Y'all have Yourselves a Happy Thanksgiving, Hear.

"There is one day that is ours. Thanksgiving Day is the one day that is purely American." - O. Henry

Despite our present political atmosphere, as someone who spent most of their early life living in Europe, believe me when I say: We as Americans have much to be thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving from DMF!

Ingrate UCLA Shoplifter's Dad Gets Roasted Like a Thanksgiving Turkey

Another Perfect Example of 'Money Can't Buy You Class'

DT - The loudmouthed, self-promoting father of one of the three UCLA basketball team shoplifters that President Trump helped spring from a future in a Chinese jail continues to redefine the word ingrate. Los Angeles sports personality and CEO of the pricey Big Baller brand of athletic shoes LaVar Ball has been engaged in a running war of words with the POTUS who he refuses to give credit to for the freedom of his son LiAngelo who he doesn’t seem to have been a good role model for since the young thug is stealing to begin with.

Ball has continued to make an ass out of himself, even saying that the only way that he would have thanked Trump is if he would have given the young hoodlum a ride home on Air Force One. Ball’s antics have gotten him plenty of face time in the media to promote his overpriced shoes and allowed some of the more degenerate race baiters like Shaun King to insanely claim that “ungrateful” is now the equivalent to the dreaded N word.

King and the rest of the instigators will have plenty to wail about now because Trump just roasted Bell like a Thanksgiving turkey in a Wednesday morning Twitter strike:

Trump is absolutely spot on here, China is not exactly famous for being a global champion of human rights and young Bell and his fellow petty criminals may very well have faced years in a Chinese prison had he not appealed to President Xi Jinping for leniency. LaVar Bell is not only an ungrateful jerk but an arrogant egomaniac who like so many others, can’t accept the results of a legitimate election.

Nations Atheist Prepare To Offer Heartfelt Thanks To Random, Uncaring Universe On Thanksgiving

Again this year the nation's atheist are preparing to humbly show gratitude to the cold, mechanical processes that randomly led to mankind’s existence and their own fleeting lives this Thanksgiving.  They will bow their head silently before partaking in their family’s extravagant Thanksgiving feast Thursday evening to give thanks to the meaningless, cold, inconsequential universe; that vast and ancient universe that doesn’t care at all whether they live or die, for the blind, heartless processes that inevitably led them to eat this great feast, and thank those who died instead of their ancestors, so that they would be selected to survive in an endless, cruel cycle of natural selection that allows once again to enjoy bounty of celebration.

They will be  truly humbled to be able to partake in this futile tradition at least one more year before their inevitable demise and descent into the great black Lovecraftian void beyond.

Maxine Water's Liberal Champion of Women Got Some Real 'Splainin To Do

Rep. John Conyers Jr? Come on down! You’re the next contestant on the media extravaganza where hypocritical liberal creepy old dudes try to weasel their way out of sexual harassment claims. The fact that Conyers is the head of the Office of Compliance, which is supposed to oversee incidents of abuse, things get a lot more interesting.

Conyers, the ranking Democrat on the powerful House Judiciary Committee, repeatedly made sexual advances to female staff that included requests for sex acts, contacting and transporting other women with whom they believed Conyers was having affairs, caressing their hands sexually, and rubbing their legs and backs in public.

Looks Like Hillary Lost Another One

Thank You Pookie for the Linkage!

NYT's Walter Winchell Want-To-Be Gets Laid Low

Look at Me. I'm the Media. I'm Cool. I Got A Hat

DT - Liberal hypocrites continue to be exposed as the dishonest poseurs that they have always been and another leftist “reporter” has taken a fall on Monday. New York Times White House correspondent Glenn Thrush – formerly of Politico – has been sidelined by his newspaper after reports that he busted a move on a young female reporter.

Thrush has been at the tip of the spear of the anti-Trump propaganda that is put out by the Times and his loss puts a crimp in the assembly line of tales based on leakage of classified information from Obama loyalists as well as regurgitated sleaze left over from the 2016 presidential campaign.
"Just weeks ago, Thrush posted a Facebook note blasting political journalist Mark Halperin over allegations of sexual misconduct against young female journalists. He stated, “Young people who come into a newsroom deserve to be taught our trade, given our support and enlisted in our calling — not betrayed by little men who believe they are bigger than the mission.
But apparently, Thrush has a habit of going drinking with young female journalists, then attempting to kiss them — and then later telling members of the newsroom that they came onto him."
Vox has additional details as well as damning screenshots of Thrush’s social media activity HERE.  The reporter is such a player that he even is featured in sketches on Saturday Night Live and was revealed in the WikiLeaks cache of emails from John Podesta as coordinating his coverage with the known Washington sleazeball and Clinton campaign manager.

No one expects people to be Simon pure but if you make a living out of writing less than honest stories that are intended to destroy others personally, then you better not shit in your own nest. Thrush is learning this now and his name will forever be mud after this. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy either.

I Wonder If Waking Up Stupid Everyday is Really Painful

Student Claims Access To The Outdoors Is Now A Form Of White Supremacy.

I ask you dear reader; do you love the great outdoors? Do you find a short walk in the woods or dropping a fishing hook in the water relaxing? Well, if you do, it’s probably because you’re white, according to a student at Claremont Colleges in California. That’s right. In a recent op-ed in the student-ran newspaper, a student and keen observer of societal evolution named Malcolm McCann claimed that non-white people are excluded from the outdoors because of, yes, White Supremacy.
“Due to the predominance of whiteness in the outdoors, people of color have been denied access to the outdoors.”

Yes. McCann seems to take issue with outdoor programs at Claremont, which is a conglomerate of five colleges known as the “5Cs.” Those programs, McCann argued, are the most funded on campus, yet are saturated with white supremacy.  McCann admitted the clubs are open for all people, no matter the color of someone’s skin, but not everyone feels safe to attend.
“Historically, white people in imperialist conquests have appropriated land as their own. North America rightfully belongs to indigenous communities, yet it has been taken away from them by force. Consequently, a false sense of ownership of nature permeates white America.”
McCann then goes on to take issue with the “image of modern outdoor enthusiasts,” which he claimed is of white men. “The image of the ‘outdoorsy individual’ is an exclusive classification that gives white people the authority to venture into the outdoors freely, leaving people of color behind."

But there aren’t just “racial barriers” that prevent non-white people from stepping outside but also financial barriers. Only people with “economic privilege” can participate in outdoors activities and understand “obscure outdoor lingo.”

When you stop laughing, here are this brilliant observer of america society solutions to the problem........
- Affirming that nature belongs to all humans, not just white ones.
- The “image” of the outdoor enthusiast should not “belong” to just white people.
- White people should “exert caution as to not dominate ownership” of the word “outdoorsy.”
- Outdoor clubs on college campuses should work to increase accessibility and help people learn the skills they will need.
Outdoor Unskilled People of Color in Their Natural Habitat

No, No, No you freakin' white self-loathing snowflake! It's got NOTHING more to do with race or white supremacy then where the rain falls.  It's all about CULTURE! Nothing but CULTURE! Get a Clue.......and grow up!

See Ya Butch. Thanks For Playing

LSU vs. TENNESSEE
6PM  CT - ESPN

Saturday the LSU Tigers travel to Rocky Top to face the Tennessee Volunteers. The 4-6 Vols fired Butch Jones after last weeks lost to a Mizzou. I kinda hate to see that.  I always though Coach Butch looked like a Football coach should look like. And you could just tell, if he could, he was ready at a moments notice to thrown down the headset, grab a helmet and check in as an extra blocker on 4th and 1.

That's what makes this game in Knoxville, and the Vols dangerous. The Tigers are fully aware what changing coaches during a season can do to a team. They were in the same position early last year.  For them, it worked out well.  After the firing of Les Miles for the Tigers failing to play with any confidence and up to their talent level, coach O' was given the keys to the Tiger Cage and in the next 3 games the Tigers went on a tear, scored 125 pts while shutting down 3 of the top 15 passing offenses in the nation, giving up only 38 pts.

The Vols have nothing to lose Saturday, their season is all but over. But home field advantage as well as a renewed hope and a chance to redeem themselves as a team is what could makes the Vols dangerous!

If not, #5 & #28 might just rip them for 250 yds rushing.

But thanks for playin' the SEC game, Butch. I at least hope they gave you the Madden Home Edition as a consolation prize.

I say Tigers by 20+

* I've had no time to preview any games this week and not even sure who is playing who, so I will not make any predictions this week with the exception that Bucky the Badger is on Upset Alert.

Leftist Based Instinct

It’s not the chant: “No Trump, No KKK, No Fascist USA!” that is foremost in the minds of the progressive-left. That’s just the one they send snowflake screechers out to grab public attention when screaming helplessly at the night sky.  The never-ending mantra of the progressive-left is: “Hey, Hey!”, “Ho,” Ho!” Donald Trump has got to go!”  That’s the chant that’s their driving force, the one they mindlessly repeat to themselves as they go about their shady business; the chant they plan to scream without end after they’ve managed to bring the Harvey Weinstein, Roy Moore sexual harassment charges back onto President Donald Trump, the last one before the “IMPEACH HIM!” finale, which has been their intention all along.

They’re likely out hunting for Trump sexual harassment victims right now, grooming them down to a ’T’ before parading them out for introduction by a waiting and pre-prepped mainstream media. - Read More

Police Bodycam Advocates Now Claim Body Cameras Are
'Threat To Civil Rights'

BLM- Civil rights advocates demanded accountability from law enforcement agencies through the use of bodycams in the wake of the Ferguson riots. Police departments nationwide implemented bodycams at considerable expense to satisfy their critics and provide more “transparency” in law enforcement.  The result? A new report from The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights said that bodycams pose a “threat to civil rights.”

The report, “The Illusion of Accuracy: How Body-Worn Camera Footage Can Distort Evidence," was released on Tuesday, according to Newsweek.  A big concern listed in the report is an officer's ability to watch the footage whenever they want, including before they write incident reports. “Unrestricted footage review places civil rights at risk and undermines the goals of transparency and accountability," Vanita Gupta, current leader of the Leadership Conference, a civil rights attorney, former ACLU director, and former acting assistant attorney general of the civil rights division under former President Obama.

The report claimed that an officer's memory of an event may be altered by watching bodycam video footage, and reports written by the officer about the incident would then also be altered. The problem appears to be that defense attorneys can't pick at minor differences between an officer's memory and what's recorded on video.  It’s also a potent tool for exonerating officers falsely accused of misconduct.

The Leadership Conference called for police departments to institute "a clean reporting policy” where an officer would write an initial report before viewing the footage. Some policing experts, such as Lance LoRusso, disagree. LoRusso, a former police officer and current Atlanta attorney who represents police officers, said that police officers should view the body-cam footage before writing a report. "This specter that every time an officer looks at the video they’re going to lie and adapt their statement just is infuriating because we want the officers to write the most accurate report they can,” he said. Since one major purpose of bodycam footage is to keep all parties involved honest and “transparent,” the Leadership Conference’s one-sided approach doesn’t make any sense.

Civil rights groups don’t have a problem with bodycam footage until it’s used to exonerate a police officer, or shows that suspects and victims have threatened police, or behaved badly during a recorded incident. At that point, bodycams become a threat to civil and constitutional rights, according to Gupta’s assessment.

The Cult of Liberalism in Action. You Must Conform!

No sooner had men's magazine GQ disgraced itself with its choice of cover heroes again by naming the the left's prince of grievance Colon Kaepernick, “Citizen of the Year”, than women's magazine Marie Claire decided to say “Hold my beer” and offer up this tweet:

Now, I do not follow Taylor Swift, listen to her music and couldn’t pick one of her tunes out of a police lineup. But I know that she is phenomenally successful, and as such the Cult of Liberalism is demanding she throw in with the rest of the celebrity mob on behalf of liberalism, or “explain” why she didn’t.  I think conformity with liberalism is in all of their union contracts. I guess the left thinks if Swift had come out forcefully against Trump (which would give a whole new meaning to Swift-boating), it would have swayed some of those dumb white voters in Wisconsin or something.

Needless to say, this ham-handedness unleashed a glorious torrent of sarcastic abuse directed at Marie Claire and the Cult of the Left. Here's just a sample from the Tweeter:

Beyond this well-deserved mockery is a deeper and more serious lesson, only hinted at by calling liberalism a secular cult. Almost all social phenomena have become politicized, and almost all social problems are assumed to have only political solutions.........where once individuals saw their problems as private and sought private solutions for them, now they seek political solutions.

Media Can't Cover the Bob Menendez Trial Because Trump!

If you didn't already know about it you'd probably have no idea watching the national media that a sitting Democrat Sleazeball Senator was currently at the center of a massive corruption and bribery trial. That's because the trial has enjoyed what amounts to a media blackout since it began.

Here's how the charges were (briefly) laid out by the Washington Post:
Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) was indicted on federal corruption charges Wednesday, accused of using the influence of his office to advance the business interests of a longtime friend and political supporter in exchange for luxury gifts, lavish vacations and more than $750,000 in campaign donations.
The laundry list of Menendez's ethical issues actually goes a whole lot deeper, since those "lavish vacations" allegedly involved the hiring of prostitutes, said to be underage, in the Dominican Republic.  Virtually no Dem-friendly media outlet has even touched it, ans we all know why. The bias is so obvious that no one seriously tries to deny it anymore.

Still, media hacks like MSNBC's overly wound-tight Larry O'Donnell occasionally try to pretend they're doing their best to cover these sorts of stories. According to O'Donnell, they simply can't.

The reason? Donald Trump. It's seems Trump is so awful that they have no choice but to ignore Democrat corruption. Trump is on Twitter, you know, and there are only so many hours in the day.
“If we had anyone else in the White House, if we had any other president in the White House, any other of the Republicans that were running for president, never mind, have Hillary Clinton as president, the Menendez trial would be a very big item in all of our coverage. But this is what Donald Trump has done to coverage; the trying to keep up with everything the president is generating on a given day is just overwhelming. You don’t want your president tweeting all the time or at all if you’re a Republican."
Uh-huh. So because they have to cover Trumps Twitter activity, MSNBC can't cover Bob Menendez's corruption trial. Got it! I suspect the real reason Lawrence O'Donnell personally doesn't have time to cover the Menendez trial is that he's still too busy trying to find out who is doing that HAMMERING!!!!

DC to Honor Famous Crack Head With Statue

This is just another reason the District of Columbia should never be considered for statehood. In this day and age where American historical figures are being torn down, their reputations as well as monuments, the irony should not be lost on anyone that the District of Columbia is about to erect a statue to a crack head and convicted felon, two time corrupt former mayor of DC, Marion"the bitch set me up"Barry.
"Nearly 3 years after Marion Barry’s death, a bronze statue of the legendary former D.C. mayor is taking shape, and photos released this week provide a sneak peak at what the memorial will look like. Pictures from artists at Weitzman Studios in Maryland show a full-body clay model of Barry smiling and waving, wearing a suit and snakeskin shoes.
Barry served four terms as mayor and was known as the city’s “Mayor for Life.” “The impact that Marion Barry had on the District is invaluable,” said Council member Vincent Gray. I look forward to the day when there is a dedication of this statue to commemorate somebody who made such an important contribution to this city. The D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities, the agency heading up the $300,000 project. When the entire statue is completed, it will be installed outside the John A. Wilson Building along Pennsylvania Avenue."
Barry was twice elected, once before being video taped honking on a crack pipe with a hooker in a sleazy DC motel room, and elected again after a 6 month stretch in federal prison for three felony counts of perjury, 10 counts of drug possession, and one misdemeanor count of conspiracy to possess cocaine. This my friends is what left considers a hero worthy of a memorial statue......

The Hogs Come A-callin

Arkansas vs. LSU
11 AM CT. ESPN

After a trip to Tuscaloosa and giving the Crimson Tide all they could handle in a valiant losing effort last Saturday, the Tigers return to Death Valley this week to host the Arkansas Razorbacks in an early Saturday game.  Papa Hog and his Hapless Pigs haven't been much of a danger to anyones season this year, and shouldn't be much of a problem for the Tiger running backs, who were able to run for double Alabama's game average last week. That said, this is an Arkansas - LSU game with a long history that tells us the unthinkable is always a possible.
I say Tigers by 17

ELSEWHERE in the SEC

Florida v. South Carolina - 11AM CT - CBS
The Squirrel McElwain is gone, but the fact remains the Gators still suck.
I say Gamecocks by 14

Georgia v. Auburn - 2:30PM CT - CBS
Okay, Jarrett Stidham is for real, at least against lesser defenses. They've played against 2 good ones and loss to both. I'm still not convinced the Gus Bus is on the same level as Alabama and Georgia.  But this should be a good game.
I say Dawgs by 10

Alabama v. Mississippi St. - 6PM CT - ESPN
If MS studied the film carefully of the LSU game at Alabama last week, they could learn a lot about Alabama's defense (even the LSU radio play-by-play guys noticed something revealing) and they could make this a game. If not, no amount of cowbell is gonna save them from their wrath........
I say Tide by 17

Upset of the week:
TCU goes to Norman and beats the Okla. Sooners in their own house.

Hillary Guest-Edits Slutty Teen Magazine

Excerpts from DownTrend

"Having spent the last two months promoting her grimoire of grievance What Happened?, Hillary continues to linger like a bad case of gas on the day after Thanksgiving.  And now in an announcement that is sure to thrill the dead-enders and the next generation of feminists, Hillary will be guest editing the upcoming issue of Teen Vogue which is one of the last print editions. The issue is scheduled to hit newsstands in early December. In doing so it would seem that Hillary is putting her personal seal of approval on Teen Vogue’s often reprehensible sexual articles that promote ideas of being sexually promiscuous to a target audience of girls 11-17.

This is the same magazine that drew outrage over July’s controversial “A Guide to Anal Sex” which is only one of the raunchy articles that the rag publishes on an ongoing basis and resulted in a boycott movement that may have impacted the publisher’s decision to put an end to the print edition. Traditional  mothers were outraged that the content was sending the message to their daughters that it was cool to be sluts.

Some other examples of the fare that seems directed at grooming future victims of sexual predators like Hillary’s Hollywood donor Harvey Weinstein are:“If I Have Oral Sex, Am I Still a Virgin?”- “Consent and BDSM: What You Should Know” - “Myths About Your Vagina You Should Not Believe”- you get the picture."

The Hill quotes Clinton:
“Teen Vogue takes teen girls seriously and understands that style and substance aren’t mutually exclusive,” Clinton writes in the statement, saying she jumped at the chance to guest edit. “I love seeing articles about the search for the perfect makeup remover next to essays about running for office (I have strong opinions on both topics, but we’ll get to that later). Teen girls are a powerful force for good in the world, and it’s refreshing to see that reflected in these pages,” she continued.

They call the issue “a celebration of resistance and resilience.” Having recently been swept up by the leftist propaganda hate train, it wouldn't surprise me if there was article titled "Contemplating Social Justice while giving your boyfriend a blowjob".

The Things You Can Learn for 60k a Year

Some parents take second jobs, third mortgages and sacrifice everything to send their kids to Ivy League schools like Harvard, one of the top academic and priciest schools in the country, to prepare them for the real world as leaders in business, medicine and law. And those parents should be comforted to know that in this competitive information age, Harvard is on the cutting edge and they're preparing their young people for the job market by helping them master the proper way to stick things up their butts

Yes, Harvard University is in the midst of 'Sex Week', complete with workshops introducing students to anal beads and butt plugs, and instructing them on proper techniques. The event is hosted by 'Natasha' of the  adult shop "Good Vibrations", who  discusses  the value of ‘practice, practice, practice’, and a primer on the importance of using medical-grade butt plugs. It was one of many workshops held at the Ivy League university.  Around 50 students attended. And how prestigious is it to be taught by someone who simply goes by “Natasha?”

Remember when you were young and your mom told you not to put things in your mouth or up your nose? There was good reason. In fact it’s even more important not to shove things in your ass, your mom just never thought that was a lesson you needed to learn.

CNN Polls Its Own Viewers - Probably Wished They Hadn't

Despite their hoop-la over the non-shocking gubernatorial victories in New Jersey and Virginia last night, the Democrat Party is in bad shape. CNN decided to take a poll on the party’s favorability, and wound up with results they certainly weren’t expecting. No doubt because of their embracing of leftist bigotry and identity politics, favorable views of the Party have dropped to their lowest mark in more than 25 years of polling, according to new numbers from a CNN poll conducted by SSRS.
CNN - Only 37% of Americans have a favorable opinion of Democrats, down from 44% in March of this year. A majority, 54%, have an unfavorable view, matching their highest mark in polls from CNN and SSRS, CNN/ORC and CNN/USA Today/Gallup stretching back to 1992. The rating includes low favorable ratings from some core Democratic groups, including nonwhites (48%) and people under 35 years old (33%). The numbers come amid recent feuds and divisions in the Democratic Party, as former interim chair Donna Brazile’s new book has unveiled new questions about infighting during the 2016 presidential campaign. But the Republican Party isn’t doing any better, with just 30% of Americans holding a favorable view. That’s essentially the same as September, when the rating hit its lowest point in polling back to 1992, but down from 42% in March. A broad 6 in 10, 61%, have an unfavorable opinion.
Trust in the DNC further eroded after months of rabidly accusing the Trump campaign of having colluded with Russia, evidence is Democrats and the Clinton campaign were themselves colluding with Russia.

On This Date In History.......

Anticipating a Clinton victory, New York magazine writer Rebecca Traister said there was “an electric current running through” her body upon waking up that morning. Zara Rahim, Clinton campaign national spokeswoman told Esquire that she was already planning her Instagram caption. “We were waiting for the coronation........."

'No Felons in the Senate' Statement Deleted by Dems Before Menendez Verdict

A statement from former Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid insisting that a convicted felon is not going to be able to serve in the United States Senate has suddenly disappeared from the website of the Senate Democrats as jurors deliberate in the federal corruption trial of Sen. Bob Menendez (D-N.J.).  On Nov. 1, 2008, Reid issued the statement after Sen. Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) was convicted on corruption charges. The verdict came down just before his 2008 re-election bid — which he narrowly lost. Pointing to Stevens’ conviction, Reid wrote that “the reality is that a convicted felon is not going to be able to serve in the United States Senate.

The statement’s webpage link now only leads to a page stating, “This link is extinct! We’re working on it.”

Anthony Stocks Up on Soap-on-a-Rope And Heads For Federal Prison Today

Anthony Weiner reports to federal prison today. He will start serving about two years for what some dems say he deserves for his stupidity in helping elect Donald Trump, but that’s not the crime he was charged with. Six weeks ago U.S. District Judge Denise Louise Cote sentenced the disgraced 53-year-old shrill, partisan and divisive former congressman to federal prison for 21 to 27 months.

Facing a draconian ten-year sentence if convicted, the once protege of Sen. Chuck Schumer and glib poster boy for progressive Democrats, plea-bargained guilty to one count of  stupendous perviness and transferring obscene material to a minor. At his sentencing, Weiner did not stop crying until the courtroom emptied. Perhaps incarceration is karma for Weiner, who like his hero Schumer is a world class douche-bag, who long championed the overreaching prosecutors and runaway judges of the regulatory state.

Keep em clinched Anthony...........and don't drop the soap.

A Balmy Southern Night in Tuscaloosa

LSU vs ALABAMA
Saturday 7 PM CT - CBS

People in the state of Louisiana who don't take a whole lot of interest in LSU football week by week tend to take note during early November each year.  It's not so much because of a blood feud rivalry many schools have, but more rooted in a perceived shared legacy, or maybe I really should say "lost legacy".

Because of time constraints, and even when time does permit I have struggled mightily finding the right words for game post this season. This week is no exception. As a year of rebuilding, coaching change, injuries to key players, disappointment and exhilaration, I remain optimistic the season will end very well.  The 6-2 Tigers have been remarkably improved in recent weeks, but it's now November, and time for the Tigers ultimate test in the SEC.

After reading my SEC Sister Curmudgeon's first post for this years Tigers & Tide Tussle in Tuscaloosa Saturday night, I found that I could do no better then what she already has to say, and I pray she doesn't mind it being repeated here.  GEAUX TIGERS!
"In a sport where rivalry games serve as the lifeblood of college football fans, nobody does bitterness and contentious showdowns quite like the Southeastern Conference. Grudge matches abound in college football: Army-Navy, Alabama-Auburn, Michigan-Ohio State, Oklahoma-Texas, USC-Notre Dame, Georgia-Florida.
For the past ten seasons Alabama and LSU have carved their own niche in iconic college football history. How did LSU overshadow Auburn as the biggest game on Alabama’s schedule?
Nick Saban left the LSU football program for the NFL after guiding the Tigers to the 2003 BCS National Championship against Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl. After his stint with the Miami Dolphins, Saban returned to the college ranks at none other than SEC West rival Alabama. The Tiger Nation has never forgotten the pain he caused.
I have been a Bama fan since I was knee-high to a grasshopper; going all the way back to the Paul “Bear” Bryant era. If I couldn’t be a Bama fan I would be an LSU fan. Through adversity, triumph and defeat the LSU faithful are rabid, devoted fans. I admire their heart.
A tradition that began three years ago between friend and SEC sister Diogenes involves a friendly wager on the slugfest between our two beloved schools. For two years we made sizeable contributions to Wounded Warrior Project. Last year we directed our donations to Shriners Hospitals for Children. We have agreed to do so again this year.
It hurts when you lose to your most-hated rival. Diogenes and I know one of us will face losing the ballgame on Saturday. Somehow, giving from the heart to a noble cause like Shriners Hospitals, we know we’ve helped make these children champions in their own right."
It’s all too easy to lose track of what matters in this world. What could be better than helping a precious child become all God meant for him to be? I hope you’ll join us in making a donation of whatever amount you can afford to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
For almost 100 years, the Shriners Childrens Hospitals have helped more than 1.3 million children under the age of 18 and through the generosity of its donors turns patients back into kids.
Dear God, let Your grace and love fall on them like gentle breezes and give them inner strength and peace and patience for the journey ahead."

The Kickoff To The Obama Foundation Just As Weird and Culty As You’d Expect

A short while after Barack Obama was elected to his first term, I couldn't help but feel the country --- the media, celebrities, big business and pretty much anyone with nothing more than an 8th grade education--- had fallen under the spell of a cultist. To them, nothing he did or said was wrong. After reading this, my long held beliefs are confirmed.
_____________________________________________________

DC - The Obama Foundation Summit offered Democrats a chance to escape the realty of Donald Trump’s presidency but doing yoga and writing down their hopes for the country in sidewalk chalk. The summit, held in Chicago Wednesday to commemorate the launch of the Obama Foundation, attracted prominent Democratic politicians, fundraisers and celebrities, some of whom told Politico the event was "therapeutic" and represented a "sanity bubble"

After participating in a morning yoga and meditation session to begin the day, attendees were offered the opportunity to attend break out sessions with titles such as “The Adventure of Civility” and “Who Narrates the World?.” In one such session participants were encouraged to write down what they were hopeful for on a chalk board. Answers included “we speak better and listen,” “Americans will see each other,” “my nephews can escape toxic masculinity,” according to Politico.

After the therapeutic exercises, author Anand Giridharadas regaled the crowd with an opening speech, in which he asked pressing questions such as “Is there space among the woke for the still-waking?” and spoke of the “magic” of connectivity.

The upbeat two-day event included no discussion of contemporary political issues and attendees invoked the phrase “the President” to refer to former President Barack Obama. The mission of the broader Obama Foundation remains somewhat obscure, and the opening summit included little in the way of concrete details. Rather, Obama told the crowd that he saw the summit as a “big brainstorming session.”
