Preeminent Midget of Resistance Proclaims Trump Dystopian Nightmare.

Former Clinton Administration Labor Secretary, Robert B. Reich
"It’s even worse than I’d imagined. He’s been “flooding the zone” with so many outrageous (and often illegal) initiatives that many people are overwhelmed, demoralized, and just plain freaked out.
That’s the intent.
This morning, a woman I didn’t know was about to pass me on the sidewalk and then stopped, turned toward me, and almost shouted, “It’s a fucking nightmare!” Well, it is a “fucking nightmare” and unfortunately there’s nothing anyone can do right now to legally stop it (unless you’re a federal judge).
For now, we can and should do everything possible to protect people who are most vulnerable to the nightmare. The Trump regime will harm many innocent people. It already has.  Its lawless cruelty is sickening — as is the cowardice of so many CEOs, Wall Street bankers, leading lawyers, university presidents, publishers, social media titans, Republican politicians, some Democratic politicians, and other so-called “leaders” who are staying mum or obeying in advance or sucking up to Trump.
There will be a reckoning.
As bad as this “fucking nightmare” gets, it will awaken Americans to the truth about what has happened to this country — and what we must do to get it back on the track toward social justice, democracy, and widespread prosperity.
That’s what I believe.
That’s my faith as we slide into deepening darkness. - Robert Reich

----------------------- // -----------------------

Dear Professor Bob,

Congratulations on your masterclass in paranoia. You consistently craft a narrative where every action is a conspiracy, every policy a tyranny. How does it feel to live in such a dystopian fantasy? You advocate for 'resistance' but seem oblivious to the fact that your crusade is built on fear, not facts. So we should just blindly accept the rampant waste and abuse that has been inflicted upon the taxpayers?

You're not fighting for justice; you're fueling division, spreading misinformation, and cloaking your ignorance in the guise of activism. At what point do you question if your 'resistance' is actually just resistance to reality? When will you realize that your moral high ground is nothing but quicksand pulling you and everyone you influence into a pit of despair and cynicism?

But go on, keep tilting at windmills, fighting shadows. Just remember, history isn't kind to those who mistake their own echo chamber for the voice of reason. - DS

They're Beginning to Feel It. And the Little Professor is About to Pee Himself.

Former Clinton Secretary of Labor and Practicing Midget, Robert Reich

Dear Friends,
"Some of you have shared with me your fears about the upcoming election, now just twenty-two days away. I can’t sugarcoat this. It is frightening and worrying. We have already endured four years of Trump. Another term could tip America and the world into full-bore fascism. Trump has become even more unhinged and vindictive. His fascistic personality is now on full display — his cruel lies, scapegoating of innocent people, creation of enemies and “enemies within.” JD Vance is as bad, if not worse.
Many of you are dismayed that Trump is running almost head-to-head with Harris, given everything we and the rest of America already know about him, and given how talented and dedicated Harris is and would be — will be — as President. I understand your dismay. Rarely in history has America faced such a clear choice between authoritarianism and democracy, between moral squalor and decency. Why don’t more people see this? Or maybe they do, and the polls are flawed?
I also think it important not to become so consumed with the failings of current politicians or the hateful rhetoric of Trump and his fellow Republicans that we overlook the many good things that have happened in Washington under the Biden-Harris administration. Think of the grand jurors, jurors, prosecutors, and judges in Trump’s trials who have  not flinched from their duties.
And the election workers who are and will be doing everything in their power to protect our democracy. And all those who are working their hearts out right now to make sure Donald Trump stays out of the White House — including many of you.
It’s important that we act in even small ways to maintain the trust and decency that our system of self-government requires, even though decency seems to be in short supply with Trump and Vance and their lackeys. Counter lies with truth. When you hear someone repeating a Trump Republican lie, correct it. Do not tolerate bigotry and hate. When you see and hear it, call it out. Stand up to it, denounce it, and demand that others denounce it, too. Finally, do not stoop to name-calling, bullying, or any of the other tactics that Trump loyalists may be using."
To coin a borrowed phrase, "Do You Hear Yourself", Professor?

Former Clinton Circus Midget Has Fallen From His Booster Seat One Too Many Times.

"I trust Joe Biden’s steadiness and judgment, and if he runs again, I’ll probably back him in 2024. But today I want to suggest someone who isn’t even a Democrat, and whose positions on many issues I (and I suspect you) strongly disagree with — but who could possibly be the best president of the United States for the perilous time we’re entering.
I’m referring to Liz Cheney.
Before you reject this idea out of hand, please bear with me. Even if you still end up thinking it’s a ludicrous notion, let me take you through the argument." - Read More

Keith Olbermann Continues His Descent Into Madness

It almost feels like Christmas in October when your favorite kickballs start crawling out of the shadows to weigh in on the 2020 election. We just heard from one of our old favorites from the past, the mad midget Robert Reich, and now the once famous snarling unhinged left-wing psycho, all wrapped in outrage, Bathtub Boy Keith Olbermann last week surfaced once again to display some serious psychological madness, sounding like the rantings from an occupant of a padded room.

Olbermann’s first foray into crazed commentary and calls for legal action against the left's opponents was a  few days ago when he  proclaimed that Trump supporters and enablers were “maggots” who should all be removed from society.

But yesterday, during an unhinged rant about DJT and his response to the Chinese Lung Rot, Olbermann ramped up the crazy to 11, saying that DJT should be given the “death penalty.”

Behold!
Mr. Olbermann is not well. He is proof that bullying is a bad thing. Slapping ears in class, knocking books out of the nerds hands and making him cough up his lunch money gets you an Obermann.

I don't expect this to be the last we hear from bathtub boy before he finally jumps.....

How High Of A Heel Would You Like On Your Jackboots, Professor Reich??

The last time we visited one of our favorite kickball of the past, the former Clinton toadie Robert Reich, he was on the CNN spouting crazy, claiming the anti-Trump protest were actually a right-wing plot to delegitimize liberals. Needless to say, we had a real field day with that one. So much so, one loyal DMF reader humorously accused me of abusing short people.  But undeterred, today we again visited Dr. Reich's Booster Seat and what struck us as one remarkable tweet that has gone unnoticed.

Like a miniature villain from a dystopian future science fiction movie, Reich is proposing that when DJT is removed from office we create a form of a Ministry of Truth, totalitarian “commissions” & “committees” to identify, expose and punish DJT supporters and anyone that dares to oppose leftist ideals. He isn’t even attempting to disguise it.

And here people have been hunting all over the internet for the Fascist's and there was one right here out in the open posting on twitter.
Erase history?  This sounds disturbingly familiar. A guy with the last name Reich wants to make sure you’re punished for thoughts he disagrees with.  The simulation is running out of ideas.

This is absolutely chilling and disgusting coming from a former high ranking government official.  Does the Good Professor really think that in this day and age of frothing at the mouth Marxist and people unwilling to object to their supporters setting buildings on fire with police inside would actually be satisfied with a just a South African type "Truth and Reconciliation Commission" for their political opponents??

In a liberal society, we can't afford to have an organization in charge of deciding what is true. If someone did set it up, it would promptly be taken over by political interests & used to force their way in society. The fact that Reich doesn't see just how evil and undemocratic this idea troubles me even more than the fact that he so freely voiced such an outrageous idea.

Will there be struggle session where people can confess their sins against the left, or everyone goes to the gulags? Will we receive barcode tattoo?

Yes! And once we've regained power and imprisoned our political enemies THEN we can do reconciliation: a program for those we've imprisoned that gives gestures of compassion in exchange for legally-binding declarations of loyalty.

We'll call the program the "Ministry of Love."

President Lizzy Wants You To Know She's Gonna Clean Up All This Crap Straight Away!!!

On the first day of Donald Trump's impeachment trial, Lizzy Warren unveiled her plan to save us all on her website under the weighty title 'Restoring Integrity and Competence to Government After Trump.' No, I'm not kiddin':
"One year from today, the next president will begin her first full day of work. She will be inheriting a government in crisis and in desperate need of immediate course correction."
That's cute how Warren refers to the next president with a feminine pronoun. What comes first in President Warren's "course correction"? Firings, and lots of them!

Lizzy said she'll ask for the resignations of all Trump's political appointees on day one of her administration. That includes 93 US attorneys. (Bush 43 fired 9 and the Liberals went absolutely ape- shit).  Feeling her inner Stalin, Lizzy plans on going after political opponents. Comrade Warren will establish a Task Force (probably lead by the lovely AG Kamala Harris) that will investigate corruption in the Trump administration and hold the guilty parties accountable.  But Warren will also keep herself honest, not just more honest than Trump because any common gangster can limbo under a low bar. Nay, her administration will "adopt the strictest anti-corruption hiring rules of any administration in all of American History in the world!!"

Right off the bat she says she'll end Obama's policy of children in cages at detention facilities that was Trump's fault, end DJT's reckless foreign policy that endangers our country by killing terrorists who threaten us and end the bigoted ban on travelers from Muslim-majority countries that breed worldwide terrorism. She'll also investigate US Border Control and Department of Homeland Security for violating Immigration laws.

President Lizzy insist her team will reflects the full diversity of America, including having at least 50% of Cabinet positions filled by women and non binary people. Even though Black women are disproportionately represented in the federal workforce and LGBTQRX people are represented across all levels of government, including in leadership roles, it don't matter.  Not diverse enough for Lizzy.  There will be recruiting from HBCUs, Tribal Colleges and Universities, and programs for federal jobs for formerly incarcerated individuals ex-convicts. And Lizzy wants to grow the government that is still bloated by reinstating government officials who left public service through a streamlined hiring process, and waive competitive hiring processes as a way of creating another generation of ambitious soft skull leftist government bureaucrats.

To bring back integrity in government, Lizzy won't employ "senior executives at companies and banks that have broken federal law, are subject to enforcement actions, or are under investigation." That basically rules out 99% of the financial industry. But she hates them anyway, so no biggie. There's always the little commie midget, Robert Reich, who fancies himself an economist who'd probably jump on his big wheel and join up in a minute!

It's not stated outright but we also assume Warren staffers won't regularly violate the Hatch Act, but democrats gonna democrat. Senior staffers will have to pledge not to accept a lobbying job after their official duties end.....and that's for life. Man, you won't catch a grift if you ever work for Warren. That should thin the potential herd down quite a bit.

Donald Trump’s presidency has been a dark period in American history according to Lizzy's website.  A government that has been infected by corruption and incompetence, and his actions as president suggest that he is likely to do everything he can to undermine the next president. Ya Know, just like the last one did.

The Left and Their 'Tin Foil Hat' Problem.

Nuttier Than Your Average Squirrel Turd - MSNBC Loonie Central's Joy Reid

by Clint Fargeau

A philosopher once observed: “If someone falsely accuses you of doing something, it’s a good bet they are doing it themselves.” Those who have the misfortune to peruse the organs of Leftist opinion will find no shortage of op-eds descrying the crazy conspiracy theories of conservatives.  Silly conservatives. Bunch of paranoid loons they are.

The barrage of leftist gaslighting over the last three years supports the philosopher's  more intellectual formulation of “He that smelt it dealt it.” Most of us are painfully familiar with the more infamous examples of conspiracy theorizing on the Left. To wit:
Donald Trump is a closet white supremacist in league with neo-nazis–like Ben Carson, a black man, and Stephen Miller, who is Jewish–to make America white again.
And on the really fruity end of the spectrum:
Jews control the weather; their nation state secretly plans to exterminate Arabs; and the whole lot of them have hypnotized the world with Hebrew mind control.
These conspiracy … “theories”, or more like “fever dreams” … spill forth not from basement bloggers in tinfoil hats but from supposedly nailed-down folk. Politicians, mainstream journalists, and (formerly) respectable intellectuals juice these lemons day after day, in defiance of common sense, hard evidence, or even a compelling pattern. Their constituents drink this sour mixture, proclaim it ambrosia, and cry for more.

The opinion leaders on the Left rail incessantly against “The Rich.” But when they say “The Rich,” they don’t mean the population with assets in excess of X million dollars. Those would just be people who happened to be rich. They mean “THE CONSPIRACY OF The Rich”–bastards who connive to suck up all the goodies. Collusion is how they got rich, not a combination of luck, intelligence, and hard work.

“Eat The Rich” cheerleaders like Robert Reich, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Elizabeth Warren talk like “The Rich” share a party line–complete with gold-plated Bat-phones–earnestly discussing as a group: “How can we keep the little guy down and murder the climate at the same time?”

Another long-running “conspiracy of” category is “White People.” Activists, politicians, and opinionators reference “(the conspiracy of) White People” on topics ranging from police shootings to NFL owners who manifestly plotted to exclude Colin Kaepernick from his rightful place chucking a ball on the TV. NFL owners can’t possibly have thought separately and individually that hiring Kaepernick–who damaged the entire league and who spouts Marxist, anti-white, anti-police garbage at every opportunity–might turn out to be a poor choice, leading to perennial headaches for any team stupid enough to toss him a jersey.

Leftist conspiracy mongers credit conservatives and Republicans with borderline-magical abilities to leverage powerful forces for sinister plots and schemes. In so doing, they have turned their constituency into a hysteria feedback movement. Their sole source of energy now appears to be: “Nazis and robber barons in the bushes! Treasons and plots! Grab your Reynolds Wrap and prepare for resistance!”

Perhaps most odd from a conservative viewpoint is that many of the “conspiracies” Leftist opinion makers “uncover” are open, commonly held beliefs on the Right. Opinion makers on the Left don’t listen to conservatives. Then, stumbling upon conservatives’ openly expressed views, they mischaracterize those beliefs as hidden and secret motives. The devious plotter living in every conservative means that nothing they say may be accepted at face value. The devious plotter living in every conservative means that nothing they say may be accepted at face value.

Francis Wilkinson’s hilariously ignorant opinion piece in Bloomberg exemplifies the left's paranoia at work. Wilkinson’s title– "The True Aim of the Gun Sanctuary Movement", Wilkinson theorizes that Second Amendment advocates (or as he calls them the “guns-everywhere-for anybody movement”) don’t *really* believe in the Constitution; they just want to subvert the American majority.

*Sigh*. Okay Francis, you got us. Conservatives really don’t believe in the wisdom of the Constitution, that bit of “legal finery.” We are conspiring in secret to give every felon, child, and psychiatric inmate an AR-15 and turn cities into dystopian slaughterhouses. Darn it. We almost snuck that one by, but Wilkinson was too smart for us.

A note to the Guns-Everywhere-for-Everybody Cabal: we will not meet this Friday, because Wilkinson’s column has made us sad and angry. But next Friday, come with your best ideas to trick the Left into believing we support the constitutional right to self-, home, and community defense on its merits. We will meet in room 302, right next to the Evil Jewish Bankers Who Control Everything Society.

From His Booster Seat Robert Reich Proclaims "The Left is Now the 'Center' of American Politics."

Former Clinton Administration Labor Secretary, Robert B. Reich

The last time we visited one of our favorite kickball of the past, Robert Reich, he was on the CNN spouting crazy, claiming the anti-Trump campus unrest of 2017 were actually a right-wing plot to delegitimize liberals. Needless to say, we had a field day with that one. So much so, one DMF reader humorously accused me of abusing short people. But undeterred, today we visited Dr. Reich's site to see what leftist craziness has infected his overly active political imagination. He didn't disappoint.
"Donald Trump, Fox News, and Republicans in Congress label proposals they disagree with “fringe,” “radical,” or “socialist.” Well, let’s see where the American people actually stand:
"On the economy, 76 percent of Americans favor higher taxes on the super-rich, including over half of registered Republicans. Over 60 percent favor a wealth tax on fortunes of $50 million or more."
Here he cites a Morning Consultant Poll, commissioned by the left leaning Politico magazine. It plays into the childish jealousy of the rich most have buried deep inside. Dr. Reich believes higher taxes and punishing wealth is an answer. When in fact, a wealth Tax is just another Socialist Utopian talking point that drives money offshore and not available business expansions.  If 10% is good enough for God, it's certainly good enough for the Federal gov.
"What about health care? Well, 70 percent want Medicare for All, which most define as Medicare for anyone who wants it. 60 percent of Republicans support allowing anyone under 65 to buy into Medicare...."
Here he cites a HarrisX poll of only 1,000 respondents. Of course, this was before the recent debates when the Democrats all vowed to give free healthcare to the entire refugee population of the Western hemisphere. It would be interesting to re-poll those same respondents now. I believe the number would drastically change.
"92 percent want lower prescription drug prices. Over 70 percent think we should be able to buy drugs imported from Canada."
Well DUH! This could and should have become a reality when the ironically name "Affordable Care Act" was written? Where was the Good Dr. when his party rammed down our throats their genus plan. In reality, Barky Obama threw a bone to the Pharmaceutical Industry bypassing this little piece, the most expensive part of anyone's non-surgical healthcare. Oh, and did I mention that despite all the talk of evil money back then, Big Pharma were large contributors to Barky's reelection campaign in 2012. Just sayin."
"On family issues, more than 80 percent of Americans want paid maternity leave. 79 percent of voters want more affordable child care."
Another Well DUH! Paid Maternity leave is something no one should argue with. Newborns need their nurturin'. The lack of nurturing by two parents is more than evident in the streets of any American city today.  It should be a responsibility of any employer to provide this to working mother's and fathers as part of a health care package if available. I do, and at little extra cost. But the fore mentioned child care, Free government funded day cares are in the minds of the Dr. Reich's, and would be like any liberal programs do, eventually degenerate into non-working Tameka dropping off her chilren to go hang with the gurls at the nail salon at our expense.  The last thing America needs is a Government employee as a babysitter. Generous TAX CREDITS (I know that is a bad word in his world) is the answer so WORKING parents can afford to choose who cares for the little ones.
"60 percent of Americans support free college tuition for those who meet income requirements."
Here he quotes from a glowing Reuters news story about the progressive movement. No actual link to this statement in the story so the number quoted can't be verified. In our culture, free college admissions will do to Higher Ed what medicare did for healthcare. It works in Europe, but is very selective. And that won't work here. No one ever asks why Universities like Harvard have billions in endowments, but cost so much to go there?? So like with the inception of Medicare & Medicaid, prices will rise quickly because the government treasure door is wide open.
"62% think climate change is man-made and needs addressing."
It's useless to address this point to a true believer even after all the nonsense that has been exposed in relation to observation of natural earth changes as opposed to the actual evidence. His number is lifted from the Yale Climate Change Communication program. No bias there I'm sure. It's interesting to note that approximately the same number believe in life on other planets, and more than half of them believe in UFO's.
"84 percent think money has too much influence in politics. 77 percent support limits on campaign spending."
I totally agree with Little Robert on this point. Labor unions extort millions from the members to give to democrat political campaigns and lobbyist, our taxpayers money in the millions are granted to organization such as Plan Parenthood, who in turn flood democrat candidates campaigns, and throw expensive events for their benefits.  And let's not forget the massive amounts of dark money from the slugs of the world like George Soros, that oozes into our  politics to elect leftist race compassionate district attorneys, and judges who are deciding the fate of America society, and bolstering the elections of  useful Idiots like AOC.  Yes Mr. Reich, we agree on this one.
"So why do the powerful call these policy ideas “fringe,” or “radical,” or “socialist?” Money. Many of these initiatives would cost them – requiring either higher taxes or regulations that might cut into their corporate profits. But just remember: the “center” is not halfway between what most Americans want and what Wall Street, and the super-wealthy want. The “center” is what the vast majority of Americans want. Left is Now the "Center" of American Politics."
Yes, Dr. Reich, Americans do see our flaws as a society. But I don't think we are ready to go the way of you and your nitwit socialist friend's one size fits all, bigger government way of thinking. Long memories will reveal that it was primarily leftist ideas and your party that created most of America's ills as they are today.

I'm sure you are a fine fellow, and still riding that title 'Mr. Secretary'. And I bet quite wealthy yourself, cushy job and all in that booster chair at the leftist utopia UC Berkely. But as I half-assed proof read this post, I was reminded of the words of the sassy wise next door neighbor 'Wonllna' of the ancient Television series 'Good Times'..... "NIGGER PLEASE!"

Did Obama Ever Condemn By Name BLM Violence and Murder?

"Don’t wait for Donald Trump to condemn it. He unleashed it."- Robert Reich
______________________________________

Barack Obama, or '44' as he is known in much of the black community, was the embodiment of a hyper-racialist, if not overtly racist worldview.  During His presidency as we were reminded over and over and over was defined by the fact that he was the first black president. His high appointments and general attitude further pushed this narrative.

It was clear that Obama saw the world in terms of "his crowd" and the “clingers” or “deplorables” or “tea baggers” or whatever divisive term you choose. US and THEM.

It is Obama who laid the foundation for much of the unrest we’ve seen recently.  It is he who picked a civil scab of a wound that had started to heal (or at least was well on its way.) But Obama wanted to prove a point and so he lowered the level of civil discourse again to the level of tribalism.

It is he, not Trump, that I see as the facilitator of the murderous stupidity we see now. Obama gave safe harbor to politically correct tribalist thinking, to US versus THEM thinking, to zero sum politics.  And now we are surprised that a bunch of white people bought into the same vile mental dreck?   This is what happens when one lets the tribalist monster out into the countryside

When Obama got in trouble politically he went quickly to his base to survive. In so doing he inflamed racial issues and then to some degree, Trump capitalized on the racial flames burning with some whites who were marginalized by Obama and were told that this wasn’t their country any longer.

It wasn’t that Obama was black. It was that Obama subscribed to a big government, again, zero sum politics, highly radicalized politics. Instead of embracing the idea that we as American people of various ethnic backgrounds could grow closer together and also grow the economic pie together, Obama demonized much of America. And the demonized people naturally resented it. Some people, sadly, tragically, were radicalized along racial lines. But in Obama’s world, a world of Alinskyite community organization, of deep political correctness, this was a good thing. Easier to identify the “enemy.”

No, the ugly plant that burst forth on Saturday was not sewn by Trump, it was sewn long ago, but given new life by Trump’s predecessor, '44'.

James Hodgkinson: Primed By Hate, Triggered By the Media

Hodgkinson: "One of my favorite TV shows is “The Rachel Maddow Show” on MSNBC."

It comes as no surprise to me that after months of media drum banging, comedians portrayed holding a severed head and plays depicting political assassinations, etc... that someone on the left would go over the edge. I really didn't expect it to be a middle aged white guy though. I guess it shows just how deep the hate has become on the left.

James Hodgkinson, the Belleville man accused of shooting at congressmen and aides during practice for a congressional baseball game today, had written a number of letters over the years to the editor of the Belleville News-Democrat. In them, he often railed against hateful Republicans and tax policies.

He seemed obsessed about income equality. He was a fan of little left-wing midget Professor Robert Reich and his
pseudo-socialist economics, who has recently stopped just short of calling for violence resistance. And no surprise either, he is a big fan of Ricky Maddow and his progtard friends at MSNBC riding their popular anti-Trump media wave of fake news exploitation.

Here's a few quotes:
"The best book I’ve read in a while is “Aftershock” by Robert B. Reich."
"I don’t believe all of the messages on Fox News but I still think they get some of it right. Change channels to MSNBC and get a better, balanced opinion. One of my favorite TV shows is “The Rachel Maddow Show” on MSNBC."
"As for my loving President Obama, I say when people look at the other side, the choice is obvious."
"It’s time for the Republican congressmen to grow up. Maybe if they weren’t so full of hate, they could see what they are doing to this country"
"I believe that anyone who increases his wealth in time of war is a war profiteer, and as such should be brought up on such charges. I also believe this includes President Bush, Vice President Cheney, most of their cabinet, all the people of Halliburton and anyone in the oil business. These people should pay for the crime of war profiteering and being traitors to their country."
Today we witnessed what a steady dose of left-wing hate and ideology does to the human brain. And what can happen when ones hate and misunderstanding of the facts can do...... Primed by Hate, Triggered by the Media.

Kicking the Little Professor in the Nuts Again

Robert Reich Weighs in on  the Firing of Comey

One of our favorite kickballs Dr. Robert Reich, the twisted little troll leftover from another time, speaks his mind on the firing of FBI Director. And as usual, takes the dire propaganda low road.
Are There 22 Patriotic House Republicans?
"Trump warning to former FBI Director James Comey against leaking anything negative about him – tweeting “James Comey better hope that there are no ‘tapes’ of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press!” – is deeply troubling."
First Professor, you are running with the media's assumption Trump was WARNING Comey about saying anything negative about him, when it actually sounds like he was advising Comey not lie about the details of the conversation because it may just have been taped. Do not assume Donald Trump is Stupid.
"The core issue here is not whether Trump is secretly recording his meetings or telephone calls (Trump and his White House aides refuse to say whether he tapes his visitors, something he was suspected of doing when he was in business in New York). The real issues are these: (1) The illegality of a President of the United States seeking to intimidate a potential witness in a congressional investigation. (2) The illegality of a President potentially intimidating current FBI personnel who are investigating that president or his aides, by firing the former FBI head who was leading such an investigation and now threatening retaliation against him. These illegal acts cannot be ignored."
Again Dr Reich, where do you get that Trump is intimidating anyone by saying there could be a tape of what he and Director Comey discussed?  Why would Trump suggest the meeting was taped and open himself up to a supoena if he possibly had something to hide?

And as you should know, as your former boss did himself, the President has the authority to appoint or fire the FBI director. Your use of the word 'Intimidation' is just bomb throwing hyperbole, unless it's an admission of why Bill Clinton fired his FBI director investigating a potential scandal. Eh, Dr Bob? Again, Do Not Assume Donald Trump is Stupid.

As for taping conversations and telephone calls in the oval Office, it is well known there was, and probably still are recording devices in the Oval Office. But I can understand the way you think, being just a Secretary of Labor, I doubt anything you and Bill Clinton discussed could have in anyway been considered sensitive and for your ears only.  It is well known, as it should be to you, that certain types of meets with government officials, such as security briefings, do not take place in the Oval Office. Ever wonder why, Dr. Reich?

And NO ONE ever accused JFK, LBJ or Nixon or any President since of it being a crime by recording the events in the oval Office. It was done for the record and to document the facts of discussions for further review for those outside the meetings.  THE RECORDINGS ARE IN THEIR LIBRARYS!
"We are facing a constitutional crisis potentially larger and more significant than Richard Nixon’s “Watergate.” As long as Donald Trump remains president, our governing institutions are threatened. The question now is whether there exist 22 House Republicans whose loyalty to the United States exceeds their loyalty to the Republican Party, who would join with House Democrats in seeking a bill of impeachment."
Good, good. Repeat that 'Watergate' thing. The only crisis we face is in the media and the left going full retard calling for impeachment day in and day out ever time Donald Trump moves a finger. The propaganda machine of the media and Butt Hurt Dems have become a disgrace, and lost all credibility they had left after coddling the former corrupt administration. You can join the rest of the loonies in the impeachment choir, Dr Reich, just be careful not to get stepped on.

But Do Not Assume Donald Trump is Stupid.

The Midget Climbs Up Into Maxine Waters Territory

It's a bit scary when a supposed learned Professor and former Presidential Cabinet Member lowers himself (in this case climbs up) to the rhetorical level of crazy-ass Maxine Waters. But that's just what Robert Reich seems to have done. In a recent column Reich lays out his reasons Donald Trump should be impeached. And only after a little over two months in office. Let's take a look at the good Doctor's reasoning, shall we........
"By my count, there are now four grounds to impeach Donald Trump. The fifth appears to be on its way.
First, in taking the oath of office, a president promises to “faithfully execute the laws & the constitution.” That’s Article II Section 2. But Trump is unfaithfully executing his duties as president by accusing his predecessor, president Obama, of undertaking an illegal and impeachable act, with absolutely no evidence to support the accusation."
No evidence, Huh? You who yell about the Russian thing with no creditable evidence. Maybe you should keep your eyes on the news. The actions taken by your boy Barky at the end of his administration, along with the Susan Rice investigation may just yet have you and a lot of lefties wiping egg off your face. The Obama Administration will long be known for it's scandals, scandals you turned a blind eye to in your partisanship.

The president also swears to Protect and Defend the Constitution Against Enemies, Both Foreign and Domestic. Of course, no matter what truth comes out I'm sure you will deny it as propaganda of the far right..........and with absolutely no evidence to support the accusation.
"Second, Article I Section 9 of the Constitution forbids government officials from taking things of value from foreign governments. But Trump is making big money off his Trump International Hotel by steering foreign diplomatic delegations to it, and will make a bundle off China’s recent decision to grant his trademark applications for the Trump brand – decisions Chinese authorities arrived at directly because of decisions Trump has made as president."
Bob, Mr. Trump, like all presidents, have put his personal interest into trust. And Trump's interest are run by his children while in office. Sure he will eventually gain from it, just as every private citizen/former president does. I don't remember you having a problem with Barky raking in the big buck residuals from his books while in office......hmmm. Elected as a backbench senator, he left office a multi-millionaire.

As for the Chinese trademark deal, it was a decade old request and the decision to rule in Trump’s favor predates his election as president.  You know, the election no one believed he could win.
"Third: The 1st Amendment to the Constitution bars any law “respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” But Trump’s ban on travel into the United States from 6 muslim countries – which he initiated, advocated for, and oversees – violates that provision."
Least we forget, Bob, the list of concerned countries that the Trump administration outlined in the executive order was based on the one signed into law in Dec. 2015 by the former Obama administration. And for the same reason, anti-terrorism! Where were you and your ACLU cohorts then?
"Fourth: The 1st Amendment also bars “abridging the freedom of the press.” But Trump’s labeling the press “the enemy of the people,” and choosing who he invites to news conferences based on whether they’ve given him favorable coverage, violates this provision."
The press has indeed become a threat to America. They refuse to tell the truth and actively protect corrupt politicians. And you Dr. Reich, having been in the WH. should know that the Presidential Administration has the right to grant or deny credentials to anyone they wish. Press conferences are not set in law. They are a tradition. If a news agency is there to ask tough questions so be it. But to lie about, or twist the words of the administration policy or just to be instigators, they themselves dampen the whole free press' abilities to report the truth, and the president to effectively speak to the nation.
"A fifth possible ground if the evidence is there: Article II Section 3 of the Constitution defines “treason against the United States” as “adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.” Evidence is mounting that Trump and his aides colluded with Russian operatives to win the 2016 presidential election. Presidents can be impeached for what the Constitution calls “high crimes and misdemeanors.” The question is no longer whether there are grounds to impeach Trump. The practical question is whether there’s the political will."
What High Crimes and Misdemeanor? Treason? SHOW US THE PROOF. All you have here is the rumors propitiated by the media and Democrats in congress. The fact someone spied on the DNC and not Trump doesn't mean they were in cahoots to steal an election! And NO ONE has proved the Russians even did the spying in question in the first place. It's got CIA written all over it

Dr. Bob, perhaps you and your lunatic friend  Maxine should have a nice lunch together and come up with a better list. So far, just fog. No smoke, No fire.

As If You Really Needed Anymore Evidence the Little Midget is off the Rails....

Dr. Robert Reich

We all know by now the little midget and former Clinton administration cabinet member, Robert Reich, long ago went off the rails and now teaches the young minds of America at the cesspool of UC Berkeley. Even after having the Tinker-belle balls to call for 100 days of Resistance, the good Doctor went on the Crazy News Network and called the rioters in Berkeley "Secret Right-Wingers."

On CNN Thursday,  Reich suggested the anti-Trump riots on campus were actually a right-wing plot to delegitimize liberals.

Really Dr. Reich?  No, you little leftist squirrel, you and people like you who called for all out resistance to a duly elected President of the United States even before he took office are responsible for all this fascist crap, regardless who they are and who is paying them. We can only imagine what you and the pinheads haters in the media would have said if people who were really on the right had called for the same resistance and caused violence because of a newly elected President in 2008.

The Midget Unveils His First 100 Days of Trump Resistance Agenda

ROBERT REICH SEEN HERE DISCUSSING ECONOMICS WITH A RECENT.......DATE

The little midget is at it again. He intends to turn his mighty powers against Donald Trump's first 100 day's with a call to all to adopt his Trump resistance agenda. According to Reich, Trump’s First 100 Day plan includes repealing environmental regulations, Obamacare, and the Dodd-Frank Act, giving the evil rich a huge tax cut, and much worse.......

Here’s the details of his 'Resistance Agenda':
1. Get Democrats in the Congress and across the country to pledge to oppose Trump’s agenda. Prolong the process of approving choices, draw out hearings, stand up as sanctuary cities and states. Take a stand. Call your senator and your representative (phone calls are always better than writing).
2. March and demonstrate—in a coordinated, well-managed way. The “1 Million Women March” is already scheduled for the Inauguration —and will be executed with real skill.   There will be “sister” marches around the country—in LA and elsewhere. They need to be coordinated and orchestrated. And then? 1 Million Muslims? 1 Million Latinos? What would keep the momentum alive and keep the message going?
3. Boycott all Trump products, real estate, hotels, resorts, everything. And then boycott all stores (like Nordstrom) that carry merchandise from Trump family brands.
4. Letters to Editors: A national letter-writing campaign, from people all over the country, every walk of life and every level of society, from celebrities to sports heroes to grassroots Americans. In most papers, the Letters to the Editor section is the most-read part of the paper.
5. Op-Eds: A steady flow of arguments about the fallacies and dangers of Trump’s First 100 Day policies and initiatives, from name-brand thinkers and doers to ordinary folk writing for their city’s or community’s newspaper.
6. Social media: What about a new YouTube channel devoted to video testimonials about resisting Trump’s First 100 Day Agenda? Crowd-sourced ideas, themes and memes. Who wants to start it?
7. Website containing up-to-date daily bulletins on what actions people are planning around the country, and where, so others can join in. Techies, get organized.
8. Investigative journalism: We need investigative journalists to dig into the backgrounds of all of Trump’s appointees, in the White House, the Cabinet, Ambassadors and judges.
9. Lawsuits: Our version of “Drill, baby, drill” is “Sue, baby, sue.” Throw sand in the gears. Lawyers, get organized.
10. Coordinated fund-raising: Rather than having every public-interest group appeal on their own, have a coordinated fundraising program to fill the coffers of the most endangered and effective opposition groups. Is there a way to do a televised fundraiser with celebrities raising money for the Resistance?
11. Symbolic opposition: Safety pins are already appearing. What else? What more? Make the resistance visible with bumper stickers, a label pin, a branding campaign that has great language, great logo, great wrist band (remember the Lance Armstrong “Livestrong” yellow wrist band—it sold millions!).
12. Intellectual opposition: Take Trump on where he’s weakest—with serious ideas. I’ll try to do my part. You do yours, too.
13. Serious accountability: Establish performance metrics to evaluate his delivery on his campaign promises. An updated web site of promises made and not kept. This is one especially suited to public policy students.
The First 100 Days Resistance Agenda. We’re not going away.
Yeah, we know your not going away anytime soon. Neither did that persistent cough I had last time I had a cold, until I gave it a good dose of medicine.....

The Little Troll Climbs Down From the Ivory Tower to Gain Some Real World Wisdom and Discernment

Former Clinton Admin. Secretary of Labor Robert Reich

I've just returned from three weeks in “red” America. It was ostensibly a book tour but I wanted to talk with conservative Republicans and Tea Partiers.

I wanted to learn from red America, and hoped they’d also learn a bit from me (and perhaps also buy my book).  But something odd happened. It turned out that many of the conservative Republicans and Tea Partiers I met agreed with much of what I had to say, and I agreed with them.

For example, most condemned what they called “crony capitalism,” by which they mean big corporations getting sweetheart deals from the government because of lobbying and campaign contributions.  I met with a group of small farmers in Missouri who were livid about growth of “factory farms” owned and run by big corporations, that abused land and cattle, damaged the environment, and ultimately harmed consumers.  They claimed giant food processors were using their monopoly power to squeeze the farmers dry, and the government was doing squat about it because of Big Agriculture’s money.

I met in Cincinnati with Republican small-business owners who are still hurting from the bursting of the housing bubble and the bailout of Wall Street. “Why didn’t underwater homeowners get any help?” one of them asked rhetorically. “Because Wall Street has all the power.” Others nodded in agreement. Whenever I suggested that big Wall Street banks be busted up – “any bank that’s too big to fail is too big, period” – I got loud applause.

In Kansas City I met with Tea Partiers who were angry that hedge-fund managers had wangled their own special “carried interest” tax deal.  “No reason for it,” said one. “They’re not investing a dime of their own money. But they’ve paid off the politicians.”

In Raleigh, I heard from local bankers who thought Bill Clinton should never have repealed the Glass-Steagall Act. “Clinton was in the pockets of Wall Street just like George W. Bush was,” said one. Most are also dead-set against the Trans Pacific Partnership. In fact, they’re opposed to trade agreements, including NAFTA, that they believe have made it easier for corporations to outsource American jobs abroad.

A surprising number think the economic system is biased in favor of the rich. (That’s consistent with a recent Quinnipiac poll in which 46 percent of Republicans believe “the system favors the wealthy.”)

The more conversations I had, the more I understood the connection between their view of “crony capitalism” and their dislike of government. They don’t oppose government per se. In fact, as the Pew Research Center has found, more Republicans favor additional spending on Social Security, Medicare and education than want to cut those programs. Rather, they see Big Government as the vehicle for corporations and Wall Street to exert their power in ways that hurt the little guy.

I also began to understand why many of them are attracted to Donald Trump. I had assumed they were attracted by Trump’s blunderbuss.  But mostly, I think, they see Trump as someone who’ll stand up for them – a countervailing power against the perceived conspiracy of big corporations, Wall Street, and big government.

Trump isn’t saying what the moneyed interests in the GOP want to hear. He’d impose tariffs on American companies that send manufacturing overseas, for example.  He’d raise taxes on hedge-fund managers. (“The hedge-fund guys didn’t build this country,” Trump says. “They’re “getting away with murder.”)

He’d protect Social Security and Medicare.  I kept hearing “Trump is so rich he can’t be bought.” Heartland Republicans and progressive Democrats remain wide apart on social and cultural issues.  But there’s a growing overlap on economics.

The populist upsurge is real.

ROBERT B. REICH is Chancellor’s Professor of Public Policy at the University of California at Berkeley and Senior Fellow at the Blum Center for Developing Economies, was Secretary of Labor in the Clinton administration.

The Little Troll on Raising of The Minimum Wage

Who would you fire, Professor Reich?
As far as I can tell, Robert Reich has never held a job in the free market. He is an academic who occasionally works in the government. There is nothing wrong with that. His new book is “Saving Capitalism: For the Many, Not the Few.”
In a recent post online, "The Morality of a $15 Minimum," Reich tried to make the moral case for raising the minimum wage to $30,000 a year, which happen to be slightly above the median wage in America. Actually, using his logic, we should eliminate minimum wage.
After conceding that raising the minimum wage to $30,000 a year will cost people their jobs, Robert Reich wrote:
"Yet maybe some jobs are worth risking if a strong moral case can be made for a $15 minimum."
Really? Whose jobs should be lost? Who is so insignificant -- so unworthy in the eyes of this man -- so tiny that they do not deserve a job?
Because that is what he is saying.
He is a socialist -- oh, hell, a communist -- who reduces people to mere statistics, which makes it easy to say some jobs can be sacrificed for the greater "good."
And yes, liberal is progressive is socialist is communist. They believe in the state -- the government -- over God and man.
