Grassley on Unchecked Judicial Power
“The President of the United States shouldn’t have to ask permission from more than 600 different district judges to manage the executive branch he was elected to lead… The practice of sweeping nationwide injunctions, broad restraining orders and judicial policymaking must end. It’s unconstitutional, it’s anti-democratic and it’s imprudent..."I happen to agree with some Democrats that in previous years have said some judges have gone way beyond what a judge should do on national injunctions. I know Democrats have made that same accusation about district court judges in one district out of 93 in the United States applying their decision nationally. I won’t stand by and allow my colleagues to imply that the “Rule of Law,” those three words, only matters when there’s a Republican President. The silence we heard from Democrats about the rule of law during the Biden years was quite deafening..."For a number of years, but particularly in the last few months, we’ve seen increasingly sweeping, potentially lawless orders coming from any one of our 600 district judges out of the 93 districts we have. Although our founders saw an important role for the judiciary, individual district judges have empowered themselves to become nationwide policymakers, as opposed to interpreting the law. I consider this as very dangerous..."In the last few weeks, individual, unelected judges made policy decisions for the whole country. Some examples include: Ordering the President to stop deporting foreign terrorists; Directing the military to enlist and retain transgender servicemembers; Directing who will and will not staff the President’s administration; Ordering the immediate expenditure of billions of dollars. The practice of sweeping nationwide injunctions, broad restraining orders, and judicial policymaking must end. It’s unconstitutional, it’s anti-democratic and it’s imprudent.
In 2022, Justice Elena Kagan correctly observed, “It just can’t be right that one district judge can stop a nationwide policy in its tracks and leave it stopped for the years it takes to go through the normal process.....”

On Activist in Robes
[W]hether the judges are invested with exclusive authority to decide on the constitutionality of a law, has been heretofore a subject of consideration with me in the exercise of official duties. Certainly there is not a word in the Constitution which has given that power to them more than to the executive or legislative branches.
Of course, to the leftist Tom Jefferson's words are only golden when they are agreeable with their agenda, or in the present case of deportations, ignore his words to stymie lawful actions of their target of hate.

FAFO Waiting Room
"It’s as simple as this: the orgy of judicial lawfare put on by blob-adjacent Democratic Party seditionists trying to make the USA ungovernable is looking to get swatted. Hubris is a harsh mistress, but Nemesis is more like the gods’ re-po man, and he comes to the door with attitude, meaning bidness. Blob judges will get flushed out of their humid conclaves naked and find themselves, astoundingly, in the FO zone of FAFO-land.
Case in point: Judge James Boasberg, head honcho of the DC federal district court stepped into the FAFO waiting room over the weekend when he ordered two planeloads of deported toxic human trash known as Tren de Aragua, bound for jail in El Salvador, to return to the USA. Mr. Trump’s White House refused, saying the planes were already over international waters, outside the judge’s jurisdiction. Dem-blob lawyer Mark Zaid made the predictable next move, claiming that the matter will be grounds for Impeachment No. 3 against Mr. Trump post the 2026 midterm election. But, of course: strategery!
The general purpose in this latest phase of lawfare is to choke the federal courts with so many restraining orders and injunctions that the White House lawyers find themselves locked into an endless Chinese fire drill of counter-filings, motions, writs, and appearances. It’s all that the so-called “resistance” has left, what with DOGE breaking up the racketeering operation that has funded the Dem’s defense of the blob for a decade. By which I mean the government funding of non-governmental orgs (ha!) to distribute payola to Dem foot-soldiers who do all the dirty work of protecting the rogue bureaucracy in a circle-jerk of power and payoffs.
The history of Judge Boasberg in particular presents a disturbing picture of a tool covering-up every act of the shadowy blob’s war against American citizens. Boasberg presided in the FISA court that fraudulently enabled the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane operation to attempt ousting newly-elected Donald Trump in 2017, and the many RussiaGate pranks that followed. As chief judge of the DC District, he oversaw the Jack Smith Special Counsel op and all the cases associated with it, including the Mar-a-Lago raid and the J-6 case in Tanya Chutkan’s crooked court....." - J.H. Trump Broke Another One. 🤣
"Donald Trump’s brain is broken, badly damaged, as he exhibits every day. And once again today Donald Trump said something that would have gotten any other president rushed to the hospital for a neurological examination and an evaluation for dementia, for starters. That’s where they would have begun."

The Left’s War on Musk: ActBlue’s Fiery Tactics
Protest have increasingly become a tool not merely for expressing dissent but for exerting coercive pressure upon individuals who diverge from prevailing ideological orthodoxies. Recent organized attacks on Tesla dealerships across the nation provide a troubling illustration of this trend, with explicit efforts aimed at intimidating Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk into abandoning his leadership of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).Central to this disturbing phenomenon are five Democrat-affiliated non-governmental organizations (NGOs)—Troublemakers, Disruption Project, Rise & Resist, Indivisible Project, and the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). Funded significantly through ActBlue, these entities have leveraged protest not merely as an act of political expression but as strategic sabotage aimed squarely at Tesla’s economic interests and Musk’s personal resolve. The coordinated nature of these demonstrations warrants serious attention. Troublemakers and Disruption Project have overtly embraced tactics of direct confrontation, aligning themselves with the more militant strands of leftist activism. Tesla dealerships from coast to coast have experienced not only picketing and verbal harassment of potential customers but also outright vandalism—incidents of shattered showroom windows, vehicles defaced with accusatory graffiti, arson, and even episodes involving gunfire into dealership windows at night.

Dems and Blob Together
The Dems’ game has been revealed. The revenue stream for their national wrecking operations is suddenly cut off and it’s game-over. Everybody can see how this worked now. You funnel vast amounts of US taxpayer dollars into Non-Governmental Organizations, NGOs, spin off more NGOs below them, and add extra layers of subsidiary NGOs, and all of them pay their staffs of Dem Party foot-soldiers for do-nothing jobs — leaving plenty of time for riots and real-estate investing — a splendid racket that worked for years to support the insane antics of the Woke-Jacobin revolution. (And you paid for it.).The catch is: an org that gets government money is hardly non-governmental. Wouldn’t you think there’s some law against that? Thus, Exhibit A: in September 2022, Dem luminary John Podesta was put in-charge of a $369-billion fund out of “Joe Biden’s” so-called Inflation Reduction Act, tagged for climate change action. Conceptualize further: that’s three-hundred-seventy-nine-thousand-million dollars (!), a lot of millions, disbursed among tens of thousands of NGOs and their contractors. It boggles the mind that the government could even manage to cream-off such a fortune out our nation’s alleged aggregate productivity. It was, in reality, money conjured out of thin air: debt. Before long, you are going to find out where it all went, and the picture will not be a pretty one: Into the NGO laundromat and straight out to Democratic Party members’ bank accounts, one of the greatest grifts in our history. Of course, your grandchildren are on the hook for all the debt behind it. Do you think our DC Federal District judges would serve better presiding over these matters than spending years hunting down J-6 “paraders”? - J.H.Kunstler

No One Likes Us, Everybody Hates Us. I think We'll Go Eat Worms
"The latest survey from Gallup shows that the media hit another all-time low. What is most impressive is that plummeting readers, revenues, and layoffs have done little to convince the mainstream media that the problem is not the public but themselves. The only institution with a lower lower level of public trust is Congress, and that says a lot. It is like beating Ebola as the preferred communicable disease. Some 69 percent of Americans now say that they have no or little trust in the media. Only 31 percent say that they have a great deal or fair amount of trust. The trending line looks like the sales of buggy whips after the introduction of the Model T Ford. Gallop put it into sharp terms:
"About two-thirds of Americans in the 1970s trusted the "mass media -- such as newspapers, TV and radio" either 'a great deal' or 'a fair amount' to "[report] the news fully, accurately and fairly.' By the next measurement in 1997, confidence had fallen to 53%, and it has gradually trended downward since 2003. Americans are now divided into rough thirds, with 31% trusting the media a great deal or a fair amount, 33% saying they do 'not [trust it] very much," and 36%, up from 6% in 1972, saying they have no trust at all in it." - Jonathan Turley
