduate University endowment fund sponsored the effort, which promoted creating and “improving” entries dedicated to: feminists; feminist theories; science studies; science, technology and society; human sexuality; artificial intelligence; and film theory; according to an email that announced the event to the Claremont Colleges community......."
The event, also dubbed by organizers as “Wikistorm,” took place in late October at Claremont Graduate University in California.
The edit-a-thon appears to be one workshop that is a piece of larger project aimed in part at helping graduate and undergraduate students from a wide range of disciplines, primarily in the humanities, learn how to experiment with digital scholarship and expression. The Edit-a-thon page also suggested editing famed philosopher Rene Descartes’ page, noting its contemporary reception category “could include critiques and debates, including feminist philosophers who have criticized Cartesian dualism and its legacies.”
It’s unclear what changes, if any, were made to the entry, but its introduction currently reads that “human sexuality … can refer to issues of morality, ethics, theology, spirituality or religion. It is not, however, directly tied to gender.” It also reads that “socio-cultural aspects of sexuality include … Christian views on avoidance of sexual pleasure.......”
Wikistorm was open to the public, and students were encouraged to attend and take part. Its agenda also included a roundtable discussion on “feminist, anti-racist approaches to technology,” according to organizers......."
Why, O Conservatives, are we always playing defensively, always playing catch-up, always surprised when the forces of Mind Control make yet another attempt to indoctrinate the young, stifle free speech, monopolize the culture, marginalize the Christian and civilized voices who lingers in ever small numbers among us? Why?

What if Obama were the first President of the World?

Spellcheck

Obamadias  I
What if our Lord and Savior, Barack Obama, were the ruler of the world as Jamie Foxx wishes? Remember, we’re on the right course here in America, he just needs a little more time. What if his policies were extended out on a global scale? So, I figure if Foxx can have a little fun and elevate our POTUS to deity status, I’ll partake in the fun as well. Let’s take a look.

The current population estimate of the U.S. is 314,848,989 and the world population estimate is 7,055,206,288 according to the
U.S. Census Bureau.

The total current U.S. debt is $16,317,681,766,441.44. That’s a debt per citizen of $51,827.01. If Obama policies were global, we would have a total debt of $365,650,248,297,861.30. Yes, that’s over $365 trillion dollars in debt if Obama were King of the world.

How about the unemployment situation? The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that the nation’s official unemployment rate is 7.9% with 12.3 million Americans unemployed. Take that global and we would have 557,361,296 unemployed people. Gee, that’s about the same as last weeks Powerball jackpot so if you won you could give each of them a buck.

The U.S. Census Bureau estimates that we saw 14,944,642 American households received food stamp assistance in 2011. In 2011, 44.7 million recipients took advantage at a cost of nearly $72 billion dollars. Under the King of the world, we would see an astounding 1,001,839,292 people on food stamps at a jaw dropping cost of over $11.3 trillion dollars.

Pretty frightening when you extend the Obama policies out to a global scale since the American voter apparently wasn’t too impressed based upon his re-election. Over half a billion of the world’s population would be unemployed (yes I know the real numbers are much higher). Over a billion people on food stamps. This is on the right course?

Alas, there is some good news with Obama as POTW. No more individual countries means no more illegal aliens. No more China and Japan owning our debt. No more OPEC manipulating the price of gas. Best of all, we wouldn’t have to worry about Twinkie production going to Mexico!

Latinos: Democrats Newest Bitch Boys…..

After Latino voters helped re-elect President Obama — delivering the battleground states of Nevada and Colorado, and contributing to the victories in Florida and Virginia — a consensus quickly emerged among pundits and political observers that the quid pro quo would include comprehensive immigration reform.

How’s it feel to know you got played for votes, ese?

From The Seattle Times:
So why don’t Democrats want comprehensive-immigration reform? For the same five reasons that Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid teamed up in 2006 and 2007 with the nativist wing of the Republican Party to kill bipartisan bills and, in 2010, helped scuttle the DREAM Act — a mini-legalization program for college students and military.
• Democrats would rather not be known, in subsequent elections, as the “party of amnesty” and solidify their reputation for being dovish on border security. This would not help their chances with white and black voters who feel threatened and want stronger enforcement of immigration laws.
• They want to continue to have a club with which to bludgeon Republicans, and convince Latinos that the GOP is hostile to them and their concerns. This makes campaigning easier and delivers them votes in crucial states that they haven’t earned.
• They want to please organized labor, which opposes any stab at immigration reform that includes mention of guest workers. That is, any proposal that stands a chance of winning the Republican votes necessary for passage because Democrats are so splintered on the issue.
• They want to avoid a contentious debate that would surely divide the Democratic base by pitting Latinos and immigration reformers against labor unions, African Americans who feel displaced in the racial pecking order, and those who want to restrict immigration to protect U.S. workers.
• They want to preserve the current system, which works great for Democrats. They don’t do anything to fix the problem, so they don’t get saddled with any of the negative pushback they might get if they took action and Republicans used it against them. The GOP gets the blame for being “obstructionist.” Labor is happy. Latinos are duped. All is good.

Don’t kid yourself. Regardless of the election returns and the turmoil now engulfing the Republican Party, Democrats in Congress have no appetite for comprehensive-immigration reform. Now that Latino voters have let out a roar, Democrats simply have to be craftier in fooling these voters into thinking they’re doing their bidding while they continue to do what they want to do.

And don’t fret too much for being played like a bunch of suckers (which you dutifully proved you are). You’re in good company along with women, blacks, low income people and college students.
